"I'm... sorry ... about the way I acted. I jumped to conclusions too early," Ella blushed, looking away from him. She clasped his hand softly in her cold one.

"It's okay, El. I forgive you." he said as she placed her hand in his. It was chilly. He pulled her closer to him and gave her a big bear hug. He hoped to warm her up.

Chills. Again. It didn't really help how cold she was; he just kept giving her all these goosebumps and shivers and whatever.

"I'm sorry." Ella repeated a final time. She looked up at him in the eye and hoping that he knew she meant it.

Nate rubbed her arm a little and smiled. "I forgive you. Its ok. No need to apoligize a second time." He hugged her again and got up. "Where should we go now?"

"Where d'you wanna head? I don't mind." Ella asked. The rub seemed to do it. She was much warmer now.

"How about the Three Broomsticks or the Lake? Both places we can be warm. It is June after all." he said holding her hand walking down the hall.

"Let's head to the lake, that's my favorite spot." Ella grinned, walking alongside him.

"Okeydokey! I'll race you there!" he said letting go of her hand getting in position to run. When she smiled Nate took off down the hall.

Alex slowly peeked out from the Gryffindor Common Room, her blonde hair was barely visible as she searched the corridors for people who would be mad at her. Rabid Fan Girls of Torin, Reese, Tammy, Brody.. All people she would rather avoid at the moment. Torin most of all. She did not need to see him right now. Not when she was still so upset over what she had done to him.

Slowly the rest of her body appeared in the corridor, and a sigh if relief escaped her lips.. It was saf.. for now at least. She leaned back, she was looking bad again, too thin, her hair was up in a messy ponytail, and her eyes.. well just looking at them, you could tell she had many nights with no sleep and lots of crying. GAH..

Alex wanted to bang her head against the wall thankfully she just leaned on it.. and looked at the window. She wanted to be at home, with Damon..

Alex was a Gryffindor. Alex would be up at the towers. With her hair perfectly curled and bobbing around her waist, Brody Summers wandered along the corridor.
Ahh she was here. Brody was glad that she'd worn flats today, now the girl wouldn't know that she was here, and couldn't run away.

"Alexandrina Kensington." Her icy voice called out, as she came to stand by the girl. She wasn't going to shout at the girl. Oh no. She'd had that happen to her. She just wanted answers.

Alex's pale features went even paler at the sound of the ice voice behind her. She slowly swiveled in place to see Brody Summer come strolling towards her. "Brody." Alex's voice was shaking and unsteady. She was one of the last people she had wanted to see right now. Why couldn't Damon or Kris shown up? But nooo... She sighed.

"Yes? Come to yell at me?" She asked in a defeated voice, she was going to stand there and take it..

"No I'm not going to shout at you." Brody's hands were on hips as she stared at Alex. What good would shouting do? It wouldn't make Torin feel any better. "Not gonna help Torin feel better is it?" She had to glare at the girl though. She had hurt Torin so much, and that was something she coudn't forgive. She couldn't even forgive herself for doing it.

"You know I still love him. I never stopped loving him." She sighed, just throwing it into the conversation. "And now Tor's hurt again. And there is nothing I can do, because he's too hurt now. It's so painful Alex. Do you know what you've done. If you hadn't got in the way."

Alex looked at Brody as she spoke, and she sighed. Did the girl think she was heartless? She felt terrible for what she had done. "No, it is not really going to help him feel better.. Perhaps if my existence was erased from the world that might work.. or if I somehow had the power to erase his memory..I would do either to help him stop hurting." Her voice was dead sounding.

"You know I still love him too?" Alex countered, "I can never forgive myself for hurting him. Never, so I don't need you or anyone else telling me how awful and cold hearted I was, for I know. I don't need anyone yelling at me, or screaming.. For I know! Okay.." Alex's voice sounded like it was in pain. "Then why did you break up with him then? None of this would have happened.." She sighed heavily. "I am a terrible person, I understand this, but I have gotten mine.. so to speak. I broke up with Torin, as there is a guy whom I have been in love with since the start of term, and I did not want to hurt Torin more than I already have.. He deserves someone who can love him with her whole heart.." She paused "But the guy I love, has a girlfriend now..So.. you can say Karma has got me.." Her voice was raw and painful to hear.

Sylvia was glad that she had not just bought Torin that giant lollipop for his birthday. She had to get one for herself too, you had to spoil yourself once in a while and a rainbow lollipop seemed to do justice.

Annoyed that she had left the sweet in the common room, Sylvia came across Alex and Brody: UNSUPERVISED. This could be trouble. "Hellooo?" She said, interrupting the two. "Is .. everything ok?"

Brody sighed as Alex began rambling on, and if she was being at all honest with herself she was not listening to the slighest thing that the girl was saying. She didn't care how Alex was feeling, she was the girl that had broken Torin's heart, and that was something she could never forgive. She hadn't even forgiven herself for doing it.

"So you obviously know now how I felt when I found out Torin had a new girl. It felt horrible, especially because I couldn't escape you too. You were everywhere I went." She could hear the painfulness in Alex's voice, but frankly she did not care at all. "But right now. Im quite glad that you two are over because now he can move onto someone who cares for him, and someone who will look after him, someone he deserves." Brody sighed, just as she heard Sylvie's voice. Maybe Sylvie could drag her away.

"Sylvie." She turned to hug her best friend. "Yes. Everything is absolutely fine." NOT
