Iris turned back to face Aaron. "The kitchens are near the Hufflepuff common room, I overheard some older Slytherins talking about it earlier in the year, (OOC=this is a blatant lie but we'll all get over it ;D) they were saying that all you had to do to get in was tickle a painting of a pair or something... I pretty sure thats what they said." Iris looked at him to see if he believed her. "I think they willl... From what it says in some of the Biographies of ex-students, Like Harry Potter - yes, I've read a few of them - it says that the House Elves love giving away the food... So lets just hope that they haven't changed their attitudes in the last few years, eh? Other wise we'll be cooking the lot ourselves." Iris thought about it for a while ... maybe it wasn't the best idea, but it was all they had to go for at that moment. "Lets worry about that later on though ... we need to get this room perfect today, so that we can come back on monday and it just be there, ready for the food to go out." Iris looked at him in the eyes and smiled slightly, scared that she seemed a bit ... bossy.

Evelyn smiled when he first started to speak, agreeing with him in her thoughts. She liked that he was the only one that called her Rose, which also made him special to her. But as he went on about his sister, her smile faded as she watched his expression and listened to him speak. She could not recall if he ever spoke about his sister dying before. Maybe when they met in Diagon Alley? In fact, she couldn't remember anything about what happened there. 'That's...weird.' she thought, glancing at the fire with a frown for a moment.

"I'm really sorry about your sister." she said in a quiet whisper, squeezing his hands softly and looking up at him. He didn't seem upset or anything when talking about his sister, but maybe... Mentally shaking her head so get out of the thoughts that would upset her, she gave him a warm and comforting smile, moving forward and hugging him. "I love that you are the only one to call me Rose. Destiny just mentioned something the other day about it, and it made me curious."

''Thanks. It's really alright now. I got the necessary treatment and mom said she died bravely. She was a Gryffindor and so i'm proud to be one...though mom is a little bit annoyed by that as she stated in her letter.'' He laughed when he remembered the reply he wrote to her. He was going to be punished for that once he was back from Hogwarts but it was funny, so did worth it. Josh was happy that he was not a Ravenclaw of course, if they were all like his mom, their common room was probably like some smaller library for the school. Boring. Fatally boring.

Hopefully he was not living in a library and he had Rose, so school was great unlike he had thought of it before. Maybe he would not have taken her attention if he was a Ravenclaw, would he? Making this a mental note to ask her later on, he stared into her beautiful hazel eyes and his small smile widened when he hugged her back. ''And i'm glad to hear that i'm still the only one to call you Rose and it even took Destiny's attention. Otherwise i think i might feel the need to give you a funny nickname to be the only one call you with a different name.''

'Necessary treatment?' That did not sound good to her, making her frown even more for a moment. "Why would your mom be annoyed that you are in Gryffindor? At least you aren't in...Slytherin or something. Probably be really mad then." she finally let a smile slip on her face, poking his ribs playfully. Though, having Josh in Slytherin house would be so much easier, at school and with her parents. She definitely was going to have 'a talking to' when she got home for the summer.

'Maybe my uncle will be able to kidnap me.' she thought, smiling at the memory of reading that her uncle would be picking her up from the train station. The warm fire and happy thoughts were actually making her a little tired as well. Looking down at the ground while hearing Josh speak, she debated whether or not to sit down. "And what kind of nickname would you give me?" she laughed, moving away from the hug and finally just sat down.

''She was expecting me to be a Ravenclaw. And probably would be happier if i was sorted into Slytherin. It's not about the house rivalry or being disinherited. She believes Gryffindors lack the understanding of discipline and are lax when it comes to studying and classes. And so this would make me more out of control while she already has difficulties with it.'' She truly did and he knew sometimes he was playing hard on her but everybody knew he hated rules and did not want to live in a sort of discipline in his whole life. She was going to accept the reality that Josh could not be put into some exact boundaries of authority sooner or later.

