"Oh, and smile, sir!" she called out, raising her left hand and the camera into the air while dangling her wand in the air with her right hand. *click* The camera went off, snapping a nice shot of the groundskeeper.

Copernicus was pretty much amused by this whole effort. Plymouth playing ring around the tree with his shovel in an attempt to avoid roots, Cela trying to lift the tree herself, and Purple-girl rolling around in the dirt... well, the dirt was rolling around in HER, at least.
He dropped the axe and took out his own camera to capture the amusing scene. He preferred candid shots, so he didn't bother telling anyone what he was up to.

The camera disappeared again, and he waved at Mr. Masterson. "Sir? What should I do with your axe?"

It was the mass rather than the weight which was dragging and once it was almost verticle, Cela whose tongue had been peeking out of the corner of her mouth in consternation, looked over at Kiri, waiting for her to cast on the other end. They had to get it in the pot... Abby walks the grounds looking for subject for her Muggle Studies Homework. She already knows she's no good at taking photos. Her fingers usually end up as the main subject matter in most of her photographs. Abby walks into the woods when she spots Professor Morgan and Mister Master standing together talking. Abby then notices Celadine, Plymouth, and Copernicus digging up trees. Why in the world are they digging up trees? Most people just cut them down and put them in a stand. Plymouth must have something to do with this. He loves plants, so Plymouth must not want them killed to make Christmas trees. Abby takes he camera out of her pocket and aims for Celadine. Look at her levitate that tree. I know the girl is fantastic in class, but the girl can really do extraordinary magic in the field too. Abby snaps a quick shot. She then pockets her camera and moves along. | |

Constantine decided to make the most of Iliana's wand, enlarging the pots ahead of time for the students. He then started looking around the area to see if any of the kiddos needed help.

Trying to look as though he came down to the forbidden forest every other day and NOT trying to find wood to make a new wand, Marcus strolled along casually singing a little tune he had picked up many years ago.

Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic.
He made his way into the forest and began to study each and every tree as he tried to remember the next part of the song. He noticed that there were students here also but he ignored them, he didn't want anyone to know what he was doing.
Oh he had remembered the next part of the song. Yay.
Picnic time for teddy bears,
The little teddy bears are having a lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See them gaily dance about.
They love to play and shout.
And never have any cares.
At six o'clock their mommies and daddies

After a few minutes' careful manoeuvring, they'd managed it. Kiri held the top steady as Celandine used her wand to shovel some earth into the pot. Then they were good to go.
With small steps, Kiri followed behind Celandine, Raiden and Professor Morgan, keeping a watchful eye on the tree. She could only imagine what that scene must look like from a distance: A few tiny figures surrounding a large tree hovering above the ground.
The castle seemed to be much farther away than Kiri remembered. Moving the tree wasn't exactly... difficult, but it was, in a strange way, exhausting. She could feel her concentration slip as alternately glancing at the treetop, the ground and Celandine became increasingly repetitive. Her wand arm was feeling a little heavy as well now. She wondered if she was able to switch with Raiden in case the spell became too difficult to maintain, but as Celandine didn't seem to have a problem so far, Kiri held on. She distracted herself by checking out Professor Morgan's winter wardrobe and wondering how much her hat would cost by owl order. That helped. It was easy enough making sure the tree stayed secure in the pot. She double checked it and shot a jet of water in there for good measure too. You always watered a plant when you repotted it right? Even if it was a giant Pine tree?
Cela let her arm sit naturally, elbow bent and braced against her hip so that it was easier to keep her wand trained on the tree. She tried to keep an eye on where they were going, but she trusted Raiden and Professor Morgan to make sure they didn't run anyone over with the tree.

Kay looked into the forest and listened to all the sounds. She knew that students weren't to be in the forest, but she didn't care. Kay was alone and it would be a good way to just be lost. Kay needed to be with her parents and she didn't see when other way other than.....'Mum, I need you. Please help me. I just want to have friends. Grandmother hates me and I can't do this anymore.' Kay thought as she started to walk into the forest.

Lyra had left the Common Room to take a walk on the school grounds. She had passed the big lake after looking at the water for a few moments. Her hands in her robe pockets , the girl continued to walk on the grass and soon passed the maïze maze where she remembered she had been lost together with a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor. She grinned silently to herself and continued her pace. It was strange, even though it was in the middle of the day and the sun was shining, it got darker with every step she took. Looking up, Lyra noticed that she was near the Forbidden Forest. Curiousity being a main character thingie from her, she walked to the edge of the Forest and looked around. Seeing two Hufflepuff near by, Lyra was sort of relieved that she wasn't the only one. She wanted to walk further but something made her stand still and look at the forest. It wouldn't hurt if she was taking a look right? just staying near the edge wouldn't mind anyone?

What was that sound? It sounded like footsteps. There wasn't a dangerous animal running around and running towards her right? right?! Lyra moved her right hand and her wand shot out of her wristholster in to her hand. But what could she do if there really was a dangerous animal like...a werewolf or something was out there? This place was filled with disgusting werewolves so it wouldnt surprise her.
Lyra was shocked to find out that something had ran against her. Giving a yelp, the second year dropped her wand on the ground. With a feared look on her face, Lyra looked in front of her and saw that it was just a student. Laughing to herself, her look of fear faded away and she was about to apologize when...SHANA! Argh no way! she was even WORSE than a dangerous creature! Lyra looked at the older girl and glowered at her. "I should watch out? your the one running around like a madman!" she said not paying the girl much attention but had started to look around for her wand. Stupid Shana, she made her drop her precious wand! "What were you even doing? running around like that?" she asked the girl when she had finally found her awesome wand lying near a tree after picking up a few normal branches.

Yup she's a seriously crazy nutcase!
Staring at Shana , Lyra noticed that she had made fists with her hands and her arms were hanging tightly beside her. She wasn't angry or anything but just the thought of being in the Forbidden Forest with Shana would make ANYONE feel unsafe. Cause Shana was, evil, weird , crazy, and what not.
Hmm the trees could fall down on Shana? ....and that was bad....how? In her mind, Lyra saw Shana walking around and suddenly a tree fell on her. Controlling a seriously cold laugh, Lyra's eyes twinkled. "Aww don't worry, i would be the last one to see you" she grinned. "Have you ever been here before?" she asked in a rather casual voice and tried to look up at the sky. The leaves from the trees were close to each other making it darker.

Shana looked at Lyra. "Why on earth in the name of Merlin's spotty underpants are you trying to be nice to me ?" She blinked. Lyra and Her getting on, It just... It just didn't make any sense it was an aquasion that didn't and/or shouldn't add up!
