Professor Kazimeriz slowly shuffled into the corridor, a bit surprised to find a bit of a crowd outside his door. "Merlin in a velvet smoking jacket! Is there a particular reason for the crowd? No matter; no matter. You might as well all come in at once. We shall make it tea and conversation, quite the party." he said, waving the door open and walking inside.

ooc: if You've been waiting at his door up to this point, you may feel free to follow him in and be seated.

Still simply assuming that Professor Kazimeriz's wanting to see her was just an innocent request to view her runes, LouAnn Purple entered the dungeon corridor and came to a stop just outside the professor's office door. She released her hold on Jake's hand and stopped to read a message displayed on a desk. Hmm...she supposed that note applied to neither she nor Jake's presence, so instead of writing a message to the professor, she stepped forward and knocked softly on his office door. With that done, she turned back towards Jake and gave him a rather sympathetic look. Apparently he was also here for some sort of trouble he'd managed to get himself into.

Abby sees LouAnn knock on the door. "I think we can just go in. Professor Kazimeriz is waiting for us." Abby opens the door and walks in.

As the door began to swng closed behind Abby, Jake took a deep breath and tried to settle his rampaging heartbeat that had sped up ever since he learnt that Kazi wanted him... and that Lawson was there.

No matter that they wanted to see the stones (which was scary enough), Jake was petrified that he was going to be... expelled or something for pulling his wand on a teacher.

Gulp.

Lawson punishing him would have been soooooo much better than Kaz. But... maybe he'd be lucky.

Casting a look towards LouAnn, Jake entered the office without another word, startled at how busy it seemed to be.

Well... at least there were witnesses...

"Hey! Hold the doo-" Helios came bounding down into the dungeons a few seconds late, something under his robes sounding like clanging kettles. He had been avoiding coming here for a while, but decided it was time to man up, and try to get that curse lifted.

Nearly running into the door, he slapped a hand against the solid wood to stop himself. "Oh bother.." With his hand against the door, the prince wondered what in Zeus' name he was doing here. Every time he got near Kaz something bad happend. The girl better be worth the trouble.

Of course she was.

Kazimeriz's door was left ajar as first Mrs. Wright entered, then Rafe carrying a choking, cyanotic Theo Newtington burst in. The door is still ajar, and there is quite a bit of chaos going on in the professor's office.

ooc: If you've posted already in this corridor, your character has access to enter the office if he/she feels they should/would do so. The door is currently partly open, so it is possible to see there are three professors and several students inside.

Helios paused, ready to turn on his heels, and get the Hades out of there. The prince sighed, a sign of his resignation. "..hello?" His breath seemed to blow the door open. There was no time for hesitation, as he took a deep breath, cracking the door open wide enough to permit his entry...

Bella walked down the corridor and read the sign on the door. Hmmm....She knocked twice and waited. Proffesor Lawson had told her to come here to ask about a certain duel with...who wa it? Proffesor Truebridge?. She was very excited about it, Proffesor Lawson had made it sound like something she should know because it was so exciting! She smiled to herselfe as she waited, hoping Proffesor Kazimeriz was there.

Plymouth Super Sleuth Morgan crept up to Professor Kazimeriz's office.

He noted a first year Slytherin, but after putting his finger to his lips to SHHHHH her (she had that chatter look to her) he was sure she'd be good. Plymouth pushed towards the cracked door and LISTENED -

Something about St. Mungo's. Someone was going to Mungo's. Then someone new was coming? Something? HMMMM.

Plymouth poked his nose in the door. This hallway STUNK and so did Kazi's office. What was he GROWING down here anyway? Feet? Sweat man feet or something?

Anyway, Plymouth didn't want to get caught in his first spy mission, so he backed out slowly. To the kitchens for Treubz's brunch Plymouth!

With his hands in his pockets, Jake ambled down to the old man's office, taking his sweet time in getting there. Finally... FINALLY he would be doing one of these year olf detentions. Yup.

Finally.

Knocking on the door five times in rapid succession, Jake leaned against a wall and wondered. Would his Hogwarts career REALLY be taken up with detentions and all sorts of extra tutoring and whatnot?

Hmmm.

Bella was quiet as she watched the boy listen in. Oh! They door was slightly open. Ah well, she'd just wait until he was free. She silently tuted as the boy backed away and shool her head. Some people...

Kylie knocked swiftly on the door, loud enough where one would hear, but quickly too. She thought she'd heard speaking.. but she wasn't sure. She stood outside waiting to ask why there hadn't been any potions classes yet--she almost began to whistle just from old habit but caught herself quickly after she'd began. She looked down at her shoes and moved her toes around awkwardly on the floor drawing various simplistic shapes.

Kazimeriz stomp-shuffled back up into his corridor, making no special effort to see if Upstead was following him or not. Honestly, he did not care if the boy was... The headmaster had started them down one path and then unloaded the management of the boy with him, and was planning to cut him out of the discussion where Bunbury was involved. It would not suit. At this point, the Upstead boy had better have some information for him, because by Merlin if he had to waste another afternoon forcing the incorrigible boy to be still, by Voldemort there would be hell to pay.

He glowered at the students who were waiting outside his office. "I will be right with you. Please wait until I call you into the office, and then you may enter." he said.

ooc: Sorry for the delay; I'll be right with you.

