I sat down on the floor wrapping my arms around Bonnie. "Shh It's going to be okay. We'll visit mom and dad over the winter break. It's coming up soon anyways."

Bonnie sighed.
"Maybe I should get some air!"

Arianna dragged Rafe over to the sixth floor, she didn't really know why it was the sixth floor but she supposed it because it was always quiet over there. Not many people wandered around those corridors. She found a nice curve and stopped there. " You, sit!" she ordered, pretending to be bossy while she looked around and picked up a few candles that immediately were replaced for new ones, magically.

She sat next to Rafe with 4 candles burning slowly. She let the wax drip to the floor and placed them there, using the wax as glue. Once they were settled, she searched her robes and took out what looked like a potions kit.
"This wasn't damaged by the water, it has a very powerful spell to keep its content safe" she explained touching it with her index finger making the little wooden box make a clic sound.

She opened it and inside there were zillions of little bottles, full of mysterious powders, leafs and liquids. " This is my kind of magic Rafe, seat back and enjoy" she said with a wink, taking her wand out and flickering it throw the air, making two metal mugs appear. From inside the box, she took a very ordinary bag of muggle powder chocolate. She divided it for the two mugs and then with another switch of her wand, they were both full of hot steamy water " I can't dry things... but I boil them, thought I don't think you would thank me after if I tried to boil you just back then.." she joked, touching a few of the little bottles with her finger, murmuring. She picked up two different ones, one with a powder the other one with a liquid and added them too to the mugs.

She moved her wand over them and it's content started moving in circles. After a minute she placed her wand inside her robes and put away the little box. They were both in a corner, at candle light, which could have been romantic if that was the intention, but it wasn't.

She handed one of the mugs to Rafe " Here " she said taking a sip from hers " it won't make anything funny, I promise, it just tastes better.." she lied smoothly. It did taste better, but it also made you all warm an fuzzy inside, like you had just had a nice hot water bath, and were in your favourite PJs under a nice blanket.

Rafe did just sit back and watched her work. There were a few, "uh"s and "what about--"s, but Arianna seemed very focused through the whole process. He eventually just leaned back against the wall and let her do her things. By this time it was smelling soooooo good. "Mmmm...I can't wait!" Rafe said rather giddy. He clapped in excitement.

Rafe gave her a quizzical look as he took the mug. He took a sip and then sat it next to him. He started coughing and grabbed his throat. "Y-you've k-k-k-killed m-m-me." Rafe hit his head against the wall and looked as though he completely passed out.

"Kidding!" Rafe said as he darted his head up and laughed hysterically. He picked up his mug once more and took another sip. It felt to good and warm going down his throat. It reminded him of walking on the beach in Ibiza, Spain. Sigh. It's such a great feeling.

Arianna chuckled as she watched Rafe's little performance. She didn't bought it for a second, she knew she hadn't done anything wrong. Not on her speciality, cooking.

"Ghaa, you're such a pain!" she teased drinking more from her hot chocolate, feeling the cold wash out " Now seriously... how are you? Better at all? You realise I did all of this to see you smile?" she said seriously. And I secretly wish you didn't see me and Theo on Transfiguration Class..

"I guess I'm feeling a little better, I am grateful at least to still be at Hogwarts." Rafe shrugged and took another big gulp. Dang, this stuff is good, he thought. "Dang, Little Italy, what are you trying to do? Fatten me up? Cookies...brownies...hot chocolate. I'm going to have to double up my workouts if you keep serving me stuff like this!" He patted her on the back.

Arianna chuckled " You workout? When? Quidditch?!" she asked amazed that he worked out, but it made sense. He was bigger than her, she knew it, and a lot hairier, prettier, more popular... she shook those thoughts away. I'm pretty popular, her inner ego said.

Arianna stared at the photo for a long, long minute " This is you?" she finally said chocked.. " this boy doesn't look like you, not a little" she looked at Rafe, all fit and energetic. She sighed and thought about herself over the years, she hadn't changed a bit, same glasses, same brows, same hair..

"I wish I could do something about this.." she said gesturing her own face. It was not that she wasn't pretty, but her hair was curly, a curly mess, her eyebrows were thick and she wore those hideous glasses just because she was too stubborn to wear contacts " ghaaa, doesn't matter" she said, leaning back and finished her mug.

