Alex batted her lashes at him. "Why sir! I do declare that you have swept me of my little old feet! Lands sake, whatever shall I do now?" She kept up the accent more, since he seemed to like it. "Mercy me! You my my poor lil heart just go all pitter patter!" She winked at him laughing.

Alex sighed a bit. "Well no, I am not Brody, so I hope that is a plus for me." She looked up at him. "Well bring it on, I am ready." Alex nodded seriously, but she had a playful smile on her face.

"I will not have you fading away on my watch Mister!" She said smiling up at him as she pulled him down the stairs. "You will get your toast whether you like it or not!"

"Very cute. Reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara, from Gone With the Wind. Ha!" He remembered watching that movie last year. The southern accent was quite interesting. "Too bad I can't pull off the southern gent thing."

"No, you're no Brody," he agreed. And that was a very good thing 'cause she was just plain scary at times. "You didn't want to hit me in the head with a my Beater's bat. So that's a plus right there Kaika was never making Brody Beater again as long as he was on the Team.

He gave in and let her pull him down the stairs. "Fade away? I'm bigger than you." Oh well. He wanted the toast anyway. Why he was letting her drag him off.

Alex smiled as Torin spoke. "Why thank you most kind sir! You made me feel all'a Twitter inside!" She giggled as she dropped the accent. "I saw that movie, I didn't like it really. It was long, and super sad!" She nodded. "That is too bad, perhaps we could work on it?" She suggested teasingly.

Alex shook her head. "Why would I want to hit you in the head with a beater's bat?" She asked blinking, and then she opened her eyes wider. "OH! Speaking of Quidditch, I am playing in the game this weekend! Will you be able to come and watch me? Jack asked me to play." She grinned happily. She was pretty excited about being able to play.

Alex stopped pulling Torin down the stairs, and she stepped up on a stair so she was now even with him in height. "I know, but I want to take care of you okay?" She asked as she leaned forward and gently kissed his cheek.

He laughed. "I didn't really like it much either. But my sister wanted to watch it." He rolled his eyes. Dani had bad taste in some things. Like book series. And movies. And fashion. "You want to teach me how to talk like a southern gentleman?" That could go.. rather badly.

"Um, I sorta kinda didn't tell her about finding a body so she hates my guts now." Yeah, that was pretty well it. He had a crazy ex that wanted to kill him. "You're playing? That's amazing! Of course." He had no idea that she was able to sub. That was awesome.

He smiled as she kissed his cheek. "Well, okay. Can you also do my OWLs for me? To take care of me? 'cause the stress of them is gonna kill me." Well, he had to try to get out of doing them somehow. Even if he was sorta joking.

Alex laughed a little, "My sister was the one who made me watch!" She said rolling her eyes. She did not know why, Ava certainly did not like that movie, perhaps it was just to torture her? Who knew. Merlin maybe, but she certainly didn't. "Well we could try, but seeing as I am not to great with talking like a Southern Gentleman, perhaps not." She grinned.

"So that is the reason Brody won't talk to you? Just that?" Alex's brow furrowed, that was a stupid reason to break up with somebody. "Wow.." She mumbled. "Just wow, well don't worry. I won't break up with you over something stupid." She said nodding her head emphatically. She blinked, of course they weren't official or anything.. "Or you know.. if.. we.. nevermind." She stopped rambling, and began to play with her hair instead. A nervous habit.

"Yes I am playing! I was so excited to be asked!" She grinned at him.

"Do your OWLs for you? Well I would, if I was any good at school work." She winked at him, "If I did them, you might do worse than you had if you did them. But I will be here after you do them." She kissed his cheek again.

"Your sister made you watch it too, huh?" That was sorta amusing in a way. They both had sisters with not the best taste in movies and other things. "I'd be a bit worried if you were great with it." He winked at her.

"Er, well.. I don't know why she broke up with me. She found out about that after she dumped me." He would probably never know why she dumped him now. Seeing as he had a feeling that she wouldn't talk to him until he Graduated. And after that he doubted that he'd ever see her unless he was somewhere with Sylvia. "No, you're right. I know you wouldn't do that." Her awkwardness over this was adorable. And she was a sweetheart.

"Well, I'm glad that you are playing. I know you will do a great job." He grabbed a strand of her hair and started playing with it.

"I'm sure that you would do better at them than me. You could make me ace them." He smiled at her and grabbed her hand. "Come on. I need my food now.

