"Hello." Evelyn replied to the girl. Shaking her head slightly and smiling, "Wow, that was awhile ago. Well, there's more than enough here." Evelyn noticed that she hadn't taken any food yet and grabbed a roll. 'Think the feast was the last time i ate as well. Huh.' she didn't feel that hungry. Maybe she was so past hungry that she didn't feel hungry anymore. 'Confusing...' she thought, taking a bite of her roll.

Evelyn looked down to the table to where Josh was again. 'What is he yelling about?' she watched as he ate pretty much everything on Evan's plate...including, to her horror, the glowing peep. "Josh! No- I didn't actually think you would eat that marshmallow! I don't even know if it's edible!" she yelled, putting down her roll and partially standing up.

"oh it's nice to meet" said Violet in her soft and quiet voice then stopped eating after one salad she thought she was starving since she didn't eat since a bite of salad on the hogwarts express maybe that was why she was always so skinny

Evan rolled his eyes when Josh said only girls knew how to be happy. He wanted to shout out loud that Joshua's existence made him angry, yet alone he was eating HIS food with HIS fork sitting next to HIM! And all those weren't enough, he had dirtied HIS hands a couple of minutes ago, now he was ruining HIS meal while using HIS napkin. And he wanted him to be happy? That was not going to happen, not even with magic.

He finally dropped HIS fork. He wrinkled his nose, watching with narrowed eyes to guess his next move. Would he throw the plate? Would he hex him? Or would he do his horrible jokes again? He waited, his eyes narrowing moe with every second. He was prepared, he wouldn't be startled again.

However, he was startled when he started to shout, no, wept. Evan's cold eyes looked in suspicion. His left eyebrow raised again. What was this nonsense? What pain, for God's sake? He blowed much air from his nose angrily. This kid was still 8 year-old, he needed to be taken to a kindergarten, not to a magical school. "I don't buy it, Carter." he said. "YOU have started this." It sounded childish, but it was true, and despite all his efforts Joshy kept keing a jerk to him. Now he was pretend to cry? Hah. Old-fashioned child. Evan Cartwright was NOT going to fall for it.

His hopes raised with Rosa's 'I don't even know if it's edible!' Would he just die naturally now? Huh, it'd be interesting to watch. If he was to die, Evan should apologise, right?

Not gonna happen, either.

He thought if he was being too mean to the kid. He was a simple kid after all, with over reactions. But he was over-overreactive towards Evan, and unless he made an effort to make up, Evan wouldn't, either.

Conan came in the great hall , he was looking for someone he knows to go and sit down beside , he saw Violet eating there ,so he went near her " hey , can i join you ?"

"sure" said Violet she hugged Conan " How have you been?" she asked

" nothing much , you ?"he said.

"nothing much I can't wait till Quidditch tryouts" said Vioelt in her quiet and soft voice " I can't believe i didn't eat since the hogwarts express which was a bite of a salad is when i ate last so i just had only a salad not as hungrey as i thought" She said

"Yerr never hungry," Ella smirked, joining the table for a while. "Hi, Evelyn!"

Evelyn sat back down, worried at what would happen to Josh. She stared at him while distractedly replying, "Hello." she didn't look to see who spoke to her.

" me too , i'm so excited " conan watched her while she was eating , it was obvious that she was hungrey , " i'm hungrey too, i didn't eat much at the Hogwarts express" Conan eyed the table and asked " can you pass me some chickens"?

"sure" said Violet and passed the chickens She took four bite's of her salad and said "I'm full"

"thank you " he took the chickens from her and put them on his own plate , when Violet said that she's full , he turned to look at her plate . the he continued to eat , " any plans for today ?"

What was this guy's problem? He always stared at him as if he was about to blow up. He looked funny, of course but keeping that much stress inside would hurt one's soul and mind, would not it? Obviously Evan had no sense of humour. 'Did not expect him to have' . Slytherins were hard to understand, one being sweet and nice, another being hot-tempered, humourless and agressive. He glanced at Rose some when she yelled, sounding worried, that the glowing peep might not be edible. Maybe he should not have eaten it. Maybe it was the reason for his headache. Wait! What headache? He never had headache. However he shrugged at her ''It's okay nothing bad would happen to the good sort hun, not to worry'' he winked at her and turned back to Evan who spoke to him with a manner similar to spitting at something disgusting. ''I'm not trying to sell you anthing but you can but one of my self-made, water-proof sense of humour'' he joked ''And what an ungrateful way to pronounce 'you', everyone might think you have just found a new curse word. If we come to the subject of who start-'' he stopped. The pain was increasing in his head. Dropping his bottom on the seat, silence fell on him and he just stared around blankly.

Evelyn all but died when she saw Josh suddenly stop talking and sit down, looking around with a weird expression. "Oh my god..." She said, horrified, quickly dropping her roll and standing up, running to where he sat. "Josh?" she asked hesitantly, slowing down and trying to see his face. "Josh? Are you okay?"

"no not any yet what about you?" said Violet in her soft,quiet and sweet voice

'Hun'? Ooooh that meant only one thing; Joshy baby was in looooveee! He loved Rose!! Awww! That'd melt Evan's heart to the guy, because it showed he could love. How sweet! He grinned. It was obvious that this relationship was about to blossom, but Evan had expected it to be next year. He'd have talked some girl topic with Joshua if they were friends. But, no, that wasn't gonna happen, along with some other impossible things.