Krissy paced back and forth in front of the office door mumbling to herself. It was time for her to speak to the potions master. This curse was absurd! "risking me people in order to teach us a lesson about wandering a corridor..." She shook her head. Getting steamed wouldn't help her case. Her one and only goal was to be able to stand within four feet of her betrothed. No matter how much she had to grovel to the ancient professor.

With his footsteps echoing down the corridor to herald his arrival, the prince of the sun was singleminded in his determination to speak with the potions professor. So much so, that he nearly neglected to notice the girl pacing outside his door. His feet wanted to turn and run, but the sight to his sore eyes kept him rooted in place.

"..Krissy?"

Helios tilted his head slightly, looking a bit nervous, despite known for being nervy, or having nerves of steel, and whatever other things you could say about his nerves.

Upon hearing her name Krissy nearly cried. It had been far too long since she had heard her beloved speak her name. Taking two large steps back she distanced herself as much as possible. "careful, not too close." She whispered her pale face draining of any color, there was pain, but it was minor. She wanted to run and hug him, but this damn curse kept her several feet away from him. The closer he got, the more it physically hurt her. "How are you love?" She whispered.

"Better now." There was a red tinge in his tanned cheeks, that oh so rare smile tugging at the edges of his lips. With a wince, Helios was reminded of his own pain. It had not been long since he released himself from the hospital ward. "Have you been staying out of trouble? I haven't.." Mischevious to the end, the troublesome Greek put a hand on his aching ribs.

Krissy nodded. "I heard of your troubles. Yeh aren't trying to get yerself killed to get out of the wedding are yeh?" she gave a half smile. "Yeh know Kaz has already insured that for yeh anyhow." She whispered pain filling her voice.
"I've been behaved, though our people are having problems. They think we've gone back on our promise...there are rumors." She trailed off. This wasn't something she wanted to speak about the first time seeing her beloved in so long... "Do yeh still love me Helios?" she blurted out emotion reading all over her face.

There was a pain worse than the cracks in his ribs, and it made him lash out. "What sort of question is that!?" Helios snapped at the one girl he cared to care about.

"...of course I do." His voice came out tamed, his eyes fixed on the floor as he ran a hand across his mane of golden hair. The young man hated being cooped up in Hogwarts for the majority of the year, she was the only thing that kept him from running off into the forest like some sort of animal.

Tears streamed down Krissy's face. "I'm sorry it's jest..." she didn't know what or how to say what she was feeling. "It's jest I was worried yeh had forgotten me. That yeh had moved on..." She shook her head and wiped her tears away. "Oh Helios, this is so hard! We're already supposed to be married and I can't even touch yeh! What if Kaz never lifts this curse? It's been nearly a year." She was pacing again trying to stay mindful of her distance from Helios.

"Compose yourself, love." Helios was a prince, but was hardly charming. "He can be a cruel, old man, but I sincerely doubt he would keep us this way after graduation. I am sure there has to be some sort of law in this muggle loving country that would forbid him from doing such a thing." He tried to reassure himself, not sounding very confident.

"Everything will be alright in the end. I promise." Speaking with conviction now, he put a hand over his heart as he looked at Krissy from across the corridor.

Krissy stopped her pacing and squared her shoulders. "Aye, yeh are right. I don't think he is that cruel... I've come to try and reason with him today. I believe I may be able to convince him to lift the curse." she took a deep breath and soldiered on. "I'm rather glad we have run into one another... well other than for the obvious reasons. We need to talk." she smoothed her skirt and looked to the floor. "Me people think yeh have run off on me and broken the contract. There is talk of war... Me grandfather says the Greeks are thinking the same of me and preparing to attack. No matter how often I try they don't believe a professor would commit such a curse against students." She rushed as her eyes met her prince's cloudy eyes. "If I can get Professor Kazimirez to lift this curse I think we should go to Hogsmede as soon as possible and make our union legal. I may be able to get Kayla to help." she trailed off. Never had she been so forward but this was a matter of civil unrest.

Helios cringed at the mention of Kayla, but even the thought of that troublesome girl couldn't wash away the idea of war that played in his head. "If the pantheon goes to war, it won't just be against your people. Hogwarts, the ministry, even all the magicless muggles in London..it all burns." The war drums of Ares had once beat in his heart, but the girl before made him march to a different tune.

"If we do wed in Hogsmeade, we must return here. Though I wish to be rid of this place, there is evil afoot, and I have sworn to see it driven to the dark depths from which it crawled. Or die trying." There was no arguing with him. Helios had been such a nuisance to the wizards and witches of Hogwarts, he would not leave as anything but a valiant hero.

Krissy nodded solemnly. " I agree completely. Me people will not win in a fight against yers. All the more reason for us to take away any provocation." she sighed, how unromantic this conversation was. Nothing like a little war and her fiance's ex girlfriend to help a wedding right along. "We shall return. I need to finish me classes in order to take full control of the village. I'll not have an uneducated husband." she smiled at the word. " So I suppose we are completely backwards my dear prince..." She took a knee giggling "If this curse can be lifted, will yeh marry me as soon as we can get to hogsmede? That is if this proposal doesn't bruise yer male ego too much." She smiled her first genuine smile in nearly a year. She loved this young man and would do anything to make him hers.
