| | Slytherin Head of House Office Slytherin Head of House Office
The Office of the Head of Slytherin House was directly across from the common room. The walls were painted in green and try as she might Alessia couldn't get her signature lilac color on them. Pictures of medieval renaissance of ladies and their knights had been strung all around just the same as in her Runes office. In fact other than the color, and a new vanishing cabinet, it was identical... well... not Identical... the mirrored image.
The Neapolitan Moka espresso pot was in a corner on an old fashioned cast iron parlor stove, but they were mirrowing what the runes office was.
The disillusioned bookshelves were on the other side, but the fluffy being round and in the center, was not any different... except in color... The room seemed to insist the color be green... Oh well. She didn't mind green. In the center of it, as always, was a round wooden piece, same height as the rest of it. On it, placed neatly in a circle, were ten antique demitasse cups, overturned on their saucers and in the center a large platter, in the same pattern, on which the house elves would deliver daily cookie, or cake, or anything sweet that fancied the Head of Slytherin House at the time.
Alessia doesn’t believe in closed doors, unless who she is meeting with at the time needs privacy to talk. So if she is alone on her office, she is no doubt meditating on her ‘fluffy’ (the name she calls the ottoman like piece of furniture,) so the door will be open, if there is someone in the office with her, the door will be shut. |

Okay, FINALLY she was ready. She was dressed in her favorite crimson robes and her hair looked perfect. All that was missing was, well... her best friend. She couldn't possible go to the feast without her. As she entered the castle, she peeked her head inside the Great Hall and saw the Headmaster sitting at the staff table all by his lonesome. "Well, I guess she's still in her office," she muttered to herself as she turned towards the stairs.
Once outside her new office door, Iliana gave it a quick knock. "Aleeesssiiiiia?! Are you in here?" she called out.

Alessia opened the door and saw Iliana. "Yeeeees." She said and gave her a smile, but did not let her in. "I'm not going, Ili..."

Iliana gave Less a perturbed look. "Yes you are," she informed her. "Lessie come on. Don't be silly. You look fantastic, let's go."

"Lessie?!" She said glaring at her friend... "Can't you go with someone else?" She asked rolling her eyes, "Really... I will have to face the headmaster after what I did... and the students..."

"Of course I can," she said. I mean, obviously! "But I'm going with you. So stop trying to debate me on this and just COME ON." She flashed her a playful smile.
"That wasn't your fault," she said quietly. And quite honestly if someone was misguided enough to be hateful to Less in front of her, they'd better be prepared for her reaction.
Wait a minute... Ili knew how to deal with Less. "Okay Less, if you don't wanna go, I won't force you. I just thought you said that Lycans were strong."

"They are... We are!" Grrrrrr.... that was irritating. Use her own words to guilt trip her. "Fine..." She said, "give me a moment..." she stepped back in to her office and then back out again. Now... she wore lipstick. "Let's go." She said closing and locking the door behind her.

FINALLY the woman saw reason. "Let's," she said with a broad smile. And off she walked out of the dreary dungeons with Less at her side.

Alessia followed Iliana out of the dungeons and to the great hall for the opening feast.
____________________________________________
When Alessia came back from the feast she was alone. She went into her office and sent an Owl. Then she wrote a note and came out of her office in her black robes, hood pulled up over her head. She waved her wand, affixing the note to the door.
She then re-entered the office, locking the door behind her and stepped through her vanishing cabinet into her Ancient Runes office, to be far from the children.

With that, she took once last glance at the sleeping Slytherin girls before heading out of the dorm and down to the common room. Kiri nodded silently. Making sure the boxes weren't bumping against the walls or ceiling, she followed Reese down the stairs. Her feet made soft pitter-patter sort of noise, and as coldness crept into her toes, Kiri realised that she'd forgotten to put on socks or her slippers. No matter. They would be in bed again in a few minutes.
The door into the common room creaked ominously. Kiri hissed disapprovingly, but the room itself was empty. A dull red glow came from the giant fireplace where the last of the evening's embers smouldered. They would have enough light to work with, then. No artificial light was going to be necessary.
Reese already stood next to Lupa's office door. Kiri walked over to her, her wand still held up high. Behind her, the boxes were bumping into each other with gentle thuds. She directed them onto the floor. "Alright," she whispered, leaning in close. "Do you have all of yours? I think it's best if we stack them by hand, I don't want them to fall over or anything." Without saying anything else, Kiri picked up the first and placed it in front of the door.

Without saying anything else, Kiri picked up the first and placed it in front of the door. Reese followed the boxes that were floating in front of her down the staircase to the common room. She was forgetting the fact that the door she just walked through had squeaked and could possible wake someone. It was a good thing that the only footsteps she could hear were her's and Kiri's, so she didn't think that anyone had woken up. She brushed some of her hair out of her face once she made it to the common room. Her eyes shot over to the light coming from the fireplace. Good, they had just enough light to be able to see what they were doing.
She quickly headed over to the door of the werewolf's office before she lowered the boxes to the ground, and then she placed her wand on a nearby table since she didn't have a pocket to place it in. "I think I have all mine," she whispered back. Looking at her boxes, she mentally counted all of them and then nodded towards Kiri. "I do have all of them," she quietly said. She watched the young Slytherin put the first box in front of the door, then she took her first box and placed it next to Kiri's, so that the whole door would be blocked. After that, she stacked two or three more boxes on top of her's and then looked towards Kiri to see what kind of progress she was making.