Oooh, one of Joshy's lame jokes again. Evan rolled his eyes, quickly losing all his sempathy. Bleh. How could this girl love him? Maybe she didn't, she just saw him as a friend and he showed his love? Or more likely, Joshy's stupid jokes were just for Evan. Probably. This guy had some negativeness undescribeble towards him. If only Evan could understand what he had done... Apparently he was really rude that 3 people already hated him.

Evan didn't listen to him properly, and only said "Hmm." when he came to who started, well, when he couldn't. At first Evan didn't care, just Joshy crappy. Why would he care anyway, would Josh care? He didn't think so. But when Rose sounded too worried, he turned his head to see what he was doing. Hmpf. Was he really sick? Evan looked in merely interest, but when Jadey didn't get up... something was wrong. Why would he carry this on anymore?

"Carter?" he asked, worried. "What's wrong?"

He blinked at Rose than at Evan and vice versa, kept doing it a few times more than nodded three times ''Yea- yes, i think so. Nothing wrong. Not to worry. Not to worry. Not to worry''. The pain was blurring his eyes and he shoke his head thinking the blur effect would go away which was of no use. He spotted his eyes at specifically nowhere on the table. He was feeling weird, quite weird. Like all his emotions, thoughts, ideas, joy had gone. He felt strangely empty. ''Sorry, sorry...'' he uttered ''I have to go, i really must go'' he stood up looking around, standing more and sat down again glancing at Evan and Rose. He felt nothing. ''Thirsty'' he whispered ''Need water''

Evelyn scooted closer to him when he spoke since she could barely hear him. She watched him blink at them, looking kinda lost yet...in pain? Was he hurting? She watched helplessly as he stood up, saying he needed to go then sitting back down. "What? Thirsty? Water? You need water-Okay! Water! Needs water!" Evelyn frantically said, hastily moving to the table and picking up a goblet full of pumpkin juice a little too quickly, splashing half of it down her hand and onto the table. Cursing, she grabbed the nearest napkins and placed it on the spill before handing the cup to Josh, eyes full of tears. "I'm sorry Josh. I shouldn't have done that to the marshmallows."

Evan was still hesitating between believing him and laughing. He looked pretty sick. He couldn't be so reckless to keep this plot going just to catch the girl's attention, could he? Nah, he was sick. And as Evan was the oldest in them, he felt responsible. Yes, he'd help Josh. How ironic.

His voice now warmer and worried, he asked "Where are you going in this condition? You should be taken to the hospital wing." Duh. He quickly grabbed the water and a glass, HIS glass, to be particular. "Here you are." he said after pouring down some. His girlfriend was faster than him. It was pumpkin juice, something sugary which would thirst him more but whatever. He placed the glass back on the table. What was happening to him? He was helping the enemy. Odd. The question of 'Would he do the same?' bugged him much, but he dismissed it quickly.

His eyes followed Rose with the cup of pumpkin juice than Evan with a glass of water. Hot temper started to invade his body along with the pain. ''Thank you and thank you'' he said half-smiling them and drank both drinks immediately. Shaking his head some to repel the pain and blurring, he stood up again and patted Rose on shoulder when he saw her teary eyes ''No, no. I'm okay. Really'' it was so hot. ''I swear i am...'' the heat was heavy. 'Get out, get out' he thought 'Fresh air, cold breeze and... the lake! The dark cold lake of which surface he touched while sealing on it in his first night at Hogwarts. Yes the lake was his cure to the heat' ''No need for hospital wing'' he took a few step away from the table and smiled at both Slytherins ''I must go now. Have fun'' he gave them a slight nod, loosened his crimson/gold tie and made his way out the Great Hall to the Lake.

Evan shrugged. He wasn't that responsible to tail him, or to drag him to the hospital wing, to that annoyingly merry healer. His life, his choice. "Okay." he said with a shrug, and after seeing that he was out of sight, he announced "I'm leaving too. Bye." He had enough of breakfast. He was going to the common room. He needed someone normal.

Oh, shoot.

Lyddia had walked over to the Slytherin House table to grab something to eat before she left to find Terref. She figured it would do her good if she saw someone she knew. But when she came over she saw lots of people having conversations.

Lyddia's eyes went wide, she approached the table slowly and grabbed some food quickly, not knowing what it was. She then started to back away slowly and broke into a run to leave the Hall. Once she left she realized she had grabbed a bottle of ketchup.

Lyddia stared at it for a while. Then, "I can't eat this." she stated, obviously. Then reluctantly came back over to the Slytherin table. She hoped she didn't interrupt any conversations or anything.

She saw the boy Evan she talked to that one time before... or was it two times? Lyddia didn't remember. Either way he always seemed distant whenever Lyddia talked to him and she wasn't sure he'd strike up a conversation. It didn't matter anyways, Lyddia thought, as Evan had gotten up to leave.

However, Lyddia had decided to sit down to eat...because even if she did grab something edible and left, where would she go eat it?

With a sigh, Lyddia grabbed a plate, and a little ways away from the conversing people, sat down and began to fill her plate.

Nicoletta sat down at the Slytherin table to get something to eat. At least she wasn't the only one there "Umm, hi. I'm Nicoletta>"

Evelyn wasn't convinced. She needed to know, from someone professional, that he was alright. She needed to know.

She looked at Evan in disbelief when he said he was leaving. He was leaving Josh? Who probably is NOT okay??! UGH! Deciding quickly, she ran after Josh.
She just needed to know...

Lyddia turned to a girl who had sat beside her. She seemed nice. She also seemed very small. Lyddia immediatly knew she was a first year too. Lyddia thought about how different they looked. Lyddia looked like she was 13 even though she was eleven. This girl looked eleven.

"Oh, hello. Uhm, I'm Lyddia. First year."
