He snorted at her. She was so cute when she was threatening him. And he wasn't really all that ticklish, so she couldn't really get him too good. So he decided to keep being secretive. "I dunno if you can handle it."

"You have no idea. I think there were two fights where we were sure our friendship was over." But even when he had thought that it was over there was always a part of him that knew it wasn't true. That was why he never was overly upset when he fought with her. Well, besides the anger of course. "Nope, she isn't. Just you, Tammy, Reese and Jack." At least she knew Jack. He thought. She at least knew that some of his clothes were awful.

Oops. He shouldn't have said that. "Well, Brody sorta had a rough exterior. You don't. I mean, Reese hates Brody but she likes you." Maybe he should change the topic now..

"I got something for you."

Alex snorted a little. "Oh I can handle the truth!" She said as her hands descended and she started to tickle him.. "Tell me Torin Kane, or I shall use my magical powers and lure it out of you!" She giggled.

Alex shook her head, "Merlin! I have never fought with a friend that like! You two must really like each other to want to make it work!" She meant that in a platonic way of course. "Well that should be a fun little trip, I am looking forward to spending more time with Reese." She didn't mention it, but she felt like a bit of a fifth wheel. Torin was going to be spending some time with Tammy, and Reese with Jack. She almost felt like she should back out.. Almost.. "It should be fun!" She said with a grin.

Alex shook her head, "Yes, I don't think rough describes me in any way." She said with a shake of her head.

"You have something for me?" Alex queried. "What?" She asked smiling.

He barely even laughed as she started to tickle him. She wasn't going to get it out of him that easily. "I'd like to see you try that."

He nodded. "We do. We're like siblings at this point." She was the annoying sister after Dani. Cammy was his only sister who wasn't annoyed at least occasionally. And he was glad that she was eager for the trip. He was too. "Yeah, I'm so glad you can come. It wouldn't be the same without you." That was so true. "Yeah, you're too sweet to be rough," he agreed.

He pulled out the box with her gift. "Tada!"

Keeley looked up distractedly, spotting Mina. "Hi Mina, I'm working on Astronomy. It's so hard for me. And you?" she whispered back, looking at Mina's pile of notes and books. "Want some help?"

Mina nodded as she moved to close a book. "A little of everything at the moment," she laughed very softly. "Haven't even started on Astronomy yet. I like stars but I don't think that class has yet to teach me anything."

Alex looked at him. "You would like to see me do that? Well I could, soo easily. I could just look at you, and suddenly you would feel like revealing all your secrets to me." She said with a smile. "Don't tempt me, I will do it." She said softly.

"Well you gotta love siblings, I have 6 of them, so I know exactly how that feels." She said in a slightly sarcastic tone. She loved all of her brothers and her twin, but she fought with them all. It was just the nature of siblings. "When do you think we will be back? Josh owled me, and he wants to know." She asked him, not to mention she had to give Damon exact dates of when to come over to her house. "You are too busy this summer to come visit my family right?" She asked him.

Her mouth went wide as she saw the gift in his hand.. "Ohh Torin.." She sighed softly as she saw the locket. It was beautiful. She loved it. "Ohh myy, this is so great." She said softly, as she could feel tears coming to her eyes.

Okay, so he was starting to think hat she might actually do that. And he wasn't sure how he would feel about it. Maybe he would tell her then because he didn't want to accidentally tell her more than he would want her to know. "Okay, well... being under a Veela's charms is rather tempting but.. I think I'll pass on it."

He chuckled at the hint of sarcasm in her voice. He could so relate to her even if he had a lot less than she did. "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a brother." Maybe they would get along. Or they could fight like mad. When do they get back? "Maybe around mid-July. Not too sure yet. And of course I can make time to visit."

And he made her teary again. But it was a good thing. He just never usually made a girl cry before now. "You like it? I got it with the money JAck gave me."

Alex smiled a little at Torin, "Okay, then if you don't want to be under my charms, you should tell me." Alex said grinning, he was passing up a rare opportunity being charmed by a Veela did not happen often, especially if she could control it. Oh well.

