He was sorry? He should be apologizing to Roma. She was the one without anyone to keep company. A tear threatened to escape and Miranda brushed her sleeve roughly across her face.

She was about to argue some more, but then he practically called her out on it. The real reason she was here. She froze, looking straight at the Professor, her breath caught in her throat. "It's...not." she frowned, looking like it was obvious it was all about Roma.

Sighing, she shook her head a little, looking down at the ground. "Sorry..." her voice came out in almost a whisper. What was she thinking? She felt like a complete fool. No doubt Masterson thought that too. "I...Sorry." Now with more determination in her voice, she glance up to him. "You're right, Professor. I'm sorry for wasting your time." And with that she turned to leave. I need chocolate.

"You're not wasting my time at all," he frowned as she turned to walk away. "It's obvious there's something wrong...I want to be able to help. Why don't you come in? I can make you a hot chocolate, if you would like. You don't even have to talk about what's bothering you. I just find...that a nice cup of hot chocolate is good for soothing the nerves. I'll even go get Roma and bring her inside. What do you say?"

Hot CHOCOLATE? Miranda hesitated for a moment, thinking it over. She could either go back to the castle and hide under her soft warm blanket and avoid Mr. Masterson until graduation, because she had just made a fool of herself infront of the man, OR she could get FREE HOT CHOCOLATE.

Hmmm... She turned her head, sniffing once, to look at him. "Really?" she asked considering taking his offer. But, she needed to calm down and it would be embarrasing enough that he had seen her outburst without having to sit down and drink chocolate in silence... or something.

With a small smile, she replied. "Thankyou, sir...but I should get...going." she blushed slightly, "And I'm sorry again for the..." she shook her head and waved her arms like a mad person to show what she meant. "Good day, Mr. Masterson." she did a little wave.

Constantine smiled gently and nodded his head. "Alright. Well, you know where I am if you want to talk," he nodded, before returning her little wave and then stepping back inside his hut. "Or hot chocolate," he called out to her, with a little laugh. And with that, he closed his door over went back to sitting on his couch.

After what had happened earlier, Kylie still felt that ache. She didn't really know what to do.. Kay was upset herself.. she really didn't have SO many friends here at Hogwarts. For some reason, something brought her here. She still hadn't cried yet, she doubted she would at this point. She felt a weird sensation of loneliness as she walked up to Mr. Masterson's door, knocking ruefully. She didn't know why she was here, but she hoped that whatever in her brought her here wasn't being a git.

With a nod and another thankyou, Miranda made her way back up to the castle. She turned with a giggle at Mr. Masterson's shouting for hot chocolate. Yeah, she might just take up his offer on that, someday.

On her way, she noticed another Hufflepuff looking morose and close to tears, walking towards the hut. What was it with Huffies...Were they like, emotionally unstable or something?? Well, that girl would probably be getting that hot chocolate.

But today, she was going to sit in a chair in the commonroom and eat her chocolate. And off she went to the castle.

Sitting down.

Knock on the door.

Andd..getting back up again.

Opening up the door, he found himself looking at the girl that had been there a few months ago. "Hello," he greeted. "What can I help you with?"

Kylie felt a bit awkward...she didn't want to be impolite, but she was passed feeling anything at the moment. "I got dumped." She said plainly, hoping he'd understand a bit. She was holding together well.. but she wanted someone older to talk to, someone like a parent. Mr. Masterson was the only member of the Hogwarts staff that had been.. open with her. "That and I'm pretty sure there are people in Slytherin trying to do stuff to one of my best friends and I'm still figuring out what to do about it." Kylie suddenly flushed of all color. She felt sick.

Constantine blinked. He didn't do so well with people's relationship issues. Surely people had figured that you when he glared Rafe into the next dimension the other week. "You got dumped? What Slytherins?...Are you okay?" She didn't look too good.

Kylie didn't know how to explain. She didn't really care that she got dumped, it was more that she was just stressed out. She was feeling kind of..lonely, in a way. "I.. I don't know. I just feel weird." She said, being entirely truthful.
