Seventh Floor Corridor
 

You must passage through this way to get to towers above the fray.

Virgi went though the dark passage quickly and quietly she had to get to a certain place for a certain meeting. She knew this place was out of grounds even though it was in the castle, it wasn't on the marauders map, passed down from my father to me. He said it was because I was special, I was the only girl of the children, Virgi. Then Virgi realized she had arrived.

Alex was on her way to the common room when she heard a voice, and she caught a flash of red.. She smiled a little as she heard Kris's voice and she sped up and rounded the corner with a smile on her lips.

"I thought I heard you up here." She said coming to a graceful stop not far from Kris and his phoenix "Hey Feuer." She called smiling up at the Phoenix.

DRINA!

Kris beamed.

I haven't seen you in forever! What have you been up to?

Feuer banked towards the girl at the sound of his voice.
Oh, yes, he remembered her. The girl from the train.
He hadn't quite decided if he liked her yet.
But for now, he would be nice.
He dove at her head, pulling up at the last minute, with a beat of his powerful wings blowing a whirlwind of air around her.

Feuer! Kris chastised with an amused grin.

Stupid bird. Sorry about that.

He reached inside his cloak and chucked an alarmingly large piece of ham down the hallway in the opposite direction.
He loved his enchanted pockets.

That ought to keep him busy for a minute or two. How you been?

Alex beamed back at Kris, her smile wide and radiant. "Hi Kris! How's it going?" She asked as she looked up at the Phoenix who had decided to dive bomb her.. "Ack!" She cowered a little as she felt wind strike up and blow her hair around..

"Thanks Kris, I don't think Feuer likes me.. which is odd, animals usually like me.." She frowned a bit, and then shrugged. Well if he didn't know she was a Veela, maybe she was safe??

"I have been great! How have you been?" She asked him, as she put her hand up to her head, and started to straighten out the hair that had been messed up.

Reese had made her way from the student garden to the seventh floor. She had just gotten done telling Torin that it was nice knowing him, which probably left him upset. She wasn't too sure at the moment if she wanted to be friends with a boy that likes a Professor, then makes love potion for that Professor, THEN accidentally gives the love potion to her.

As she made her way down the seventh floor corridor, she sighed deeply to herself. Why did her life have to be so...eventful? Yeah, that was the right word to use in this case. She stopped walking as she looked around the area. Now, where was that Fat Lady portrait? Since she didn't see it, she continued to walk down the corridor, hopefully going in the right direction.

A few minutes passed and she finally came up to the potrait that led to the Gryffindor Common Room. She took a seat next to the portrait, then she brought her knees up to her chest as she just stared at the portrait. Jack would make his way in or out of there sometime today and she was going to talk to him.

Chris decided to head down for a walk on the grounds. He stepped out the opened Portrait Hole and stepped into the corridor outside. He walked a few steps from it, scracthed his dark hair and then turned around quickly he thought someone was there.

'Reese?" he said to the Slytherin friend of his. "What'cha doing you nearly gave me a heart attack." he smiled and walked over to sit by her.

Reese took her attention off the portrait after staring at it for so long. She glanced down at her black shoes, then another sighed was heard. Today just wasn't a good day for her. Maybe she could just got to the dungeons and sleep and then maybe in the morning she will feel better.

Hearing the portrait open, she quickly looked up to see Chris walking out of the common room. "Hey Chris," she greeted the fifth year. "Oh, I didn't mean to almost give you a heart attack." Hmm. It probably wasn't such a good idea to sit near a place that people will walk out of. She might scare everyone that walked out of the common room...oh, well. "I was just waiting for Jack to walk out. Is he in there?" She replied.

Chris sat down next to her and nodded. "Well it's ok. I wasn't that scared." he laughed. He then thought about her next question. Was Jack in there? He thought he had heard something about the two of them breaking up. But he hadn't seen Jack hardly at all since the feast. "Reese, I didn't see Jack in there. I went in and just looking for my bookbag. I thought I had left it in there boefore going to eat but it wasn't in there. I can't believe I lost it" he said kinda to himself. "Anyway, how are you Reese?" he asked.

A smile appeared on Reese's face. "That's you weren't that scared," she told him. She glanced back at the portrait as she waited for Chris to answer her question, hoping that he would say Jack was in there, but he didn't. "You didn't see him? Darn," she said with disappointment in her tone. "I was hoping to talk to him." If he wasn't in there, that meant she was going to have to wait longer to talk to him. Greaaaat.

"You...lost your bookbag? That's sad," she commented. "What are all the places you visited today besides the common room?" She shrugged her shoulders at Chris' next question. "I've been better," she replied. "What about you?"

