Iris smiled to herself as she walked into the room, and she smiled even more when she saw two of her friends. She walked over to them, "Hi you two. You ok, Fallon? Satine?" She grabbed a pale blue beanbag and put it next to Fallon, before sitting cross legged on it, leaving room for Aaron to sit next to her.

Aaron followed Iris into the room of requirement and shut the door behind him. Hm, Fallon must have been here first. This is all of HER favorite things. He pulled a bean bag next to Iris. "Well, let's not beat around the push. Iris?" He looked at her ready for her to spill her beans.

Iris looked at Aaron with a slight look of disbelief ... Could he not see that one - Fallon clearly wasn't herself, and two - it was BOTH of them that were pretending to go out - so BOTH of them should have to explain this to Satine, but Aaron should more, seeing as though he started the whole thing, really.

She plastered a sickeningly sweet smile on her face and looked at Aaron, "Where shall I start? There is alot to tell, Yeah, maybe alot of it, you already know. But Satine doesn't. Maybe you could explain to her, briefly, what I have to tell is about?" You started it after all. She then looked at Satine, with a kind smile, hoping that she wouldn't feel left out or anything because she didn't know such a huge thing ...

Aaron was a bit confused. "Didn't we come here so you can explain to us what your brother said?" It wasn't until now that Aaron realized Fallon wasn't herself. "Oh. What's wrong?" It was Evan. That jerk! What did he do??? He then turned to Iris. "Didn't you already explain me and you to Satine?"

Ooooooooooh...
Stupid...

Iris looked at him Noow he realises. Fool. She laughed quietly. "No. We've been back a whole month and I haven't had the chance to speak to you properly, Have I Satine? ... Well ... You may as well start explaining, Aaron. I may have have been watching Evan, but you made damn sure that he thought that we were ... going out." Iris looked at him, and then to Fallon. "Actually ... Ignore that, you can explain exactly why you did it later. I wanna know what's up with Fallon, first." She smiled comfortingly at Fallon, letting her know that all three of them would be there for her.

Aaronw as about to start explaining when Iris asked Fallon first. He turned to her and waited for her story. Something happened. He needd to know what. if Evan hurt her, he was going ot jelly leg him so badly.... that... that... GAH! Aaron nodded at Fallon, too in a way that said, 'C'mon, I care.'

Fallon smiled at Satine. "Yeah. Lord Borr is totally off his rocker! I don't think I'm going to go to Astronomy anymore."

Fallon grinned as Aaron and Iris entered the room. She was glad that everyone showed up so she wouldn't have to explain things multiple times. That would just be too hard to do.

Fallon looked at everyone as they waited for her to say what was wrong. She kind of laughed at the last comment, but her smile went away when she got ready to tell them what happened.

"Okay so the other day when I disappeared on you guy's, I was hanging out with Evan down by lake." She looked at everyone's faces to judge their reactions. "We even went to dinner together and such. Well, today I went out to the Courtyard because I love this weather and it's always so peaceful out there."

Fallon looked up to make sure everyone was following where she was going. She was also thinking about how to phrase the last part.

"Evan came outside and sat on the bench next to me and we started talking. He took something I said like I wanted him to leave, which I didn't. When I told him to stay, I kind of started to blush. He asked me why," Fallon started to speed up while she was talking, "and I had to just come out and tell him that I like him. The good news is that he likes me too but he also likes that Lyra girl."

She stopped and took a deep breath, the last couple of sentences having been spoken so fast that they kind of merged together. She looked around her group of friends to see if they heard everything she said.

He slammed the Door behind him as he walked in...
He stared at them widley...
His gray Eyes reflected fear..
He hid behind objects....
So No one could find him

Satine was having a hard time following what was going on but she smiled at Iris and Aaron since it seemed they were finally official! (YAH!) She looked towards Fallon as she began talking. This didn't sound too great....she let the story sink in for a few moments and then finally spoke, "Fallon, I'm sorry...but way to go for being brave enough to just come and tell him. I'm sure that was very hard to do." although I have no idea who would even want to her that from me...Focus, Focus, Focus...."Well, he would be crazy to choose Lyra over you....I mean absolutely crazy!" she paused looking at the others to help her out...I mean she didn't have any boys even interested in her so she really didn't know what else to tell Fallon, but she knew that she needed to be supportive.

