Antonio was busy getting the classroom ready for the students. He knew they would soon be filing in for the first lesson of the season, and wanted to make sure everything was in order. He set his desk up at the front of the room and set up a stack of books there. The books were labelled with the title "Self Defense".

"Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Hogwarts and the first Muggle Studies class. Please pick up a Self Defense textbook and have a seat. We're just going to wait for the class to fill up a bit, as usual, so make yourselves comfortable." He smiled. This was an important lesson he would be teaching today. It was similar to a class he had taught a few terms back on martial arts, yet different. He thought the class would find the lesson useful and informative.

The poor husband could see a streak of empathy in the Robber's eyes, maybe his heartfelt story did sway her a bit. However, she took his bag with her and scampered away behind the car, "What kind of robber are you huh? Hiding behind a car, come face me like a man!" He pressed his lips but couldn't manage to stop himself from chuckling.

God, this whole scene was stretching! He must do it. Leaning forward towards Sylvia, Blake narrowed his eyes and acted as if he was genuinely concentrating on her teeth, "Uh, you have something stuck in your teeth." He pointed at her teeth and nodded his head. Now now, this should do the trick and it must make her spastic.

You can stick to it, if you'd like to.'' then he stopped for a second or so, something was stuck in his mind ''It's your first time, isn't it?'' he asked laughing, the thought that Rose'd steal anything seemed hilarious since she was from another pure and rich family.

"My first time? You mean stealing something?" she asked looking at his book bag. 'Why would you need to steal anything? You already have everything you want.' the voice said in her head. 'Thank you Mr. Obvious.' she mentally rolled her eyes. "Yes, pretty much, unless you count me stealing my parent's wands every now and then." she said, laughing a little and rubbing her arm slightly.

"I took karate when I was a little girl" she laughed, she wanted to kiss him but she didn't want to get into trouble with the Professor.

" I guess we will not have to worry about anyone" Jason told Victoria. " you and I are both tough" Jason said to Victoria. " Now remember we are being taught and talking about self-defense which is not karate" Jason explained to Victoria.

Antonio saw that everyone seemed to be doing well with the exercise. "Would you all like more time to work on this, or do you think you all have gotten it?", he asked the class.

After thinking for a moment, he decided. "I'm going to let all of you act out in here for a while, but I'm going to post the homework. Make sure everyone continues to play safely, that's the whole idea of this exercise, to keep safe."

You hear rustling in the bushes nearby, and an unknown man jumps out at you shaking a stick. What are five things you think you could do in this situation to get out of trouble? (5 points)

2. You are a muggle, again. This time you are an adult. You are alone in an unfamiliar city and you have no money. There are some very bizarre people in the area around you and although they haven't done or said anything yet, they just give you a sense of being dangerous. What should you do? (5 points)

3. How important do you think martial arts are in self defense? If you were to learn self defense, which discipline would you practice?

Blake turned around as the Professor addressed the class, "Oh Siiiirr, it's going great. Thank you for such a fun lesson." He thanked the professor politely.

The word homework made his stomach flip a bit. How hard can it be? Huh? Muggle Studies was his favorite subject, c'mon he can pull it off, no?

"I'm glad that you have enjoyed it, Blake," Antonio smiled. "You did very well in class. All of you have done a good job, and I'm happy to see you all act so responsibly. Remember to play it safe and you should be fine. It's always better to keep a calm head rather than panicking."

''Well...no one would call you a thief for that but i'm sure your parents would not be pleased to know that'' he looked up as Professor Dumont spoke ''The homework looks quite easy'' this was probably going to be his best class after DADA maybe even better than DADA. ''I really like that kind of work. No stupid informatiom from a book, you only need your own judgment. Anyway...'' he turned back to Rose ''I think it's time you defend yourself against me as the criminal''

"No, they weren't pleased at all." she smiled widely as if proud of that fact. Evelyn looked up to read the homework, frowning. 'Pretend to be a muggle? Ugh.' Then was brought back to reality when Josh spoke again. "Defend myself against you?...Without a wand." She suddenly became very nervous at the thought of having no wand and trying to defend herself. Nothing good ever came of that with her, but she didn't want to look like she was wimping out. "Okay." she said uncertainly.

