| Super Slytherin Buddy | | ⅓ She-Snake Trio | | a normal girl with normal knees It was the end of the year? Really? Like really really? It seemed as if it was going so slow in the beginning, but then sped up towards the end. Where did the time go?
It looked like she was one of the first people there, well first Slytherin there, at the table, so she sat down anywhere. She couldn't wait to get home and see her uncle, even if it was for the one day, or few hours. But she would be sad to part the school. She didn't want to go home either even if it had been a crazy, weird, slightly amusing school year. 'Aw well, it's just the summer. Than I'll be back.' Just the thought made her smile a little. Now to just wait for the others...Where was Destiny anyway?

A bit surprising for an end-of-term feast, the Great Hall was still mostly empty when Kiri climbed up the Dungeons staircase. There was a puzzled look on her face, but further investigation would have made it obvious that she was not confused about the lack of students - her eyes were staring into space unfocused, and occasionally she furrowed her brow. Once or twice, it seemed as if she was about to start talking to herself. That her slow, meandering steps moved her in the direction of the Slytherin table looked almost like sheer luck.
Kiri sat down a little distance away from the other girl who'd already arrived. She mumbled a greeting, then resumed her aimless staring into space. Now she was also nibbling on her lower lip. Because Kiri was wondering if she'd completely lost her mind.
When she'd woken up in her bed that morning, drenched in sweat as after a nightmare, she discovered she'd acquired a set of new recollections.
She could not remember performing the actions that would lead to that particular set of recollections to find itself in her head.
Her brain, helpfully antagonistic as ever, was quite sure that she must have done. At some point. Probably.
Worse, while the memories themselves were vague and fuzzy, they were still clear enough that Kiri had needed the support of an armchair when she'd walked into the Slytherin common room. After seeing the barking boxes in front of Professor Lupa's office, of course - and she'd been pondering the same question ever since: Could she really have done that? And how? And why?
Kiri desperately needed someone to talk to, Raiden preferably, but at the same time wasn't sure if she was even going to mention it. It sounded crazy. She'd toyed with the idea of prodding the boxes with her wand, just to see what would happen. But what if it turned out it really had been her... somehow? She would certainly be expelled! And what if the Ministry got involved? Plainly, Kiri did not know what to do.

Walking onto the Great Hall, Destiny couldn't help but smile. It felt like the first day at Hogwarts only this time he wasn't scared, and she didn't have to put an old dirty hat on her head. As she walked over to the Syltherin table, she remembered how upset she was when she first got sorted in this house. And now at the end of term, she souldn't see herself in any other house. It was true, you do grow to love your house.
Destiny must've been early, even though it took her forever to wrestle her owl into his cage. It wasn't hard to spot Evelyn sitting at the table since there was practically no one there. She sat right across from her 'Top Slytherin, huh?'

She sat right across from her 'Top Slytherin, huh?' Well that was lucky. Wondering where Destiny was and here she was! "Yea, looks like it." Evelyn smirked, tapping the table somewhat impatiently with her finger. "But of course, you are like, right there too." Yup, she knew Destiny was catching up and close behind her, so they were both top Slytherin. "Did you see the house points?" They were so close to being first! Ugh, how Gryffindor was in lead when they were far behind in the beginning of the year was beyond her. Which reminded her... glancing over at the Gryffindor table, she spotted Josh right away, though she couldn't really tell what his mood was. This summer was going to go by soooo slowly...Sighing, she turned back to Destiny and gave her friend a tired smile. At least they had the train ride back home, right? |

'Right behind you by like a hundred points!' It wasn't so bad. But next term Destiny was going to actually try and she would even do all the homework. Next term, they will win the house cup.
And speaking of housepoints, how did Gryffindor come up so high? They must've cheated, there is no other way. 'But at least we didn't lose by that many points. I mean poor Huffies, they lost by five hundred points!' Poor Huffies..NOT! Second place isn't all that bad. 'At least we won the Gobstones!' That should be something to be proud of, even if Destiny doesn't know anything about that game.
And now it was official, only a few more hours until they were headed home. The long ride home on that train. And then before you know it, they would be doing this all over again. 'Well we will see each other at Diagon Alley! I'm going to need new robes, since I ruined all mine already. I should buy more than three sets next term. Ohh, are you going to the Quidditch World Cup?'