"Well I have five brothers, I know exactly what they are like, so.." She said rolling her eyes a little. "But then again, they are all super protective of me, so they liked to be a bit overbearing." She giggled a little.

"Mid July, okay I shall tell him that." She said nodding, and she would tell Damon, he could probably come to visit around the end of July. "Really? Great! How about near the end of August? Does that sound good?" She asked him with a smile.

"Of course I love it! It is amazing.. I've never been given anything this beautiful before." She said softly. Tears still pooling in her eyes.

She had to say that didn't she? "Well, now that I think about it.. I sorta would like to be under your charms." OOOH. He could be under the power of a Veela... it was starting to make her maybe finding out more than he wanted her to not seem so bad.

"Wanna trade one of your brothers for my twin sister?" Okay, he was joking. Sorta. But she would know that because there was no way that he would ever want to trade Dani for anyone. She and him had a special bond.

"End of August? That sounds good!" He liked the thought of that. But it also meant something else... "I'm going to be a Sixth Year next Term. That means I'll only have 2 years left here!" He hadn't really thought much about that since he had just wanted to finish with he OWLs. But now... it was making him a bit sad.

I'm glad you love it. But I can't believe you never gotten anything like that before. And there is a picture inside too." He smiled and then motioned that he wanted to put it on her.

Fyo gave LouAnn a polite smile. "That's good, then," he said. Not the two Potions assignments, of course, but the fact that she could tackle Arithmancy on her own. Which reminded him that he had to do Potions, too. "If you need any help with anything else, lemme know."

With a nod, he returned to his books.

"Thanks, Fyo, although, I think I'm actually going to head back to the common room now. I'm pretty tired," she admitted. There was only so much homework and studying LouAnn could do, and she'd pretty much reached the point where she just needed to stop for a while. She shut her book then quickly gathered her materials, tossing them carelessly into her bag as she stood from her chair. The school year was nearly over, and LouAnn's mind was mainly focused on summer break anyway. She gave Fyo an appreciative smile then quietly slid out the room. She didn't want to disturb anyone, of course.

Alex giggled a little. "Under my charms huh? You really want to experience that? It could go to your head." She said softly, not pressing the issue of him telling her what he wanted to anymore. Besides, she had a new power, and she sorta wanted to try it out on him. Her sister had written to her last week about it. Hmmm..

"Hmm, sure. I would love to do that actually!" She responded teasingly, as she poked him. "We could trade twin sisters, but then again it might be odd for you to have a spitting image of me, as your sister." She stuck her tongue out and grinned.

"Good! I am glad that sounds good, then we could just head right over to diagon alley from my house." She said with a grin, but her smile faded a bit. That was right, he was a year ahead of her. So was Damon.. That meant.. She closed her eyes and refused to think anymore about that.

"No I really haven't gotten anything like it at all.. Thanks so much." She said as she opened it to see the picture.. It is so great." She said smiling up at him.

He smiled at her. "Well, I'm already under your charms, so.." He waited for her to do her magic on him. He had told her that he wanted it. Then he could say that he had been under the power of a Veela.

He laughed and poked her back. "Yeah, I'll pass on that. It will be weird. And what if I mistake her for you?" He didn't want to imagine mixing up his 'sister' and girlfriend. That might get weird.

"Yeah, that sounds great! And we can go for ice cream while we're there. I love ice cream." Talking about it made him want some now. But he was comfy and lazy sitting here. But then he was also really hungry.. "Now I want ice cream."

"There is no need to thank me. I did it for you." He shrugged. She was so cute thanking him.

Alex grinned at Torin, he had asked for it. "Okay, prepare yourself." She looked at him, letting her charms out, hypnotizing him, making him love her more than he already did. She giggled a little.. the sound like music as she stared into his eyes. Letting him soak in what she could really do.. She let this go on for a few minutes before trying out her new charm on him. To make him dislike her. She wanted to see how well it worked, especially on someone who loved her. She looked at him for a few minutes.. Seeing if it had any effect on him, she really could not tell.

