And once again, you enter the dank, dark cave that is the Hogwarts potions classroom... but something has changed. Unlike the environment of the previous class, which was characterized by a clash of noxious odors, this time the classroom is filled with...
THE BEST. SMELLS. EVER.
Though the room is still cast in the typical gloom from the flickering candle wall sconces, unlike during the last class this time the air smells sweet, with notes of chocolate, vanilla, fresh coffee, light florals and fresh breezes, newly cut grass... A thousand lovely scents all harmoniously combining to create a symphony of sweet smells. Small flames are burning under a series of cauldrons simmering at the back of the room, and there are the typical rows of workstations with two stools at each station.
A thousand and three jars, canisters, and containers of potions ingredients line the shelves along the walls, gleaming dully in the low light. Each is labelled in the Professor's shaky old man's script, and at the back of the room are shelves groaning under the weight of huge potions encyclopedias and texts.
At the front of the classroom, a large charmed chalkboard stands. On it are written these simple instructions:

POTIONS CLASS: LOVE POTIONS
Please be seated. The professor will be here momentarily. Be certain that you have all your potions equipment with you; failure to do so may cost your House points. If you are an older student who is familiar with Potions you may set up your workstation. I expect my younger students are now able to set up their workstations as well; if you need help, please ask an older student.
You may talk quietly amongst yourselves, but please keep the conversation to a reasonable level out of respect for your classmates. Thank you.

Class Synopsis:
The class began with a discussion on Love Potions- the theory behind them and their classification.
Then, the students discussed probable ingredients in love potions based on their knowledge of potion ingredients; this lead to the lab assignment, in which the students were to partner with a person of the opposite gender and brew a basic Class XX love potion.
The students received instruction on how to remove infused oils from their pre-treated lovage seeds, and were instructed to work in pairs to complete this task.
Next, the students were instructed to add a single drop of swan blood to the potion, bottled a draught, and sample each other's work. Ah... Love!
If Livvy's sensed had returned, she would be horrified at what was being exchanged between her and some... boy... that she had just met today! And to think that she had KISSED him. She had been saving up all her affection to give to Garret. Oh poo. But see... Livvy's senses HADN'T returned and there was no Garret to fight for her.. or... try to knock some sense into her, though on a side note... she wouldn't have minded being Garret's partner if he had been attending this lesson.
EEEEPPP. Samson... aww... so adorable. He was so beautiful. What a gorgeous guy. Why hadn't she noticed him sooner? So many wasted years. But it didn't matter anymore. For now they knew each other and now they were in LOVE. Ahhhh....
He would die? Livvy knew it. The words made her heart race and she smiled and looked up into his eyes with a dazed stare. She could just look at him all day. "Oh Samson... you're so sweet. I know I couldn't live without you either!" she said, sniffing at the mere thought of it. No. That would never happen to them. Livvy wouldn't allow any sort of separation.
She smiled to herself, feeling so comfortable, when Samson placed his head against hers. It felt like paradise. They were meant to be. Their fingers lined up perfectly alongside each other and their heads fitted against each other so snugly.
Giggle. "Thank you Samson, honey."
Doomed. Samson was inevitably doomed. But there was no sense of that dread right now. He was just not himself. Love potions were a powerful thing. As soon as he got his senses back, he would make a very careful note of that.
Livvy was being adorable. She really was. And knowing now that she couldn't live without him either made his heart swell. Aww! "I won't leave you Livvy," he said seriously, nuzzling her. Were they going to get detention for PDA? Well, Samson wouldn't allow it. Or maybe he would. As long as they had detention together and didn't get separated.

She sighed in satisfaction as she dropped her hand and wrapped her arms around Samson once more, burying her face into his shoulder. Her heart began racing once more when he lifted her head up so they were face to face once more. Beautiful? HER? Ohh... was she dreaming? How could such a perfect boy, EXIST? "B-beautiful?" Livvy repeated, breathlessly. Ohhhh... she could die and she'd be happy.