And Rose was a Slytherin girl who carried all the qualities Slytherins did as far as Josh was concerned except the sick sides of the snakes. She was smart, ambitious, hardworking...etc and was the top Slytherin student. He was sure Amelia would love her as a daughter. When she poked him he laughed some and started to play with her hair as he always liked to do for some reason. ''Hmmm the nickname. Maybe somethnig like sweet snakey drop, if something like that is ever possible. Its long yes so you can use it as name, middle name and last name. Everybody knows i am not to creative when it comes to finding nicknames''

Sylvia snickered at Brody's frown, she loved taunting people. Sylvia linked arms with Brody and began walking over to Torin. "I got him a giant, rainbow coloured lollipop. I saw it in Honeydukes, you think he might like it?" Who wouldn't? Every kid loved sweets, even Sylvia knew that.

Once they made their way past thousands of fan girls, Sylvia smiled and unlinked arms with Brody. "Happy Birthday old man." She laughed and handed him the gift bag with the gigantic lolly inside.

"Hmm, well that definitely describes you." she teased, a playful smile playing on her lips. Patting the ground next to her, wanting Josh to sit instead of stand there, she stared into the fire, watching the flames dance to their own rhythm. Hearing what nickname he would give her, she smiled a little, hypnotized by the flames and his voice combined, unblinking. "I think that's a very creative name. Only you would think of some name like that." she tore her gaze away from the fire and turned to him. Well, it really was a random name so technically, Josh was the only person that would think of that.

"So my first name would be Sweet." Evelyn smiled, leaning back on her hands. "Do you like that name better than Rose?" A question that came out of no where and that she probably already knew the answer to.

''Describes me? Really?'' laughing as he sat down next to there before the fire, he put and an arm around her shoulders as usual. Maybe he should have said lovely instead of sweet. But both could not describe her better and what was a 'snakey drop' for Merlin's sake? 'Maybe i should just shut up and enjoy the moments with her. Term is ending...' Hopefully the name did not annoy her, better than that she said it was creative.

''I like anything about you'' he replied, of course he did, even the Slytherin green on her uniform though he used to dislike the colour green. But he could not tell he liked the dungeons anyway, maybe it'd take some time before he got to like inside there when he should spend some time there with her. ''I already sometimes call you Sweet but that's not so original then i say Rose is better.'' he looked at her face and smiled ''I know i do not have the right to ask a question because i lost the game but can i kiss you again?'' please...''Please''

"Of course." she said happily, staring into the fire. "Aren't all Gryffindors supposed to like...not follow rules? And I don't think they are known for their studying." she giggled, trying to think of what a Gryffindor is supposed to be. Kinda hard when you are the complete opposite. Oh wait..."More brave and joking nature than anything. Or, nowadays, known for mingling with the snakes." Not that she minded of course.

'Not everything.' she thought distractedly, almost as if it really wasn't her thinking. Scooting closer to him when she felt his arm around her shoulder, if that was even possible, his warmth seemed to calm her down immediately, feeling comfortable and at ease. Finally! She could act normal around him now and not all...tense and fidgety. And there was no one around. Wait...oh wow, there was no one...around.

Hmm? Did he just ask...? Trying her hardest not to laugh at his question, she shook her head slightly at how he would even think the need to ask. "Josh, you're..." she started, but another small laugh escaped, having to make her pause a moment for it to pass. "Such a gentlemen for asking. You don't need to ask, if you could kiss me."

Shana watched all the people in the room around her move. They all moved so fast and Now Torin was here. She held his present in her hands shaking it about, she was trying to figure out what it was. It felt like chirstmas but only difference was the present wasnt hers. She held it out for Torin to take before smiling."I kinda forgot what it was." She blushed. "But it makes a cool sound."

Warren looked up at Torin and sighed. ''I think its because of Brody..'' he whispered.. He gathered that Alex found it awkard by Brody just being here. ''Shes finding it awkard.. ''

He still had his mind on Alex when suddenly he was being given more gifts. Well, at least he was handed something by Sylvia. And Shana was waving something at him.