Chris laughed as it appeared she was teasing him for being scared. "Hey you would be scared too, if the hallway you walked into everyday for the past 5 years, all of a sudden had a person sitting there. Hardly anyone ever uses this bench. Because normally the only students who come up here are Gryffindors."
"No I didn't see him sorry." he said sadly. He really liked Jack and Reese together and he hoped perhaps if she got to talk to him they could maybe get back together. "But if you want if I see him anytime soon, I can let him know you are looking for him?" he said happy to do so.

He didn't plan on leaving his friend here alone soon though. "Yeah I lost my bookbag sometime this morning, because I had it with me in the Common room last night doing Transfiguration Homework." he sighed. When she asked where he had been that day he replied. "I haven't really been anywhere. I woke up grabbed my bag and headed down to the Great Hall. I sat down at the table ate my breakfast and when I went to leave my bag wasn't there. So I couldn't remember if I had eft it up here or not so I came to look. And I just finished looking and its not in there." he pointed his thumb at the room he had just left. "And it sucks because that bag was very expensive. I got it in Italy." he said glumly. "Oh well, lucky me, I forgot my Ancient Runes book up here, that I had planned to take to the Library. At least I didn't lose that."

Chris then looked back at Reese "I'm sorry your upset, and I think I know why. I won't make you talk about it, unless you want to, but I know things will work out in the end, ok?" he said soothingly. "As for me," he started to answer her question about how he was. "I'm doing good apart from my missing bag. I have enjoyed my classes so far, except the Astronomy one with Borr. It was horrible!" he said with a disgusted face.

Lucy walking down the coridor when she noticed a Gryffindor girl walking alone.
"Hi, you're in Gryffindor, right? I'm Lucy, by the way, fourth year. What year are you in?" Lucy asked, though she had a vague idea that the girl was probably a first year.

Reese giggled. "True," she replied. "I would be scared if I walked out of the common room and saw someone sitting down near the common room." She patted the boy on the shoulder and added, "You know, I miss being up here. I miss sharing a common room with you all." It was true. It took a bit to get use to moving from a cold Slytherin Common Room to a warm Gryffindor Common Room, but she didn't enjoy it.

She sighed. "It's cool. I'll go find him later," she told Chris. Her face brightened up a little bit and she nodded her head. "Please do tell him if you see him," she said. "I would greatly appreciate that."

"So, you know you grabbed your bag before you went to the Great Hall," she said. "Then, it went missing after you were done eating? That's strange." She scratched the top of her head as she thought about the problem Chris was having. "This is very strange," she added. "You might want to ask around to see if anybody has seen it." She shrugged her shoulders at what she just said. Asking people if they have seen a bag might lead to more answers. It was just a thought.

She opened her mouth to talk, but then closed it. How exactly was she going to put this? "I know you probably think me and Jack broke up," she started off. "I sure hope we didn't, because what happened at the feast...I didn't mean it. Someone - I'm not going to mention who - gave me love potion and, yeah, I didn't mean what I said to Jack. That's why I need to talk to him. And, hopefully, it will all work in the end." She stretched her legs out in front of her as she listened to Chris. "It's good that your doing good," she replied. "I hope you find your bag soon. I'll keep a look out for a lonely bag and if I see it, I'll bring it to you." Astronomy. She moaned at the mention of that class. "That class was a nightmare," she simply stated.

Chris smiled. "Well I sure miss you guys being up here too." he thought to himself that he was sure glad it was shared that way instead of the Gryffindors having to move down in the Dungeons. "It was a lot of fun having you all up here. It let us get to know you all a lot better."

Chris then nodded as she agreed that he should tell Jack, "I sure will! You can count on me." he grinned.

Chris nodded. "Well I thought I did. But obviously I must have since it isn't up here anymore. Man, this is so frusterating. Now I'm going to have to carry all my books in my hands to every class." he saighed. "But yeah asking around is a good idea. There are tons of people here, someone's bound to have seen it."

Chris then looked at Reese as she began to talk and then stopped. This was definately a hard subject for her to talk about. He listened quietly and as soon as he heard the word 'Love Potion' he knew who she was talking about without her having to mention it. A vison of last term went into his head:

'He had been in the Greenhouses with Professor Bunbury helping her plant bouncing bulbs when Reese had walked in and needed to talk to Bunbury privately. Then Torin came in after her and walked over to where Bunz and Reese where whispering. He then ran back seeming very upset.'

Chris had heard rumors of Torin having a crush on Bunbury and wanting to use a love potion. "Torin gave you a love potion?!" he asked incrediuosly. "So that's what happened?" he then told her the memory that had flashed through his head. "Do you remember that day?" He shook his head, man that was som serious relationship trouble there. "I bet Jack will understand, he's a cool guy."
Chris then shuddered when he though of the Astronomy Lesson again, "He puked on me!! I can't believe that man puked on me!" he said horrified. "And his pants.... I think I'm scarred for life." he finished with a laugh.

