Reid just smiled as she chattered on about what a great summer he must have had. "Yeah well acting is actually my primary source of income, although modelling is what I got into first. Hmm I'm sure I mentioned it, but it could have slipped my mind. I think I was more intent on getting you to walk like a model at the time. You didn't do too badly either." he said, recalling the day fondly. It had been fun. It was also the day he met Rachel. His expression soured slightly at that thought before clearing again.

"Chicago huh? If I'd known I would have called or something. Well probably not since I don't actually know any of your contact details but yeah..." She wanted the title of the film? That was a little weird for him. Maybe because most people don't ask an actor the title of the film since the interviewers normally know. It was nice though, that she was asking. "The Unholy. It's not the most original title but when your dealing with a muggle market they normally aren't. When it comes to film titles at least." Reid informed her, giving a slight shrug. "However the script was better than the title so people that watch it should be happy." Hopefully.

"Technically I invited Rachel, who invited Livvy because she wanted someone else to spend time with while I had to work. It was hard to get the director to agree to let them come with us and even then it was only because I used my own money when it came to flights and hotel rooms." He said with a small sad smile. "Unfortunately things probably would have been better had he refused to let them come. While the movie turned out great this summer was not so much." Shaking his head slightly he brightened again, there was no need to make Via feel sad. "So tell me, how was Chicago? It's been ages since I've been there."

"I'm glad." Reid informed her, in reference to her last statement. It was good to make her laugh. With Via he didn't have to walk on eggshells and it was a relief.

He still remember that time, how bad... "yeah... Don't mention it. It's kinda embarrassing," she told him. "I was never born to walk on ramp stages. Even standing in front of a crowd makes me faint." She was never good at it. "That was the last day i talked to you," she said as she recalled.

Via just smiled when he said he could have called her, "I don't know their number either. And i wasn't really familiar with the place. You see... i've been in Halesworth all my life and i just had the chance to be in another place except Hogwarts last summer," she chuckled. That was another embarrassing thing but then she was glad she couldn't find any other place to go except their home at Halesworth.

"The Unholy... So that seemed like creepy huh?" she asked. "Was it a mystery movie? Who were your co-actors?" She loved mystery and detective movies and shows, it's not as if she wanted to be an Auror...but yeah she did wanted to be.

"I see... so that was so generous of you to pay for everything," Via said as she took her seat at the stairs. The moving thing was making her kinda dizzy already. She then sensed something wrong had happened when Reid continued on what he was saying... "Why? Oh probably you wouldn't want me to ask. But i'm sorry.. i'm too nosy and i couldn't help it," she grinned. "What happened?" she said curiously. She remembered Rachel at the seventh floor, "Does it have something to do about Rachel being a sad when i saw her? I knew something was wrong when i talked to her but then she didn't wanna share it," she added. She's too talkative again.

He had cut the topic when he asked her how was it in Chicago, It's beautiful. "We had so much fun. My real father drove us all the way to down town and we went shopping. The boutiques were fab... it's such a busy place. There were so many people. I had to grip Natalia's hand so i wouldn't get lost. That was my first time there so what if i find myself alone? I couldn't use any magic at all," she told him. "We had a whole day shopping and then we ended up eating at one of the eateries in Hyde park. The place was nice and convenient... the most busy i say? but don't ask me where it is located coz i don't know how we reached that place. It took us days to finish the simple tour... Lake Michigan was very beautiful. And so are everyone else who lived there." she had to stop. She had been talking and talking but she still have lots of stuffs to tell but she have to cut it short. "I woke up one day and found people buzzing at our house coz they wanted to take a look of me... now... I had to hide coz i don't wanna show up. They were mum and Dad's friends. They've been there since i was lost and that's for 15 years."

There she have said it all... in one go. "Am i talking too much?" she asked him. "Just tell me."

"You shouldn't get embarrassed by it. But I promise not to bring it up again." He reassured her, realising that bringing up something that was so clearly embarrassing to her would be a bad idea.

"Yeah it's kinda like a horror movie slash thriller. Hmm have you ever heard of Sienna Miller?" Reid asked, not sure if she had or not. "She's the female lead. Other than that a few of my other friends were in there too." he said with a shrug, not actually remembering half the names of the people he had worked with over the holidays.

"I invited them so I should pay right?" he asked, brushing off the sweet comment. Really it may have been true but the male inside him blanched at his actions being described as cute. "Are you alright?" Reid asked Via, seeing her sit down as if she was dizzy.

