Okay. Some. Random boy that Livvy didn't know. He had pretty rad hair though. It was curly and dark and he looked like da 'broody' type. All observations and some inferences. But it didn't matter. There was time for mingling with people she had never met later. For now.... attention to ze HOOOOOOSST!

"Good to see you too!" Livvy said, cheerfully and then glanced down at her dress at Reese's compliment. Yes. She liked the dress herself. But shouldn't it be about time that she grew out of it? "Thank you very much Reese! You look quite lovely, yourself," she said in return. Livvy just smiled and nodded at the boy that stood next to her. And then her attention was directed to the girl that walked in.

WHITWHITWHITWHITTT!.

She grinned at her friend and replied, "Hey Whit! Lookin' goooood." Ooh! Cake! Yummmmehhh. Livvy waited for it to be taken away by Reese and then made her way over to Whit and gave her a big fat hug. "I haven't seen you for sooooo long."

Livvy turned her head slightly to look over at Reese when she asked a question. She shrugged and shook her head. "Sorry. I saw him yesterday..." What was a birthday party when the birthday boy wasn't there? A party. Just a party. UNCOOl. She hoped that Torin would be able to get here soon.

"Oh hello Jack!" she said, smiling at him as she pulled away from Whit's embrace.

Reese, who was dragging Torin by the hand, went all the way down the empty corridor until she came across the empty wall. Letting go of the Hufflepuff hand, she stared at the empty wall for a moment until a door appeared. Before she opened the door, she turned back to face Torin. "Do you really think I would forgot your birthday again, Torin?" She questioned him. Raising her eyebrow, but not waiting for him to answer, she back turned around and opened the door to reveal the room that everyone was standing in. The room with the disco ball and disco floor that lite up!

"Happy 16th Birthday, Mr. Greek Boy," she said with a smile.

Okay, why was Reese dragging him over to the Room of Requirement? Did she want to talk to him about something in a really really private room? Like the one that he had used when he had told her about the body that he had found?

He was about to ask her what was up when she told him that she hadn't forgotten his birthday after all.

REESE HAD REMEMBERED HIS BIRTHDAY!!!

He was about to scream and hug her when the door opened and he saw his friends were in there. And the room was a dance floor!!

"Oh my God!!" he exclaimed in shock before grabbing Reese and picking her up off the floor in a huge hug.

She was late. Adrienne had gotten distracted by, among other things, her pygmy puffs, which she'd been kind of neglecting lately due to classes, Quidditch, and the vague sense of something wrong in her head. Not to mention the fact she still didn't know where Chloe was, and term was almost over. But long story short, she had almost forgotten Torin's party. At least she was on the same floor, so maybe she could make it there before she was way too late.

Having changed into a simple black dress and wearing her black and gold YSL sandals, since she figured nobody could have too many problems with it as a party outfit, she had grabbed the small golden gift bag that held Torin's gift (some chocolate frogs, toast she'd absconded with from the Great Hall, and a couple books) then darted out of the common room, tousled hair flying. Only to see Reese dragging Torin toward the Room of Requirement, at which point she slowed down and hid the bag behind her back. Apparently she wasn't going to be as late as she thought, if he was only showing up now. She'd miss the surprise part, but not much she could do about it now.So once she got to the room, she tried to slip past Reese and Torin at the door. Maybe no one would notice, as long as she stuck to the shadows at first.

Reese was quite proud of herself. Wanna know why? One, she was able to keep this whole thing a secret even though she had to kind of pretend she forgot his birthday, which hurt him. Two, the room in front of her was marvelous. She wished she could have her 18th birthday here, but sadly, she arrived at school on her birthday and by the time the feast was over, it was bedtime. So, she really couldn't have her party here unless she had a late birthday party.

She took her attention off the room and looked towards Torin. "You're welcome," she said with a large smile. When the Hufflepuff pulled her in a hug that had her lifted off the ground, she just wrapped her arms around the boy. "So, I'm taking it that you really like this surprise party idea," she told him. "Now, there's one other surprise." She paused for a second and then added, "You want to see you birthday present?" The Slytherin has noticed someone sneak into the room, but didn't quite see who it was. She raised an eyebrow, but it didn't quite bother her since she figured it had to be one of Torin's friend. His friends were the only ones that knew about the party, right?

Whit was glad to have been able to make the cake for Torin seeing as she didn't think her gift to him was all that great. She couldn't help it if she had had absolutely no idea what to get him, she just didn't really know what he liked other than orange and chocolate frogs. Hopefully he would like her gift and card though.