Okay, so she didn't really know how many points Destiny had, or she had for that matter. Just their placement. "Hufflepuffs lost by five hundred? Seriously?" Oh the happiness that now consumed her and her heart. It felt good to know that they weren't last. Next year, Slytherin will definitely be first. Hopefully...
"Yea, I guess we'll see each other in Diagon Alley." But that time was still too far away. She smiled when Destiny spoke about getting new robes, remembering the chicken wings in potions class. They were chicken wings right? Some kind of wings... And now the Quidditch World Cup was brought up. Was Destiny going? If she was then she was insanely lucky. "It's funny. My father pushes and pushes me to be the best in quidditch, and yet, they practically hate the sport. No, I'm not going. I can't." She said dejectedly. "Are you going?" |

She had spent most of her time studying so she had only made a couple of friends. Looking around she noticed there were only a few Slytheins at the table. She spotted Destiny and Evelyn sitting together so decided to go sit by them. "Hi Evelyn, Destiny, congratulations on being the top 2 Slytherins this term." Marie had really wanted to be first but hey, third wasn't so bad. "Do you two care if I sit here with you?" Without waiting for them to answer she sat down next to Destiny.

Reese Upstead headed towards the Great Hall having mixed emotions. First of all, she was excited that the term was officially over, because that meant 1) no more homework and no more final exams to stress out about and 2) she would be on the place with Jack, Tammy, Torin, and Brody on the way to Greece in no time. On the other hand, Reese was quite sad to think that this was her second to last end of the term feast, which meant her last end of the term feast would be NEXT YEAR. Sigh. Just one more year before she graduated and went out into the big world, which she wasn't ready for...not yet at least.
So, there she was, standing in the doorway of the Great Hall with no expression on her face. She was looking at the staff table and the first person that came to her head was Lupa. For some reason, when she saw those boxes sitting in front of Lupa's office door this morning, she kind of remembered something. Something that made her thing she did that, which was unbelieveable, yet she still wasn't too sure. IF she did that, she would never know why, but she had a feeling it had to do something with that meeting in classroom 11 with Cope, well, she just assumed it, but she could be right. Who knows? Her memory about the last month or so was kind of cloudy.
After staring at the staff table, she looked towards the Hufflepuff table, then to the Gryffindor table, and then she was finally looking towards her own table. Reese looked at the table as seconds went by, and then she finally made her way over to her housemates. She took a seat near Kiri before looking back over at the Hufflepuff table, hoping she would spot Torin somewhere. Sadly, she hasn't seen her friend since him and Alex broke up and she was kind of getting worried. It wasn't good staying up in your common room for weeks! She shouldn't be the one talking. Since Reese was unable to see Torin anywhere, she looked back towards Kiri and gave her a smile before looking down at her plate.

At least it wasn't in Slytherin house that all the deaths were occurring. "Your brothers are lucky then." she said, sighing and wishing she was able to go to the Quidditch Cup. Maybe next time she'll be able to go. And she would take Destiny. Maybe Josh too if he was willing unless he was already going to this one.
Snickering, she raised a brow and shook her head, amused that Destiny's parents wouldn't let her go either. "Don't want their little girl to be into sports?" she asked, trying hardest to keep the laughter down. She shouldn't talk about that though, having her own problems with her parents and sports. Since Reese was unable to see Torin anywhere, she looked back towards Kiri and gave her a smile before looking down at her plate. Blink. Stare. Kiri's eyes slid over the table. The ancient wood was so dark it almost looked like marble. Blink. Stare. The surface was smooth and shiny. She wondered vaguely how many students had sat right here before her. Blink. Stare. More Slytherins were joining their friends at the table. The noise level in the Great Hall rose steadily. The bench Kiri was sitting on creaked slightly as another student sat down close to her Blink. Blink. She raised her head, and her gaze fell on one of the old doors at the end of the Hall. It was an ordinary-looking door, practically identical to the dozens of others throughout the castle. But when she glanced at it, a second chain of memories clinked into place. Yes... The old classroom... She had been there with a large group of students discussing... something or other. Kiri felt a prickle of cold sweat on her hands. They had talked about Professor Lupa. What did that mean?
She looked away hastily, in the opposite direction, and there she spotted the student who'd sat down next to her. It was Reese. Kiri eyed her closely for a moment. She had fuzzy recollections of Reese too.
And the girl looked similarly confused and uneasy as Kiri did. Kiri returned Reese's smile distractedly, then made up her mind. She scooted closer on the bench until she was right next to Reese. "Hey," she said, trying to sound casual. "How, er, are you?"