He placed the gifts on the ground and took the gift from Shana. "It must be something if you can't remember what it is," he told her with a wink.

Then he noticed that Brody seemed to have something heavy in her arms. "Yes, I think I want my gift from you 'cause it looks like it's too heavy for you." he took it out of her arms.

Wow.. it actually was a bit heavy.

He nodded at Warren. He wasn't the only one thinking that. "She's upset 'cause of what Brody had written on Twitter, I think."

Warren looked at Torin puzzled... ''Twitter? whats she been saying.. i haven't really seen much of twitter lately'' It reminded him to go on and talk to Lucille.. and find out what shes up too..

Aaron listen to Iris. "Oh. Really? Well, it is right under the great hall, so that makes sense..." Aaron nodded. "Yeah, let's plan it out." Aaron was ready to give commands, but he stopped. "Erm, what would Fallon want?"

''Hmmm...'' Josh seemed to be in deep thoughts about what Gryffindors were known for... being brave, daring... and no one in his house was too hardworking and they were always playing around. Everyone knew how to enjoy themselves in there. ''I suppose you are right and yes'' he smirked ''mingling with the snakes. I heard that at older times Gryffindors and Slytherins used to be quite unfriendly to each other. So i'm glad that i am living in my period of time'' Though he still had not forgotten that 'Gryffindork' word Evan and Lyra called him. With Evan, on the other hand, things did not have much relation with house rivalry. They did not like each other since the first meet in the Diagon Alley. 'Forget them!' He yelled at himself when he realised he had started to waste those precious moment with Rose with memories about Evan. Yuck!

She said he was a gentlemen and he laughed ''Thanks but don't say that. Maybe sometime you won't be in the mood. There are times when people do not want to kissed or even being talked to, are not there? I'd understand if you'd not want me to kiss you or see me around. Girls are hard to understand, their mood do change a lot and annoying you should be really dangerous...'' he approached and kissed her ''...i think''

She had to agree with what he said about the older times. Even her parents were strictly against being close to any Gryffindors, throwing their own belief onto her. She was skeptical at first, meeting Josh in Diagon Alley. He definitely wasn't the Slytherin type and she had known nothing but Slytherin ways since until then. Well now her parents can just forget trying.

He was right again. There would be probably a time where she just wanted to be alone, but she couldn't see that happening any time soon."Maybe sometime yes, but right now you don't need to worry." she laughed, before he kissed her. She felt light again, like a weight was lifted off her shoulders and in her mind. Especially in her mind. "You think? So you aren't sure...?" she asked, a playful twinkle in her eye, placing another small quick kiss on his lips and laying her head on his shoulder, scooting closer still.

Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she noticed that she actually felt tired and felt as if she was able to fall asleep. Which was new... Well, new for this year. Letting a sigh of content escape her lips, she stared into the fire. The two warmest and most treasured things in her life next to, and with, her. Now if the world would just pause so this moment would last longer, so far, it couldn't get anymore perfect. A nice feeling and thought to know.

Brody smiled as Sylvia linked arms with her, but it didn't make carrying the huggge present for Torin any easier. She would be much happier. "Oooh....He'll love that." Brody nodded with a smile. As long as he shared it with her. If it was giant there'd be enough for her aswell right. "You better get me something good like that." She grinned at Sylvia. She already knew that Sylvie would get her an awesome present. What were best friens for really?

"It is heavy" Brody giggled, as she handed the present over. "opeen it Opeeen it" Brody giggled, clapping her hands in an odd way. "You'll like it." Brody smiled as she glanced at Sylvia. Actually she was quite glad that Alex was gone now. She probably wouldn't like the present that she'd gotten Torin.

