Xander made a sad face as Torin said that the term was suckish. Nuuuuu! He had run into Brody earlier and she informed him of the drama that he had missed. Well, after hearing a girl's view of the story, it was time to ask the man.

"Dude, I know," he said. "I ran into Brody earlier. What happened?"

So he had seen Brody first. Somehow that didn't really surprise him. He wondered if she had told him anything about what had happened.

Apparently not seeing as Xander asked him about it.

"I dunno. Things were great then she just.. dumped me. She said it wasn't my fault but.. she wouldn't tell me."

Oh noes! His superman was upset. This was not good! There had to be something that he could do to at least help make Torin not so sad.

"Sorry mate," he said. "She didn't really go into details with me either. I thought maybe you knew..." He stopped talking for a second. Xanderman didn't dwell on sad things. "She's a girl. There will be others. For now... let's be troublemakers."

Hmm. Now what to do?

He nodded slowly. Xander was right. They should have fun, now dwell on this stuff when he had just gotten back. He wouldn't even bring up the subject of breaking Alex's heart. That he would tell Tammy about.

"What you want to do now to cause meyhem? Ooooh! Wanna make sleds and go down the staircases?"

Xander's jaw might as well have been detached from his body at Torin's suggestion. It was BRILLIANT.

"Excellent," he said. "What will the sleds be made out of? Since it's not winter anymore..."

He looked around to his surroundings to try to figure out what they could use. Maybe there was some old textbooks somewhere or wood or... well something. HMMM.

And that was where the trouble lay. Where were they going to get sleds?

"Try and sweet talk the house elves into letting us borrow two baking pans?" Big ones mind. They had to be able to fit them both or it would be rather uncomfortable to say the least.

He looked at Xander to see what he thought.

"Orrrr cookie sheets," he said. "We can Engorgio them if necessary."

Hehehehehe. That would be something to see.

"Taking turns down the stairs would be slightly hard. Do we need protective materials for this mission?"

Xander was a genius. "Yes, perfect. And we can get pillows and tape them around ourselves as cushions."

The gears in his head were turning.

Xander nodded his head slowly as he was grinning.

"I am pretty awesome at thinking of these things," he said. "Am I right?"

He started to dance around the hallway out of excitement. Sliding down the staircases was just TOO INCREDIBLY AWESOME to pass up. Teehee.

"Okay, so you can get the baking pans and enlarge them and I can get the pillows and tape." They could supply the things that they were the geniuses behind and then meet up outside the kitchens.

"So lets go down, mah brother."

Looking for a place to hide, JD sees a couple statues. His eyes lighting up, he decides that would be the perfect spot to hide. Looking up and down the corridor, he sees no one watching him. Especially NO fellow Ravenclaws.

Squeezing behind the bigger one, JD sits down on the floor behind it. Why he had to try out for the quidditch team, was beyond him. That was the first mistake he decided. The second was agreeing to be seeker...

Pondering the two games, he shakes his head, deciding there was no way he was trying out next term. Out of 5 snitches he had caught 1. ONE he thought angrily to himself. He thought the Ravenclaws would be angry that he lost their one chance to be in the quidditch cup finals, and now, they were in last place.

It wasn't Jack's fault, no not at all, it was his fault, and his alone. Keeper wasn't bad...he thought. He had saved the quaffle twice, and didn't allow it to pass through any of the hoops. But seeker...no never again. He thought to himself.

Trying to figure how much time it was til the train left. He shook his head again, he'd never survive behind the statue for the last bit of the term. Not to mention professors being angry at him never showing up for any more classes...

Torin was excited. It was his birthday tomorrow and he was hyper even after having just seen his girlfriend before. He still laughed as he remembered scaring her at the corn maze. He couldn't help but be evil to her occasionally.

But now he was getting sorta bored. He started to dance around the statues to give himself something to do.

Fyo almost screeched to a halt, as he saw what Torin Kane was doing. Sure, the Huffies had won the match but... gosh, this was crazy! Maybe because Fyo had never seen Torin dance, before?

"Torin!" He called out, a broad grin curving his lips. "What in the name of Merlin are you doing?"

He was in mid leap when he suddenly heard Fyo. Oops.

He stopped and turned to face the Gryffindor. "I was just dancing to let out some energy."

No, this wasn't embarrassing at all. "Hi."

Bwaha. Bwaha. BWHAHAHA! "Um... sure," Fyo said, as politely as possible. The corners of his mouth twitched... and then he couldn't hold it back any longer. He doubled up, laughing. It was after quite a while that he finally managed to get a grip on himself.

"Hi." Bwaha.

He rolled his eyes at Fyo laughed at him but he didn't realy mind it in the least. He actually snorted too. "You don't tell anyone about this?" Okay, he wasn't serious there. He honestly didn't really care who knew. haha.

"I won't tell anyone," Fyo promised. "Except Alex, so she can have a good laugh at dinner." Teehee. Bad him!



He stuck his hands into the pockets of his jeans, and then looked around. "What am I doing here, in the first place?"

He honestly had no idea.

I spyyyy.... a girl running away in the distance!

BLECH. Boredom. Mustkillzeboredomness.

