Tavelon worked his way up the corridor to the food trolley. Luckily there wasn't even a line yet. That was particularly good for Tavelon, as he had the patience of an 11 year old... because he was an 11 year old.

"Um... I was wondering if I could get some stuff for myself and my friends for the trip..." He picked a number of sweets and snacks off the cart and got out his money pouch "How much are they"

'Fooood' Lyra thought as she had left her compartment in the back of the train. Her stomach growled loudly and she hit her stomach once slightly. "shut it" she whispered to it and continued walking towards the trolley. She only had a quick breakfast before going towards the Hogwarts Express with her parents. Obviously like always, Lyra had overslept so she had to rush towards the station with one piece of dry bread in her hand. So , all those candies are going to be her breakfast !
Arriving there, Lyra was pleased to see that it wasn't busy, only one person was standing by the trolley and Lyra smiled at this and walked towards a guy she had never seen before but looked like he was her age. Lyra said a "Hey" and started to look on the trolley.

"Lyra!"yelled Malfalda.She hugged her friend tightly."I'll pay for the food for ya."she said,taking some money out of her pocket.]"Ready to be a second year?"she said

"EEEEEK!" Lyra let out a loud yelp when someone hugged her. She had been a bit lost in thought while looking at the trolley so she hadn't heard anyone calling her name. She turned around and saw it was Malfalda, the girl she had met in the Gryffindor common room last year. "Mal!" she said , excited to see her and used a nickname for her. Buy for the food? what was it with people these days? two people already wanted to pay for her food these few days, she is not broke or anything "no, no i can't do that, i want to pay for my stuff myself, but thanks for the offer" Lyra said with a smile and waved her hand. "I can't wait to start my second year! what about you?"

"Can't wait!Sure ya don't want to pay for it?"she said,tucking the money back her pocket."I'll have a Chocolate Frog."she said taking some money back out of her pocket.

"i'm sure" Lyra said and grabbed her own money out of her pocket. "You know, my parent's didn't want me to go back this year, they heard what had happened last year at school , you know the floods and stuff, they also freaked out when they read about the Werewolf" Lyra sighed deeply, her whole family may be Gryffindors but when it came to protecting their daughter they threw their bravery aside and became overprotected, in Lyra's opinion. Lyra turned around to look at the trolley yet again and after a few moments she knew what she wanted. "i'll have 3 chocolate frogs, 4 licurious wands, 5 ice mice some bertie botts every flavour beans , 6 Licorious wands and a fizzing whizbee" Lyra said as her stomach started to growl louder while saying the sorts of candy and she turned around laughing. "Sorry i havent eaten well today" she said , grinning broadly.
"so, how was your vacation, did anything interesting?"

Okay, so Kel had a problem, and he knew it. He ate too many sugar quills. But yet, here he was, on his way to buy some more to eat on the way to Hogwarts. He dug into his pockets for some sickles, and when it was his turn at the trolley, he bought six sugar quills.

After unwrapping one, he placed it in his mouth and started sucking lightly on it. He smiled as his pygmy puff - which was lying on his shoulder - made a squeaking noise. Kel wondered absentmindedly if Neige would like sugar quills. He tried to look down at the white fluff ball, but found that he couldn't, since the thing was on his shoulder. With a shrug of his free shoulder, he stuck the candy back into his mouth and started heading back toward the middle of the train.

Okay, so she was starving. No...she was DYING of hunger. So what do you do when you have a sudden craving...or hunger? You bye Pumpkin Pasties of coarse!

So that's exactly what Jenn was going to do. Her pockets jingled with the coins that were bouncing in them as she skipped down the hall. She could almost taste and smell the yummy treats! But then, she ran right into someone. "Watch it!"she cried as she landed lightly on her butt. Rubbing her head, she looked up, her eyes widdening. "Oh! Sorry Kel!"she said, feeling the color rise to her cheeks. Great, she eaither is kissing or embarressing him, or running into him and scarying him.

Kel jumped as he felt something - or most likely someone - ran into him. He gagged on his sugar quill, and Neige rolled off his shoulder, down his out-stretched arm, and fell onto the floor. Kel gasped in surprise as the pygmy puff started rolling away, and he dropped to his knees and grabbed the little thing before it could get too far.

"Jenn!" he exclaimed in surprise, plopping down on his behind in front of the girl. "You have a habit for running into me that I really think you should get over..." he said teasingly, starting to rub the underside of his jaw where he'd accidentally jabbed himself with his sugar quill.

Jenn watched with wide eyes as the little white fluff ball started rolling away. About to reach for it, she sighed in relief as Kel grabed it before it rolled to far away, and got....well squished....or lost.

She giggled as he sat in front of her, probably thinking about some of the thoughts people were thinking right then. Probably that the two of them were crazy to be sitting in a hallway. "Yeah...I've been telling myself that for awhile now."she said sarcasticaly, rolling her eyes. She did though, need to get out of the habit of, running into him. She eyed him concernly as he rubbed his jaw. "You okay?"she asked, frowning.

Kel shrugged before setting Neige back on his shoulder. "Just choked on my sugar quill..." he muttered, looking down at the candy, which he'd dropped on the floor in his hurry to catch his pygmy puff. "Nice." he muttered, glaring down at the ground. He sighed, picking up the candy and putting it back in the wrapper. He wasn't going to eat it now that it'd been lying on the ground.

