After a brief word with Professor Vindictus and WEEKS in the library, Copernicus Kettleburn was ready for action... finally. He entered the common room and climbed on a table, pointing his wand to his mouth to amplify his voice.
"Attention, fellow Eagles! The term is almost over, and we're winding down to the feast. I've spoken with our Head of House with an idea I have... one that was inspired by Plymouth and that I'm doing in honor of his 18th birthday. Make sure you sing to him and give him hugs.
But ANYWAY. In honor of the term and Plymouth and... those of us who are graduating, we're going to turn the common room into a big pool and the staircases into waterslides. Consider it my senior gift to all of you!"
He flicked his wand in a series of complicated motions, pushing all the furniture back (with people still sitting on them no less) and dropping the floor in the middle of the room on an incline. The floor seemed to suddenly turn to water with a rippling splash.
"Have fun!"
ooc: YES... we do have permission from HoH Kay to do this . If you don't want to play, go bounce on the couches, but ALL CLAWS ARE WELCOME.

SPOILER!!: TOUZNESS
"WELCOME," Plymouth called over her shoulder when he finally came up for air. He was, hehe, right behind Livvy. Of course. He also had a mouth pretty full of water - which his promptly "IMMA FOUNTAIN"'d her. HEHEHEHE.
EEEE. How'd the boy get behind her so quickly? He was like as fast as lightning. And invisible. He was... SUPERMAN. Except Superman wasn't fast as lightning. And Plymouth was no Usain Bolt. Nor could he fly like Superman. And Superman and Plymouth wasn't invisible. Plymouth was the PLYMMIEMAN. Livvy grinned to herself but then it disappeared and she squealed when the boy squirted water at her.
"Plymmmoouuuth!" she yelled at him, and wiped at her face. AHH. Plymouth saliva mixed with chlorine water! She then stopped and looked at Plymouth with an evil smile on her face. Livvy jumped a bit and plunged back into the water, gathering a fairly large amount into her mouth. And when she resurfaced, she stood in a ninja-like position and splurted water right back at him. MUAHAHAHAHA. Oh how evil she was.
SPOILER!!: Dannymaann
Who was that? It could only be the one best freind he still had left. Well that was if you forgot about all his other freinds. But it was Livvy! His face finally lit up in a long time. He was just about to say hi when Rachel hugged Livvy. While he waited he looked around the room
Barry spotted Cela. Oh how he missed the good old days before Plymouth and cope (not that he blamed them) when they had been great freinds. Now he barely saw her anymore.
He waved goofily to Cela. But that was the effect Cela had on him. But he didn`t wave for long because just then...
Barry was supprised by the hug from Plymouth. But he was giving them to everyone. He halfed hugged him back and waited for him to stop. He couldn`t breath.
GASP. Finally air in his lungs. He turned back to Livvy "Hey! So hows it going?" he asked obviously full of excitment
Back to the Barry Barnacle Bear. Smirking once more at Plymmie, Livvy then turned her attention back to Barry. "BARRRYY. Heyyy... I've been good. You? Gimme a huuugg," and with that, she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him to squeeze him like she did with Plymouth. At least Barry wasn't shirtless. Oh wait. Was he?
SPOILER!!: Dandruffie *so sneakeh* tehehe
Rachel giggled. "Heya back!" she smiled and winked at the now calm looking Livvy. Hehe. "How have you been doing?" she asked as she twirled her hair from side to side on the surface of the water, savouring the coolness on her scalp - her hair was always so bloody thick the cold never actually got to it.
Now, please do not misinterpret this - this thing with the common room being a pool and the summer fast approaching and Plymouth's birthday was FUN, really - but Rachel began to feel a sense of sadness wash over her. So many people were leaving... people that she had shared six years of education with. Last year, having been too preoccupied with her overly dramatic life and exams, she hadn't really paid this much attention to how sad she felt whenever people she cared for left.
Like, for example, at the beginning of term the sixth year had had to get used to the fact that Head Girl Anna would no longer be around - and THAT had been strange. Next year... No Willow, no Copernicus nor Plymouth, no REID... ACK! Plunging her head swiftly under the water, she shook it fiercely to get rid of the small pricks of moisture that had formed at the corners of her eyes.
Hey - at least Livvy was staying.
It was nice to see Rachel again. It seemed... so... long ago. Before Christmas maybe? Oh Merlin. That was definitely a long time ago. How come they stopped talking? School. Classes. Exams. Livvy blamed it all on them. Maybe there would be some time on the train ride home or over the summer where she could tell Rachel all about the things that she had missed. The Love Potions lesson, for example. Oh lordy. Love potions. She'd slam her head against her desk, if there were a desk in front of her and she wasn't in a pool.
"Good good good," Livvy answered, nodding her head. "You? I feel like I haven't seen you in years! Almost didn't recognize you!" she said, grinning as she took Rachel by the head and examined her face.. her scalp.. her eyes. To make sure that it was indeed Rachel and not some creeper who wanted a hug from her. Livvy's hugs were popular, to say the least.
She studied Rachel's face and could detect sadness. If Livvy couldn't even tell that it was sadness on Rachel's face, then their six years of friendship would've gone down the drain. What was she thinking about? Livvy could only imagine that it was because the end of the year was coming nearer and nearer. She didn't want to think about it, but there it was. In black and white. Everyone was leaving. She absolutely HATED these moments when a sense of realization overcomes her. It was just like that last term... where Anna was leaving... and Elizabeth Andrews was leaving, though Livvy wasn't too close with the gal... she was one mighty awesome Chaser. And noooww... EVERYONE WAS LEAVING.
Copernicus. Who would be there to give her advice and listen to her jabber on and on about pointless things? That wise guy... he would go far... yes, indeed. Livvy would miss him. He was probably the only person that knew here deepest secrets. ... He WAS the only person. It made Livvy realize how much she didn't tell Rachel, which made her feel bad because Rachel was her bestest friend.
And then there was Plymouth. What a guy. Always so cheerful and being the cute guy he is. And Willow. ... Well... no comment there really. But she was one heck of a good Quidditch captain. Dominic Denton... He was.... he's... uhm. Reiiiddd Hemingway. Another person Livvy would miss. Even though they weren't the best of friends, she'd still miss him. He grew on her. Plus she knew he was always there if she wanted to argue.
Livvy glanced over at Rachel, just in time to see her dunk her face in the water. MHM? "What's the matter, Rach?"