Once Reese left the room to go get Torin, Whit was attacked by a girl in a black dress and converse. "Livvy?!?!" She asked in shock, hugging her back tightly (thought not TOO tightly). Whit tilted her head and laughed, "You're lookin' good yourself! I love your shoes by the way." That was definitely Livvy's style alright. She was lucky, she didn't have to walk in three inch heels everywhere she went. "Yeah, I know, where have you BEEN???" It seemed like she hadn't seen Livvy since her second year at Hogwarts, when they had met.

She looked around the room, amazed with what Reese had thought up. A disco ball, a dance floor that lit up, it was perfect. 'We should play Dance Dance Revolution!' Assuming she wasn't the only one who knew what that was. Just then the doors opened and Reese was standing there with the birthday boy!!! Whit started to run towards him but seeing as she didn't want to fall flat on her face, she took off her shoes, making her 5'1 all over again, and ran towards Torin, giving him a huge hug. "HAAAAPPY BIIIIIRTHDAAAAY, MR. FANTA!!!" She couldn't believe it. Her "little" boy was finally growing up.

When Reese left Brody knew who she'd gone to get, and an odd sensation was filling her. Was she actually nervous? She didn't know if Torin would want her here. Sure they were friends, but it was still really awkward. His new girlfriend was here too, would she of all people want her here? She was the ex-girlfriend for heaven's sake.
But the Torin was here, and for once in her life she didn't have the gut reaction to go and hug him. She just stood back, and let everyone else do it, smiling at him a little. Happy birthday Torin? She didn't even say it. Maybe he would be happy she was here though...they were friends now.

Alex watched as Torin came in, and then as girls flung themselves at her boyfriend. She did not follow their example though. She hung back, and watched. Almost wishing she hand't come at all. Sure she was his girlfriend and had a right to be there, but all those other people that were there probably did not want her there. Tammy, Brody, Whitney.. She was sure if Sylvia had appeared she wouldn't want her to be around either..

Alex was so tempted to just sneak out around the crowd.. and head out the door.. But then Torin would get mad at Reese for her not being there. She sighed.. Perhaps she could tell Torin she did not feel well? Maybe that would work? Hmmm..

Well for now she would just hide in the corner, until she figured out what to do.. she should have worn a black dress to blend in a little..

He twirled Reese around once in happiness. He couldn't believe that she had managed to fool him so good. She had actually got one over him for once. But he wasn't complaining really, seeing as he got cake and presents. And there were people that he loved there too.

"You are amazing, Reese!! I can't wait to see what you -" The rest of what he was trying to say was drowned out by Whit, who had run up to him and grabbed him into a hug. "Thank you, Fanta Girl." He smiled at her before turning his gaze around the room.

There was Alex, but she seemed that she looked a bit uncomfortable. She didn't really know any of his friends here. Well, all that would change soon. He put Reese down and gently pulled out of Whit's hug.

He walked over to his girlfriend, smiling. "You look really nice." Hopefully she wouldn't feel so odd once he introduced her to some more people.

He noticed Brody on the other side of the room. "Brody, you came!" he called out with a smile. He had no idea that she would come to his party.

Sylvia had no idea that this room existed, but that's what came with attending Hogwarts right? Suprises, nearly every week of the month. But it was nice, much nicer than the mundane realism of her home, or the muggle life.

Sylvia smoothed out her lipstick so it looked more like a blended colour, rather than block. She was here to have fun, for Torin. She couldn't be sinical for no reason ALL the time. It was a shame that she hadn't arrived with Brody, though it was nice to not have to worry if Brody was going to change her mind at the last minute and start walking backwards, away from the room of requirement. Sylvia could see that happening.

She was going to wish the birthday boy a happy birthday. Gosh, for the next few months, there would be two years between them, until July, where she would be fifteen. Sylvia couldn't wait to be older. She watched as Torin greeted a blonde haired girl before continuing to greet other fangirls. But this one didn't seem to pleased to be here. It was like the FIRST GIRL Sylvia had ever seen who looked miserable in the presence of Torin. Assuming that she was the girlfriend (because only the GF of the stud would be miserable), Sylvia walked over to her, attempting to smile. "You're not meant to look miserable at birthday parties." Sylvia folded her arms and smirked. "I'm guessing you're Torin's girlfriend; .... " She waited for her to say her name for Sylvia, as she had no idea.

Alex attempted to smile at Torin, she was way out of her league here. "Thanks." She said softly. "So do you." She added..

Alex turned her head and watched as another beautiful blonde girl entered the room and walked right up to her. She smiled a little at her first remark. "Yes, I know I am not, but I can't help but feeling every girl in this room wants my place.." She laughed.. "Yes, can you tell?" She asked. "I am Alexandrina Kensington, Alex or any other name you cane make from mine.. For short." She tilted her head.."Are you Sylvia?" She asked taking a wild guess..