"So how are you?" he asked, looking back at Jenn as he set the wasted sugar quill back on the floor. He kept himself from looking up at the other students walking past them, sure that they all thought that he and Jenn were weird - sitting her in the middle of the walkway between compartments, talking.

Tavelon had gotten in line just on time, as a girl who looked roughly his age came towards him. "Hi. Are you a first year? I'm Tavelon, by the way"

Sloane approached the trolley and was unsure what delicious treat to get, pushing her dark hair out of her face she dug into her pocket. "Umm, can I please have 2 sugar quills, a chocolate frog and a box of every flavor beans?"

YUMMY! Chocolate Frogs. He needed to get a stash of them. And keep them away from Fyo and Reese who were addicts and would try to steal them. So he scanned the area nervously as he waited to get his food He had a sudden though: Did Lucy like Chocolate Frogs? Would she ambush him in line?

After storing her luggages in the luggage car, Alice rushed to the food trolly since she was hungry and not eating anything for about morethan 6 hours from the morning. As she approached the trolly she tripped off by something on the floor and ended up to push the back of another person who was standing before her. "Oops..I'm sorry.." she raised her head up, "Torin!" she started laughing now.

And suddenly someone was pushing him forward. He frowned and was about to tell them off when he heard Alice's voice. "You just keep bumping into me. Literally." He smiled weakly and turned to face her. "Hello, Alice. How are you?" And do you have any idea where my best friend is?

She controlled her laugh after much effort, looking at him, "Sorry. It was not my intention. It's just happened" she smiled, "I'm doing great and how about you?" she shifted to his back properly to keep up the line, "Hey, do u have any chocs with you? I dont think I've patience to stand on this line.." she sighed, hands flew to her stomach impatiently.

'Geez, all these people are pushing and shoving for FOOD.' thought Cassarissa. 'Ugh, I guess I'll have to wait then.' Seeing the crowd around the trolley, she anxiously stood there, her hands in her pockets.

He shook his head at her. "Nope, I'm all out. Why I'm getting some. Plus I want to give some to Brody." He raised his brow at her. Why was she asking him when Fyo was her boyfriend? It made no sense to him. And now he was starting to miss Fyo. Even though he wanted the time with Brody, he wanted Fyo time too. But anyway...

"Where's Fyo?"

"Aww.." she leaned back against the wall of the compartment, hand still rubbing on her stomach. Why was the line not moving fast? And why he looked at her like this. Was that anything wrong if a girl asked a chocolate from her friend especially when she was hungry?! She shrugged and kept silent, taking a glance at the trolly again, sighed.

Now he mentioned him. Fyo. Oh...boy. Now I want him and his chocolates "I've not seen him from yesterday evening.." her face went dull.

Ellie was so glad of the food trolley. She held her money bag, which was heavy with the oins her Daddy had given her, although he had told her not to eat too much on the train because of the feast awaiting her at Hogwarts. When she got there, there was a very long queue, so she stood there quietly in her brand new Hogwarts robes hoping people weren't very long. Besides, she was a child, and did not have much patience.

Nikki walked to the trolley, and looked nervously at the line. She hoped it wasn't going to take too long to get food. She was starving!

Plus, she left her cat in the compartment, guarding her stuff. However, she wasn't sure whether her stuff needed guarding from others, or her cat, who she had a sinking feeling would be ripping into her new bag right about now.

She stood at the end of the line, and waited for others to have their turn. All she wanted was a few chocolate frogs, and perhaps a licourice wand...And maybe a pumpkin pastie too. And now that she thought of it, some every flavour beans wouldn't be too bad either....

She still hadn't found Steven which made Nancy rather anxious to be honest. Where was he?! She really needed to talk to him. Or more like she would shove this Aparecium parchment under his nose and inquire when he had been planning to tell her about it. What did he think he was anyway? Although...maybe she should not talk to him about it. Because if he didn't know that she knew she could always bring it up when he complained about something. She could always say, "Yeah, well, and why exactly did you snog Anna last term and did not tell me about it?!" Yes...this was better...

A content and slightly dangerous smirk playing around Nancy's lips she slowly moved over to the Food Trolley. She needed something to eat. Something sweet. Something like Maple Fudge! She wasn't even sure if the Food Trolley lady had something like that. Hopefully she would. Slowly moving to the end of the line which had formed in front of the lady Nancy craned her neck to see if she did in fact have Maple Fudge but unfortunately all she could see were people's heads. Meh...

Figuring that she could have some smalltalk while waiting she nudged a little girl in front of her and with a small smile said, "Hey there. What'll you get?" Yes, she was in a quite happy mood right now, now that she had figured out how to react to the Aparecium thingy. Hehe...

Emma smelled food - she had to eat something soon. But she didn´t know what she could buy here - her parents were Muggles, so no one told her what is wizard world like. She saw a girl before her.

"Umm.. Hi, can you please say me, what can I buy here? I´m new, and I´d like something to snack," Emma said, and smiled.
She saw girl´s clothes - the girl was Gryffindor too! ´Safely she will be nice to me´, she thought.