"Rachel was sad?" he asked, suddenly serious. "It depends on when you saw her as to what she was sad about really. Recently she got some shocking news that made her upset but before that I suppose yours truly can be blamed for her depression. Having her meet Sienna and leaving Sienna and Livvy alone wasn't one of my best ideas and lets just say I messed up royally and had her go back to her uncle in a rage and tears." Reid said, shame lacing his words. It wasn't his proudest moment ever and each time he was reminded of it he felt a knife stab his chest.

"It sounds like fun. Chicago to me is one of the most beautiful places. There are parts of it that just let you melt into them and relax unlike in New York and LA where it seems people never go to sleep." He smiled once more as she described how she hid out from her parents friends, "that's so cute," he said aloud without actually meaning to. "So I gather that Natalia is your sister or something?" he questioned. "And you aren't talking too much at all."

She just smiled at the thought of it. "It is? I think i've heard of her..." she nodded looking at her shoes. "...somewhere... Uhmmm... Was there some killing scenes in there? I kinda hate those movies..." she said... "They actually make me shiver.. like it's real and they make me paranoid. But i'll watch for it... coz that's your movie..." she smiled at him.

Realising the situation it was just right for him to do so... she agreed. "Yeah.. just a bit dizzy with the stairs moving left to right... then right to left again."

"Yeah... i could see it in her eyes," she answered. "It was a few weeks after the opening of the term. I really don't know why... But she's alone and..." Hearing him say he was to blamed for Rachel's sadness, "I can't exactly get what happened... Livvy and Sienna?" she asked him again hoping she wouldn't be hated for it. "I saw Livvy once this term down at the grounds and she seemed fine. We didn't talk about her summer though," she said. "So you broke up? That's one thing why she was depressed?" She felt sorry for them both. "I'm sorry. Have you tried to talk to her?"

Talking about Chicago made the atmosphere a little bit happier, "I'd have to agree with that. Chicago is one of the most beautiful places i've been. You can really relax and unwind." she said enthusiastically. "You should try to spend your vacation in there again. There are so much fun waiting in there than just spending time in New york... although i'd love to be there too." Locking herself in her room and pretending to be sleeping saved her day during those times. "Funny thing..." Natalia... her lovely and sweet sister. "Right... She's my sister. Older than me by seven years."

"Umm there are some of those scenes yeah but mostly just as flashback sequences and stuff. Really Sienna doesn't go for that stuff and since it was her dad's company producing the film what Sienna wanted Sienna got." Reid said, trying not to give too many details and make the girl sound like what she really was. "They make me paranoid too but if you cover your eyes you should be okay. Like I said there aren't many in there as they wanted to market it to a certain age."

"Few weeks after term began? Yeah well you can blame me for that. Although really half the things that happened were a set up by Livvy and Sienna. See what you put two girls together who for different reasons both want a break-up to occur they tend to think of a multitude of scenarios that work to drive a wedge between the couple. It also doesn't help that they would both be able to gauge the reaction of us because they knew at least one of us well enough to know how we react in nearly every situation." Reid said somewhat exasperated. "But still I didn't make things any better especially in France." Reid looked down ashamed once more before his head shot up when she said Livvy had looked fine. "Really? Well I suppose Rachel didn't stop talking to her for around a month, actually over a month because of what happened. Plus she never liked me anyway so I guess she wouldn't really have any feelings of guilt over the holidays."

"Yeah I've spoken to Rachel. Things seem to be getting better. That's how I know about the other reason for her depression. I don't know if she actually trusts me but she can speak to me and look at me almost like she did when we first met so I'd say it's good yeah?" he asked, somewhat rhetorically.

"Hopefully I wont be working all next Summer and will be able too. I actually have some horses in a stable down there and so it'd be nice to see them again and go riding. That and Chicago is the least likely place my parents will look for me in." No matter how many years passed they never seemed to get the fact that when he didn't want to be found he'd go to Chicago.

"Seven years older? That must be cool to have someone with a greater life experience in your life. I think that having an older sibling would be great because you can learn so much from them." Talking of siblings his heart clenched slightly. Yeah siblings would definitely help people since they would make sure that whatever the parents may lack the child would never grow up with only that type of influence.

The way he spoke about Sienna made her think that the girl's powerful enough to have whatever she wants... she really is. "I couldn't imagine how rich they could be to produce a movie and all," she said trying to form the view in her mind, "What Sienna wanted Sienna got.." she whispered. "Kids like those are kinda hard to handle.. they try to react rebelliously when the time comes that you can't give what they want." She isn't talking in particularly to the lead actress but based upon her readings and stuffs.

"Cover my eyes... I just don't wanna see the bloody fights and all but i usually do that especially when it's ghost stories.. i'm really a coward person when it comes to those things..." But the fact that she isn't scared at the ghosts at Hogwarts, it's a totally different story. "I actually had a classmate before Hogwarts who can see ghosts.. and every time she tells stories about them we would scream. I couldn't imagine it how someone can handle such things that they could see earth bound spirits."