Adrienne grinned back at Phoebus as he agreed with her argument about killing him. "Cela tried to kill you?," she asked teasingly as he mentioned their housemate. Even though she already knew he was referring to tackling. It was more fun to pretend otherwise, and besides, he had to know she knew what he had thought about. And then she laughed as he first tried to play dumb over her comment about the other guys, then confessed. "Well, it's not a competition," she pointed out logically, before trying to hide a grin as he pulled at his shirt. "Besides, wearing the shirt isn't doing a lot of good, is it? I can still see you, and I'm not running away screaming or anything. You're not Quasimodo or something." Which was kind of stupid anyway, since it wasn't like she hadn't seen him without a shirt on before, knowing him for as long as she had. Riley was good for something, after all.
"Awww, how chivalrous of you," she teased as he spoke about not being able , whento hit her because she was a girl. It hadn't stopped some people, but then that was all during Quidditch. The rules went out the window then, but as far as she was concerned, water fights were the same. And obviously he agreed, seeing as he then decided to retaliate against her tiny wave of water. "Who said anything about fighting fair?," she replied back to him, laughing as she brushed the water from her eyes, before ducking under the water and reaching out to grab his ankles and pulling him under. Letting go immediately after, she grinned at him underwater before swimming back to the surface.
Well Cela had certainly tried, if not intentionally, to kill him. At least Phoebus saw it that way. " She did. But lucky for me she's so sprightly. Easily taken down," He said, laughing a little. His laughing faded a bit as he heard her say that it wasn't a competition, and that he wasn't like, hideous or anything. " Really?" He said, looking at himself. Then he decided to heck with it and whipped off his shirt. He tossed it...somewhere and then shivered a bit. " it's kinda...colder without it." he said.
Chuckling at her chivalry comment, Phoebus gave a nod to Adrienne. " Yeah, I'm the last chivlarous guy on the planet. Or at least I think so." He told her. He watched her disappear beneath the water, and thinking about how she said no one was playing fair...well he thought too much. He made a yelping sort of noise as he felt his feet slide out from underneath him and then he was under again. He opened his eyes just to see Adrienne grin at him and then he popped back up, taking a breath. " You...are a cheater." He said, grinning at her nonetheless. He splashed her a few more times and then jumped at her, grabbing her up in his arms and throwing himself and her back into the water before he let her go again.