Aaron sat their listening. He saw a look at Satines face that said tha she was confused, but he decided to not point it out. "Yeah, that kid would be nuts to pick anyone besides you." Aaron then leaned in and did a sarcastic 'look around to make sure no ones looking or listening' movement and said, "And if he doesn't, I'll jinx him into next week." He then leaned back out and smiled. "And I tell you what. To level the playing field, I'll go out with Lyra," he said sarcastically. He really hoped they got that he was kidding.

You know, I've always known you were stupid, but never this stupid.

Fallon smiled at Satine. "Thanks. It was really hard to say something like that outloud. Iris was the only one I admitted it to outloud previously." She looked at Iris. "Thanks." Fallon said again not knowing what else to say as Satine said he would be crazy to choose Lyra over her, which she had to admit was nice to hear.

When Aaron agreed with Satine she began to smile. She also couldn't help but laugh when Aaron pretended to act all secretive saying that he would jinx it. Fallon knew Aaron was joking about going out with Lyra, but it was pretty funny. "Nice Aaron. Saying that you like the other girl that Evan likes right in front of me." She said sarcastically, going along with Aaron's statement. She didn't know if anyone got that she was kidding though. "Kidding!"

"Hey. I DON'T like Lyra," he said taking a quick look at Iris and then back to Fallon, "And I can't get caught up in my own drama. I'm glad to help out with yours, but I need to focus on Quidditch. My last try out was pretty good I guess, but I'm going to rock my next one." Realizing he was getting side tracked, he went back to Fallon's dilema. "You have nothing to worry about. If that Scouse," stealing Iris pet name for him, "has any sense, he's go out with you."

Fallon laughed at Aaron's little outburst. "I know you don't. I was just joking." He then went on to talk about Quidditch was still somewhere back in her mind, but buried behind all of this relationship drama, unfortunately. "Thanks. Aaron." She really didn't want to continue with this conversation. What her friends were saying made her feel better, but she couldn't talk about it anymore. "You been practicing Quidditch since we got back?" Fallon asked wondering.

Satine was lost in her thoughts and then she had a crazy idea...she dug in her bag and dug out her bag of Runes..."Okay, Fallon, let's settle this by seeing what our Runes have to say....I mean it won't hurt us to have some fun with these things at least....." she said with a mischievous smile...she wasn't really sure if Runes reading was real, but why not give it a try....

"So, let's figure out what question to ask them." she said shaking the bag....."Let's see...How bout...'Is Evan and Fallon going to have a bright future?'...yah! I think that will work." she said with a smile as she reached into the bag and pulled out the first Rune.

She glanced at her notes, "Okay this one will give us a background of the situation." she read outloud as she glanced at the Rune..."Okay it's a Runespoor so that means confusion, indecision, and possibly internal conflict." she glanced at Iris, Aaron, and Fallon to make sure they didn't think she was crazy.

"Okay, now the second rune..." she said as she reached in, "this one will represent the present...." she said as she laid the next rune to the left of the last..."It's the Demiguise....it stands for hidden mystery, unable to see something before you, and uncertainty."

"Finally, on to the third one...." she said as she reached into her bag..."It's the Graphorn...this rune stands for the focus for the future." she recited as she laid it to the left of the others. "This one stands for love, risks, and determination." she said with a smile on her face making sure that she emphasized the love part of the reading.

Satine glanced at the runes all laid out..."So, ummm....I'm not an expert but it looks like a good thing...Right?" she said questioning the others..."I mean it looks like to me that you had a great background that was full of questioning, but that right now he can't see what's in front of him, but the future may be full of love.....or yeah....that's it"

Fallon definately thought Satine's idea was different, but she didn't usually believe in that sort of thing. Then, the Runes came out in her favor. She couldn't help but smile and hope that the things they told actually would come true. "That does sound good." She looked at the Runes. "I've never really actually payed much attention on how to read these."

Satine laughed at Fallon's face..."Yea, I've never really thought these things really meant anything, but it looks like it's in the stars." she said with a small giggle..."And if the Runes say it...then it must be right..." she said with a wink.