Not when he had spent almost the entire end of Term in his Hermitdome besides when he had gone to talk to Warren about Alex. And when he had met Tammy in the Pumpkin Patch.
But he missed Reese, and there was no way that she would have been able to come into his Common Room. Stupid difference of Houses.
He walked right up to the Slytherin Table and took a seat beside her. Noticing a girl on the other side of her, he smiled. He was sure he had seen her before. "Hello, ladies." |

Unless, 'Are you a pure-blood?' Perhaps that was a weird question, but if she was a pure-blood she should know everything about Quidditch!
Destiny looked up at the Staff Table. Hmm, where were all the Professors? And why was there a pile of sticks on the table? 'Has anyone seen the Headmaster lately?'

How could Marie not know about Quidditch!? That is something everyone should know about.. Unless, 'Are you a pure-blood?' Perhaps that was a weird question, but if she was a pure-blood she should know everything about Quidditch!
Destiny looked up at the Staff Table. Hmm, where were all the Professors? And why was there a pile of sticks on the table? 'Has anyone seen the Headmaster lately?' "No." Evelyn muttered in response to Marie's question. Simple answer for a simple question. Pfft, she wished soooo much that she could go, but she couldn't. Dang. BUT, how in the world could Marie not know much about quidditch? Was she serious? Like...seriously?
And Destiny asked a good question. Was Marie a pureblood? Wouldn't make sense if she was and knew nothing about the sport. Aaaand, of course, another perfectly great question. Where was the headmaster? "Nope." she shook her head, glancing up to the staff table. "Actually I haven't seen him since the opening feast. Kinda forgot what he looks like too." she laughed, drumming her fingers on the table. Aw, well, it wasn't important right? He'd probably show up sooner or later.

Her first year at Hogwarts was finally over. Nikki walked slowly into the great hall, taking a moment to look at things. She was kind of glad that the year was over...for now that is. She wanted to go home, see her father and other family members again. And of course Blake was gonna hang out with her over the summer.
Walking over to the Slytherin table, Nikki sat down and looked around for her friends.

Well, he couldn't possibly be gone for this whole time. What did he do, hibernate in his office all year? Wolves don't hibernate do they? Shrugging at her own questions, Destiny looked back at the staff table. Professor Svennson was holding one of them twigs.
No, wait.
Destiny took off her glasses and gave them a good old cleaning, then shoved them back on her face rather forcefully. It wasn't a twig, it was a wand. The pile of twigs were not twigs at all. 'Wands. They have their wands.' Now that was strange. But not as strange as how hungry Destiny was..

Or all year for that matter...' she thought, drawing little circles on the table with her finger. Looking up suddenly though at the mention of wands, she glanced questioningly at Destiny for a moment before turning to the staff table again.
She hadn't noticed the pile of wands on the table before until now, but sure enough, there they were. 'Does that mean I don't have to worry 'bout Professor Bunsomething stealing mine anymore?' That would be nice... "Wonder what happened to them in the first place since now they are just...there." she lazily gestured to the front of the room before going back to drawing the circles on the table.

Who would want to take the professors wands anyway? And half of them already bought new ones. Maybe the ones they don't need, they can give to Destiny. That way she won't be stuck with a healers wand anymore. Muhaha. But that is very unlikely, since they probably wouldn't even work for her. Annnd she might have got a tad bit attached to it.
And now more and more professors were showing up, it was almost over. 'I won't cry, I won't cry.' Destiny gets emotional sometimes.. And thinking about emotions, 'Sooo, what is going on with you and Josh?' Huh, huh, huh?