Adrienne laughed as Phoebus responded to her teasing as if he actually had meant that Cela had tried to kill him. She hadn't expected that, and she grinned at him. "So if she's so easily taken down, what's that say about me?," she asked, still teasing him. But then his reaction to her trying to make him feel better about himself surprised her, and she tried to hide it with a shrug. "Sure," she said vaguely in response to his question, before his following comment made her giggle again. Surprise forgotten. "It's not that cold." That was what staying in the water was for.
Still giggling, she looked over at him as he spoke about her chivalry comment, and it only made her laugh more. "Never thought of you as having an ego issue," she commented in response, before having her fun surprising him. As the yelp testified. Staying where she was after breaking the surface of the water again, she waited for him to come up again, her grin still on her face. "Are you just finding that out?," she asked, feigned shock in her voice. "Slytherin for a brother, remember. How could I not be?" There was no way he was actually shocked at her actions, or at least no way she could think of. Returning his splashing, a squeal of surprise came out of her when he suddenly tackled her, sending her backward into the water again before releasing her. Swimming back to the surface with eyes slightly wider than usual, she waited again for him to join her. "Now who's the one cheating?," she asked, the teasing quality slowly coming back into her voice.

This was definitely an affair of sorts. Issy remained at the edge of the pool, watching everyone. Some had changed into swiming suits and some swam in their Hogwarts uniforms. She merely watched. How Copernicus had made a pool of the Common Room was beyond her, but either way, it kind of cool. Peering around, she looked for Samson but didn't see him, and she knew better than to find Willow around here. Becca was nearby, but she was on the couch, playing music with her Saxophone, so she figured it best to let her be.
So she continued to watch, careful to avoid the splashing.

Phoebus laughed quite heartily as Adrienne let out a very girl noise of surprise. It made him...weirdly happy to know he'd gotten her. He swam back up after letting her go and when she spoke upon breaking the surface again, he chuckled at her. " I'm not cheating." He said, paddling a bit in the water. " I'm just...improvising." He told her." Best friend in Slytherin, or did you forget?" He teased her a bit as he swam around her and splashed her a few times. He kept thinking about how sometimes it was pretty cool just hanging out with Adrienne, no Chloe or Riley around. It was sort of...easier. Less complicated.

Phoebus spotted Issy sitting alone by the side of the pool and usually, he would've let her do her own thing. Usually. But the spirit of the pool in the common room situation had gotten to him. He was reasonably close to her and he sent some water her way, laughing a little as hedid. Then he promptly swam back away, not too keen on receiving any retaliation. But he'd be back to splash more...oh yes.
An indignant squeak was Issy's response to Phoebus and his splash. She jumped in vain attempt to evade the water, but even still, her front was splashed with water and darker spots colored her skirt and shirt where the drops touched her. Nose wrinkled, she stomped a foot.
"Phooooooebus," she whined, shaking her head. "Clearly, I intend to stay dry, as, unlike you, I am not in the pool."
And she ought to stay that way, too. Eeep. She didn't even have a bathing suit to wear!

As her expression went back to normal, Adrienne faked a look of indignation as she knew Phoebus was laughing at her reaction to his tackling her. "Well, your improvising doesn't seem that much different than what I did when you said I was cheating," she said in a feigned voice of entitlement, before dissolving into laughter again as he echoed her earlier comment about Riley. "How could I forget, considering I live with him?," she managed to get out between giggles, as he started circling her. Splashing him back, she grinned. "Since when have you become part shark?," she teased him. It was a lot more fun hanging around him when Riley wasn't around, and considering her previous disappointment that she hadn't found Chloe around, he was doing a lot right now to make her forget it. It was kind of odd, really, even though she always liked talking to him.
Then he seemed to get distracted by something, and her blue eyes went over to see him splash Issy. Who didn't seem to want to really join in the pool party fun. An eyebrow raising delicately, she watched as he swam away from the edge again, toward her, then she spoke. "What's gotten into you?," she asked, a bit mystified by how he was acting now. And half expecting him to tackle her again or something.

Phoebus grinned at Issy and her complaining. " Come on Issy, it's the end of the year. Kinda. Let loose. Or something," He said, shrugging a bit. He wasn't really up on popular vernacular. He splashed at her again, sort of wanting to get that cute foot-stamping and nose-wrinkling reaction from her.

So you're inherently more evil then, living with a Slytherin." he said, flicking a bit of water at her. " Therefore...my cheating? Not as bad." He said.
After he'd terrorized Issy some more, he shrugged at her questioning. " I'm not sure. End of term madness?" he said and then he eyed her." I think you look too...dry." Thenhe pounced, grabbing her up in his arms again and dunking them both in the water, conveniently close to Issy so maximum splashing might occur.

