I need to focus on History of Magic and Runes, but obviously I want strong scores in every subject I'm taking. Which is... everything but Astronomy and Divination."

So that's what Dom wants to hit Copernicus with. What's a study schedule anyway? Could that be why I'm so bad at studying? I'm not properly organized. "A study schedule? You'll have to show me how to make one of those." Abby pulls out a journal from her bag. "Let's see... I need to consentrate on DADA, Charms, Transfiguration, and of course Potions. I'm so glad I don't have to take a NEWT in Astronomy. Borr is a complete idiot. Have you ever heard of teaching Astronomy in the middle of the day?"

"What does it mean 'if one wishes to cast good-willed charms and spells'? It was talking about all this dark stuff until that sentence...doesn't make any sense." she said, furrowing her eyebrows, staring at the words.

'I suppose that means if you use your wand for good, instead of evil, it will still work as well?'
Well that settled that, Destiny's wand was officially boring. 'So maybe you got this wand,' she glanced at Evelyn's wand, 'because you have all these magical powers but you can control them! Or you are in fact, evil.' She said putting on a pretend scared face.

Evelyn frowned and stared wide eyed at Destiny from her last comment before she realized she was just joking. Slightly sighing in relief, she started writing all this stuff down on the parchment. "Oh yea, I'm extremely evil. You better watch out!" she laughed, pretending to be a ghost and 'booooo'-ing at Destiny.

'It's almost funny because it's true!' the voice snickered in her mind. 'Yea, well, she doesn't need to know that now does she. Or anyone else.' Evelyn replied, returning to her writing. "So does your wand have anything else besides...healing stuff? Probably does..."

Destiny sat there and laughed before she answered about her wand. 'Well the Unicorn Hair is for healing and protection spells. And the cherry wood is good for healing, romance,' she made a disgusted face at the word romance, after all she was only 11, 'and binding spells. Oh, it says it would be good for Divination.' She was pretty disappointed at this, thinking about the Divination class they had earlier. 'Well at least divination is better than astronomy!' She shuddered at the thought of becoming just like Lord Borr.

'His homework was ridiculus! All you had to do was write an ode about him, and you got full marks!' That had to be one of the easiest homeworks she had ever done. 'Since we are finished with Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, is there anything else you need to do?'

Evelyn laughed about the homework. "Yea, i got my marks back. Not so pretty..." She still had no idea what she wanted to do as a career, much less who to write an 'ode' about. "Anyways, i just have Muggle Studies after this, but i think I'll do that later. What about you?"

'Muggle studies, the camera thing? Yeah that's all I have to do.' Pulling out the camera she got from the lesson, she started to look around the room. 'Now I just have to find someone unexpected to take a picture of.' She was thinking about snapping a picture of Evelyn but she decided against it. Maybe if she wasn't sitting so close to her..
So she put the camera back in her bag. 'Yeah, I'll do that later too.'

Plymouth plopped down and flipped open a random book. "So what'll it be, Head Girl? What do you need me to tutor you in?"

... hehehehe

As Evolette took her seat beside Plymouth, she arched an eyebrow at him, "Tutor ME? Just because you are a Ravenclaw, does not mean you are the smarter one." She reminded him, nudging his arm with her elbow.

Peeking over at the rest of the groups, to see how everyone was getting on. Quite well, it seemed. Which was good. She was glad that the study group had not ended up as a total bust.

"Do you REALLY think we're going to get any studying done?" she asked him, in a low whisper. Studying with Plymouth.... she couldn't even imagine. He was far too distracting to study with.

Cela made a face as Rafe snapped a picture of LouAnn and Chris.

"Well, I have to do that, but also finish my wand essay. I have a bunch of textbooks here about it. I'm going to do mine on what my wand means rather than create a wand. I'm more interested in my own wand anyway."

Celandine opened the book and dumped it in the middle of the table.

"Sound like we all need to work on it? And that would be okay to help each other with since we all have different wands and all. Mine is Ebony, 10 inches, Unyielding with a unicorn hair core." Cela withdrew her wand and held it so the others could see.

Plymouth was giving all the other groups LOOKS, too. To reassure that HE, Plymouth Morgan and Mr. Hogwarts, had the Head Girl's back and that THEY were all to be STUDYING. Hehe.

He scooted his chair over to be RIGHT next to Evolette so that he would be able to see what she was seeing. Her perspective on all STUDIERS.

"Depends, I suppose," Plymouth leaned into Evolette with a HUGGEEEE grin, "on what the topic is. Again I ask, what DO you wish for me to teach you?"

Hmmm... HM. Yeah.

Picking up a quill, Evolette twirled it between her fingers, decidedly giving her brain something to think about. Something. Else.

Chris blinked hard and squinted his eyes until he could see again, '"Rafe! What are you doing?" he said to the fellow Gryffindor, but he had run off before he could see him.

He turned back to the table still rubbing his eyes and then listened to Cela suggest they work on their wand assignments for the Herbology/Care of Magical Creatures Homework. "Yeah that's fine by me." he pulled out his wand and set it down next to Cela's "My wand is Holly, 11 inches with a unicorn hair core." he said happily.

Before Copernicus could answer him, another voice was beside him and pulling up a chair. Noticing it was simply his housemate - Abby Wright - Dom shook his head when she asked if they minded her studying with them. Of course not; they were a very open group. Though it seemed like Cope already answered Abby, so there was no sense in contradicting him anyway.

Interrupting something? Nothing that she needed to be concerned with. "No. You're good," He gave his peer a convincing smile.

