Evelyn was enjoying the feeling of the wind on her face, and especially the view. She was flying up higher then everyone else, watching their movements and looking at her surroundings as she pushed the broom to go even faster. She didn't hear the professor announce that the class was over, but she did eventually see a couple people fly down and put away their brooms before leaving. Sighing, she stopped and hovered in the air, taking in her surroundings one last time and enjoy the feeling of being up in the air before slowly flying down to the ground. 'Maybe i can ask to come out and fly again later...' she thought as she gently landed and walked over to put the broom back on the broom rack before heading up to the castle. Then changing her mind, she headed toward the Whomping Willow instead. |
Michelle happily put off her broomstick as Professor Vindictus dismissed the class. She was happy as it had been a very interesting flying lesson, probably the best thing about being a Witch. Maybe she could try out for the team next year |

Skylark sighed as dismissal was called. She had loved to fly! She lowered herself tp the ground and let it hover in the air as she dismounted 2 feet of the ground. "Ohh, when's next class, sir?" She knew he may have mentioned this before, but she had been to busy enjoying the brisk, cool air. |
A glowing sign appeared at the entrance of the Practice Pitch next to the broom rack containing school brooms for the lesson. Quote:
Professor Vindictus was already there - he was bundled in his black winter Quidditch robes and he was beginning to wonder if the snow was deterring students from arriving to his lesson. |
Willow Kovac detested the cold. But this was Flying lesson, and she would never miss an oportunity to fly, even if the weather was at it's worst. UGH. Good thing she'd worn the require clothes that would hopefully keep her warm. "Hey, sir!" Greeted the seventh year as she arrived the pitch, with a nod of her head and small grin directed to the head of the house. |

Actually, no. It was cooold out here, people! LouAnn had...misplaced her winter tops and had been forced to tempt that whole human popsicle thing Professor Vindictus warned the students about. She nodded a greeting to the professor, trying to appear calm under the harsh circumstances. |
Marie arrived at the pitch ready to fly. It was a cold night but she was bundled in her warmest robes, scarf and gloves. "Hello Professor, how have you been?" She asked as she looked around to see who else had come out in this cold. |
"Ah, Willow and . . . erm, Lulu! Welcome! Grab a broom and we'll get started once more people show up," Vindictus grinned and he couldn't help but snicker at the thought of the icicles hanging from the goal hoops on the field. Oh, this was going to be a fun lesson. Snow. Quidditch. What else could one ask for? |
Keeley grudgingly dragged herself onto the quidditch pitch. She still hadn't conquered her fears, not at all, but she wanted to earn some house points. Plus, she liked watching the others, they were so graceful. |
Willow eyed Professor Vindictus warily; that man was up to no good. As it was, though, she gave him a polite nod and went to retrieve one of the broomsticks - hopefully the best one. She didn't WANT to fly in some ... broom that did not obey her commands. |
Cold smold! Plymouth Morgan had his whistle in his mouth and his FAVORITE LESSON to go to. No amount of weather could rain on his parade! Or SNOW on it! He blew LOUDLY on his whistle to announce his arrival. |
It. Was. COLD. Cam shivered, he shivered more than shivered and walked towards the Practice Pitch--too cooooldddd to skip. But he wanted to fly today, because FLYING was like AWEEESOMEEEE. "Hi professahhh," he simply told the flying instructor and then made a HUUUUGE 'hello' wave at Willow because Willow always deserved those kind'a stuff, aye ayeeee. Mmm. |
Burr! Jule walked through the cold that made her pale skin turn red. The only time of the year she had one color on her skin. Red nose, red ears and red cheeks. As she made her way to the pitch, she pulled her hat lower, almost covering her eyes. Her brown curls whooshed in the wind. "Sup, P-Professor," she smiled at her head of house, and waited for the lesson to start. |
'It is too cold for this!' was what Destiny was thinking as she made her way down to the field. But the thought about sitting on a broom again warmed her up. (Well not really.) 'Hello Professor!' she said as she was hopping up and down trying to get warm, and maaaaybe she was a tad bit excited. |
Evelyn bounced down to the practice pitch, shivering like crazy on the way making her look like a vibrating bouncy ball. The thought of that made her smile and laugh at herself. Pulling her jacket tighter around herself so no cold air could make it through, she skipped faster, trying to warm herself up so she could fly properly. Arriving at the pitch, she waved to the professor. "Helllloooo P-pprofessssorrr." she said, slightly out of breathe and chattering her teeth, almost running into Destiny in the process of slowing down. "Sorry." |

Wooooot for flying! Not really dressed for the cold, since the adrenaline rush helped him out on that one, Jake sprinted onto the pitch with a huuuuuuuuge grin on his face. "Let's get this partay started!" he exclaimed, grinning like a madman. |
Quote:
No, that wouldn't be smart. |

"Welcome to today's lesson - Quidditch Basics!" Vindictus announced to the students who arrived. "Before we start flying, let's talk Q-U-I-D-D-I-T-C-H . . . QUIDDITCH! Who can tell me the names of the positions in the game?" |

Evelyn laughed at the thought of practicing inside the castle. "That would be utter chaos." she said, still snickering, but then slowly stopped and looked as if she was thinking hard on something. 'Practicing inside the castle?' she thought, imagining people flying through the hallways, the great hall, hospital wing, library...racking up havoc in the Gryffindor common room... Suddenly, her expression brightened some. "Huuh. That would be fun actually." she said, watching Destiny hop like a bunny (teehee), and for no reason, she turned and grinned excitedly at the professor. 'When are we starrrrtttiiiinnng?' Quote:
NOW they were. Raising her hand, she suddenly blurted out, "There are the Keeper, Chasers, Beaters, and the Seeker." she said, still shivering from the cold and excitement. |
This was easy. "Beater, Seeker, Chaser and Keeper, sir." Speaking of which, she had a game coming up. |
Quote:
Turning when the prfoessor asked a question, Destiny smiled. Quidditch? This will be easy. 'The positions are, keeper, seeker, beater, and chaser!' she raised her hand still hopping up and down. |