Arianna blushed from head to toe, if that was even possible. She stared, big eyed, at Rafe for eternity and cursed herself for opening her big mouth. " I-I...I-.. NO!" she ended up screaming and looking away, her face so bright she could be a fireball.

Was she trying to impress Theo? Was that why she felt so nervous around him in class? He was cute right? Not that boys can be found cute.. but did that mean she was crushing on him or something? OH EM GEEE! She had never crushed on a boy before. What was she supposed to do?!?!

Arianna's face was a mask of panic by that time.

Rafe folded his arms. "Mmm, hmm...you hestitated," Rafe said bitterly. "Isn't he a little old for you?" Rafe asked with a crinkle right above his nose, the crinkle of frustration. How could his best friend go out with his enemy?!

"If I could recall...," Rafe said as he mockingly pondered and rubbed his chin. "He's the one that's threatening to expose me!" Even though Rafe felt incredibly bad about what he did it didn't change the fact that Theo had threatened him first.

Arianna opened her mouth into a 0 but she said nothing, ending up closing it. She couldn't argue with that, he had hesitated. She decided to ignore his age questions, she knew his thing was about the both of them being some sort of enemies.

"I don't mean to be BFF with him or something and I'm not sure I fancy him at all, I, personally, even though I support you 100%, don't have anything against him! So there is no reason for me to be impolite.." she said, explaining herself a little too much for someone who was "innocent".

"Plus!" she added shortly after " He offered to work with me, why can't he fancy ME?!" she said, her voice sounding a little hurt. Boys could like her right?.... right?

"What makes you think he fancies you?" Rafe said rather harshly. That came out completely wrong and probably sounded incredibly rude. "I'm sorry, I only meant that he has a thing for this other 4th year, Fia...he's like crazy about her, you should have seen the way he fawned over her when she came to the office...but, I don't think the feeling is mutual, I saw her with this guy in the library...there was some spark."

Rafe patted her shoulder. "You're too good for him anyways." Rafe said as he smiled out of the corner of his mouth.

"I..." and she looked down, embarrassed by his words. He was right, WHY did she think he might, in any time, fancy her. Her shoulders dropped an inch and she looked miserable. And then she felt a punch in the stomach, he had a girlfriend.. she pouted.

"It doesn't matter.." she said, ignoring his words and pats and got up. " We should go.." and started gathering her things, inclusively his mug, that wasn't empty, she emptied it with her wand, and returned the candles to their proper places.

Mehhhh?!?

Cela was starting to get bored of this now.

"Adhaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrooooooooooo oooooooooooo." She stuck one sheet up and then the other, "Aaaaaadhaeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrooooooo."

She eyed her handiwork then headed to the stairs.

Daisy was struggling with the large white sniget cage that Professor Morgan had lent her for the rest of the school year. It was quite heavy and Daisy had been lugging it since she left Professor Morgan’s hut out on the grounds. It seemed that with every step the cage got heavier. All Daisy could think of though, was how happy Houdini would be to finally be able to hop and flitter around.

“Heee---hhhhvvvvvallll…” Daisy gasped a little panting as she paused on the top step which lead to the 6th floor corridor. “I need to work our more.” She shook her head and then hefted up the cage and started down the hall way more.
Minding her own business and thinking about Houdini, Daisy passed by the sign only to pause and walk backwards to check it out.

“What?” Blink. Blink. Isn’t that Professor Bunbury? Must be someone’s idea of a silly joke.

He slid his hands into hers as they climbed the stairs, although it worried him that he might pull her off balance and then make her fall again. That Kettleburn boy... always making Cela fall.

"I don't want to make any plans for next year until I know where I'll be, you know? I haven't heard back yet."

As they reached the top of the stairs, Cela spotted the wanted poster and her ode that Borr had told her to put up. She shot a little glance at Copernicus, sniffed and pulled his arms around her waist.

"You'll get in. Probably to lots of places and then you'll have to choose." Celandine told him confidently. "Professor Lupa had other suggestions for you too, right?"

"Yes, she did. Rubbish places, probably. But if you want me in Italy instead of Egypt, I'll do it. I'll do whatever you think." Education was education, right? It was what you did with it, and Cope didn't need to work in Egypt.

"It doesn't matter what I want. I still think Egypt is a good idea." Celandine snuggled backwards. "I'll be here anyway."

And Egypt would be more exciting for Cela to visit.