To be frank Josh could not say he favoured Slytherin before he met any...before he met Rose. His cousin was always bothering him about it, annoying little worm. And also there was the truth that his mom's family was a almost all Slytherin one and kicked her out for marrying a Muggle. If they kicked her because she married his father then it meant Ravenclaws did not bother Slytherins much. So would it have been better with Rose if he was a Ravenclaw as his mother wished? But Rose liked him as a Gryffindor, she did, did not she?

''But promise to make it easy for me to understand when you want to be alone.'' he said with a serious expression ''I know it is not in my nature to leave people alone and stop annoying them like i do with Destiny but she is a laugh, anyway. I would never want to annoy you. You say 'Come here Josh' and i'm there, say 'Go away Josh' and i'm nowhere'' That was true, maybe they were going out but it did not mean that the status made them siamese twins maybe he could think of that kind of a relationship when he was going to be married but there was a great, way great deal of time till thah happened. If he could live that long, of course. Her question came when he brushed her hair some ''No, i'm not sure. Still cannot decide between dangerous and fatal.'' She was duelling well so she could hex well. He could not help smirking happily when she kissed him ''Maybe fatal but who cares? You are sweet enough to take that risk''

Sylvia glanced at the big present that Brody gave to Torin, as she also handed over the giant lollipop. "Sorry I didn't wrap it, I tried." She smiled. It was difficult to wrap a thing which was circular with a stick, he would have known what it was anyway. Sylvia, yet again, looked over at the present again. "What did you get him?" She whispered and nudged Brody.

Make it easy on him? He would definitely know if she wanted to be alone or not without her even saying. Buuut, she would be nice about it. Or at least try to be when that time came.

When Josh said he wasn't sure if girls were just dangerous or fatal, she had to laugh. "I think both." she snickered, making a little invisible circle on his knee with her finger, but suddenly paused when he said she was 'sweet enough to take that risk'. She was going to argue back that she wasn't sweet at all, really the opposite, but she didn't want to ruin the moment. If he wanted to believe that, than she would let him. He was too important to her and she just got him, way to soon for her to lose him.

Lifting her head to look at him, her eyes drifted to the burn on the side of her neck. She couldn't remember if he said anything about how he had gotten it. Thinking hard....no. She couldn't remember. Not wanting to ask though, she kissed his cheek instead and stood up, moving closer to the fire. Her hands were still a bit cold, and moving them closer to the fire hopefully would warm them up. Well enough to keep them warm for a few minutes that is, but she also didn't want Josh to see her expression which was probably less than happy at the moment. Now if she could just remember things... such as Diagon Alley and other conversations she had with Josh, that would be great.

''Both...hmm...but as i said i dont care. I don't mind danger. '' Despite his age he was feeling like ready to face any danger since that specific day. And there was also the things his mom told him the day she saw him and Rose together in Flourish & Blotts, that she looked like a child of those wealthy and cruel pureblood families and he could be hurt again either physcially or emotionally if he got too friendly with her...to friendly...he had jumped a little bit beyond this and he did not care who said what.

However there was still that question in his mind as when she kissed him again he decided to ask it away. There was nothing more important than her and he did not want any unanswered annoying questions about her in his mind. After watching her stood up and walked closer to the fire, he remained still for a moment or so thinking of the question. ''Rose...'' he began as he stood up after her and glancing back at the crates 'Why they are there?' Anyway... ''Rose do you thnigs things would have been easier if i was a Ravenclaw as my mom wanted? Do you wish i was in another house''

There was no doubt in her mind that things would be easier if he was in another house other than Gryffindor. Sighing, she nodded and crossed her arms, hanging her head a little in shame. Not because of him or his question, but because of her family and their 'ways'. "Yes, things would be a lot easier." she mumbled quietly, staring intently into the fire. "My parents, my family, have all been in Slytherin and known to not be...associated...with Gryffindors." She tried to explain in a nice way. A typical Slytherin family in the older days. "They found out that I still hang around you and such. And know what had happened in the courtyard. They aren't..."

