Destiny watched as Evelyn rubbed the cream stuff on her hand. She brushed the broken pieces of glass away from Evelyn before she would need another jar of something to deal with cuts. 'Does it feel better now?'

'No I don't have moonstone,' tell her that before she emptied Destiny's bag 'but I can get it for you, you know, since you can't let go of the table.' Destiny walked over to the shelves and picked out a moonstone, leaving a trail of feathers wherever she went. She placed it in Evelyn's hand that wasn't covered in the cream stuff. 'There you go. Now I guess you put it in?' Just a couple more minutes until normal Evelyn is back, hopefully.

Emotional issues, huh? This would be interesting. Matheu was good at figuring out puzzles, so he wasn't too worried.
He analyzed the basic ingredients and his ingredients on his worksheet:

Purified water - cleansing and boiling
doxy eggs - used in a gag to make one ill
horned toad innards - unclear, but has a camoflauge feature
fluxweed - type of mint, helps through change; being a type of mint it helps with nausea
Jalepeno, holds heat and produces heat. Counter ingredient: Milk (cow), reduces heat and/or extinguishes it.
Runespoor, enhances mental ability. Counter: Scurvey-grass, since it is used in Confusing Draught, it reduces menal ability.
Lemon juice, makes things tart. Counter: Sugar, takes away the tartness.
Molasses, has an aciditic result in baking. Counter: Baking soda, takes away the acidity.
Powdered hellebore, produces invisibilty with certain ingredients. Counter: possible Nightshade berries, which hightens eye sight.

Matheu was thinking of using the baking soda, but that would have to be added in later. There had to be an emotional aid, something like a depresent, would help. Tobacco? That would be very risky, seeing as how Muggles get cancer from that. He noticed glumbumble in his unabridged, but that causes melancholy; he figured that would only increase the "poison," so he ditched that idea. he read further in his text until he found something that would work greatly: MOONSTONE! "Got it!" Matheu said to himself.

He went to the cabinet with his list of ingredients and took what he needed. He also thought of peppermint, and grabbed a handful. He went back to his station and begin doing the first instruction: Bring all ingredients to a brisk boil; lower to a simmer. Didn't take much time, but he was beginning to feel the effects of short temperness with a mix of melancholy. Good thing he didn't use glumbumble!
While the water was boiling, he prepared moonstone by crushing it. He read that crushed stones have a better effect than those not because they spread throughout the mixture and the effects take quicker time to play its role. It was difficult crushing it up, but he managed to do it. He scooped it up in a total of 4 tablespoons. He added only 2 peppermints so that their odor and power isn't too overwhelming. He had to decrease the acidity of the poison so he added only 2 1/2 tablespoons.
Everything was doing good. He read the third instruction: Return to a boil until mixture becomes thick and syrupy. But the ingredients he added, minus the eggs, did not provide a thick substance. The eggs only made it oil like. He read that flobberworms thicken the potion, so he went to the cabinet and grabbed about three large flobberworms, each about 3 inches. He went to his station and started to quickly cutting the worms. He was getting very impatient now thanks to the poison. Once they were properly prepared, he tossed them in. The potion quickly thickened and had a syrup like texture.
YES! He almost had it! He read the final instruction: Lower temperature and allow to simmer. He did just that. He completed his first potion! It took him reletively 40-45 minutes to do so. Matheu was proud of himself. Let's just hope it works!

"Yes, it feels better." Evelyn said, slightly distracted since she was staring at the clear-ish, silvery-ish, blue-ish...ish...stone that was placed in her hand by Destiny. 'Wow, it's really pretty.' she thought, giggling and holding onto the table while turning the stone in different angle up into the what little light there was in the room. Tossing the stone into the potion, which made a slight splash, she watched as it seemed to glow for a split moment before going back the normal-ish color that it was.

