Reagan smiled a signature thin smile, an almost apologetic smile it was. She looked over the numbers, and nodded.

"Well see, you don't have to look at Arithmancy like Math, because it isn't really. More of a form of Divination really. So which section is your homework then, deductions, or theory?"

She poured over the textbook, nodding in agreement now and then. This teacher seemed perfectly competent, so she had to assume the boy was not.

Mina smiled up at her friend, Alice. "Hey Alice. I have D.A.D.A later, but I'm working on my Arithmancy right now." She smiled and glanced down at her journal. "I'm actually working ahead a little right now," she glanced back up at Alice. "I'm very excited for Muggle Studies though. It should be fun and I'm sure I'll have to come to you for help," she added. Mina knew very little about most muggle things. "You'll be my expert on all things muggles."

Going back to finish another section of journal, Mina smiled and placed everything in her bag. "So, how's Hogwarts treating you so far?"

Blake drag his chair a little closer to hers and chewed the end of his already battered quill, "Oh..I don't know. I don't pay attention you know, can you find it yourself if it's deduction or theory? We're doing Transit Cycles." He hissed, gazing right into the girl's eyes.

Oh me gosh, she's so cute when teaching. He rested his chin on the table and smiled faintly, "What's you name, sugar?" Sugar?? Ohhooo, that was corny, hella corny.

"Transit cycles. Okay, that's chapter twenty three," she said, flipping to the right page. "To summerize, they predict what's going to happen to you personally in the next year or so."

She paused when he asked her name, and then called her sugar. She arched an eyebrow but replied, "Reagan Bryne, and I'll need to know yours, since Transit numbers are derivitives."

Predict the future, eh? "Duh! I know my future, I can see myself smacking the lips of a verrry pretty blonde girl." He said cheekily and pointed at Reagan, "Oh lookie, you're blonde too." His mouth formed a perfect O as he winked at her.

So her name was Reagan, that was a rare name, "The name's Blake Wright, pretty girls can call me Blakey you know." He smirked. How awesome it would be if Reagan agreed to be his full-time tutor, "Forget Arithmancy, what's your house?" He said, shutting the book gently.

Reagan had been, it appeared, correct about this boy. Impudent and flirty. Why were all the cute boys so annoying? She rolled her eyes. "What an incredible observation, did you figure that out on your own?" She asked innocently when he noted her hair color.

She cringed when he shut the book, as if it was painful. He wasn't going to learn a thing if it was shut! "I'm a Hufflepuff. Hence the black and yellow tie."

K wanled in for she was to meet her boyfriend Damon so she could get help with her Arithmancy homework She would also take help from anyone who offerd for she really needed the help. She did really want to see Damon though for she missed him a ton.

Damon walked into the library. Even though he had turned in his aritmancy homework aleady he thought he would do some more studying from the textbook in the peace and quiet of the library. However sitting at one of the tables was his closest friend. Damon walked over to her table and sat down next to her. "Hello" he said "What seems to be troubling you" he saw that she had her book laid out in front of her.

"Damon!!! I'm trying to figure out about what physical transit sepecilficaally reveal and then how to do the math for caculating my transit I have such a long first name I don't know the values." K was very stressed out and worrying becuase she wanted to do well to get house points. "Is the value the numbers in chapter one?"

Damon listened to her generous request. It was good to see her again. "Well Do you have any possible idea what it could be so far. Do you have any theories" he said sweetly.

K came back up here to her boyfriend she just went to ask the professor for help and directing for that was the best person to ask the next of course was Damon well I figured this out so far for my first name- K=2 A=1 P=7 L=3 I=9 N=5 S=1 K=2 I=9 what do I do from there I know I am 11 almost 12 I know it has something to do with years. K really wanted to get this done and out of the way for she didn't want to wait 2 weeks for she would have other homework to do as well. k then figured it out on her own from looking at the lesson she didn't need help anymore and went back to her common room.

Damon continued to study as much as he could he felt he had aced his homework. He hoped it may have done some good. He watched as K walked out of the room and hoped she would do well. He left the library quietly.

"But..but..is there any easiest way to study besides referring to this printed book?" Alice's question came out of nowhere. She got bored of flipping this thing everytime to take a glance. Time waste. Hehe.

"Umm..how, Torin? It sounds like divination. Why did they add this lesson to Arithmancy?" questions started flowing out from her silly brain.

He frowned at her. "All the info you need is in that book, Alice. And this is how I teach you." If she didn't like it she could always go to Fyo. He wouldn't stop her. This girl just needed to suck it up and read the book. "I know it's boring reading the book but you have to do it. And you're going to have to read lots of books next Year for OWLs." He hoped he wasn't being too harsh with her now. But it was the truth.

"Arithmancy is sorta like Divination. It tells you about your future as well as who you are as a person." Did she not know this already?

Miles walked through the library whistling quietly to himself with a random book under his arm that he pulled off the shelf and a pocket full of chocolate, he loved his mum, when he heard some people talking. Peering around the corner of the bookshelf he spotted a few Huffies chatting over what seemed to be the homework assignment from Arithmancy that he had finished right after he'd gotten it. Popping a piece of chocolate in his mouth he walked over with a grin and sat himself with them, "Hiya folks."

