Stalk, ahem, follow her to the dungeons. Evan looked at her face as he tried to walk with her, but it was hard. At last, his legs won and he watched his steps not to fall over something. He could still listen though, and so did he, rolling his eyes occasionally. "Well, I hate animals." he closed the case, and asked again "Why are you not telling me the guy you like?" pleadingly. Like, srsly. He was no gossipper at all!

Fia had to find Miles. There were some things she needed to tell him as she didn't have the time to tell before. GAH! What was it with being a spy if one couldn't let everyone know what was going on at the proper time? She walked into the entrance hall as she was just about to step outside.

Miles walked down the stairs to head outside into the brisk air outside for a breather. The Castle could sure get stuffy. As he reached the entrance hall landing he saw a familiar figure and slowed his steps. Being careful to walk quietly he walked up behind Fia and put on his best Ivan impersonation, "So Fiona is finally without her little lapdog eh? Decide to trade him in for a newer and more upscale model?" Putting on a cheeky grin he waited for her response careful to stand far enough back in case she thought it was Ivan.

FIA heard that TERRIBLE name and that....that....THAT VOICE! But they were at Hogwarts where Ivan wasn't. She frowned, her eyebrows wrinkled together as she slowly turned around. Her eyes landed on the form of Miles as she glared at him through squinted eyes.

"You better be glad that I like you lots and lots," she said as she tried not to smile. "Or you would be wearing my fist in your stomach." She slowly crept towards Miles to slip her arm around his waist and give him a proper kiss on the cheek.

"Why do you think I stood so far back," he said with a chuckle and grinned as she placed her arm around his waist and kissed him. "But I am glad you like me lots and lots...makes it easier to tease you." Kissing her cheek he looked around, "Where were you heading off to?" Maybe he wouldn't go outside after all.

Why did she had to be a Huffie anyway she should be a Ravie. Then he'd see her more. Maybe they could disguise her as a Ravie and sneak her in. The thought brought a smile to his face and he looked at Fia. "How cool would it be if we were in the same house..." That would just be...awesomeness

Fia leaned her head against his shoulder as she didn't move for a moment. It was just nice to be here with him for a change. "I was actually wondering where you were and looking for you," she said then looked up at him and smiled. "You know I can't stand it when I'm not around you."

She then reached for his hand and began to drag him back into the castle. "Too cold outside. And if we were in the same house then I would just sit in the common room and wait for you to appear. It's bad enough that you are seven floors above me." She rolled her eyes and giggled. "Sooooo...where were you going? I hope not outside." Like she said before..."still too cold out there."

Sabrina walked through the entrance hall, wanting to go for a walk outside, before she stopped short, noticing two of her friends. They were sweet together and at the same time, she knew they could also cause a whole bunch of trouble when they wanted to. Hearing Miles' comment as she walked up behind them she laughed. "That would be awesomeness, but then I'd be more alone than ever since you two would never leave the common room except for classes and meals."

Caden made his way up the stairs from the dungeons into the enterance hall carrying the old leather messenger bag with his art things packed carefully inside. He shifted the bag on his shoulder as he made his way through the busy hall for the doors leading outside.

Miles grinned and wrapped his own arm around Fia as she leaned against his shoulder. "Looking for me? Whatever for?" he asked cheekily as she looked up at him. "Awww. Glad to know you can stand being around me for extended periods of time."

He made to head outside when she grabbed his hand. Well then. No outside for him. "That would work for me."

Just then he heard someone behind him and he laughed, "Yes well sacrifices must be made for the good of the majority," he said teasingly and turned to look at Sabrina. "Of course I rarely leave now except for classes, meals, and general...exploration..." aka mischief. "Where've you been hiding? Find anything good to get into?" He placed his arm around Fia and kept it there while he spoke to Sabrina. She was a good friend. Just not as good as Fia but then again he'd known Fia longer and was now dating her.

Fia heard another voice behind her and turned quickly to find Sabrina. She giggled at her response to Miles. "Hey Sabrina," she greeted the girl happily. At least this was one girl she got along with...well there were several now. "Hey. Why don't you join us today! I was just about to fill Miles in on the latest gossip that's going on in the school. Did either of you know that a Hufflepuff student was...". She lowered her voice and leaned in closer. "They were killed in a secret hiding place down in the dungeons."

Sabrina shook her head and laughed. "Well glad to see I'm in the majority," she said, pretending to sulk. She pouted jokingly as Miles turned around, but his next comment made her laugh again. "This is true... and since you're out now and there is no meal or class in sight, I'm guessing you're out for general "exploration"." Her shoulders shrugged, but her eyes twinkled, noting carefully how his arm stayed around Fia. "I might have. I heard that there was a secret passage way on the fifth floor but I didn't overhear where it lead to."