They worked quietly and efficiently. It took them only a few minutes to stack the boxes up to waist height. Kiri was sweating slightly now even though she was only wearing her silk pyjamas, but the boxes were heavy, and the constant bending and carrying took its toll.
Soon she couldn't reach the top of the stack comfortably anymore. If she manoeuvred around a bit, it still worked, but she was afraid of dropping one of the boxes, and if someone discovered them... It was the middle of the night, she reassured herself, picking up another box with a grunt and heaving it up on top of the others. The door reached up quite high, but if they got the boxes up to, say... two-and-a-half metres, it would suffice.
"Wands now, it'll be safer even if it takes longer," she said quietly, wielding hers to levitate one of the boxes up high. It definitely did take longer, getting them to stay on top of each other, but the barricade rose and rose.

It definitely did take longer, getting them to stay on top of each other, but the barricade rose and rose. Reese watched Kiri stack the her boxes for a few moments before returning to her stack. She stacked a few more boxes until she was out of breath, and then the stook a step back and placed her hands on her hips as she gained her breathing back. Who knew these boxes could be so heavy? Or maybe she was just weak.
Once she got her breathe back, she went back to stacking the boxes. She continued to stack them until the stack was too high up for her to even try to put another box on the stack. Looking towards Kiri, she listened closely when the girl said they would have to use their wands now. Oh, booo. Wands were suppose to make things easier, but in this situation, that wasn't too sure. She sighed before walking over to the table she placed her wand on. After getting her wand, she went back over to her boxes and began to levitate each one onto the stack. It felt like 15 (maybe even 20) minutes passed before her stack was done.
"I'm done," she whispered to Kiri. "I'm going to go back to bed now." She gave the girl a little smile before walking back to the girls' dormitory where she went right back to sleep - like she had been there the whole time.

Kiri stood back and admired Reese's and her work. She was panting slightly from the exercise, but the look on her face was a very satisfied one. Evil, too. The boxes neatly encompassed the entire length and height of the office door.
There was just one last thing they had to. After all, they wanted to leave a lasting impression. "Hold on," she whispered to Reese. She pointed her wand at the boxes again and started muttering under her breath. With a low rumble, the entire barricade moved more tightly together. Kiri lowered her wand and leaned closer to survey the effect of the magic. If the stack had looked somewhat unstable and haphazardly built before, it now resembled a brick wall. Kiri resisted the temptation to tap against it. That would be... disastrous.
At last, she stood back. Kiri had never been the best at Charms, but oddly enough, ever since... her eyes had been opened by Copernicus, even the most advanced magic came easy to her. She was sure that it would take the likes of Professor Lawson - or maybe even Professor Kazimeriz - to get rid of the boxes. But now that the job was done, she felt the tiredness creeping back. Tomorrow was going to be a tough day. "Alright, let's go." She followed Reese back up the stairs again, leaving behind a neatly arranged wall of boxes.
Each box had a madly cheerful dog printed on it. Each madly cheerful dog had a madly wagging tail and eyes focused on a little bone-shaped treat which was glowing in the darkness. Sure, it was cruel and mean and petty - but they were not going to be taught by a werewolf. OOC: What Kiri and Reese have done is barricade the office door with tons and tons of, er... dog biscuits. (The werewolf-approved kind. )
They've added a couple of charms to those boxes - they can't be levitated away, vanished, or transfigured, and it'll take pretty strong magic to get them to budge at all. The topmost row or two could be moved by hand, but someone would have to use a ladder to reach that height.
Touching them is not a good idea, though. They will start barking and wailing at ear-splitting volume.

She came out of her vanishing cabinet and went to the door. This one she pulled open... but as the door flew open and saw.... Dog Biscuits? How insulting! and they were piled high. "If I catch the culprit it's detention! She called out to no one. She tried pushing the boxes so she could get out. She had no wand, after all. The dogs on the boxes began barking. LOUDLY!
MERLIN!!!! What is this!!!
"Oi! Stop barking! Shhhhh Shhhhhh!" She cried. "Melrin's BEARD! OI! FIDOS! STOP BARKING I SAID!!!"
She tried to push the boxes but they wouldn't move, and her hearing being so strong the barking was really GETTING TO HER! "If anyone can hear me, please.. come to the fifth floor and help me!"
She pointed to the dog on the box at eye level. "If you lot don't stop this barking, I'm finding a way to put you in detention!!!" Finally she could listen to it no more... She closed the door, though the dogs kept barking and she made her way through the vanish cabinet and went back to her fifth floor office.