Alex nodded, "Yes she did, and I don't know why seeing as she hated it as well." Alex shook her head. "I think she just likes to torture me." Alex nodded, "Perhaps it is a twin thing?" She wondered out loud.

Alex shook her head, "I still find that very very weird. To just break up with someone for no reason?" She shook her head, her opinion of this Brody girl was seriously going down hill quickly. To dump a guy like Torin for no good reason. Seriously who did that? Alex sighed a little, and then blushed a bit. "No, I wouldn't do that at all. I care to much about you." She said softly, as she leaned toward him a bit.

"Thank you, perhaps I can charm the boys on the other team so we will win?" She asked him winking. "I am just kidding, I wouldn't do that." She smiled more as he picked up some of her hair and began to play with it.

"Well maybe if we took them together we could ace it, but me by myself? Probably not." She smiled and held onto him hand. "Yes oh handsome knight, lead on!"

"I think it is because my twin does that too. Why she's making me read Twilight." It was so bad that he wanted to gouge his scream half the time he was reading it. He should so write a Vampire book a lot better than Twilight. Yep, he would do that.

He nodded slowly. But he also knew that she wasn't a big fan of Brody. Well, who of his friends was? "Mmhmm. She said there was a reason but she wouldn't tell me what it is." And she was blushing now. Awww. So cute. "I know you wouldn't. I wouldn't let you 'cause I care about you too."

He fake scowled at her comment about frowning the boys and then smiled again. "Very funny. I know you wouldn't do that though. You are too good a Veela." She really had to be. She was just really nice in general.

"Okay, I eat and then you help me study," he said as he gently pulled her down the stairs with him.

Alex giggled as Torin mentioned Twilight, "Well, perhaps you can say you have read them, and then when she asks you questions about them, I can help you answer them. I have read them all.. so perhaps you won't have to put yourself through all that torture, what do you say?" She asked him. She grinned at him.

Alex was trying not to get mad, but seriously.. Breaking up with Torin for seemingly no reason and then not telling him? Who did that? No wonder he was hurting so bad. Not knowing what he did. "Well, I think you deserve an explanation at least. That is my thought, I would want to know why someone broke up with me." She sighed a bit. "Good! I am glad we are both clear on that point!" She bounced up and down a little bit.

"Of course I wouldn't do that! I am a good girl!" She nodded as she opened up her eyes wide, and put an angelic expression on her face. "Seriously, look at this face." She smiled, still an expression of innocence on her face.

"Okay, that sounds good to me, where are we going to eat?" She asked as she walked down the stairs with him.

"Okay, I eat and then you help me study. What a good girlfriend you are." He sighed in relief. She was so not evil like Brody was. It was a relief. He dragged her to the bottom of the stairs.

"Let's go to the Hufflepuff Table."

"Hehe. My mom. She... hehe." She was a funny lady. Plymouth waved off whatever he was going to say about her before Daphne told him he talked a lot. He did talk a lot. He did. "I doubt YOUR mom would be way into a bionic hand either. I mean, I'm already skating on some thin ice on that front as is." Him not being... a well-to-do. A Toussaint, in other words. NO. Plymouth was not one of those.

But Daphne's dad like Plymouth. hehehehe


He took a seat on the stairs and patted....err wiped the spot next to him. "Let's picnic! Test our hypothesis about wolves and stairs."

What would Judith Hopton have to say about a bionic hand? Probably nothing very nice or polite--or in fact, nothing that should be spoken out loud; at least while Plymouth was around. "You say it like you care what Mother is or isn't into."

Daphne didn't care. Not anymore.

For several seconds, Daphne stared at the spot Plymouth had, in his way, prepared for her to sit. Chewing on her lower lip, the petite sixteen year old whipped out her wand and...punished the step for being dirrrrty.

"Just..making sure..."

Then she promptly dropped her butt on the step. Ahem.

"I do care. You know I do." Plymouth cared. MOMMA's were SOOO important. Plymouth wanted her mum to be as in love with him as Plymouth's own mother was with Daphne. "I'll win her over eventually." Probably. Hopefully. WIth a little luck and whole lot of charm.


"Hehe. Here," Plymouth handed Daphne the half of the bready-roll he'd left. She deserved half, at least. Here you go Daphne! Eat eat eat! Plymmy will feed you!

