Alexandra stepped into the Three Broomsticks and sighed at the warmth of the place. She smiled at Lorcan and said, "Why don't we sit over in the corner? I like to people watch!" She grabbed his hand and dragged him into the pub behind her. Spotting Lucy she smiled widely and said "Hey Lucy! Good to see you!" as she passed by.

He took another sip of his butterbeer and smiled, enjoying the taste.
Lorcan grinned as the pretty blonde girl talked quite quickly to Lexi. "You're welcome. So Rafe gets to teach you to ice-skate and buy the drinks? Lucky Rafe." He said with a wry smile. He took her hand, shaking it and blushing slightly (as usual). "I'm Lorcan, first year Hufflepuff. Nice to meet you Lucy." he hoped that he wouldn't be the centre of attention for too long. He took another sip of his butterbeer and smiled, enjoying the taste.

She took a long gulp of her butterbeer, and then noticed that Kat was being left out.
Well, that's not right, she though to herself.
"Oh, and this is Katlyn, my best friend," she said as introduced Kat. Lucy emphasized the word "best" because she wanted to let Kat know that she considered them extremely good friends. Maybe she hadn't shown it, but she was telling her now.
"She's also in Gryffindor, and a first year like you!" Lucy said.
"And Rafe, of course, " she grinned, " is a first year Gryffie also," she ended, introducing Rafe to Lorcan.

Lorcan was warmed more by her smile than by the butterbeer or the warmth of the pub. "Well, there's some truth in that. The only other time I blew anything up was when I was eight. I sort of blew up the food mixer that my Gran was using and covered her in this horrible green goo that she was making." He laughed at the memory and then chewed his lip. The others didn't know that his grandmother was a cow. Would they think he was being rude. "It was an accident, of course!" he blurted out.
Lucy stepped into The Three Broomsticks with a smile on her face and accompanied by Rafe and Kat. She was so glad to be out of the cold and in the warm bar...the sweet smell of butterbeer was in the air and it was like someone had just brewed Amortentia.
Lucy took in a deep breath, and said to the other two, "Let's get a table in the back," leading them to a corner of the bar.

Lorcan realised that the other male in the party wasn't exactly saying anything and had blushed when he had mentioned that the girls were pretty. Perhaps being brought up without his father meant that he had a slightly more female perspective on things, but he knew that girls like to be told that they were pretty, wether they would admit that or not.
He turned to Rafe with a friendly smile. "So, what do you think of Hogwarts then?" He hoped to make a new male friend, he was feeling rather out numbered by girls at every turn.

He headed out of the Three Broomsticks after her. "I won't tell you if you will look stupid or not wearing it," he told her as he entered the streets again.

"But you gotstaaaa." Tammy frowned, and folded her arms in his direction, frowning deeper.
"Hey!" Kat said excitedly. She always loved to meet new people. "She's not only my best friend but my 'Partner in crime'" she said to Lorcan while giving Lucy a little nudge. "By the way I luv your name! it's very unique" she said
Lucy nudged Kat back, glad that she considered them best friends. She smiled and sipped her butterbeer some more.

Rafe scoffed a little when they said Alexandra trouble. He found that hard to believe. Try causing a lung to disappear, he thought. Rafe simply leaned back and let the conversation continue.

Lucy watched the conversation between Alexandra and Lorcan with a smile on her face. Lorcan blushed a lot--he seemed quite shy. She couldn't help but notice that maybe there was something going on between them--but she wasn't one to intervene in those kind of things.
Rafe finally came out of his trance and said something.
She noticed that he blushed when talking hearing the phrase "pretty girls."
She couldn't help but smile and a laugh escaped her lips.
She let the boys continue their conversation and turned to Kat and Alexandra.
"So girls, let's talk about soemthing girly since the guys here are off on their on track!" she said.
This is just what she needed--some girl time.
And she took one last sip of her butterbeer as the bottle was empty.