Evan was particulary feeling bad today. This end of the term feast meant Lyra and Fallon would go away and leave him here all alone with Devilmont. He'd have to be good with Devilmont, because they would practically be his only 'friends' besides Shana and Lyddia! He slowly walked in the hall, turned towards the table. Even the table was empty! Some firsties and some older people. Sigh. This feast would be so bad.
At last he reached the table and sat down somewhere. He offered Marie a half-hearted wave and smile, hoping that she wouldn't see it. He sighed again. The night seemed to be very long without Lyra or Fallon around.

And thinking about emotions, 'Sooo, what is going on with you and Josh?' Huh, huh, huh? Evelyn abruptly stopped drawing circles on the table and froze for a second or two before looking up to Destiny, creating a confused and innocent expression she plastered onto her face for added effect. It was pretty obvious what was going on with her and Josh, buuuut, she decided to just have a little fun and not answer right away.
Glancing towards the door, she noticed that Evan came in and sat down, not looking all too happy, but then again...had she ever seen him happy? Actually, now that she thought about it, she'd only really paid him any attention when Josh was around and well...yea, Josh was always around. So of course he wouldn't be happy then. Shrugging her shoulders just the tiniest bit, Evelyn turned back to Destiny and raised a brow, clear that she 'knew what info. the girl wanted, but she wasn't going to get it until I feel like it' look. "What about me and Josh?" |

"What about me and Josh?" What was that look? Evelyn wasn't going to tell Destiny? So not fair. 'I know something is going on with you two, Evelyn Flores. And I will find out.' Evelyn wasn't going to make this easy. Sure, Destiny knew something was going on, she just wanted to hear Evelyn say it. The fact that Destiny was just nosy had nothing to do with it, nothing.
The Great Hall was still empty. But at least almost all the professors were here. Bunbury wasn't. Destiny still had to hug her.. The headmaster still hadn't shown, and Lawson and Professor Morgan holding hands!? Destiny turned and gave Evelyn a fake sad face 'Look, they tell everyone what is going on with them, and you won't even tell me..' Hmm, and with a quick glance over at the Gryffindor table, Destiny spotted Josh, 'Whoa, is his head that big up close?' 'I'll just go ask Josh, he'll tell me.'

Controlling the urge to laugh, she sat there, looking as innocent as ever. She had no doubt that Destiny would find out one way or another. She would tell the girl herself, but this was way too much fun. Wait, who told everyone what? Evelyn turned just in time to see... Oh...my...Professor Lawson and Professor Morgan?! Really? For some reason, she just could not see those two being together.
Frowning, she was just about to turn back and smirk at Destiny, continuing with the 'nope I'm not going to tell, guess!' thing going on when she spotted someone she'd never seen before up at the staff table. Well obviously since the girl looked like she could barely walk. 'Mr. Masterson is married?' she thought, trying to digest all this information. 'How come I seriously learn more on the last day of school than I had all school year? Okay, big exaggeration, but it's close.' Shaking her head, she looked back to Destiny, finally having that smirk appear.
Wait a moment... Laughing, Evelyn glanced over at the Gryffindor table, spotting Josh again before turning back to Destiny. Would her friend really go over there? Well, it would definitely give her an excuse to go and see Josh. *teehee* "I bet you wouldn't." she challenged back, leaning against the table with a mischievous smile. |

Destiny was watching Mr. Masterson and his daughter, well who she guessed was he daughter. Why else would he be holding her? She slowly turned to Evelyn when she said she wouldn't ask Josh. 'Is that a dare?' If there is one thing about Destiny it is she will almost never turn down a dare. And if Evelyn didn't mind her asking Josh in front of all them people, then it is on. 'I will, and I am. Right now.' Josh better tell her.
Standing up and straightening her robes, Destiny turned to Evelyn, 'You coming?' And without even waiting for Evelyn's answer, Destiny stalked over to the Gryffindor table.