Katlyn jumped and turned towards the voice. "Hey I'm Katlyn." She said to the girl. "Yea i'm in Gryffindor and I'm a first year." She said kind of excitedly. She smiled at the girl hoping to make a friend.

Eh, he'll come around. He can just be a bit of a prankster like me.

Kris grinned mischeviously as he remembered all the pranks he and his friends pulled back at Durmstrang, and the ones he was in the process of planning here.

Oohhh the good ol' days...

I've been alright. These stairs are going to KILL me though! I need to figure out some kind of spell to make me lighter, fly, or the stairs shorter...

Reese nodded her head. "I did," she stated. "It also showed that Gryffindors and Slytherin can get along." She ran her fingers through her hair as she listened to what Chris was saying about carring all his books in his hands.

Hmmmm.

"I brought an extra bag to school with me just in case something happened," she started to speak. Yeah, she was a well-prepared girl. "I can let you use it until you find your bag," she told him. "The only problem is, it's pink." Oh, well. She thought it was better to have a pink bag, then not to have a bag at all!

She blinked her eyes at Chris when he had said Torin gave her the love potion. Wooow. Chris was good. She hadn't even said who had given her the love potion. "He did," she replied. She ran her fingers through some of the cracks on the ground and then answered, "I do remember that. I remember everything that has happened since I had the love potion. But, I really wished I didn't have to remember everything."

"Puked on YOU?!" She exclaimed with disgust. "That's....nasty." True, she had been in that class, but she wasn't really paying much attention to the big, fat man until he had handed over the homework. "I think everyone is probably scared for their life after that lesson," she commented. Looking around the corridor, she said, "Talking about Astronomy, I have to get started on homework for that class. So, I should get going." She stood up from the ground and added, "It was nice talking to you Chris. And, I'll give you that bag next time I see you." With that, Reese Upstead left the corridor.

Iris made her way to the very top floor, almost dieing from climbing so many stairs ... It wasn't until this very moment that she almost tripped from exaustion on the last step that she realised exactly how no one in the school was morbidly obese ... because with the amount of food the Hogwarts students eat - nearly every single person in Hogwarts should - logically - be the size of the Knight Bus or something ...

She stopped and looked around ... She knew that weird room was round here somewhere, and that Fallon would be in there ... She walked up to the wall and leaned against it, letting herself slide down the wall until nher bum made contact with the floor. Fiddling with the hem on her bag strap, she looked at the opposite wall and wondered how exactly you got into the Room of Requirementand more importantly, what exactly had gone on with Fallon to make her want to escape to some unplottable room on the highest floor of the castle.

Something in the back of her mind lead her to believe everything had something to do with -

It's Evan! He really is trouble!
What? How can you be sure that it was Evan?
Well it wasn't that Woodcomb guy or what ever the hell his name is, was it?
The Slytherin Quidditch Captin? ... He's cute -

He's trouble. And you hate him. Which lead me to accuse him first.

Iris decided it would be best to just ignore the other voice and gazed at the opposite wall, going glassy eyed, wondering where Aaron or Evan were ...

"Nice to meet you, Katlyn!" Lucy said. She loved making new friends.
"So what are you doing up on this corridor all by yourself?" she inquired as she walked up to Katlyn.

" oh I was bored so I decided to explore the castle." Katlyn said to Lucy. " I don't have many friends to hang with so I'm by myself" she said kind of sadly and tried her best to smile. " But between you and me I'm looking for my first victim. You know since I'm bored I wanna prank somebody anybody." she smiled at Lucy and a thought came into her head. "Hey I was actually looking for a partner in crime." she said hoping she would accept the offer. "So would you be interested in helping me withthis oh so dificult situation I'm in." she said jokingly.

Aaron made his way to the top floor. He wasn't really tired because before hand, he tried to find which staircases floated upwards so he could take those. He was also a little happy/angered about his Quidditch tryout.

You were good, mate.
No i wasn't.
Yeah you were, you came in second.
Yeah, but I lost by 4 goals.
But you were so close, like within the second.
I know.
At the next tryout, show Mr. Quidditch captain why you should be on the team.
Yeah... Yeah I will!

Aaron was making his way to the room of requirement. he was supposed to be meeting Iris, Fallon, and Satine there. He figured they already in the room, when he saw Iris sitting against the wall.

"Hey," he said walking in front of her, "Need some help getting in?"

Alex smiled a little and looked up at the bird. "I hope he does.. he is so pretty, I would love to pet him." She said looking up again before moving her gaze back to Kris's. "A prankster huh? What kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into huh?" She asked as she arched an eyebrow at him.

"I know, It is pretty crazy..so many stairs.. but hey.. at least you get a work out huh?" She said laughing a little. It's no wonder there were no overweight people at Hogwarts, they were always running up and down stairs..