Going back to Rachel, "A set up?" Oh my... Perhaps that's why Rachel said she might be the only person who actually cared. "So you mean... Rachel and Livvy aren't in good terms?" Via knew they're best friends, if she wasn't mistaken. "You couldn't control the occurrence of conflicts in a relationship but at least you can try to lessen them," she told him when he kept blaming himself. "You had a fault and somewhere people got too much involved in the situation making it worse." Things are beginning to get clearer now for Via. She had been so out of track for long. "All along... Livvy didn't like you?"

"That's better... I've heard a lot of situations wherein when they break up they don't speak to each other anymore... I impossibly know how it feels but it's better if things are settled. You lose a love but you can gain back an old friend." Here she goes again giving advices.

"Horses? That's cool. Had never ridden a horse before." She'd love to go back to Chicago next summer and spend another summer holiday with her family perhaps she could bring her muggle parents although she knew it's impossible.

She happily agreed with him, "It is really cool to have one. I have dreamed of having one before i met her. All my life i wanted someone to talk to in times of trouble when i can't talk to my parents." She love her sister so much. "But what's more fun is that you guys get to spend the night together talking about nonsense and laughing." She had been so busy talking about her sister, she noticed Reid was somewhat feeling uneasy, "Are you okay?" she asked. "Do you have siblings?" She didn't know if she had asked it right but then she just wanted to know.

"Let's just say that her family are part of LA's elite. Also her mother owns her own fashion company for kids so they make heaps. Enough for any child to become spoilt. I guess the problem was that she was always used to people, including me giving her whatever she wanted when she wanted it. And then suddenly this summer things didn't go how she wanted them to so she made them." Reid said shrugging, not too bitter at Sienna. It wasn't her fault she'd been taught that she could get away with those things.

"Umm no I'm pretty sure Rachel and Livvy are still best friends. But yeah it's good to have Rachel back on speaking terms again." Reid stayed quiet as she spoke. What Via said was true. He couldn't control the conflicts and he couldn't have stopped them from happening. He knew Sienna so he should have known she would try something but at the same time it wasn't all his fault. "Thanks Via. Your right." he said giving the girl a slight smile.

"Yeah well I suppose it is better this way. Still though I'm not sure if Rachel and I were ever really friends." That was true. They hadn't started going out officially until the end of term but there had always been something more than friendship between them. "So it'll be nice to see if we can work as friends."

"Horses. I've taken riding lessons since I was a baby I think. My parents always thought that people like US should know how to ride. Whatever people like us meant. But it's fun once you get used to the height difference and controlling the horse. Falling off though isn't fun at all." Falling off a horse hurt as Reid knew from various experiences. Still if you just got back in the saddle you'd get better and eventually you'd be able to ride confidently.

Shaking his head Reid looked back at Via. "I'm fine," he reassured her. "And no I don't. I did have a twin at one stage but he died when I was around seven or eight. I was thinking of a friend actually." he informed her, not sure if he should tell her that he'd been thinking of Rachel and her situation with her family.

It was frightening that there are people out there who can do those. That they try to manipulate people so they could get their happiness. And soon she noticed they've been talking too much of her..

She smiled back at him, "Rachel deserves every happiness," she thoughtfully said. That was one thing she really meant for her. "I would have to talk to Livvy soon. It's been months since i last saw her again. I wonder where she is lurking now," she sniggered.

Friends... "I'm sure you'll be... Probably be more again like the same way before," she assured him. "If you guys are meant to be then you'll be together."

"SHould be..." she said. She chuckled at what he said that to his parents people like them should learn how to ride a horse. "The way you're saying it make it so fun." That was indeed very true. "Yeah, falling really isn't fun."

"You did.." she said sadly and she felt bad again for asking when he told her his twin died, "Oh!!! Sorry." She felt silent for a moment and stared at the portraits again. "Why?" she started. "What's wrong with your friend?"

Doo doo do, doo doooo do, doo do do do do- ACK!!!!

Nikki jumped, and almost fell off the stairs. Which totally wouldn't be a good idea because they were MOVING!!! Why were the stairs moving?!? Who in Merlin;'s name thought of doing that?!?

C'mon, that's just freaky! And it messed up the photo she was trying to take too....

"Yeah she does." Reid agreed, smiling somewhat sadly. He hadn't been able to make her happy, not for long anyway. Hopefully if she found someone new he would be able to be supportive. Of course he'd prefer she chose him but either way he would try to make sure she was happy again.

