And once again, you enter the dank, dark cave that is the Hogwarts potions classroom... but something has changed. Unlike the environment of the previous class, which was characterized by a clash of noxious odors, this time the classroom is filled with...
THE BEST. SMELLS. EVER.
Though the room is still cast in the typical gloom from the flickering candle wall sconces, unlike during the last class this time the air smells sweet, with notes of chocolate, vanilla, fresh coffee, light florals and fresh breezes, newly cut grass... A thousand lovely scents all harmoniously combining to create a symphony of sweet smells. Small flames are burning under a series of cauldrons simmering at the back of the room, and there are the typical rows of workstations with two stools at each station.
A thousand and three jars, canisters, and containers of potions ingredients line the shelves along the walls, gleaming dully in the low light. Each is labelled in the Professor's shaky old man's script, and at the back of the room are shelves groaning under the weight of huge potions encyclopedias and texts.
At the front of the classroom, a large charmed chalkboard stands. On it are written these simple instructions: Quote: POTIONS CLASS: LOVE POTIONS
Please be seated. The professor will be here momentarily. Be certain that you have all your potions equipment with you; failure to do so may cost your House points. If you are an older student who is familiar with Potions you may set up your workstation. I expect my younger students are now able to set up their workstations as well; if you need help, please ask an older student.
You may talk quietly amongst yourselves, but please keep the conversation to a reasonable level out of respect for your classmates. Thank you. --Professor Kazimeriz Class Synopsis:
The class began with a discussion on Love Potions- the theory behind them and their classification.
Then, the students discussed probable ingredients in love potions based on their knowledge of potion ingredients; this lead to the lab assignment, in which the students were to partner with a person of the opposite gender and brew a basic Class XX love potion.
The students received instruction on how to remove infused oils from their pre-treated lovage seeds, and were instructed to work in pairs to complete this task.
Next, the students were instructed to add a single drop of swan blood to the potion, bottled a draught, and sample each other's work. Ah... Love!

A single bead of sweat gathered on the corner of his brow as he sighed. "Ok. one."

For a brief moment, Wesley felt awful for choosing the easier pick of the two, but those feelings vanished as she reasoned that this way was surely better than her accidentally poking Tibi with the needle instead of the seed.
Arms outstretched, she readied herself to peel, both eyes shut once more, "One. Two. THREE."

Again, needle stick, drop.. catch! Tibi watched as the drop landed more easily in the spoon this time. Smiling, he dipped it back into the cauldron with another three stirs. This wasn't so hard.
He looked at Wesley curiously. She seemed... rather skittish about this process. Tibi was torn. If they made this well, they'd be in love with each other... if they didn't, well, then he would have done poorly in class.
He didn't know which was worse.

Maybe it was the atmosphere in the room that changed her mind, or maybe it was something else, but Keeley was now in Evelyn's line of vision, and she was going to keep the Ravenclaw there until she knew more about her.
"Well, Josh, that's just the problem. Before, you would say you are the master at everything. How do I know that you aren't the master at breaking things?" Smirking, she picked up one of the lovage seeds that Keeley handed over. "Okay, I'll peel back the outer shell, and you poke the top part thingy and catch the oil with the stirring spoon. So, she just sat back quietly and watched as Rose directed and pulled on her gloves too, even though they were dragon hide, and she always avoided wearing them.

Reese took the last pen they had laying on the table and, just like the last two seeds, she leaned in closer to the little seed Torin had holding out, so she was able to tell where the hilum was. She pierced the hilum once she found it, and then she quickly placed the pen back on the table and picked up the stirring spoon. After collecting the little drop of oil (which smelled!), she put the single drop of oil in the potion and then stirred the potion three times clockwise.
"Done," she announced with a smile. "Now, er, we have to stir it until the potion begins to thicken and boil. It will shift colors until it looks like maple syrup or something...yeah, if it shifts colors, we're on the right track." She gripped the stirring spoon, not too sure if she was ready to stir this potion until her arms hurt, but she was going to have to stir it. So, with that, she began to stir the potion.

Isabella stuggled to get the seed coat of the seed.as she managed she asked jack to peirce the pin through the hilum to extract the oil.
Jack i guess you can peirce the hilum now she said but by the time Jack went to peirce it Bella couldnt hold the small seed's coat in her hands for long.
sorry she apologized as the seed popped out of her hand.she took another seed and struggled to open it and then Jack peirced the pin through the hilum and Bella immediately poured the small drops of oil coming from the hilum into the potion containing cauldron with the help of stirring spoon.she stirred the cauldron thrice in clockwise direction as instructed
phew she exhaled.
they were still only done with first seed.they had to work on two more seeds

No sooner had Cela answered his question she just went ahead and pelled the thinger on the seed, and Jake stared stupidly for a second before copying what Cela had done when she weilded the pin and spoon. He knew it was essential to go quick, so he did it.
Time seemed to go a little slower as Jake moved the liquid into the potion, but it was in, and the boy stirred three times clockwise, before beginning to frantically stir like a madman, making sure he didn't knock Cela with his elbow or something.

Isabella took another of the small love seed and pried open the seed coat with a bit of difficulty.
Jack,have your go.pin it away she said her brow furrowed in concentration to keep the seed in her hand till the oil was oozing out.
