Plymouth ... well, he did the only thing he could: watched Cela hug the tree. He was master of his face, so he was blank as his parchment was when he was in Runes. BLANK. He turned back to Copernicus and pocketed his hands.

"Right. Well. I guess I'll go to the student garden if you got me a feather."

"But we need Copernicus to see Thestrals though." Celandine told Plymouth and pulled back from the tree, frowning at him slightly. Was he okay?

She offered a cheerful smile and took a hopeful step towards him. He was okay, right?

Oh right. Thestrals. Meeerrrrf. Plymouth found the very bottom of his pockets and picked at them.

"I'm alright, CellBell," Plymouth told her, his voice low. He put his back to Copernicus so he could talk to her and pretend Cope wasn't there. "I don't like... you know.. just feels weird. For me." Plymouth eyed her shoes. Cela always had CUTE shoes.

Camryn ran into the Forest. I settled myself on the ground and leaned against a tree trunk. Silent tears streaming down my face.

"Oh." Cela answered quietly, clearly deflated. She leaned forward and planted a tiny little kiss on Plymmy's cheek. "Talk later? Maybe... come to Hogsmeade with me?" She asked hopefully.

She was still casting her eyes around for other clues for the class game.

Evelyn entered the forest, hesitantly at first, creeping from tree to tree. Deciding it was better to have a little protection, she took out her ash wand and held it in front of her...just in case. She's seen a couple students enter and leave the forest, so it was probably safe...but you never know. After several minutes of walking without a clue as to what she was looking for, she noticed some feathers on the ground. Without thinking twice, she picked a a few up and stuck them in her bag. There was more than enough for everyone else and she continued walking.

Hearing a few twigs crunch from her right, Evelyn raised her wand higher, ready to strike if being attacked. But there was nothing there. Thinking it was a student, she starting walking towards where the sound came from. She was walking for some good time now and she was afraid she might have gotten lost, but then she noticed a couple students standing and talking by a tree that looked like it had little pieces taken off of it, a few leaves scattered on the ground as well. Sighing and thanking Merlin that she wasn't lost, she started walking away from the students at first, taking a long way around them before coming up behind the tree and taking a little branch off, sticking it in her bag. Without bothering to look at the others, she started off again, hoping to find something else.

Plymouth struggled to get his hand out of his pocket, but he finally got it out and reached up to touch his cheek. He blushed from forehead to neck to ears, completely embarrassed (and wildly happy). "You know you don't have to ask me." Merlin, Merlin, Merlin, surely she KNEW that. "I asked Willow to go with me one weekend," he blurted.


Errr... Plymouth gave a quick look over his shoulder. Was... Perni still there? Off looking for thestrals, hopefully. Maybe he just... yeah. mm.

They needed him... to see thestrals? That was only a bit insulting. Nice to be needed because he'd seen his mother die. Very nice.

"I'll just go... tree." Copernicus let them have their best buddy nuzzle time as he wandered off to look for... FINE. Thestrals. Was he allowed to be a little jealous of the relationship his brother had with Cela? Not when Cope was the one who'd stolen her from Plyouth in the first place.

Cela gave Plymouth a long look.

"I know I don't have to, I wanted to. Not because I feel obliged to. If you don't want to, you only need to say so." And then in a quieter voice. "I like Willow."

Celandine looked over her shoulder wondering where Copernicus had gone, then she turned her attention back to Plymouth.

A sudden thought hit her.

Plymouth Morgan was being maybe just the tiniest bit selfish.

She pouted at him and contemplated going off to look for Copernicus, but she really didn't want to not be friends with Plymmy, even if it seemed to her at that moment that he didn't want to be friends with her anymore.

Because it was too 'hard', right?

"I miss you." She told him. She missed spending time with her friend.

"You should know I want to go anywhere with you, CellBell," Plymouth shrugged - after a long squirm from her LOOK. What ... now? "But yeah, I do too. Evolette was telling me that maybe her and Denton weren't on the best of terms. So, maybe she needs to go out and have fun. I'm going to ride her around on my back, buy her a stuffed animal or something." Plymouth's hands found his pockets again and burrowed into them.


"You don't have to miss me. Come hang out with me. You know where I live." The same tower as her, in fact.


Had Plymouth any sense about him all (Cela's fault that he currently didn't hehe), he'd have NOT.. sent Cope to look for thestrals. He... was not heartless. Plymouth would have just pretended to see one, swear on his life that he had, and then just move on. Ah well.

"What sort of tree is THIS?" Copernicus shifted his fingers through the low branches of some trees and then through the nettles nearby. OW. Ow ow. Oh, hey. Blood!