''Yep. Without a wand. Just imagine you have no magic, it's not that hard. I'm sure you can do it'' he stepped away a little and indicated his bag ''I'm going to try stealing it from you then let's see what you can do.'' he stared at her face. She seemed a little bit uneasy but he was sure she could do it. She was probably excited because Josh could tell she never even thought of any way of defending without a wand. ''Are you ready?'' he asked though it was quite absurt for a thief to ask before act.

'Right, here that? Without a wand. No magic. Like a muggle. Got it?' she yelled in her mind. 'Yea yea, got it.' the voice said tensely back. She suddenly had the urge to roll her eyes, but kept it back, taking the bag from Josh. "Hmm, nope not ready yet. Turn around for a few seconds so i can run away in horror and to safety first, than you can rob me." she joked over her shoulder as she faced away from him. Laughing, she waited for him to become the 'thief', pretending to be checking a watch on her arm that she has seen muggles do before, her heart pounding, trying to figure out what she was to do. 'Maybe i should just give him the bag. Who carries around important stuff anyway?' she grumbled in her mind.

Fallon tried not to giggle as Evan shouted for help, just like she had. She noticed his grip loosen ever so slightly on his bag. She reached out for it swiftly when she thought Evan least suspected it. She grabbed on and pulled as hard as she could. She felt the bag slip out of his grip and looked in astonishment as she held it in her hand.

"Nice try Evan," she said grinning.

Fallon turned around as Professor Dumont spoke up. "Professor this was one of the best lessons I've ever been too!" Fallon wasn't exagerating either. She loved Muggle Studies lessons. They were always interesting.

Fallon then turned back to Evan. "So are we done? Or do you want another chance to protect your bag?"

" Thanks for the leasson Professor DuMont" Jason tells him. " This is my favorite subject and you are my favorite teacher and I missed both for awhile" Jason said to Professor DuMont.

Sylvia did a few twirls whilst giggling. "Who cares if I hide behind cars? I gots your bags!" She grinned evil and waved the invisible bag in his face, but not too close, she didn't want him snatching it back now did she? "You'll have to catch me if you want it back."

Sylvia stoppped and raised her eyebrow. "Excuse me?" There wasn't time to get out a mirror, she'd just have to keep quiet and not open her mouth! Easy enough, she'd had plenty of experience with not talking. Hehehe. "You can't fool me!" She said this while her hand covered her mouth, so he couldn't see her teeth. EWW, what was stuck there anyway?

Just like many muggles in the city do as they waited for their friends or co-workers before huge buildings rgiht before they were killed, abducted or robbed just like he was about to put on a play. Trying the shake off the image that Rose being kidnapped while waiting just like that in the corner of a street, he jogged towards her, slipped behind her and wrapped her neck with his arm being careful not to hurt her. Next thing she knew, she heard him speak in a deep voice, trying to sound scary. 'Well i think he accomplished that.' she thought, still trying to think of a way to get out of this situation...with no wand, and no force. 'Is that even possible!?' She thought of screaming, which would have probably worked if she was actually in the city if this happened, but she was in a classroom where no one was paying attention. 'Maybe, pretend to faint? Nah that wouldn't work. Wait, what about crying? That always makes people nervous!' It was a lame attempt, Evelyn knew that, but it was worth a shot, and it would buy her some time to think of something that was actually effective. When was she ever going to go into the city anyway? Rose turned face him with tearful eyes 'You wouldn't hurt me would you?' and at her sight memories of past hit Josh. Really bad ones. Their house was in flames his dad and mom nowhere in sight, a man with a dark mask dragging him as he was struggling to free himself out of his grip, than he faced the masked man his eyes on a scar somewhere near his lips and tears filled his eyes as his arm, which the masked man was jamming, ached. 'I'm only a child, you won't kill me, will you?'. His grip on Rose loosened but shaking off the images he got back in the role ''We can discuss about it when i've got the bag'' then, wanting to finish this off, he tried to force the bag out her grip.

Evelyn almost smiled when his grip loosened, but reconsidered when his expression changed. What was wrong? She forgot that he was supposed to be a robber and she was just about to ask him that very question when his grip tightened again and started to force the bag out of her grip. Thinking quickly, she grabbed his wrist with her right hand, turning so she was facing away from him and pretend to ram her left elbow into his side. 'Well technically I'm not actually using force, so I'm still playing by the rules.' she thought smugly.