Smiling at her work, she noticed Destiny move all the broken glass pieces, though she wasn't quite certain why. 'Maybe she's just being careful. Aw, i have the best friend ever!' Out of no where, Evelyn hugged Destiny, not minding the feathers or wings at all and then suddenly went back to being distracted by flicking stuff off the table, laughing every now and then. MAYBE flicking stuff towards Josh as well...

Reading on the board that she was supposed to bring the potion back up to a boil once she had all the ingredients in it, she turned back to Destiny, laughing and giggling again. "Is that all I need?" she asked, slightly uncertain, but smiling widely nonetheless.

"MOONSTONE,YOU IDIOT! Don't you know that glumbumble, put you in a melancholy mood. Moonstone makes you calm!"Tori screamed at him in reply.She was shaking from head to toe with fury. She turned away from him to watch her cauldron simmer for a few more minutes.

Amidst the pain, Marilyn couldn't help but smirk at Evelyn Flores, another Slytherin housemate. That girl was going to burn this place to ashes. The blonde's smirk quickly turned into a smile. That actually wasn't such a bad idea...

What was I doing again...? Oh!

She looked at Destiny and sighed. I think that rat spleen would be a better choice. Leeches are tricky little buggers and Im already irritated. She busied herself with crushing the fangs and grinding the moonstone into a fine powder...Okay...as far as the poison goes, im thinking maybe essence of murtlap mixed with snake venom...Snake venom should be a good substance to eat away the poison with the murtlap essence to balance out any harmful effects the venom might have on the body. Also, maybe the murtlap could soothe the itching...

She turned to the cauldron and checked to make sure everything was as the directions indicated. So ar, so good.

After Destiny had moved the broken pieces of glass, she was about to lean over her cauldron to see if it was boiled yet, when she got pulled back onto her stool when Evelyn started to hug her. She couldn't even hug her back because Evelyn was squeezing her arms to her body. When she finally let go, Destiny was even more itchy! She stood up and started scratching everywhere when she noticed her cauldron was boiling over. 'Crud! My potion!' she forgot to make it simmer. She lowered the flame and the potion stopped boiling, thank Merlin.

Sitting back down she opened the text again and started to read. 'This is the last time I'm reading this.' Yep, yep. 'Yeah I think that's all. You have the runespoor for confusion and moonstone for that other thing. Emotions. Now just wait until it boils,' Destiny turned Evelyn's flame up for her, because you know, the fire thing, 'and then we will simmer it.'

There was a pestle in his hand, and Copernicus at least at the presence of mind to grind whatever was in his mortal into a very fine powder. He checked at one point and decided it was fluxweed, although he had no real reasoning for that decision. He just knew it was.

He dumped the contents into the cauldron and then found the instructions on a piece of parchment on the table. He was boiling now, and a small change to the flame size would bring it down to a simmer. But what was this about a mystery ingredient?

Hmm. Cope searched the page and found "It's your memory, you dope" in his own handwriting in the margin. Ahh. So, he needed a mystery ingredient to combine with the quintessence to counteract the symptom of memory loss. Memor... no! Don't forget. THINK. Memory. What improves memory??

Quickly, Cope dumped out his entire bag of potions ingredients, searching through for ANYTHING that would affect memory. Half of them were scooped back into the bag, and Cope was left sorting through some of the more exotic ingredients they seldom used in class.

He blinked. Whoa! Potions class. What were they doing in Potions class? And why was he holding feathers? Annnnd... ooooh. A simmering cauldron. He dropped the feathers one by one into the cauldron. CLEARLY that was what he was supposed to do, right? RIGHT?