Warren watched as Torin came in with the hugest shock on his face! it was soo good he wished he brought his camera. ''Hey Dude! Happy birthday'' he repeated. It was tempting to give Torin a birthday hug.. but that would look weird.. ''Hows your day been mate?'' he asked with a massive grin on his face.

When Torin saw that she was here Brody gave a little wave and a small smile. He looked surprised that she was here. Did she really portray an image of not coming to parties? She motioned for him to come over to her. She wanted to give him his present, but she sort of wanted it to be a private moment. It was kind of symbolizing something for her, over the past few months she had really considered not giving it him, but something Professor Morgan had told her, had made her change her mind. She shouldn't let the break up hold her back from being friends with him. The one thing though was she didnt know what she was going to actually do until he came over. But then the best person came through the door...

...and went straight over to Torin's new girlfriend. Brody stood with her mouth open. Had her best friend really just walked straight past her? Sylvia must not have seen her.
"Syylvviee" Brody smiled, as she took Torin's present off of that Warren dude, thanked him with a smile, and shuffled over to Sylvie, and that Alex girl. "You're heere." She then continued to give her bestie a sort of wierd one armed hug.

Warren watched Alex.. he couldn't feel that something was up? He hated his friends being in this situation. Warren walked up to Alex and put his hand on her back. ''Hey, you ok? you look a lil down?'' he said giving a faint smile. ''Im always here for you.. you know that right? you can tell me anything'' Warren wasn't sure what else to say.. he wasn't sure if it was his place to ask.

"I doubt it." Sylvia smiled a little, feeling sorry for the girl. She wasn't sure herself whether all the girls in this room wanted Torin, she certainly didn't. Sylvia had other people on her mind. Anyway, she didn't want to blurt something stupid out to make her feel worse, so she kept what she thought to herself. "People are just ... extra friendly when it comes to Torin. Don't take it as they want him." She giggled a little. 'want him', hehehe.

"Wow. That's a mouthful, I think I will call you Alex." Hope she didn't mind, she would forget what he full name was in a few minutes anyway. "I am indeed. You've heard of me already?" Probably because she was the ex's bezzie. Ha.

Speaking of Bezzies, Sylvia hadn't realized she was here. She was quite surprised she was here actually, but she could do whatever she wants. "Hiiii." Sylvia embraced the one armed hug. How weird. And turned to Alex again. "This is .. umm .. Brody, my best friend." GAH. Surely they knew who each other were. This was soo embarrassing.

Alex breathed a little sigh of relief as Sylvia spoke. Extra friendly, she could handle that. But it was the whole "want him" Thing that had her worried.. "Extra friendly, I can handle that." She said as her eyes darted over to Torin, and then back to Sylvia. She could practically feel her heart beat double as Brody walked over to them.. Merlin! This is awkward!!

"Alex is fine, That is what everyone else calls me, except for my family, but then again, family always has odd names for you." Great Alex, you are rambling.. Really Brilliant.. "Yes actually, Torin has mentioned you a few times." She said smiling, sure it was about him possibly liking her, but she did not need to know that..

Alex tried so hard not to look like she was going to pass out when Brody came over, Just breathe Alex, and be nice!! "Hello Brody, it is nice to meet you." She said softly in a kind voice. Ex girlfriend, meet new girlfriend.. GAHHH awkward.. Alex wished the floor would swallow her up at that moment.

Finally it clicked.. Alex was feeling awkard because of Brody! Ahh now lets be the nice lad that i am aye Waz? YES!
Warren looked at Alex and then at Brody, he nodded at Alex in a sign of.. ' i know whats up dont worry im here ' he put his arm around here for comfort.. he hoped that Torin didn't think that he was stealing his girlfriend! he was just being her good mate that he was. ''Shh its ok, im here'' he whispered.

It felt like forever since Livvy had last seen Whit. Last year was filled with OWL exams so she barely ever had time to go out, plus she had still felt guilty over what had happened. She didn't think that Whit even knew. No matter. It was in the past and what good would come of it by saying it now? Absolutely nothing. That's what. For now, Livvy would just cherish the moment and the reunion. "Why thank you. I rather like 'em myself," she said, grinning. She never went ANYWHERE with shoes that weren't flat. She was too clumsy for shoes that had heels more than a few inches thick. She'd fall. And break her neck. And DIE.

PSH. Where had LIVVY been? Where had SHE been? "I've been hanging around. Where have YOU been?" she exclaimed. Well. Actually... there was the whole Rachel/Reid drama, but thank merlin that was over with. She'd have to visit Reid for a bit. Have some... heart-to-heart discussion or something so they could settle their differences and stop acting like complete fools.