Carter took a sip of the antidote. The professor wasn't kidding. It was amazingly bitter. He downed the rest of it before sporting a disgusted look. It took him a few seconds to recover. He didn't feel much different. The potion must have worn out on its own.

OH! Livvy felt like the luckiest girl on the planet. But she wasn't because if it weren't for the love potion and she wasn't out of HER MIND, she would know that Samson's ACTUAL girlfriend would come down after her and kick her butt! Though most females of the human species preferred to throw objects.... So maybe Livvy would just have to get out her beater's bat.
ANYHOW... Samson... that... AMAZING... GORGEOUS.... SWEET... boy. He was her boyfriend. She sighed deeply and smiled up at him, her eyes sparkling as she watched him. Aww shuuucks. He was just saying that. But Livvy's heart swelled with joy at his words. Though if she had been sane, she probably would've slapped him. Well... maybe not SLAPPED him... maybe just... well... scooted away. But that was not the case. In fact, the words had an opposite effect and only made Lovepotioned!Livvy scoot even closer. If... that was even possible.
"Oh Samson... I think you're the perfect one here..." she said, smiling with much satisfaction. She could just sit next to him and watch him all day... heck.... for all of her life. She didn't care. Sane!Livvy would care. But this was Lovepotioned!Livvy... and she didn't care about her future. All she cared about was her future with Sammmsooon. Oh darling Samson.
Meh. Livvy was shocked that Samson had let go of her hand. For a moment, she was afraid that Samson didn't love her anymore. She'd have to give him a love potion to keep him with her! (Double love potion?) But then... Livvy's heart stopped. Oh... oh... oh my.
He... he... HE WAS PROPOSING TO HER! WHEEEEE!!! Livvy could just jump with joy. She smiled and tried her best to hold back fakelovepotioned tears. "Yes Samson Carswell. I'll marry you alright! I love you too!" she exclaimed and fell to the ground as she wrapped her arms around her fiancé's neck.

Keeley was getting really annoyed. I mean, class was almost over and nobody had un-petrified her yet! What if everyone left, and she was stuck lying here?! At least Josh's potion was seeming to wear off, although he was falling asleep, which was really weird. If only she could talk, she could ask for help. But, mumbling dosen't really help with that. Attempting and failing to groan, she just lay there, praying that some delovepotioned student would notice a paralized firstie on the ground...

As Destiny was under the table hiding from Josh, she saw Keeley on the floor, still in the body-bind. 'Oopsies.' Yeah. Well as long as un-freezing her doesn't cause more trouble and as long as she drinks that potion the professor was handing out. She pointed her wand at Keeley, and whispered 'Finite.' so Josh wouldn't be able to hear her. And if Keeley tries to hex her again, Destiny will be ready..

Destiny put a finger to her mouth to hush Keeley. She didn't want Josh to find her, but Josh didn't seem to be around. Peeking out from under the table, Destiny looked at Keeley. 'Why does she need her wand? Probably to hex me again.' She was pretty sure Evelyn still had Keeley's wand, and Evelyn better not give it back to her, until she drinks the antidote anyway. 'Umm, I dunno where your wand it, but I'll help you find it, as soon as you drink that.' She eyed the vile of antidote that the professor was handing out.

"Woah, don't move so fast." she said, holding onto Josh's arm to try and steady him. After he was balanaced, he seemed to be searching for someone...or something? Or... 'Jeez, again, why did he have to pick Destiny huh?' Where was Destiny anyway? Remembering the little phial of antidote in her hand, she quickly turned Josh to face her. "Here, Josh. Drink this. It will make you not so sleepy." she held out the liquid to him, hoping that he would take it.