He was about to continue on with the lesson when suddenly he saw a boy join them from the corner of his eye.

He turned to look at the guy properly and saw that he was no one that he had seen before. Which led to his first thought of: wth are you?

But he didn't want to be rude. So he just smiled and said, "hello."

The guy did seem nice enough after all.

Miles smiled and set his book on the table catching the title...Something about dragons..interesting...he really hadn't a clue what he had grabbed as he walked by.

"I kind of overheard you guys and as I've finished this already thought I could help a bit...if that's alright...otherwise I'll just read about..uh...dragons," he chuckled slightly and popped another piece of chocolate in his mouth. "Oh...I'm Miles by the way. Pleasure to meet you both."

Okay, so things made more sense now. And it might be good to have another person helping. Alice needed to read the book or he was leaving. Maybe this kid could take over for him if needed.

"Nice to meet you, Miles. I'm Torin. And you can help all you want."

Satine hurried to a little table in the corner. She had heard that the yearbooks from previous terms were stored here and she wanted to do some investigating of previous terms. She quickly spread out her items and took her chinchilla, Gemma, out of her bag and let the chinchilla crawl onto her shoulder as she headed towards the shelves.

She grabbed the most recent three yearbooks and headed back to the table. She set the yearbook down and pulled out a piece of parchment and her favorite purple quill and began making notes about some of the students she had crossed paths with.

She was a mission....a very important mission....and she was set on figuring out how to achieve what she wanted.

Mmmm. Alice looked at him and noticed his frown. "I know, but see, you can teach this with atleast a smile on your face. I asked you b'cuz I thought you might know a different way of teaching. I'm sorry if disturbed or frustrated you." she said thoughtfully and looked down at the textbook. She needed to improve on this subject, atleast for everyone's benefit.


Alice's head raised up to a new voice. Completely a new one. With Blue and Silver robes on. Mmm. "Hi!" she acknowledged the boy with a small smile.

Miles smiled and nodded as Torin introduced himself, "Nice to meet you too, Torin."

He grinned and turned to look at the girl as she looked up finally. "Hi." Smiling he leaned toward her to look at what she was looking at, "I'm Miles...you need some help?" He glanced at Torin and could tell he wasn't having any fun with it for whatever reason...this stuff was easy. "I can help if you want..."

Fallon sighed as she walked into the library. She loved going to the library, but not to do homework; especially homework she didn't understand. She walked over to a table and put her new bag onto the table. She began to pull things out her bag. She grabbed a muffin she had put in there during breakfast and hurriedly put it back into her bag, not wanting to get yelled at by the librarian.

After Fallon got everything out that she would need, she opened her Aritmancy book to Chapter 28 and stared at the page in total confusion. She looked around the library at everyone who was there working. Fallon let out a sigh and began to re-read the text, for probably the fourth time.

Ohmegoosh! Reagan sounded just like disister, bwahah "You know what? It really suits you..I mean being snarky and all." wink.wink.

She was a puffie huffie? Great! It's Blakey's favorite house and he too wanted to be one of them but the stooopid sorting hat dumped him in Slytherin which he doesn't mind now, "Oh my bad, didn't notice it. I was too busy looking at your pretty face." With that said, Blake clambered the table and sat right on top of his Arithmancy textbook so that Reagan wouldn't open it again, mwahaa.

Lyra entered the Library with a deep sigh and walked straight towards The Corner. Even though Lyra loved the library very much she wasn't very pleased to be here today. The second year couldn't delay her homework anymore and so was forced to study. And because the study tables in the Slytherin common room had been a bit crowdy she had walked towards the library, hoping to find a table for her own.

Looking around , Lyra saw that a few other students were present including Satine , a ravenclaw she had met last year at the lake. Fallon a girl who she became jealous with everytime she saw her with Evan and........Blake...
oh boy.

Lyra's mind went back to the dueling arena and how she had stupified Blake when he had scared her. It had been his own fault but Lyra still felt guilty about it....just slightly though. And she wondered if he would be angry with her.
Walking silently passed him and a girl he was talking to, Lyra sat down on a chair by a empty table in the corner. Lazily she placed her bag on the table and pulled out her Arithmancy book, a piece of parchment , a quill and a bottle of black ink. She closed her bag and placed it beside her on the ground. Lyra opened the parchment and rolled it flat out. Then she grabbed her Arithmancy book and opened up at chapter 28 and looked at the text.
But no matter how many times she had read the text, the information just didn't get through and soon Lyra was gazing at the book not knowing what to do. She sighed deeply again and grabbed her parchment and started to doodle some art on it with her quill.

"Oh, right, I'm sorry," he replied to her first comment adopting a smile again. He could try to be a bit more cheerful and not so serious. "I see. Well, I usually just study my way. It might seem boring but all the answers and formulas are in the book." He was probably sounding like a huge nerd now. But whatever. "And I'm not bothered in any way," he added to reassure her.

He then turned his attention back to Miles. "Nice to meet you too," he replied with the smile still on his face. "So we can get started if you want. Alice needs to know how to figure out her Physical Transit now." He was assuming that this boy had done his homework already. Or at least knew how to do this seeing as he was offering to help.
