He smiled as she laughed. "Well then, you can always teach me about it sometime."He loved learning new things and she could be a good teacher he thought. And she could write again? That meant that she had sorted everything out. "That's great. What happened?" He needed details.

"Of course I could, just let me know when and you better be prepared to absorb a lot of information in a little bit of time." She said with a slight smirk as she brushed some of the brown hair from her eyes, once he asked what happened; she totally froze up and tried not to begin to stutter around him. What exactly was she to say? Oh I've got a crush on you and that's been helping my writing? No that wouldn't work, she eventually figured it out. "Oh, I've sorta got a crush on someone but I'm a little afraid to say anything."

"I'm willing to whenever you want to teach me. Just say, and it's a date!" Well, sorta. Not when he was studying or doing homework of course.

Ooooh. This was getting juicy. "Spill. Who is it?" She always teld him this stuff. Generally.

A date huh? Those words seemed to dance around her head and it was taking all her self control not to blush because then he would probably figure out who her crush was and she didn't want that yet. "Well, how about this weekend at The Three Broomsticks?" she suggested, then finished off her song and set her bass down beside her for the moment.

Okay, she didn't answer his question. That meant she was embarrassed. So it was probably someone that she shouldn't have a crush on on. Probably because they were dating someone. "Yeah, that should be good. At what time?" He had to make sure that he didn't lose track of time with all his studying.

"Umm..how about 2pm Saturday?" She tried not to grin and dance around like a fool but it wasn't exactly easy when she was dancing around on the inside, thank merlin for having a vast amount of self control to keep her from being a complete fool.

He was thoughtful, trying to see if he was busy at that time. "Okay, that's fine." He took out a pen and wrote the date and time on his hand.

"Well, I should get back to the common room; I've got tons of studying to do for the OWLs which I'm not looking forward to. So I'll see you Saturday." She said then got up and headed off towards the stairs to get back to the Slytherin Common Room.

He nodded at her and got up when she did. "Okay, I'll see you then. Later." He gave her a wink and then headed off in the direction of the Great Hall before stopping and turning around again..

"Raven! You forgot your bass."

She stopped in her tracks then immediately then turned around and headed back down the stairs, she took her bass from Torin and smiled. "Oh my bad, thanks for reminding me." she said then brought a hand to her head slightly, with her bass in hand, she headed back up the stairs.

He shook his head at her as she took the instrument from her and then started back towards the stairs. She really seemed distracted. Probably had her crush on the brain. Snorting, he shook his head and continued towards the Great Hall.

Hmmm. What to do?

Xander meandered and wondered through the halls of the castle, trying to look for something to do. He was rather bored for once, and thought of perhaps causing some trouble. Maybe, if he could think of something to do.

As he was running his hand along the stone of the wall, he pondered for a few moments. Ugh, this past week was baaad. First the student he found - cue shudder - and then Ravenclaw lost to Slytherin... Meh. Not so hot. Now he needed something to take his mind off of things, maybe something shiny. Or pretty. Or interesting. Or all of the above, really. Anything could make him feel better at this point in time.

Humming slightly, he continued to walk down the hall, and paused to look out the window.

UGH. Sylvia was so annoyed.

Mainly because she hadn't done as much homework as she wanted to. Slytherin were in second place and that just wasn't good enough. Second place was not winning. Second place means the first losers. Sylvia couldn't cope with that and wanted to be the top point earner.

On the brighter side, Slytherin had beated Ravenclaw at Quidditch. Now, Sylvia hadn't gone to that match but she had heard about it from other Slytherins who seemed rather proud of themselves for being the clever Ravenclaws. Not that clever was it? Losing against Slythies. Mwahaha!

Speaking of Ravenclaws, Sylvia's FAVE Ravvie was in sight. Yipee! Yeey. COUGH. It had been a while since Sylvia had seen Xander and it was definately a nice surprise. And lucky for him, she wasn't in the mood to gloat about the match. "Xanderrrman?" Sylvia sang slightly as she approached him with a sweet smile on her face and her eyes carefully scanning his hair.

An echoing sound of footsteps followed Xander along the hallway. It didn't really bother or phase him, since there were bound to be people around and about the hallways.

It did phase him though, when his nickname was called.

Turning around to look in the direction of the name, Xander's eyes fell on Sylvia and her blonde hair. YAY. Ahem.