Then he was responding to her query about his splashing Issy, and she raised an eyebrow again. "Not anymore," she said in response to his last comment, coming back to the surface with a laugh as she combed a wet hand through her wet hair, not even noticing how he'd placed them so his attack on her also had splashed Issy again. At this rate she had no idea how messy it was going to be once it dried.

It was good feeling seeing Livvy again as if things were begining to get back how they used to be. Even Plymouth and Cope were leaving. Sure hogwarts was soon going to be over for Barry but maybe he could have the perfect last term

Phoebus gave a shrug and wiped water off his face as Adrienne spoke about his dog and shark like tendencies. " Well...you're already pretty short. So you're sort of pygmy anyway." He said, chuckling a bit. " It's only logic," He told her as he swam on his back for a moment. " But then by that logic I'd have to have a pet shark. So maybe my theory is out anyway," He said, thinking about it a bit more.
After floating a bit more he spoke to her. " And I'm thinking you don't havethe same affliction because...well I don't know.Maybe you're immune or something." He said with a smile directed at her. " So is it just me or does it feel like it's been a lot of just you and me this term?" He said, finally righting himself again. " I dunno, I'm just saying." He said, moving a hand to his wet hair in the usual self conscious habit.

An insulted and defensive look broke through Adrienne's amusement as Phoebus spoke about her teasing theory about him acting like a shark and a dog. "I am not short! Just cause you have like four inches on me in height does not make me short," she said, crossing her arms as she watched him nonchalantly swimming around. He was possessed, that was it. No other explanation, other than the possibility he actually believed Riley's idiotic ideas about her. Which she refused to believe, since he was still talking to her. Splashing him again, she let herself calm down. We're supposed to be having fun, so don't let it get to you, she thought to herself.
And then he stopped in his floating and spoke again, and her blue eyes went to him again. "Maybe. I still don't know why I'd be immune, though," she mused, before deciding to return his smile. Especially since it seemed like he was havign some of the same thoughts as her about this term, when it came to certain people at least. "It's not just you. I mean, I even had Torin and Tammy on the lookout for Chloe practically all term, since they're in the same house as her, and no such luck. Except for that one time at the lake, it's like both her and Riley vanished into thin air," she commented with a shrug. At least if he'd noticed it, she wasn't alone. Even though it was kinda fun practically having Phoebus to herself, the few times she'd seen him.

Falling back into the water with laugh, Phoebus grinned at Adrienne's indignation. " Well, four inches taller...is four inches taller." He said, laughing at her some more. She was kinda...cute when she got all insulted. Slightly cute, but slightly terrifying too. Odd combination, really.
" You'd be immune because...well I don't know. An anomaly of nature? " He offered, shrugging when he stood up again. He splashed some water around as she spoke and he nodded. " It really is. I think they were both just really busy." He said, shrugging again. " So tell me what you're doing for the summer. Avoiding Riley at all costs is a given, so you can't say that." he said, chuckling lightly at her.

Adrienne huffed as it didn't seem Phoebus was sorry for insulting her in the slightest, but also struggled not to laugh at how matter-of-fact he was being. When it was all just kind of a normal stupid thing with them. "Four inches is tiny. I mean, it's not like you're a foot taller than me or anything. Or even more." Like Torin was, and yet her Huffie friend never had called her short. But then she had to admit he probably had only ever seen her in her heels, and in some cases her higher heels. Like that time in Hogsmeade, when he'd found out she could read his mind. Smiling at her thoughts, it took her a second to get back to the matter at hand, but as she heard Phoebus laughing, she did. Narrowing her eyes playfully, she threw herself at him in a tackle, knocking him back into the water. Nobody laughed at her.
Back to laughing as she stood back up, she looked at him as he tried to come up with a reason why she wasn't crazy. "You do know that kind of would mean you're calling me a freak," she pointed out calmly, figuring he wasn't likely to want to get attacked again. Even if it was sort of playful. And then he talked about Riley and Chloe again and she laughed at his shrug. "So busy they didn't even make time for classes? Or are you saying they were there and we just didn't see them?," she asked, before he changed the subject again. Breaking into giggles, she gave him an incredulous look. "You're really asking me that? I mean, I'm not really doing anything different this summer than every other summer. Hanging around the house, then going to Grandmother's in France in like July." And that brief trip to Australia to see Raven. "And of course I'd avoid my brother at all costs. I mean, that just guarantees me keeping my sanity," she replied, before giggling again. It really had been a stupid question, coming from someone who'd known her and Riley for ages.