''Wha- WHAT!'' Josh, at first, got surprised at her behaviour than anger rushed inside him as well ''HOW DARE YOU CALL ME-hmph whatever!'' he let an angry breath out his nose and after his extremely vicious glare at Tori, he snacthed the moonstone. He tried to break it into pieces but it was too hard then he simply threw it into the cauldron with a low 'glump' sound. Once the Gryffindor boy believed that the moonstone was in the deepest in his potion, he started to stir it extremely fast ''Soon i'll be getting rid of this stupid poison thing''

Murtlap, rats spleen, snake venom, snake fangs, and moonstone. Wow this was a big potion. Marilyn seemed to know what she was talking about so Destiny just went with it. After the little boiling problem with the potion earlier they were lucky to have anything left in the cauldron. Now it was at a simmer. 'Soo, should we start throwing everything in now?' Hopefully it works..

Evelyn pouted for a moment. SHE wanted to make the flame bigger, but Destiny beat her to it. Then forgetting everything for the moment, she burst into giggles as if she was being tickled. Returning to her humming and flicking the rest of the stuff, whatever it was she didn't know, off the table, she waited for her potion to start boiling when hearing someone say the words rat spleen. Grimacing, she turned to the girl that said it.

The girl looked familiar, maybe Evelyn saw her in the common room or something, but that didn't matter. "Why do you need rat spleen? Sounds gross..." Well THAT was plainly obvious, but since she was extremely happy, levitating at every minute, plus including the confusion that seems to be plaguing her mind...it sounded like a pretty decent and intelligent question to her.

"Oh, that sounds good. You're great at this you know that." Carter said with a goofy smile on his face. "And you have great hair..." he said with his head leaning to one side.

"Josh sorry about that. I just feel like an emotional wreck right now as you can probably imagine." Tori said turning to Josh apologetically. She was ready to turn off her potion to test it out. Instead she called the professor over, "Professor, I think mine is ready."

''It's okay'' Josh said while stirring the substance in his cauldron before he turned back to Tori ''Actually i'm more hooked with, you know, how i am going to make up for my words, better say, yellings at Rose''. He was really in trouble. Probably she was not going to talk to him again even, he thought, his visual existence might disgust her after all those stuff. He sighed loudly when he was finished with his potion as well and he tried to keep his body still and his mouth shut as he felt the rush of anger coming back. ''Ehem, erm ehehe'' he stared back at Tori ''Sorry'' he coughed ''Professor, Professor!'' 'No you cannot yell at a professor, hold yourself boy!' ''I think i'm finished too''

Destiny saw the pout. 'How about you lower the flame? Which looks like you can do it now.' But Destiny was going to keep an extra close eye on her.

Destiny started to add all her ingredients in. She had alot to add and she hoped it worked. She had to start holding her nose because the smell was horrible. 'I hope this doesn't taste as bad as it smells!'

"Poison, what poison? You been poisoned?" Marie asked looking at the girl who said her name was Kay. "What is a SpeRevelio? Is that a dance or something?" Marie couldn't figure out what dancing and poison had to do with each other but hey, she didn't even know who the girl sitting next to her was so who was she to say anything.

Evelyn giggled excitedly as she got to lower the flame. Even if it wasn't making the flame bigger, at least she got to do something.

Firefirefirefirefire. Evelyn loved the stuff WAY too much. She would live in it if she was able to. 'Hmm, am I able to? I BET there is a way!' Smiling, she started to daydream about a fire-y mansion, which then turned her thoughts to Gryffindor and then ultimately...Josh. Oh was she going to give him a piece of her mind when class was over! *giggle*

Laughing, she suddenly wrinkled her nose, smelling something not so pleasant. Wondering if it was her own potion, she looked inside. It was kinda a...weird...color, but it didn't smell bad. 'Must be someone elses.' she thought, turning back to Destiny, face set in confusion. "When will it be done?"

Kay thought she would be laughing on the floor if she wasn't so emotional right now. "Marie we are going to try this now." Kay said looking at her. Kay put her wand on the table and looked at their potions. They looked just right and it was time to do the spell. "Ok, Marie you have to get your wand out and do what I say. Do you understand?" Kay asked picking up her wand again. She would make Marie do hers first. "Professor we are ready to do the SpeRevelio." Kay said with her hand up.