But they were moving on regardless from that topic and to the reason why they were here in the first place; figuring out what subjects to concentrate on and which they needed help with. "I need to focus on pretty much anything involving wandwork," the head boy admitted sheepishly. It was true though; with the exception of Runes, he was fine with all the subjects that didn't deal with wandwork. "But yes, likewise for me, I want strong scores in everything I'm taking. Which is everything, except maybe Runes. I have to talk with Professor Lupa regarding that subject still and whether I should attempt the exam or not." Because after his failed OWL attempt, he wasn't really sure he wanted to deal with the subject again.

Of course having Borr teach it was pretty much a waste of time; almost comparable to Bunbury teaching Herbology, but the Head Boy decided against stating THAT opinion of his. Evelyn just gave Destiny a look. No words were needed to see that she clearly did not want to do that. "What else should we do?" she asked, spying a couple students that could be easy targets for fun, debating whether or not if she wanted to get into trouble or not. It didn't really seem like something Destiny would do though, so maybe helping other people was the only thing to do.

Chris nodded as he waited for LouAnn to finish her list of items she needed help with or still had to do. When she finished he said, "Well I have the same things left to do. I finished the last of the Muggle Studies the other night and turned it in and the other stuff was long done." he nodded.

LouAnn blinked, then looked at Chris with a confused expression. She then laughed lightly when she realized that Chris must have misunderstood her. "I think you misunderstood, Chris. I agreed with Cela earlier---not disagreed," she explained, giving him a playful look. "Remember I said 'the more, the merrier'?" Joking back, LouAnn stuck her tongue out, as well, then listened as Chris listed the subjects he still had work in.

But, before he heard their response he was off again, searching for more pics to take.

Before she could comment, though, a blinding white light appeared, and at first LouAnn thought someone had casted a spell. A few blinks later, when she'd regained her eyesight, LouAnn saw that Rafe had snapped a picture as part of his Muggle Studies homework. With one last smile for Chris who had also welcomed her cheerfully she crossed her legs and leaned back in her seat before looking at LouAnn again as the girl spoke up.

Yes, work, study. Anything to keep her attention off of those rows of bookshelves she was currently trapped in. So she was even up to discuss Herbology. Well, only if she absolutely had to but whatever. Anything was better than just sitting there watching the library become creepier every minute. "Well..." Nancy started while bending down to retrieve her things out of her bag which she then placed onto the desk. Looking down at her list of homework she ran her index finger down the page until it landed on something which did not yet have a tick next to it.

"...I haven't finished History of Magic either." She gave Chris and LouAnn a small smile before adding, "Aaand...yes, what you said, Herbology/Care of Magical Creatures. I really need help with that. I so suck at Herbology." Nancy let out a small laugh at her statement while running a hand through her dark-blonde hair. Hopefully the other three would be able to help her with that.

"Well it's nice to meet you, too, Nancy. I can try and help you with Herbology. What is it your stuck on?" she asked, pulling a Herbology book out her bag. "I haven't done that assignment yet, but I don't think I'll have too much trouble with it." Herbology wasn't one of LouAnn's strongest points, but then again, no subject was really a strong one for LouAnn. Even though she made passing grades and understood things after thinking very carefully about them, nothing really came natural to her.

Dominic truthfully didn't really understand where Abby was coming from with the whole a Hufflepuff can't do History of Magic thing. Truthfully, he WAS a Hufflepuff AND he scored pretty high on his History OWL. Not to mention that Truebridge was one of his best professors. Maybe bias was present that he had been blind to? Possibly. But if there was, then it definitely wasn't house-related, since Copernicus didn't really have any issues with History either.

"I'm sure it's nothing personal," Dominic tried to comfort his housemate. "We each have our own strengths and weaknesses." Whatever the heck that meant.

Dominic turned towards Copernicus and nodded when the Ravenclaw apologized again. He knew Copernicus meant well, but at the same time, the boy had found someone . . . . and someone to love him back. Dominic thought he did, but somehow, his failure with understanding human emotions had led him to a failure in developing a relationship with another.

Sighing, he blinked as he took in what Copernicus said next. That wasn't the first time someone mentioned the dueling arena to him this term. "Wandwork has never really been a strong point for me. But yes, reviewing in the arena does sound helpful." Pausing thoughtfully, the seventeen year old tried to think of other ideas that could help them to be best prepared for NEWTs. "You know, I wonder, Copernicus . . . Animagi. It's a complex form of magic and will definitely require a bit of studying and research. But perhaps . . ." Biting his lower lip, as he thought it over some more. If the were successful, then they'd definitely be some of the most prepared for NEWT exams in many years. And if not, then at least they could say they tried; which was more than some.

But he and Copernicus were probably two of the brightest students in their year; thus, if anyone could achieve it, then they'd be likely. Especially with working together. And since Copernicus was a Ravenclaw . . .

"You up for the challenge, mate?" he finally asked.

"Ex. . . .cuse me!" grunted Jaxx as she made her way through the crowded corridor. The halls of Hogwarts were exceptionally crowded with students. Luckily none of them seemed to be headed to the library.

Reaching the library she quickly entered and made her way to the study area. "Finally peace and quiet." she said a loud as she placed her books on the table.

Erica rushed into the study area in order to escape of the students that was rushing to and from classrooms and the great hall, she dropped her books on the table and sighed, "Where to start?"

Jaxx was startled when a student dropped her books on a study table near by. It appeared to be unintentional yet she still felt a pinch of irritation at the noise.

Jaxx refocused her thoughts and began to immerse herself in her reading once more.