Disappearances of friends... led to boredom. And well boredom let to wandering. And well wandering led you to random events such as a dancing and laughing marathon next to the Statues. Though Livvy didn't know of such a path as she walked through the school, skipping around lightly and humming a tune to herself. She was just... minding her own business and well... that led to another path but that was beside the point.

She skipped towards the statues and spotted that-that-that... whateverhisfaceisdude... and Torin. TORIN. TORIN FREGGIN' .... What was his last name? Meh. Who cared anyway?

"Heeeellllooooooo," Livvy greeted the two in a sing-song voice as she skipped over to them.

He shook his head. "So you heard about Alex? Well, I'm sure she will get a good laugh from this."

He raised his brow. "I dunno, dude. I'm not sure why I'm even here."

And EEEPP! It was Livvy. "Brain Twinnnn!! You see us win?" Of course she had. But he was excited.

YAYNESS.

Oh lookie, another person. Fyo knew Livvy from classes. From the Study Area, too -- she was a regular, wasn't she?

"Hey there," he said, with something of a polite smile. "Olivia, right? Fyodor Balocuh," he added, by way of introduction. He was, after all, pretty sure she did not know his name. His full name, at least.
Fyo half-frowned. Of course, he had heard about Alex - even though he hadn't believed the rumours, until Twitter and Brody had confirmed them. She had been hurt and... well, he didn't like that.

But he didn't want to think of bad stuff, either. Fyo nodded, and gave Torin a friendly smile. "She's a pretty girl," he said. But Brody is way prettier. WAY prettier. "I can tell you two really like each other, mate."

He stretched a bit, then smiled at both Torin and Livvy. "I have to rush," he half-lied. "See you two later, alright? Bye guys!" He waved to them, sorta winked at Torin, and left as fast as he could.

EEEYOOOWWW. TORINTORINTORIN! Livvy squealed as she jumped towards them. She was about to comment on them being Brain Twins, but then she realized something. "Hey. That rhymed," she said, chuckling and flashed him a cheesy grin. "And YES. Of COURSE I saw you guys win! Congratulations!" She still felt bitter about it. WHY? Why... of all the houses... did Hufflepuff have to win?! HMPH. But Livvy wouldn't take it out on her brain twinnnehh.. No siree.

Oh. Okay. Gryffindor boy announced himself. Livvy had seen him around before... yes she had. But she had never gotten around to actually talk to him, not that it really bothered her that she didn't. There were too many things to be done. Especially if Ravenclaw was going to win the House Cup, which seemed to be really slim at the particular moment.

"Oh hiiiii," Livvy said grinning at him. She began to nod her head but then stopped. Uhm. What was his last name? Blink blink. "Yeah... Nice to meetcha Mr. Fyodor ..." ..... Uhm. "So anyway..."

Blink. Wait. What? Where was going? Livvy just stared at the boy in confusion as he began to run away.

She didn't seem too interested in getting to know him. That figured -- Fyo had always had a feeling Livvy didn't like him. She always... well, treated him with distaste. Like in the flying lesson.

He had no idea why.

But yes, she seemed like a really fun person, one he would like to get to know. But he really didn't have the time. He was NOT comfortable around Torin for long periods, especially when his other friends were around. Because he wasn't one of them, anymore. He had been... thrown out of that group, right? Been shown he wasn't worth anything for them, too.

This really wasn't the most pleasant place to be.

He turned around. "It's Fyo," he told Livvy. "Nobody calls me Fyodor. Umm... have a good day." He sped off. SPED off.

Fyo was leaving. BOOO!

He waved at the Gryffindor but returned the wink. Oh wells. He could see him again later.

Now Livvy was around and she was happy that he had won. That really got the hyperness going. "Thank you. I have been celebrating. And tomorrow is my birthday!"

And with that he started to dance again while singing an old Muggle tune he had in his head due to the funny numbers in it.

Sure Livvy didn't really care much about not knowing the boy before this moment... but there were reasons of course. That was an essential time where "fraternizing with the enemy" just simply would not do. Though Gryffindor was only the 'so-called enemy' for a good week or so. Quidditch. Go figure.

MEN. So confusing... so crazy... so hormonal... so ODD. "Wait. FYO! Where are you going?!" Livvy yelled out in confusion. Spppaaaz much? But Livvy liked it. Go SPAZZERS!

Right. So back to her BUHRAAAAIN TWIN.

"IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY TOMORROW?!" Livvy shrieked shrilly in surprise and disappointment that she hadn't known earlier. Though they actually hadn't encountered each other much, ever since... well... the day they met. HA.

Blink.

Her theories on men were correct. And mood swings. One moment they were normal and conversing like a sane person, and the next moment they go jiggling and singing to some random song. Although it was odd and VERY RANDOM, Livvy couldn't help but grin and giggle. In fact.. she liked it so much, that she began dancing, herself.

He was so busy dancing to the song that he was singing that it took him a moment to realize that she had said something to him. He wasn't sure what though because he had numbers circulating around in his head. "3 is the MAGIC NUMBERRRR!!" Yeah!

Oh, right.

"Yeah, I'm turning 16 tomorrow. Go me!!" He wondered what he was getting as his presents from people. Not that that mattered to him. Cough.

He boogied with Livvy, wishing that Alex was there too.