Marie got her wand out and waited for Kay to tell her what to do. "Hey, why can't I remember anything here? How come you know what we are doing and I don't?" Marie was starting to get angry again. She felt like she kept asking the same questions but she couldn't remember the answers.

Kay looked at Marie and thought they couldn't wait for the professor. Kay turned to Marie and sighed. Kay grab a dipper and took a smell couple of drops from Marie on put it on her parchment. "Marie, point your wand at your parchment and say "SPECIALIS REVELIO!" Do you understand?" Kay asked Marie. "You have to do it on your parchment I can't"

"You mean we aren't going to dance?" Marie asked as she watched Kay put a couple drops of potion on her parchment. Grabbing her wand and pointing at the parchment she said "SPECIALIS REVELIO!" "Now what do we do, how do we know if it is working?" Marie really hoped the jobber-thingy feather was the thing she needed to add, she didn't want to lose any more of her memory. If this kept up she wouldn't even know her own name.

Destiny watch Evelyn play with the fire. She was enjoying it too much. Destiny leaned in over Evelyn's cauldron to see how it looked. It didn't smell anywhere as bad as her own. 'It'll be done when it simmers. When the bubbles disappear. Which should be soon, now that the flame is down.'

Turning to her own potion, Destiny noticed it didn't have anymore boiling bubbles. Hurray! Destiny's potion was complete! 'What do I do now? She could ask Evelyn, but she probably wouldn't give her the right answer. Or she would tell her to boil her head in it. Yeah, Destiny will just ask the professor. 'Professor! What do we do when our potion is done?'

After crushing, chopping and powdering each individual ingredient, she scanned the directions for the umpteenth time and sighed. It was now or never. She added all the prepared ingredients and bit her lip. Marilyn might have appeared in control, but under the boils and feathers...she was sure her skin would be red and blotchy from the sheer aggravation, embarrassment and nerves.

Okay...we're suppose to let all of this come to a boil again until it's got a syrupy consistency. Then we lower the heat and let this thing simmer...And then it'll be done. Her green eyes looked to Destiny's and noticed the panic and desperation immediately. "Hopefully it works...but if not, im really sorry beforehand.

The notes in front of him said that he needed to boil his mixture until it thickened and then allow it to simmer. And once that was done, he could check his work. But could he take the potion? Because... even though Cope didn't remember being poisoned or making the potion in front of him or ANYTHING, he saw his notes and he was starting to feel really cruddy.

Poisoned cruddy.

Once the potion had simmered, Cope filled a phial and set it carefully on the desk beside him. "Sperevelio," Copernicus muttered. He read the revealed potion with great interest, but... he had no clue if that's what he made. He just... couldn't... remember.

"Professor, can I drink my..." Oh, Potions class!

Must. Not. Cry. Not that Fyo felt all tears, any longer. More like he was... in some sort of emotional turmoil? His nerves seemed super frazzled -- part-hysterical, part-agitated. NOT good.

At all.

"Something that... calms," he decided. He flipped open a textbook, turned over a few pages, and peered into it. Moonstone -- he was looking for the entry on moonstone. Found in various colours... I know that, what's NEW? Where are the PROPERTIES? ... Varied magical effects... yes, yes, what else? Ah, there it was - the detail that he had been searching rather frantically for. Helps one regain emotional balance.

YUS! That was what he needed. But would moonstone be enough? Fyo shook his head, muttered something under his breath, and turned over another leaf. His head sort of... hurt. Yeah, he didn't feel too good.

No surprise there, unfortunatley.

Collecting her books and other stuffs hurriedly in her hands, Alice changed her place and sat next to Fyo, who looked terribly unwell and shaking.

OH..My Lion. She gasped and gently touched his arm. "Fyo? Are you alright?" not knowing that her voice was shaking eventhough she did know it was just a lesson and some sort of experiment. Whatever it is, she couldnt see him like that. Oh..she wanted to see her Roaring..nah..RWARing Lion back.
