You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement...

Wondering what caused her to blush he still finds it adorable either way. Standing up he walks over to the pillows, he had spotted earlier, and puts a few of them on the floor in front of the fire.

Kneeling down, he lays on his stomach perched with his elbows on the pillow, and sets up the game. "Would you like to join me?" he asks winking at her.

She laughed. Her heart leaping at the wink, she still couldn't get used to it, she hopped up and joined him on the pillows.

Feeling the warmth of the fire, she can't help but smile again. Its was just like the fairy tale books she read to her sister. Prince Charming and Cinderella. Forgetting all her worries, she smiled and felt truly happy for the first time in she didn't know how long.

Taking his wand, he taps the top of the deck of cards, so they start shuffling. "Ready?" he adds with a grin on his face.

Watching for a pair of cards, he keeps his wand at the ready to tap them as they show up.

"Let's see I know you have a sister, and a little about your family. What is your greatest wish? I mean, you don't have to answer really...I just thought we could learn more about each other." he adds quickly glancing at her.

"Ready!" she said, concentrating hard on the deck. Quickly lifting her eyes up to his as he asked her a question, she twisted her mouth. He had asked the one question she didn't know the answer to.

"Hmm.." she thought, pursing her lips. "I guess my ultimate wish would be to one day find someone who liked me for me. Cheesy, I know." she smiled, ducking her head.

"Cheesy? No I don't think so." he says with a smile. "I happen to know at least one person, who lo...likes you just the way you are. he says stammering when he accidentally slips with the word he meant to say. Not to mention his face turning pink.

Spotting a pair, he taps it quickly, before it explodes. A wisp of smoke appearing, telling him he got it just in time. "1 point for me" he comments with a grin.

Having been distracted by JD's stammering, she missed a pair of cards. Focusing her eyes on the game and tapping 2 pairs before looking back at JD, she said,"And who would that be?" she asked, smiling, a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Quickly tapping one more pair, she said,"Three points."

Tapping a pair of cards, before lifting his eyes to hers. Tipping her chin with his finger, he replies "I'd think that was obvious."

Wishing he had the nerve, to kiss her, he knew that would be the perfect moment. Instead, he looks into her eyes. As he does so, the pack of cards explode right in his face.

Anya felt JD's finger on her chin and she lifted her eyes up to his. She was surprised by the amount of emotion there, and immediately blinked. She opened her mouth to say something, but found herself speechless.

Her heart sped up as she thought he was about to kiss her, when the pack of cards exploded right in JD's face. Placing one hand firmly over her mouth to stop the giggles, she managed to choke out, "Are you alright?!"

His eyes, twinkling in laughter, he chuckles "I guess, I should have paid more attention to the pairs." Flicking his wand the game starts reshuffling.

The moment lost, he wipes his face to clear the light soot, but of course missing a spot on the tip of his nose. He grins at Anya, and flicks his wand to resume the game once again.

As JD wiped his face, he missed the tip of his nose. Smiling secretively, she resumed the game, tapping a pair before looking at him. "You have a little something," she giggled, gesturing to his nose.

Flicking her wand, she paused the game and leaned over to JD. Stifling her laughter, she wiped the soot off of her nose with the tip of her finger.

Turning crosseyed, as he tries to find what he missed, he laughs. About to use the hem of his robe again, to wipe it, when Anya does it with the tip of her finger.

But of course, as soon as she did so, it gave him a static shock. Laughing again, he grins "I guess we have electricity between us." Winking at her, he taps another pair.

"Ummm, Can I ask you something?" he asks with a seriousness in his voice.

Laughing along with JD, he suddenly gets serious. Following his example, her smile faded slightly. "Sure, go ahead." she said, ready for anything.

Tapping a pair, so as they don't blow up in their face again, he looks up at her, "I just wanted to ummmm, ask you if you..."

Turning a little pink, he ducks his head "If you'd like to go steady." he adds quietly.

Even though there was no one else in the room with them, he was still very self-conscious. At least there's no one here, to hear if she says no... he thinks, though he hopes that she won't, he is determined, to accept whatever her answer is.

Anya smiled. Forgetting about the game, she softly kissed him, turning as pink as he was. Breaking apart from JD, the forgotten game of cards exploded, sending soot and ash all over th both of them. AGAIN!! she thought in amusement.

Coughing through her laughter, she managed to get it all out of her hair.

Sitting there stunned, covered in soot, he realizes what just happened. Smiling at her, though they're both very pink, he doesn't mind the soot one bit.

He was glad she had taken that step, because he didn't think he'd ever would have been able to take that step. His eyes shining, he knows he's not letting nothin' happen to his girl now. Maze or no maze, he thinks with a grin.

Threading his fingers through hers again, the game gets left aside now.

Her laughter faded. "I-I'm sorry," she stuttered shaking her head slowly and ducking it down. "I don't know what I was thinking," she said, breathless.

Lucy walked back into the Room of Requirement, taking her coat off as she walked.

"Well, that was a short trip!" She exclaimed, catching her breath a bit. As soon as she entered the room, the pain in her legs returned. Feeling like she had to sit down, she walked towards a chintz armchiar that wasn't there before and fell into it.

"So, Rafe, how do we play?" She asked him.

Since Lucy had never been to a bowling alley, but had seen a picture of one in a muggle magazine, she thought she knew what it must look like. She concentrated hard on the wooden lane and flashy lights, with her eyes closed tightly. She was afraid to open them in case it hadn't worked.

"Did it work?" She whispered to Rafe, hoping that it did.

"Well, I'm hoping that won't be our last kiss..." his heart leaping, he feels like all the nervousness and worries about if she liked him or not, fading away like a distant memory.

"I certainly wouldn't say no, to doing that again." he says winking at her. Realizing it was getting late, he stands up, picking up the game, he reaches down to help her up.

"I don't think it will be," she said, smiling brightly at him. Anya took his hand and stood up, brushing soot off of her robes. Twining her fingers with his, she looked up at him. "Should we go back? Or wander some more?"

"Hmmmm, well how about we make it a date, since tomorrow's Saturday. We could have breakfast together, and spend the day exploring." he replies with a grin.

"Unless, of course, you have plans, then we could try either for Sunday or next weekend." As long, as they spent time together, he didn't care when it was. He was just happy to be with her.

Grabbing his bag from the table with his free hand, he heads toward the door.

"I don't have plans, trust me," she said, grabbing the rest of her things from the table. "So.." she sighed. "I guess we should be heading back, its sort of late," she said checking her watch and mumbling, "11:30" to nobody in particular.

Heading toward the door, JD reaches out to open it. Changing his mind just before, he turns toward Anya.

Taking her chin in his hand, he kisses her gently. "Thank you for the wonderful evening, my dear Anya."

Turning back to the door, he opens it and stands aside for her to walk through.