Bending down, she spotted her Slytherin friend underneath the desk, pointing her wand towards...Keeley! No! And she didn't look so crazy anymore. Of course, Evelyn knew where the girl's wand was. *teehee* It was in her pocket, and she wasn't giving it back until the end of class. Hmm, Destiny was acting a little weird. Had Keeley done something to her?! That would suck. Bad. Oh well, she knew that the phial had to be the antidote, and even though she had no more feelings for Josh, she drank it anyway. It was BITTER!! "Ugh, that stuff is nasty." she whispered, forgetting to ask why they were hiding. Wait- did Destiny ask why she had been unparalised? She had to have done something wrong. "What did I do?" she repeated, because this would kill her if she didn't know.

Then he had to catch her before she could go too far then... but he was unable to run as Evelyn blocked him or caught him like eagles clawed their preys ''Woo! You really have a firm grip for a girl'' or he was just feeling so tired, he did not know. ''I gotta be fast or she'll run away and i'll never be able to find her.'' he explained and tired get free of her grip but gave it up when she showed him the phial which he examined curiously with narrowed eyes. ''Will make me not so sleepy? Where did you find this?'' one glance at the Slytherin's face he handled the antidote ''Nevermind something inside my mind says that you'd never try to hurt me. I don't know why, i don't know you so much but it says so i'm on it'' he gulped down the liquid which was followed by a grimace and ''Baaaah!'' he threw the phial and it hit the floor breaking into pieces and scattered around. ''This was awful! Horrible! Terrible! Like scum!'' and with the bad taste he felt a blankness in his chest then a deep sadness invaded his mood and he sat down on a nearby chair nearly collapsing on it sighing deeply and sadly like he had just lost someone he loved.

Evelyn had found her! 'She doesn't have her wand, I thought it would be safe.' Unless Keeley just attacks her the muggle way. That would be bad. But knowing that Evelyn still had her wand, and Destiny knowing the protege spell, everything should be fine, right?
Destiny watched, from under the table, as Keeley drank the antidote. She sighed in relief when Keeley's hair changed to a normal, non-scary color. 'What did Keeley do?''You don't remember?' She asked as she came out of hiding. 'You tried to hex me! With a spell I never even heard of!' Oh, Destiny was being loud. Josh will see her.
Didn't matter anyway. Destiny turned just in time to see Josh take the antidote and sit down. She couldn't help but smile knowing that she was now Josh-free. 'Josh, are you okay?' As in are you still in love with me?

Where did she find it? "Family recipe." she said, smiling sweetly. 'Just drink it!' she yelled in her mind, watching him look as if he was hesitating. 'I'd never hurt you? Of course I wouldn't! Well, unless you deserve it or something...like that will ever happen.' And then he did. Hurray! She jumped like a mile when he threw the phial down on the ground, making it shatter all around. Remembering that Destiny was on the gound though, she quickly bent down again and looked at her friend. "Are you okay? Did any of the glass hit you?"
Buuut, she was suddenly distracted though when Josh sat down in a chair next to her, not looking so well. "Josh?" Standing up, she moved in front of him, lifting his head up so she could see his face. "How are you feeling?" she asked, concerned and worried. Wow, today she was just full of questions!

Eveybody was asking if he was okay. Of course he was not! He was really sad, so sad for something he did not know which meant he could not help himself with feeling better. This was impossible when he did not have any clue about what he was grieving over. He avoided replying the question about how he felt for he was unable find the suitable words to explain. When he spotted Destiny from the corner of his eyes he felt shocked and extremely embarrassed at the same time as her face reminded him few of the previous scenes. 'Nooooooo!' He had made a complete fool of himself! 'How could not i resist drinking it? I have no right to talk about strong willpower anymore' Pass this, how could he look at Destiny's face again? Turning back to Josh, who looked really sick, Destiny wondered if the professor had poisoned them again. Well at least Destiny didn't drink the antidote! But then it seemed Josh was fine when he suddenly jumped up and hugged Evelyn. Not really wanting it to be awkward between herself and Josh, Destiny laughed 'If you ever fall in love with me again, I will hex you into next week!' She might need to learn that spell Keeley tried to use on her..