"Here.... thestrals. Come and... smell my blood..."

I was walking throught the forest in deep thought not paying attention to where I was going, when suddenly I collided with Cassirin. I grabbed my leg, because when I fell I cut it on a sharp twig, trying to stop the blood that would attract the therestrals

"Dom-in-ick thinks that he's in love with Willow. I don't think he is. I think he's infatuated with the idea of her." Celandine informed Plymouth, looking away as she did so.

Because really... thats what she thought about her and Plymmy now too.

"Well thats why I said lets go to Hogsmeade together. Because I want to hang out with you." Celandine put her hands on her hips and offered him a smile. "Come on, lets find Cope okay?"

She turned around and started to look for him. As she wandered she looked at the ground, wondering if she might spot something useful.

"Copernicus?"

Feathers!

Hippogriffs? Cam didn't know for sure but... well they LOOKED pretty reaaaal. So he grabbed a feeeww. WAS HEEE DONE?! Yes. Right? He stood up from the leaves and ran straaaaaiiiighhtttt back to the lesson.

As the Ravenclaw boy [Copernicus Kettleburn] stumbled around, calling out to the thestrals, his footsteps crunched through a few large fallen leaves.

Not what he had been looking for but useful nonetheless?

Celandine caught up to Copernicus, trusting that Plymmy would follow along behind too.

"Oh! Look!" She knew those leaves. Cela picked one up for herself and pocketed it happily. "Copernicus! Plymouth!" She called both of the boys to come get one.

Evelyn was looking up through an opening in the trees to the sky when she heard someone yell, but not quite making out the words. Thinking they were in trouble, she hurried to where she thought the person was, stopping behind a tree and peaking around it to see who it was. A girl was pocketing leaves that Evelyn wasn't familiar with, and then yelled over to two other people to get some themselves. 'Part of the list?' she thought, taking out the scavenger hunt list and stared down at it. Curious, she decided to wait until the little group left before getting one herself.

When she caught site of both Cela and a Slytherin student collecting some sort of leaf, LouAnn thought to head over in that direction, as well, and see if it might be an item she was searching for. Sure enough, the leaf was indeed an item she'd need to pocket, and pocket she did! She stowed the leaf away into the same part of her robes the other items were in, as well. Her pockets were getting really stuffed with the various items she'd picked up! Hopefully she'd manage to find the remaining items quickly, so she could return to class with a full list of items!

Plymouth didn't know what Denton did or didn't do, and wasn't going to speculate on it either. Definitely not his business, but he was content to take Willy out for fun either way. He trudged on behind Cela, keeping a few feet behind her. "Ulmus," Plymouth grinned. "Give it a hug, Pernipants. Give the Ulmus a hug." Him and Cela had hugged the Oak, after all.

Copernicus grabbed up one of the leaves, giving it an intent look before shoving it in his satchel. Plymouth would know what it was. Plymouth was sort of a genius about plants.

"Ulmus," Cope repeated before giving the tree a little hug. Because Plym said so.

Abby notices Copernicus over by another tree talking to Plymout and Celandine about thestrals. Abby does a 180 degree turn. She doesn't see any thestrals, and Abby should be able to see them. She watch her younger brother die when she was six, and Alexander was four. Abby walks over. "Hello Copernicus, Plymouth, Celandine, did I hear someone say they saw a thestral?" Abby looks down at the leaves at Copernicus's feet. She picks on up and examines it.

Jack felt like he was going in circles...probably because they were. Even though they had been in the Forbidden Forest before, he KNEW that they were missing something...like DUH there were billions of trees around them! There HAD to be more in there.

He started scanning the ground for leaves from any of the trees, wondering if any of them were the ones they needed. He stumbled upon some pretty large ones and picked them up, examining them. "Here um--this looks important," Jack said, giving him one of the leaves and pocketing one for himself.

Was that Plymouth dude hugging a tree? Interesting...that wasn't part of the assignment was it?

Why were they back where they had come from? He was a bit confused now. They were wasting time here!

But he wasn't going to comment. It wasn't what they needed right now, him complaining.

Then he saw Jack pointing something out. "What you got there?" he asked as he looked at the leaves. "Maybe that's from a birch tree." Totally guessing here. He wasn't a tree expert by any means.

Jack shrugged. "If you say so!" he said. He'd just take Torin's word for it that it was a birch leaf. He had NO idea. He really didn't.

"How many more trees have we got to find?" he asked with a groan, looking a his list. The trees were the hardest by far.

"Way too many," he replied with a sigh. He was tired of looking for trees already.