He looked at her right in the eyes as she started working her magic on him. He was suddenly felt with more love for her than he felt possible. She was everything to him, he decided as he got a bit of a glazed look in his eyes. And then suddenly.. it all vanished.

As much as he had loved her moments before, he now disliked her. He backed out of her grasp. "Why are you you touching me?" he exclaimed as he got out of the chair and backed away from her. "Don't come near me again!" He gave her a look of absolute dislike.

Alex's eyes went wide as Torin quickly backed out of the chair they were closely snuggled into. It had worked, and much to well. "Torin.." She said softly, backing off her charms until there were no more in the room. "Torin please.." She said softly, she did not know how to undo that charm. She did not want to hit him again with anything, it might mess up his mind. So she decided to do the only thing she could. Let it wear off naturally.

The look in his eyes though.. The look of pure dislike, almost brought her back to when he rejected her. She gulped and reached out a hand to him, and then brought it back to lay on the arm of the chair she was draped over. She could not help the feeling of sadness that came over her.. Goodness she had done this to him.. Why?

He scowled at her. Who was she to talk to him like that? She was no one that he cared about. She was a nasty person. He wasn't sure why she was, he just knew it about her.

"Don't you try to beg with me!" he snapped at her.

Jack was starting to grind his teeth. All of this chatter was interfering with his studying...and he had to work on his finals...

Alex's eyes went wider.. Whoa.. this was not a side of Torin she liked to see at all. This was an angry mean Torin who did not like her at all. Even as a friend. Merlin what had she done? She hadn't meant for it to go this far! And she did not want to reverse it and cause damage.. Tears gathered in her eyes, she was a terrible person.. "Torin, Listen I am so sorry..I did not know how powerful it was." She said as she got up out of the chair and started edging toward the door. "Come find me, when it has worn off okay?" She asked, as she flew out the door.

Grrr ...... she didn't get this stuff at all! Shumeeta had never been good at potions an' even as she read the instructions for it, the tomboy frowned.

"Someone help me with this!" she said unhappily.

Aww, nooo. "See you later then, LouAnn!" Fyo said, and he waved to the older girl as she left. Hopefully, she would do the essays later. Gryffindor needed the points rather desperately!

He turned to Shumeeta, and gave her a polite smile. "What's the prob, Shum?" He asked, quite cheerfully.

I knew I would find you here" Jason said to LouAnn. " I enjoyed our talks" Jason told her. " I am graduating but I wanted to tell you good-bye" Jason told LouAnn.

"Fyo, thanks for the challenge to be number two or three in homework" Jason told him. " I am graduating, so you will have to find someone else to pass in homework again" Jason said to VFyo. "Good-bye and good luck" he told him.

Mmm, what? Fyo looked up, then saw the person who had addressed him was Jason, one of Gryffindor's top-scorers. Which, of course, clarified the meaning of his comments. "No problem, Jason," he grinned. "It was a pleasure, I love to do my bit for Gryffindor."

Buttt whattt? Jason was leaving? That, of course, saddened Fyo. He didn't want Gryffindor to lose such a dedicated lion! "Term's not over yet," he said, with a nod. "No goodbyes yet, please."

He didn't like goodbyes one bit.

Shumeeta gave Fyo a small, sad look. "This second potions essay," she said with a sigh. "What does it mean in the first place, Fyoch? I have no idea so HELP me." She placed her head on the table and looked up at him.

Awww. "Don't worry," Fyo said, quickly. He pulled up a chair next to her, sank into it, and flipped open his BOOK. It was the one in which he scribbled down the assignments they were given, so he could keep track of them. Write in due dates, cross out what he had submitted, stuff like that.

"Let's see," he began slowly. "Yep, here we are. From what I figure, it requires you to summarize what you learned in class, Shum. It's pretty easy, if you tackle the instructions, one-by-one. You have to begin with the mechanics. Those are the 'technicalities' or, in other words, the basic information you have learned about the procedures and working of love potions. With me so far?" He looked up and gave her a friendly smile.