EEP. Torin was here!

But everyone was crowding around him already. POUT. Livvy stood there for a moment waiting for the hugs to be over with before she moved in herself. "Happy Birthday Brain Twin!" she yelled out grinning as she went over to give him a big fat hug also. NOW it was a birthday party.

Crossing over one corner of the dance floor, the lights picking up the gold trim on her shoes, Adrienne turned her head slightly at the sound of people greeting Torin. Apparently she had actually managed to get inside without being noticed, and a smile crept onto her face before it faded just as quickly. Now that she had, she almost wished she hadn't, and she wasn't about to shove her way up to Torin to give him his present. So now what was she supposed to do?

She only knew a few people there, and most of them were in the throng gathered around Torin. So that was out. This was one reason she always felt awkward at parties, because she didn't like hiding in the shadows but half the time people didn't notice her anyway. It was kind of the deathday party all over again, hopefully without any of the drama that she had witnessed then.

Brody glanced at Alex, then looked back at Sylvia. So this was rather awkward. But she wasn't going to play with it. This was for Torin, someone who used to be so close to her, and she was not going to ruin his party. "I thought you wouldn't come and then I'd be on my own" She whispered into Sylvia's ear, as they hugged. She should have known that Sylvie would come, she wouldn't leave her or Torin. "Do you wanna come with me so I can give this to Torin?" She motioned to the rather heavy present.

Then Alex was speaking to her. She smiled at the girl. She was being nice. "Hey Alex. Yes It is nice to meet you." Nothing awkward what so ever. Everything was fine, but she still slipped her hand into Sylvias. For reassurance?

"No, you look much better," he told Alex as she looked at what she was wearing. "Very beautiful." How lucky he was to have a girl as pretty as she was. And she didn't even have to use her powers to be charming to him.

He was about to ask her if she wanted to meet some of his friends when suddenly there were a bunch of people around. Sylvia was there and chatting to Alex. He smiled at the Slytherin and decided to let them get to know each other. They seemed to hit it off okay.

But then Brody walked over.

He had a feeling that this could go rather awkward, but at least Brody and Alex were trying to get along. "It's nice to see you again," he said to his ex as she sided up to Sylvia. Seemed like a natural reaction to things.

And Warren was being supportive to Alex. It was a relief that there was a good friend to his girlfriend at the party to make her a bit more comfortable. "Thanks, mate. It's a great birthday so far. Love the hoodie." He smiled as he looked down at the shirt that he was wearing.

"Hey, Brain Twin!" he called out as he hugged Livvy. YAY for squishy hugs.

Alex smiled at Warren, glad that he was here for her. But she needed to get out of here. All the fan girls mobbing Torin, and the ex standing next to her was a little too much for her to handle. She smiled at Brody. "It is nice to meet you as well." Her smile was warm, and in truth she felt so enmity towards the girl at all. She was just another girl who liked Torin, Alex could relate to that.

She looked up at Torin, smiled and then backed away from the group. "Well, if you all would excuse me, I have had a long day, and I need to retired to my room. It was nice meeting you all." She addressed the room in general.. Then backed up, and walked quickly out of the room.

Practically running allll the way from hogsmeade, all the way to the castle, all the way up to the seventh floor...*DEEP BREATHE...side ache* "Here." she said, pointing to the blank wall opposite her before leaning against the one behind her, scooting down until she was sitting on the floor.

Maybe running all the way here wasn't such a good idea, but Evelyn was really excited to show Josh that she found the Room of Requirement. "Think of something...and walk back and forth three times." she said, a little out of breathe. Closing her eyes, she smiled a small and content smile, waiting for Josh to do what she said. Or ask what she was talking about...either one.

And they ran nearly all the way from The Three Broomsticks and to the seventh floor close to the Gryffindor tower. And they were straing at a blank wall which Josh was not sure how many times he had passed by. ''So..?'' he said looking at Rose with questioning eyes and the same eyes widened rifgt after her next utterance ''What?! Walk back and forth three times..are you...nevermind'' he decided to do as she said. She could not be enjoying herself with him, could she? No. However he was not sure what to think so he just thought about being alone with her since it was currently their object. Was not it?.

Smiling as he sounded like he was about to object or something, she remained perfectly still on the ground, bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, listening for his footsteps. Was he thinking of anything? And if he was, what was he thinking? Well, she would find out anyways soon enough. "Did you do as I said?" she asked, still not opening her eyes. The cold wall she was leaning on actually felt really nice at the moment.