"How very persistent of you," commented Daphne dryly, plucking the half-a-bread-roll from Plymouth's hands. She had been trying to win over her Mother, well, her entire life. "Good luck with that," added the blond thinking that her kind, but clearly deluded boyfriend needed it.

Oh Ye of Little Faith strikes again. Plymouth eased an arm around her and slid her to his side. Then he butted her head with his nose. "What if I offered my babysitting skills? That earn me points?"

Ripping the bread apart, Daphne raised a single brow. "I...Mother has nannies to do that. Nannies." As in more than one. As in--that was highly unnecessary.

Plus, just...no. Daphne would not have Plymouth babysit Isaac. It was just...A No.

"A nannie. Nannie Plymouth! I'd just need the little uniform, right? I could wear it. You know I don't care what I wear." Obviously, since Plymouth just wore... whatever... pretty much all the time.

Stare.

Once Daphne was done with that, she placed a small piece of bread in her mouth. "You're not wearing a dress, Plymouth," she said after chewing. Miss Hopton shook her head.

Plymouth Morgans should not wear dresses, erm, ever.

"Hehe. You're giving me that look." That look. Plymouth picked up his chicken leg to keep from saying anything else about being a Nanny for her little brother. He'd just bring it up again later, after she forgot. Or something.

Chewchewgnaw. "You reckon there was really a wolf running around? Hehe." He offered Daphne the other non-gnawed side of his chicken leg.

Tino hopped down the stairs two at a time. "Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate?," he sang to himself. "Ten, twelve, fourteen, sixteen, who likes scones with clotted cream? MeeeeeeeEEEEE. . ." He held a stack of books on top of his black matted head, which swayed back and forth haphazardly. It was NEWTs prep time, apparently, at least everyone in the common room was worrying about it. Eh. Generalized testing was a government conspiracy. Tino wasn't concerned. The aliens wouldn't care about his NEWT scores.

"Daphne! Plymouth," Tino sang. "You're awfullyy clooose. You look kinda snuglyy. Hey! Are you boyfriend and girlfriend now?!" He stopped on the step above the pair. He bent down low, low, over Plymouth's shoulder. "WELL?"

For Plymouth's unnecessary statement, Daphne handed him another one of those looks. Of course, that was all before she became sidetracked at the sound of steps (and singing). It was not a wolf but Constantino, the crazy Ravenclaw boy-person.

"One," began the blond raising a finger. "Hello to you too, Tino. Why, yes I am doing well. Two, don't hop down the stairs, you'll trip. Three...." She paused to stare and frown at Tino's...obvious...close proximity. "Personal space. Step back. You're suffocating me--him, Plymouth...me too."


"Four...erm..." Four?

"Four, for as long as she'll have me, yes," Plymouth finished for Daphne to answer Tino's question. He offered Tino the chicken leg since Daphne didn't seem interested. It was only half eaten, really.

Nice to see the personal bubble was still in place and fully functional for everyone else. Not that Tino would notice. Plymouth's head was constantly in the clouds; but Tino's was off around Neptune. At least.


Plymouth and Tino were clearly going to ACE NEWTS. "Hehe."

"Personal space," Tino guffawed, as if Daphne had just told a good joke. He slapped his knee. Unfortunately, the other hand didn't hold onto his book stack so well by itself, and they all tumbled sideways onto the staircase. Most Potente Potions and Steps to Success! for the Charmingly Challenged
slid off the side and went flying into the depths below. Tino peered over the edge. Three stories down, they all heard some muffled thunks and an 'Ow!'. It echoed. "Look ouuutt!" Tino shouted.

The Greek boy plopped down on the upper step. "I hate NEWTs," he said darkly.
Several moments passed before he suddenly accepted the chicken leg from Plymouth's greasy fingers. "But I like drumsticks," Tino added, taking a bite. "So tell me Daphne--what does Plymouth have to do for you to keep him?"

"Eh," came Daphne's addition to the conversation. In order to buy herself some time, she busily finished off her own half of the dinner roll while Tino did, erm, Tino-like things; things like throwing books off into the abyss and towards unsuspecting victims, apparently. "For starters, he needs to not throw books off staircases."

"I didn't throw them," Tino said, exasperated. "They fell. Big difference. I only throw things at people I like. But not hard." He leaned far over to his left and cupped a hand to his mouth. "They fell!," he yelled towards the floor far below.

"Y'know, I always wonder how chickens get around without their legs," Tino commented, studying his drumstick. "Go on, Daphne. What else does Plymouth need to do?"
