"Of course." He chewed off the word professor with a grumble, sliding an arm around Cela's waist and leading her down the corridor.

Copernicus gave Louann one last nod before he turned a corner with Celandine in hand. "Cel. You're sort of pushy, aren't you? Are you hurt?"

"I'm not hurt." Celandine answered after Cope had led her a little bit away. "Not pushy either. You were being a little bit... um...it doesn't matter." She headbutted his shoulder. "Come on lets get our warm clothes!"

"Have to check," Copernicus grinned at her, turning both hands over to he could give her palms a smoochy. "All better."

At her insistence, Cope resumed the trudge toward the common room. "I wish there was a good sledding hill around here. We had one at the house when I was a child, and it was amazing."

"Sledding? You?" Celandine giggled. "I've never done it except if you count using a cushion to go down a staircase." That happens to moooove.

"Why'd you stop doing stuff like that, Cope?"

She'd never been sledding... and now Cope wanted to take her. He'd find the perfect hill. Perhaps in Hogsmeade.

"Because my mum took me, and then I was too old. It wasn't much fun to go by myself." He considered that for a moment. He could have gone, even if his father refused to take him. "What about a staircase?"

Cela was kind of sure that Copernicus just sort of stopped actively looking for fun stuff when his mother died.

She nuzzled him and gave him a tttoooooottally innocent look.

"What staircase?"

"The one you needed a cushion for. Merlin, you're a terrible liar," Copernicus picked her up and swung her onto the bottom step leading to the common room.

"So. Don't forget your mittens and hat and things. Scarf I got you for Christmas."

"Only to youuu." Cela answered with a giggle. "You don't need to worry, I had Garret RIGHT there looking after me."

Gigglesnort.

"Okie dokie! Won't be long!" Cel blew him a kiss and turned on her heel hurrying ahead and into the commons, up the stairs and to her dorm to get her things.

Copernicus summoned his own coat, hat, and gloves from the common room. He didn't want to climb all the way up the stairs just to turn around and come back down.

His coat flew down the corner and smacked him in the face, making him chuckle. Once the flying fabric was under control again, Cope slid the winter wear on and slid to a seat. He'd just wait for Cela right here.

Celandine bounced back down the stairs, scarf on of course, but also wearing a nice warm coat. She bounced out into the corridor and looked left and right, not down.

Where had Cope gone?

Copernicus grabbed Celandine by the legs and tugged her into his lap. He was careful not to jostle her too much, but there she was. Plop!

"Hey, Snow Queen. Are you ready to go have some fun in the snow?"

"Or here. Here is good." Celandine answered once she'd gotten over the surprise of being tugged off her feet. She liked where she ended up so it wasn't so bad.

She gave Cope a quick little kiss.

"Are we going to make snow angels? And can we go say hi to Tib and Cass?"

"Sure... and... of course," Copernicus agreed, resting his chin on the top of her head. "It's too warm in here for proper snuggling, but at least I know you'll be warm enough when we get outside."

Yes, fine, so he mother-henned her just a bit.

"Sort of miss those silly chutes and ladders when we're way up here at the top of the castle, don't you?" He slid her out of his lap and scrambled to his feet.

"I miss them sometimes. I do like sliding and they would have been fun all covered in snow." Cela agreed and used him to pull herself up.

"Okay! Lets go! Hold my hand?" She offered her mittened hand eagerly.

"Absolutely," Copernicus slid his own gloved hand into her mittened one. She was being BOSSY again. Hehe.

"Do you think that you could use a spell to make the snow expand? Make more of it and pile it?" Because they WOULD be sledding.

"Of course we can." Celandine agreed. "It shouldn't be covered by any of Gamps laws so its totally possible. I bet we can make snow if we conjure water, freeze it and slush it up."

Tug tug.


"One time, I saw older students ice over the stairs and sled down them."

Copernicus stopped in the middle of the corridor with an intense look on his face. "On the stairs, huh?"

He imagined what it would take to make a sledding hill out of the stairs... not much, actually. "Ugh. Lupa told us not to clown on the stairs, though."

"Hey Cope?" Celandine pulled her camera out and took a snap. "Love youuuu!"

She put the camera away and shook her head. "Sooo lets make our own stairs. Or something."

She grabbed his hand again and tugged it around her waist as they headed downstairs.

Hmm...alright, well, it seemed that everyone she'd been talking to was getting ready to leave the seventh floor to held elsewhere. As a matter of fact, Cela and Cope had already gone, and LouAnn really didn't want to take up anymore of Professor Lupa's time. Besides, she needed to get back to the Common Room and start working on a diary of her blackouts, starting with the two that had happened today.

"Thanks for your time, Professor Lupa. I'll get started on my diary right away and show it to you when I have a week or so worth of entries done. "See you in class!" She turned around, facing the direction of her Common Room, then started off down the hallway. She waved goodbye as she walked further and further away.

Anya walked down the corridor, hand-in-hand with JD.

Walking down the corridor with Anya, he stops and turns toward her. "Where should we start first?"

Knowing this school is an adventure in itself, he hopes they find a place to explore fast!

Larissa stumbled down the steps because her vison was blurry from her tears. They were streaming down her face ina beautiful way. She was so upset that she had tried so hard and he didn't even realize it. She was being nice and sweet and flirting too. She didn't understand why he wasn't attrachted to her.

She sat on a bench and put her hands over her face.

"Umm.. we should try to find the Room of Requirement!" she said. Anya had always wanted to see what that was like.

Brody had to get away from the common room. She had to get away from where Torin might have been. It hurt too much. But she didnt know why she had come to the 7th floor. Why the 7th floor? All the way up here. But that's where she was, sat leant against the wall, looking like a total mess, with her head resting on her hand. She felt horrible. She felt horrid. She felt alone.

Miles walked out of his common room wanting to go somewhere quiet. Maybe the Room of Requirement or something when he spotted Brody. What was she doing up here? Slowing his steps he noticed she didn't look at all like her normal self and he stopped, "Brody...? Are...are you alright?" Well surely she wasn't so far from her common room. He just hoped the thing with Fia hadn't escalated after he'd left.