Fallon giggled when Satine winked at her. She couldn't but blush when she thought that her and Evan were meant to be together, according to the Runes. "Gosh, it would be great if the Runes were actually right," she was talking outloud for no one in particular, more for herself.

His smile grew as Fia agreed with him and nodded, "Yup, I think this'll do." Yawning he looked at his watch, "Tomorrow? I'm a bit tired." Well that and he wanted to analyze why he cared at all about Fia liking Theo...besides the bloke being an utter spaz. Turning to look at her he smiled, "You can stay if you want...but I think I'm going to go to bed." Walking toward the table he picked up the quaffle and placed it back in the box, pushing it to the far side of the room. It wasn't likely anyone was going to stubble across it.

Walking back toward the table he picked up his broom and headed toward the door, "Night, Fi." Opening it he stopped and turned around, "Oh I almost forgot, mum's put some of that candy you like in your trunk and I swiped some of her cookies and put them in there as well." Smiling at his best friend he said, "Good night," and walked out of the room toward his common room quietly in case he got busted for being out after hours.

Iris listened to Fallon ... She felt bad for her, it must be aweful knowing that Evan liked her AND Lyra ... Fallon really seemed to like the boy, but Iris just could not see why ... Even when he was being civil for what ever reason at the study tables earlier on. He just wasn't Likeable ... like, ... at all! Iris smiled sadly, not sure of what to say that would help, then looked at her other two friends, to see if they would know the right thing to say. Well ... Satine would, at least.

Iris looked at Satine a little confused as she smiled at her and Aaron ... Did she already have some clue about what they had to tell her? ... Surely that hadn't been that ... public about it ... She listened to Satine as she gave her opinion on it ... Wow, she's got it just about right ... She's sure to make Fallon feel better just by saying that. Iris just nodded at random intervals, agreeing with Satine.

Iris was about to speak up when Aaron began to speak, smirking slightly at his threat to jinx Evan. Ooooh ... How fun that would be!

She looked at him as he carried on, and she couldn't believe what he had just said ...

But ... That means what Fallon told me wasn't true! ...
He's being sarcastic.
He doesn't sound it.
But he is. Why? ... Do you not want him to go out with Lyra?

Iris knew that the little voice was right, but that didn't stop her from blushing and finding herself unable to look Aaron in the eye. She frowned at him, raising an eyebrow before turning back to look at Fallon.

"Don't worry about it. But Satine's right ... He'd be mental if he chose Lyra over you. Your nicer ... and I'm not just saying that because your my friend, you are." Iris grinned at Fallon, still trying to get rid of the weird feelings Aaron's last comment had caused.

She listened to Fallons next comment, which completely confused her ... What? ... Not quite sure exactly what Fallon meant, she just smiled at the comment and picked at the hem on her shirt.

Iris could have held a party when Aaron said this ... Or at least grinned like a fool ... But of course she wouldn't ... The other three would giver her funny looks and ask her questions that she wouldn't know how to answer ... Like, 'Why was she grinning like that.'

How can he say that he can't get caught up in his OWN drama?! He put us both into one!

Iris sighed as Aaron began with the quidditch talk ... How long would he go on for? ... The sport was like his first love ... Thankfully, he realised that he was waffling, and smirked at him, trying not to laugh, as he went back to Fallon's problem."Aaron's Right. There's nothing to worry about. And even if there is - you've got us three to help you out."

Iris watched Satine take the Runes out and offer to use them to help her figure the situation out. She gasped as she remembered something ... That kind of tied in with all of this, instead of interupting though, Iris sat and watched Satine draw out the three runes. When she finished she said, "Satine! You've just reminded me of something that happened yesterday evening. I was in the Common Room, over at the Study Tables, just reading through all of the notes from Ancient runes and everything - When Evan came over, Threw his bag at me! ... Well, at least I thought it was deliberate, until he went to apologise ..." Iris looked at Fallon quickly before carrying on. "Anyway, He was being all civil and stuff ... So I decided to ... but it seemed like he was trying to find something out ... Like, why would he have tried to speak to me, otherwise? ... He can't stand me! ... He has every reason to, like ..."