"Hey Fia," Sabrina replied smiling back at her friend. "Latest gossip?" she asked, intrigued by what this latest gossip could be. There was nothing else on her schedule that she had to do, so hanging out with Miles and Fia would probably be fun. When Fia lowered her voice, she moved in closer, so she wouldn't miss the news. "Really?" she whispered, in slight disbelief, although considering Fia was a Hufflepuff, it was probably true. "By who?"

Miles looked at Fia curiously as she spoke to Sabrina, "Gossip? We've got gossip?" He' wasn't really much for gossip but...Gasp...a murder...? Inspector Miles on the case!!! "Wait there's a secret hiding place in the dungeons?" Oh they had to find it! They had to. If they didn't well...he just might die. Okay well maybe not but it was worth a shot. "How could anyone get away with that..wouldn't someone notice a student missing?" This had impossible written all over it but it made for a good story. "We should go find the hiding place!" he said to both girls.

"We can find the hiding place...and discover what happened...and we'll be heroes...and..." Frowning slightly he turned toward Fia, "When did you hear about this?" Surely someone else had to have heard first.

Fia rubbed her hands together as both Sabrina andddd Miles were interested now, but Miles began to run off, ninety to nothing and stopped short. She rolled her eyes and smirked at him. "After you stormed off from the party," she said as she crossed her arms to her chest and stared at him. She knew he was about to say one of two things...but that could wait.

"Now don't get too excited," she said stopping Miles from going on his investigation ways...that were TOTALLY FUN. "I've been informed that the secret passageway let no where but, it has been closed off. Apparently Moaning Myrtle said that Jake Upstead killed the boy. When she said that at the party, he took off running and LouAnn took off running after him.

"But...how can Jake...why didn't anyone do anything about...well, apparently Professor Lawson was protecting the body from anyone noticing it while it was in the hospital wing." Wow this was long but...yes...very interesting.

A murder in the castle was definitely gossip, and Sabrina was never one to turn down gossip. When Miles started talking nonstop, she grinned. A secret passsage way did sound cool and even she wanted to go explore it! It was always adventurous to go exploring when Miles was set on doing something. She wasn't going to ask about the party though, that one the two love birds could solve by themselves. Hopefully when she wasn't around.

"Well that's no fun if they've been closed off," Sabrina said, frowning at the news Fia told them. It would've meant at least one afternoon of fun if the passageway had been open still. "Every passage has to lead somewhere. Otherwise what's the point in having it?" That was the motto she'd grown up with, and so far it hadn't been proven false.

"Why did he kill him though?" she asked, fully interested and curious. No one killed for no reason. "What else did you hear?" Even if they couldn't solve it, like Miles wanted too (which she thought would be cool), it was too intriguing a mystery to stop with just those facts.

So far...so good.

He had a feeling that those two Slytherins were still following, but he wasn't entirely sure. He wished they wouldn't....it would have be wise on their part. He still had a hand on LouAnn's shoulder, looking around every now and then to keep an eye on the surroundings. They were a safe distance away...but it was too early to run.

"Easy now," he whispered every now and then, holding her wand hidden in his sleeve. He hoped he would have a chance to pass it to her before she went into the forest. He would be fine without it when he would go to retrieve her.

What felt like a mere five seconds later, LouAnn and Mr. Masterson arrived at the entrance hall...the place where, LouAnn assumed, she'd make a mad dash rush to the Forbidden Forest, of all places. She had to really, really trust the groundskeeper on this one for her to go there with no wand. Either that, or she was literally quite insane.

Almost as if on cue, when he said 'Easy now,' LouAnn stumbled over her own two feet, quickly regaining her balance before reaching the ground, of course. "Sorry," she mumbled. She just couldn't help it. A, she was a wanted person and had no idea why, and B, her friends seemed to be tracking her like wolves or something.

Evelyn, making sure Destiny was behind her, (or anywhere close that is, she did run rather quickly to catch up), peaked around the corner to the Entrance Hall. Her gaze landed right on the Groundskeeper and then to a stumbling LouAnn. 'Hopefully she stumbles all the time.' she thought, taking a step into the hall and walking behind the very few other people to blend in. 'Would make for an easier capture...umm...'talk'.'

"Still there?" she whispered behind her, waiting to hear Destiny respond, but she didn't look to see if the other girl was there. Evelyn was too focused on LouAnn, keeping her wand safe and secure in her sleeve in case she needed it, which was probably a definite yes and possibly soon, though she wasn't sure. Something was still bugging Evelyn in the back of her mind, like something was out of place in this picture, but she continued to ignore it, just wanting to focus on the task at hand first.

Rafe was right at LouAnn's side and didn't keep his eyes off her. He tried to help her when she stumbled, but she quickly regained herself. He had his arm around her waist for a moment and then quickly retracted it. "Sorry," he seemed to say at the same time she did, "HaHa, jinks, jeers, you owe me a butterbeer!" Rafe forced a laugh.