"Sylviaaaaa," he said, walking up to her and grabbing her in a hug. "I haven't seen you in for-EV-errrrrr. How are you?"

This was definitely a good thing for him. After seeing that dead body, something this gorgeous was quite welcome.

Just what she needed and missed ... especially hugs from Xander.

"I know." Sylvia sighed, but then got angry and slightly violently hit him on the arm. "Where have you been?! People are getting withdrawl symptoms! You touched so many people, and then you disappear!" She growled, but then softened. "... or atleast, disappeared from my sight."

Now it wasn't the right kind of physical. She was hitting him! What on earth.... WOMEN!

He grabbed his arm and made a face of shock at her for hitting him. "Geez woman," he said, rubbing it slightly. Nah, didn't hurt, so he dropped his hand. "I had gotten sick earlier, and I was getting caught up on my work. And I didn't feel like getting everyone else sick either. I thought I was doing the right thiiing."

Yeah, so he whined a little bit at the last part. But that was okay, since he was going for sympathy here anyway. It would be needed, since he had been sick and all.

"But I'm fine now. Just going around the castle and such, getting back into the action."

Well, he'd called her a woman, rather than girl. Hehe. "Sorry, slight female panic there." She giggled a little and folded her arms. "You were sick? Ugh .. nice." Sylvia did the tiniest step back ever, so hopefully he wouldn't notice, not that she wanted to stay away from him or anything. She just couldn't be ill. No no no.

"Action? What kind of action? Superhero duties?" IDEA! Sylvia really felt like being a sidekick right now. ZOMG AMAZIN'! "And since you are THE Xanderrman, it seems to fit right." Sylvia grinned.

Pepe used a secret passage to get down to the Entrance Hall, early. He couldn't remember the last time he'd gotten lost or hadn't used a secret passage. In fact, he didn't think he'd been through the gargoyle's entrance to his office more than two or three times all term. Fun. He paced the hall, looking around while he waited for Mr. Stryker, Chad, to arrive for his monthly visit. He was always restless this close to the moon.

After being let in by a rather moody Groundskeeper, Chad made his way up and into the Entrance Hall of the school. It was the usual monthly routine: come to the school, give the man his potion, camp outside his office, NOT go in to work after (to Reagan's much dismay), and then wait another fun.

"Ah, Monsieur," Chad smiled, watching the man with interest. "And how are you tonight?"

"The usual and a bit worried. I'll feel better once your colleagues arrive to start their investigation," Pepe said, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet and then leading the way to his office. "And you?"

"Eh," Chad shrugged, starting to walk with Pepe towards the man's office. "Every time we have something fixed, something else just seems to break down. Fixed the werewolf situation...now we have angry ghosts. Unpleasant," he sighed, shaking his head. "Though, granted, my situation does seem to be a bit better than yours." Chad grinned and shrugged his shoulders; he'd be worried too if he worked in a school where children were dying.

"Angry ghosts? Think our ghosts could help you out with that?" he asked as the moved up the stairs and headed for the gargoyle's entrance.

Torin was slowly making his way up the stairs from the entrance hall. He was going to look for Alex because she had told him that she had a present for him that she wanted to have him open in private.

He was sorta banking in her being in hr Common Room which meant that he would have to go all the way up to the 7th floor.

Reese clicked-clacked all the way down the stairs to the entrance hall. She could have promised that every corridor she went through to find Torin Kane, people looked at her weirdly. Maybe it was because she was wearing a pink dress that kind of stuck out? Or maybe it was the shoes the noise made when they hit the stone ground? Whatever reason, people had stared at her as she walked by.

After making it to the entrance hall, she placed one hand on her hip and took some deep breaths to catch her breath after walking down here from the seventh floor. Her brown eyes scanned the room around her and when she spotted the person she had been looking for, she made her way over to him. "Torin Kane," she announced. "I've been looking everywhere for you."

Suddenly he heard Reese's voice. Did this mean that she hadn't actually forgotten his birthday after all? He user hoped so seeing as he had gone all out for her birthday. Okay, so he accidentally gave her some love potion, but these things happen.

He gave the Slytherin a once over. She looked.. nice. But he didn't really get why she was dressed like that seeing as she obviously wasn't doing anything for him. Maybe she just was in the mood to wear some pretty clothes for a change.

"Why have you been looking for me?"