Iris sighed. Satine still didn't know about Her and Aaron pretending to go out because of Evan ... " ... But yeah ... Then, he started trying to make me feel like an idiot, because I told him that I was doing the Ancient Runes homework ..." Iris continued speaking at a thousand words a minute, until she got to the bit in her story where, "... THEN! Evan called me Mrs. Anderson -" Iris realised that Aaron was still sat next to her and she went bright red, " ... Um ... So I asked him how he new Aaron's surname because He never even got Aarons first name right .... Then I left and dropped my copy of the Homework notice on his desk ... Patronising, you know? ... I don't know what he did with it though ... Binned it, probably."

Iris had spent so long explaining what had happened that she had forgotten why she brought it up ... Oh Yeah, that was it!"So ... Do you reckon that he was trying to find out if I knew about this? ... He wasin a pretty bad mood when he came into the Common Room." Iris looked at Aaron from the corner of her eye, wondering how he would react to the story.

Aaron watched everything happen. When Satine took out her runes he knew he was in trouble. That was his worst class. but Satine interpreted them. Aaron wasn't sure if it was good or bad. But they both seemed happy so Aaron smiled. He wanted his friends to be happy.

Aaron then listened to Iris' story.

She totally PWNED him, though.
I know, but now...GAH!!!

"He called you, WHAT???" Aaron as ticked at this boy now. But tried not to show a lot of it to Fallon. He then turned to Satine who was completely out of the loop from all of this.

"Well you see. In Diagon Alley I really wanted to mess with hm, so I pretended to be dating Iris. And now he thinks we're dating. I kind of half regret it because we have to keep this going, but it's fun..." WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, "...Messing. With... Him." That was close. You almost blurted it out. "So, yeah. Now you know." He then turned to Iris and gave her a 'Was that suffice?' look. "Now Iris, if you would, please FINALLY tell us what your brother said." He'd been dying for a month now to know what it was.

"Well, he seemed to think that were were going out before you decided to make it blatant that we were ... well ... pretending to go out ... Because you were in one of those funny moods again, when he came bursting over, remember?" Iris added this, talking to Aaron, but informing Satine more. She smiled when looked at her, giving him a look that said, 'I guess so'.

Iris looked down at her shoes when Aaron asked this, "Shall I start with how he found out about it, first?" Iris crossed her legs on her bean bag, getting comfier, she had a feeling that she would be sat there for quite a bit of time, there was alot to explain, after all.

Ok ... So ... How to start? ...
How about with "Well ... My Mum had sent Robert to Diagon -"
It was a rhetorical question, idiot.
Oh.

Iris looked up at her friends, before starting. "Well, My Mum had sent Robert to come and get me from Diagon Alley, because it was getting on a bit and stuff ... And apparently, Robert had spent ages looking for me, and when he finally found me, I was sat with you and Evan had just come over ... We couldn't see him from where we were sat, but he said that he watched us for about 15 minutes ... Meaning he saw you put your arm around me, me deciding to play along, Evan being really uncomfortable about it all ... The lot."

"So, like what all older brothers do, instead of coming over and telling me it was time to go ... He Flooed back home, absoloutly livid, ranting on at my mum, telling her everything that he saw. He couldn't hear us, or see mine and your faces ... He might have understood it quicker if he had. So ... My mum and Robert Flooed back to the Leaky Cauldron, and were waiting for me there ... So when I walked in ... I well, wasn't expecting them. My mum didn't even look angry... she looked more disapointed with me ... you know the look that sends you on a guilt trip?

Then my mum stood up and walked over to me and just said, "Right, home, young Lady - you've got alot of explaining to do." In FRENCH! ... So that Mozie or what ever the land lady is called didn't even know what she was saying ... I tried to explain to her in French why it had happened, but she wasn't having any of it."

Iris paused and looked at Aaron, to see if he was still following ... She decided she would just stop here and see if any of them were lost or anything ... She hoped they weren't.

Aaron listened and nodded.

DOH! HER BROTHER SAW ME!!!

he covered his mouth and listened. He was so embarrassed. And hefelt bad. when Aaron finished he had to say something. "Wait. Why was she mad? But more importantly, I'M SO SORRY! IT WAS MY FAULT!" It was HIS fault that she got in trouble. "I..erm..I.." He didn't know what to say else.