Rafe had a feeling that they weren't necessarily going to the pumpkin patch, but he went ahead to play along. "You got to love those pumpkins!" Rafe asserted. "You can make so many things with pumpkins...there's Pumpkin Pie...Pumpkin Juice...Pumpkin Raisin Muffins...Spicy Pumpkin Cookies...Pumkin Cheesecake...Pumpkin Pancakes...Pumpkin Soup...Pumpkin Fudge...Pumpkin Ice Cream...Pumpkin Frappe...Pumpkin Marmalade...Pumpkin Pudding...Pumpkin Roll..." Rafe sighed. "Well, that's all I can think of from the top of my head." Rafe laughed. He tried to make the atmosphere lighter, but he was all knotted up inside. He was so worry for LouAnn's safety.

At least they had caught up to the 'runaways' and did not lose them. 'Yep, still here.' Destiny whispered back to Evelyn. She was thanking Merlin that she decided to wear sneakers with her costume, it made it so much easier to run. She held her wand close to her chest, juuust in case she needed it, but she hoped she wouldn't.

Deep down, Destiny thought Masterson was taking LouAnn to Kazi. This made it so much more difficult. Perhaps the groundskeepers was in on whatever was going on? Even the killing? Destiny didn't want to think about that. Why would he help her escape?
Destiny felt like she was in one of them spy muggle television shows that she told Evelyn about in Study Hall. She knew now she would never, ever watch that box again. 'So do we just wait or what?' Destiny was out of ideas.

"It's okay," he reassured her just as quietly, leaving his hand on her shoulder as Rafe helped steady her. He looked around, his eyes pausing on each face in the area to spot if more students had seemed to have gained attention. Hmm, no one else.

"Okay, let's go outside...Mr. Lycaon and Miss Allister, stay close. I know we're being followed...wands ready, but hidden, and stay wary. Okay...let's go."

Rafe just smiled and acted like he had not a care in the world. He could hear the girls chattering around the corner. Luckily, being what he was, his sense were heightened and he could hear about 16 times sharper than a normal human. He didn't know if he should bring it up, but it could be useful if they were to try and escape.

Rafe spoke out of the corner of his lips, trying to move them and in a low whisper, "Two by the sound of it sir, I think it's the girls from the library." Rafe continued to smile and continued to look around as if admiring the entrance hall and all it glory. Imagining all the great witches and wizards that had walked through its doors. Rafe casually put his arm at his side and into his robe pocket and slid it up his sleeve as if nothing had happened.

He turned to Mr. Masterson, "So what's the plan sir?" he asked again without moving his lips, but with a goofy grin on his face.

Why was this so difficult? Destiny just wanted house points! But here she was, stalking these people, who were about to make a run for it!
When Rafe started to look around, Destiny dropped on one knee, pulling Evelyn down with her, to 'tie their shoes.' 'Do you think they know we are here?' she whispered. Hopefully they don't. She still had a perfect view of them annnnd they could be in perfect range to hit them with a spell. But then, what would happen after that? What, Destiny knew like two spells? 'Maybe Evelyn knows more.' Destiny did know a good cleaning spell, so much that is doing right now.

Evelyn had to cover her gasp when she was suddenly pulled down. "What are you doing?" she asked, her focus slipping slightly, but seeing what Destiny was doing and hearing what she said, she looked around to the others, suddenly seeing Rafe look around the room. They knew they were there didn't they...Or at least someone did.

"Think so." Evelyn sighed, almost in defeat. She stared at Rafe. Something was up with him, that little voice tugging at the back of her head. He seemed...weird...and this situation still didn't feel right. 'Me and my messed up weirdness...' she thought, shaking her head."You good at running and aiming at the same time?" she whispered to Destiny, tying her shoes tighter and keeping her eyes on the others. They were leaving and they needed to catch up.

Fia reached for her wand and slipped it inside her sleeve. If there was one thing she knew, it was the fact that NO ONE was getting her wand and SHE was here to protect LouAnn for whatever cost....well, she was not going to pull a JAKE so to speak. Ohhhhh why did Miles have to leave that party? Now was the very time she wanted him here, she needed her best friend. Oooohhhh that....evil Brody!

When Mr. Masterson gave the signal, she moved with them, still not completely understanding where exactly they were going. Pumpkin patch could have been just a simple cover up, but they were heading outside, that was for sure.

Running and aiming? It couldn't be that difficult right? 'I think I can do it..'
Why was it only Destiny and Evelyn here? It's two against, like a whole army! Destiny finished tightening her shoelaces and slowly stood up, making sure no one was actually looking at them. Moving closer, still holding her wand still tightly against her chest, she waited to see where the group was headed.
Could they get expelled for this??