What could she say? That they hate him? Want to curse him into next year? Make him wish he was never born? She definitely couldn't say that. "But I don't care Josh. I really don't care what they think." Which was true. She stopped caring a long time ago. "And no, I don't wish you were in any other house. That would mean you would probably be different than you are now, and I don't want you to change."

He just stared at the fire like she was doing when she confirmed his ideas about being in a different house. Things would have been easier but he definitely did not want to be in any other house. There was no way he could adapt, fit in them. He had to tell his mother that non-Ravenclaws were not idiots and tell Rose's parents that Gryffindors were actually the best for their daughter to hang around. 'We are protective, are not we? A Slytherin boy friend would run away without even watching his back if she should be in danger'. Hopefully Rose was agreeing him about being a Gryffindor. She liked him as he was and there could be a better thing than that.

''But how do they know about the courtyard?'' he asked. That was confusing. ''Are not they far away from here? They are not in the castle, are not they? They cannot watch us.'' So, how come they knew? Were they that powerful to see or feel everything they did. Could they also see what they were doing now? Was he really in danger? Nah, if Rose did not care, he was not going to pay any attention or maybe... ''Honey, cannot we talk to them?'' he said in a sudden like it was a brilliant idea ''Tell them that i am no harm to you''

Iris walked back into the Room of Requirent to find the room exactly as she and Aaron had left it: Half decorated and full of blue print lines. She sighed and smiled as she followed some of the lines with her eyes. She could just figure out a dance floor would be. Other than that though, it made no sense at all. Um ... Room. It would be pretty good if you could like ... poof the room into how ever Aaron wanted it to be when he made the blue prints.

She watched as the room transformed into a miniture, modern ball room ... kinda like those ones you see in ancient movies, only modernised. It was hopefully the kind of thing that Fallon would like. "Wow... This is awesome." she muttered to herself.

She picked up the bag of food that she'd gotten from the house Elves. Nice things them elves. They like to give away food. Nice food, too. After nearly getting crushed by the bag as she tried to pick it up, she dragged it across the room. Ten minutes later, all of the food was out on the table. She checked her watch, hoping that Satine had remembered to get that cake from her Aunty. They were kinda stuck if she forgot.

A few more thoughts to the room and a thousand helium, multi-coloured balloons later, Iris looked around the room. "Wicked. Now just my outfit ... and for everyone to turn up... " Iris took her dress out of her bag and walked over to the girls' loo's that had appeared at some point.

Iris walked out of the loo's and made sure her dress looked OK in the reflection of one of the shiny walls, turned on the muggle jukebox thing and sat on the floor cross legged, waiting for Satine to turn up with the cake.

OOC = If I'm not here when you all RP your charries getting here (chances I won't be), just pretend I still am. ;P

Satine hurried up to the room of requirement as quickly as she could while balancing the cake. She glance down quickly at her dress and shoes and gave a quick nod of approval. She was relieved to wake up this morning with her signature purple hair. She was hoping to turn someone...well anyone's head tonite...since it was obvious she was a late bloomer in her class and group of friends when it came to relationships.

She did the routine to get in. Her breath was instantly taken away when she saw the beautiful ballroom that the ROR had created for the event. There were balloons everywhere and the lighting was all rainbow colors. It was inspiring. And the dance floor was amazing....

She balanced her way into the room and smiled at Iris in her beautiful dress. After placing the cake down on a table to the left side of the room, she smiled, "Wow, that dress is beautiful!" she said with a wink.

Instantly Satine went into event planning and decorating mode and started getting everything situated. She went by the front door and placed down a guest book and a picture frame for those entering to sign. She put a variety of colors of quills beside the picture so it would be as equaly colorful as the event. She headed back to the cake table and arranged the napkins and silverware around the cake and began lighting candles around the room. She finished the gift table with a colorful centerpiece of flowers and candles. Finally she put together the punch table and finally glanced around with a smile.

She finally took her place by the door at the hostess table and smiled. It was more than perfect!!!! She hoped everyone enjoyed themselves.