"Alas, the class period is at an end. I do hope you have learned, if nothing else, that love potions are nothing to play idly with. Please finish cleaning up your workstations, and turn in a phial of your complete potion -- do not forget to label it for credit. Additionally, each student is to turn in 4 inches of parchment discussing the mechanics of brewing love potion and a summary of your experience -- both as the administrator and the consumer -- with it. Finally, you will write an additional 4 inch essay on the ethics of love potion, particularly giving examples of situations in which you would use it-- and situations where you would not. If you have any questions, I will be available in the potions lab as well as here for a few moments after class."
"Those of you who did not finish your class assignment today may complete your work in the potions lab after you go to your next period class. Thank you all-- and I hope you have learned something of worth today. Good day." With that, Kazimeriz waved a hand, opening the classroom door to dismiss them.

The Gryffindor boy tried to laugh at Destiny's words but there was still the scenes... hopefully she had not turned out to be the kind to make fun of people's embarrassing times so he laughed ''And please be accurate about it and make sure your hex gets its target'' he replied still hugging Rose. He did not want to let her go maybe he might be attacked with some other potion, who knew? But it was bound to and as Josh realised when the Professor spoke. He was at the middle of a class hugging her and probably everybody was watching so he backed away from her ''Let's just vanish this evil potion and get outta here'' he said turning back to their work station with an extremely bitter and unwilling expression and he saw Keeley standing there ''It was nice working with you. Thanks'' he told her as he he took his hazel wand out to clean up the cauldron.

Celandine, relieved that the lovey dovey stuff was over, even though she liked Jake well enough, turned her attention to Professor Kazimeriz and wrote down the homework assignment. Once that was done she put away her books and bottled up two phials, one for herself to hand in and one for Jake. She offered him his one and labeled her own.

She silently handed it in to Professor Kazimeriz, a thoughtful expression on her face as she was already starting to plan out her essay.
She returned to her workstation and gathered up what she needed to clean the cauldron. Celandine put her gloves back on and filled it with water and sloshed it around a bit, then vanished the water and the majority of the left over scrapings of potion. She used a few rags and some Mrs. Scowers and gave it a good scrubbing. She vanished the remaining gunk again and then used her wand to scourgify it. After a quick wipe of the desk area, Cela was done and she looked around to see if anyone needed a hand.
She really wanted to go get on with her essay though!

'I'll be sure to do that!' Now if only she knew an actual hex that would blast Josh into next week. 'Oh, and lets pretend this never happened.' Destiny figured it would be better that way.

Destiny took a phial and filled it with her potion, even though she didn't drink any. She held her nose when she got near it, so she wouldn't be tempted to drink it. She filled the phial up and used 'Evanesco' to get rid of the rest of the potion. She labeled the potion

Blushing, Keeley tried to picture herself hexing an innocent Destiny while Josh was probably freaking out. Weird. She wondered who had body-binded her, most likely Josh because she was attacking his 'love'. Again, weird. Oh well, class was over. Thank God! She probably wouldn't be able to talk to Josh again, or Evelyn (awkward!). But Destiny didn't seem all that mad. But now class was over! Thank God! She didn't know anyone else's last name, so she prepared a phial and labeled it with her name, leaving it for the others. When she was done, she heard Josh tell her 'nice working with you.' Okay...awkard. Did he remember what she had done? Ugh, she didn't want to think about it. Answering "Erm, you too." she packed up her things and left as quickly as possible.

Sad that he had pulled away from the hug, she looked around and actually realized how many people were in the class. Smiling nervously, she looked up at Josh for a moment, wanting to say something, but kept her mouth shut and moved to the cauldron before her could get to it. He was distracted with talking to Destiny and Keeley anyway. Quickly, she took out an extra phial from her bag. Holding two phials in her hand, she took a big spoonful of the potion and put half of it in one, and the other half in the other. Quickly topping both of them, she stuffed one of the potions in her pocket and held out the other so Josh could see it. "I'm going to write both our names on it. So we don't have to waste another little container."
As Josh began to clean the cauldron, she started to label the potion.
