Once referred to as "The Mysterious Tapestry", this wall hanging first came to notice during Draconia's tenure as Headmistress. The passageway which existed behind the tapestry has long since been sealed but, the tapestry continues to be a site of great interest to those familiar with its story or appreciate such textile arts. It also makes a convenient meeting place as there is no other tapestry as grand as this in the castle. | |

Raiden winced, visibly. His eyes squeezed shut, his nose wrinkled up slightly and he let out a groan of annoyance. Jack had just mentioned the same person he had thought about.
"That's exactly who I was thinking of. And I think that's the person who stuck these up." Sigh. "I can't be sure because I didn't see her face or anything, but I did see really really red hair, and not like... a normal red that you'd see on everyone, you know?"
He didn't know of that many red-haired girls in the school, especially younger ones. Ugh. Why would she do this? Why were people being so mean lately, it was ridiculous! Idly he wondered if somehow the murders of two students now were connected to... this whole anti-werewolf thing. Could it be? Was someone getting really really serious about being anti-werewolf or something? It was a far-fetched idea, but... still. |

"Right," Jack said with a head nod. "Even if we're wrong and it WASN'T her, that still doesn't make the pool of suspects very large," he pointed out. He didn't think they were wrong though, he was very certain there was only ONE girl in the school with hair like that.
"I can't believe the used they word FREAK," he said with a sigh, shaking his head as he looked at the poster again. "I wonder how many students are actually involved in this," he wondered aloud. This was the first he had heard of it, which could either be a good or a bad thing--if it was good, that meant that the word hadn't spread about this organization to a lot of people. If it was bad--well, that proved that SOMEONE somewhere knew Jack's opinion on werewolves, and had left him out of the planning for obvious reasons. Perhaps that was why this was all new to Raiden too? Hmmmmm.

"I doubt there's even a dozen people in Hogwarts with red hair, and I doubt even more that many of them are female," Raiden said softly, folding the poster in his hands in half. He didn't want to look at the stupid thing anymore, it was just going to get him upset and unhappy and there had already been a murder! He didn't want to deal with stupid posters about how much people hated others as well. "Do you reckon we should hand these over to a Professor? I don't know how inclined they'll be to ask the girl about it, seeing as I didn't see her face."
He didn't know for sure that it had been her, so would telling a professor that he was fairly sure it was really fair? What if it had been a girl wearing a wig or someone who had done a spell to disguise themselves? He looked at Jack, biting his lower lip. Should they tell the professors they thought it was that girl? Or would it be better to kinda... try and find out more? If there was one, there was bound to be more. After all, the poster advertised it as wizardS. As in more than one.

Raiden stared at the folded up poster in his hands. Jack had raised a good point. Which professors would agree with the group? It was probable that there was at least one, let alone more... and Professor Lupa and Headmaster Bontecou would probably be really upset if they saw these, yes.
"Well, I'm sure they'll take it seriously if... they see these. I mean, calling your professors 'freaks' surely isn't something that's allowed, right?" He frowned. Who could they go to? If not Professor Lupa...
There was really only one professor that Raiden really trusted and knew would take him seriously.
"Maybe Professor Truebridge?" he said softly, looking toward the tapestry as if the man would appear there because his name had been spoken. "He would take it seriously, I'm sure. And I don't think he's really biased against werewolves. Actually I don't think he's much biased against anything."
He was a good guy, that professor. | |

Okay, so this seemed to be a safer place to sit with books all around him than the 2nd floor corridor had been. Though if Reese came and fell again he wouldn't feel responsible this time. It would be her fault for being blind.
Currently, he was reading a huge book that he had picked up in the library on Magical Creatures. It was hard to even hold the thing on his lap, it was so heavy.
He really needed Alex to help him memorize all this or his head was going to explode. | |

"I'm not?" he replied, realizing it was probably bad to sound shocked. "Oh, well, I guess that's good to know too." He had to remind himself that such a thing was typically meant as a compliment and not an insult. He smirked as he looked up, having a tendency to do that whenever searching for something to say. "So how'd you two meet?"
He brought his eyes back down to meet the other's, his expression amiable even though he wasn't sure if he wanted to know. Why'd he ask? Why? | |

For once it seemed that he was sorta genuinely okay with talking with him. And that put him a bit more at ease. He was starting to see why Alex had been so uncomfortable at the party. The friend test could be brutal. "You're not bad, no." He wasn't sure why the boy seemed shocked to hear it. But that wasn't really his concern.

What is wrong with me? he thought to himself, and managed to soften himself up enough to smile. And to be honest, it was more at the thought of Alex running square into Torin. "What a way to meet someone," he replied, almost chuckling to himself through his words.
When Damon had met her she had been upset about something. Then they had talked about a lot of the same things, but it had ended differently with them. They had started talking about taking over the world. What an ending. | |