Iris smiled and shrugged, "I'm not quite sure ... But what ever Robert told her almost definately will not have helped ... And he'd just got himself a girlfriend ... who my mum wasn't too pleased about - Said he was too young ... and he's 16. So when he goes running home saying stuff like "OMG IRIS HAS A BOYFRIEND! I SAW THEM!" Flapping his arms around like a bat ... I think it just shocked her ... She was brought up with old French traditions ... the ones that don't let you have a boyfriend when you're twelve ... I think she was just trying to keep the French side of my family in me by teaching me these customs or something ... you know?" She looked at him as he began to apologise. "It wasn't your fault! ... Well, not completely anyway. But don't worry ... I've not finished my story, yet!" Iris grinned nervously and put her hand on his, letting him now that he didn't need to be sorry.

Aaron was so embarrassed. HE didn't believe what he was hearing. he wanted to apologize more, but Iris hand then went on his. He nodded and waited for the rest.

Iris looked at Aaron, it was obvious how mortified he was ... Iris shook her head slightly before carrying on her story.

"So, When we got home, my mum didn't even look at me, she just went straight into the kitchen, and began to put tea on. So I was left to explain to Robert. Honestly, I've never seen him so angry in my life... I didn't even get why they made such a big deal out of it! we were both stood in the Front lounge, and he walked up to me asking, ... well, demanding to know what the hell went on in the street. He's double my height, almost ... and he was really angry ... Which just made him more scary.

I didn't even know how to explain it to him. So I just ignored him ... Which made him worse ... He just kept asking me stuff like 'how long have you been going out with the kid?' and 'Have you kissed him?' ... Then I just looked at him and said ... well screamed 'I'm NOT GOING OUT WITH AARON!' ... Robert looked really shocked ... but then he got angry again ... wanting to know why I was going around getting 'cosy' with random boys on the street ... When he called you a 'random boy' I told him to sit down and listen to everything I had to say, without interupting."

Iris looked up at Aaron briefly before carrying on, "Suprisingly he did. Let me explain everything that I knew ... I couldn't explain everything though ... Like, what specifically made you want to mess with Evan. I couldn't explain because at the time, I honestly didn't know ... come to mention it ... I still don't know, really ... But once he knew, and I'd explained about how Evan came over and everything, He started to calm down ... it only took half an hour to begin to understand why we did it. Then he started saying how it was really shifty and that all of the other Slytherin's must be having a bad effect on me ... So I asked him if I'd have rather just let Evan speak to me the way he did, Robert just laughed, saying that he knew I wouldn't ever let anyone speak to me like that ... "

She looked at Aaron nervously, not sure if she wanted to tell him the next bit ... Fallon and Satine - she'd be able to tell them easily ... but telling Aaron ... not so much. " ... After we had been home about 2 hours ... my mum still wasn't talking to me, and Robert had gone from scary, to understanding to ... well ... asking for a slap. He started teasing me about it ... still does, in his letters, actually ... He kept asking me if I actually liked either of you, in this really annoying sing-song voice ... and because I'd never answer him, he'd take it as a yes and wouldn't leave me alone until I would say which one ... but there wasn't a which one to choose from ... I kept telling him that, but would he believe me? No."

"I got Robert to explain to my mum, how he'd got it all wrong and everything ... and even though my Mum was glad I didn't have a boyfriend, she was still really dissapointed with me for the reason why Robert thought I did. She didn't speak to me for the whole week before I left to come back to school ... Even when she dropped me off at the Train Station ... " Iris looked at the wall straight ahead of her, not wanting to look any of them in the eye, because she knew she wouldn't be able to hold any of the tears back if she did. "She ... She'd use her patronous if ... if she needed ... to speak to me or ... Or she'd get robert ... to tell me what ever ... it was, if he was ... in ... " Iris couldn't hold back any tears any longer ... She hadn't told any of her friends this at all, and the impact hadn't fully hit her yet, because of it. She let a single tear roll down her cheek, waiting for the others to say what they would. She didn't have anything left of her story anyway.