"Why is it that Livvy seems to have a good relationship with everyone but me?" he asked, half jokingly. It was true though. Every person he'd spoken too had a good relationship with Livvy besides himself. Granted he had pulled his wand on her when they first met but that had been an honest misunderstanding on his part.

"It is. Ask Rachel and I'm pretty sure she'll tell you the same. If you ever get the chance you should learn." Everyone should be able to ride, in his opinion anyway. It was so relaxing a hobby and if you were good at it it could get you far in life.

"I did and it's ok. It was a long time ago so I've gotten used to it really." Uh oh. Should he say or shouldn't he. Maybe he could be vague about it. "Just family issues. I'm not sure if I should say or not." Reid eventually said, not wanting to betray whatever trust Rachel may have left in him by spilling her secrets.

And maybe she deserved happiness too. She just smiled. She laughed at Reid's joke about Livvy, "She's a nice person. She cracks joke and all and she's one of my greatest buddies here at Hogwarts although we don't see each other often." Livvy really is...

"I will probably try and learn how to ride a horse," she nodded. She just didn't want to do such things. "I'm just lazy.."

"Oh it's totally fine. You can just forget i asked for it," Via said. "I'm totally used with stuffs like those." Half the time she gets answers such as those. It was only Daisy who shares secrets to her because she's her best friend. Daisy who had been telling her stories about the thing that had happened at Hogwarts last term.

"By the way, how's Hogwarts for you this term?" she inquired. Upon her knowledge nothing had happened wrong yet and she's not wishing for something to happen again

There was no time to stop and stamp her foot in frustration, Celandine continued sprinting down the stairs at an ankle breaking speed, whirled when she got to a landing and jumped off the edge where it didn't quite meet up, tossing her book bag first and transfiguring it into a giant, bouncy cushion. Falling almost two stories, she made a rough landing on it and bounced bodily up into the air again before landing on her feet a few metres away, a couple flights down from where she started.

Cela took off again, not even looking up at Garret as she yelled back.

"HAHAAAA!"

She levitated her book bag behind her, restoring it to its former book bag glory as she hurtled down the stairs, glad she wasn't wearing heels today.

"CHEAT!" He yelled after her as he continued to run recklessly down the moving staircase, nearly knocking down a first year with a camera before he leaped the two feet and three steps onto the next floor's landing. If she was going to play dirty and use old tricks, then he certainly wasn't opposed to some tricks himself...

"Your knickers are showing, Twiggy!" He shouted as he pushed off the next corner and jumped onto the next staircase.

"NYAH!!!!" Celandine did not care if her knickers were showing. They were nice knickers. She wriggled her butt at him before jumping on a bannister and sliding the rest of the way down, her feet hitting the ground with a click as she reached the foyer at the bottom.

She jumped around and even did a cartwheel, and she'd have done a whole lot more if Garret wasn't catching up to her. His legs were LONGER than hers, so she had to use tricks! She crossed the threshold and, for old times sake, paused for that little bit longer to glisseo the soles of her shoes and then she was OFF again.

Abby makes her way up the stairs. She still not sure where she wants to go. Abby just knows she couldn't go back to the common room with Jake. I need to talk to Ray. He would know what I should do. I can't believe they attacked Professor Lawson. Why would they want to hurt him? He looked so pale lying there on the floor, so cold. Stop thinking like that! Lawson is going to be okay. He's not going to die, but what if he does? It's my fault. I should have never told him about Jake and the stones. Curse those blasted stones! I wish I had never heard of them. Abby goes past the second and third floors. She gets off at the fourth floor.

Satine hurried in to the next corrider, glancing over her shoulder to make sure no one was looking and then used a strong sticking charm to hang the signs....deep inside she was dying with each move but the person that had invaded her thoughts had taken over.

Alex had been walking down the staircase from the fourth floor to the third floor, when ACK the staircase started to move! She hung onto the banister as the staircase moved and then attached itself to another floor.

"Whew.." Alex sat down with a sigh of relief on the stairs. She hadn't been expecting that.

Torin was one his was down so that he could stand outside the Slytherin Common Room door and try to get her to come out. He had heard that she had been one of the people that found Helios but wasn't sure who the other had been. At an case he needed to talk to her.

But the staircase wasn't there. He stood there, sighing waiting for it to come. And there it was.

And then he saw that Alex was there. Great. He needed to talk to her anyway.

Alex blinked a little as she looked up and saw Torin standing and waiting for the staircase to get to where he was. She sighed a little, and stood up. She took a deep breath and attempted to smile.

"Hello Torin." She said softly, Breathe Alex, just breathe. Everything will be alright.. If only she could tell that to her aching heart.

"Hey, Alex," he said with a smile as he walked down the stairs towards you. "I was actually meaning to talk to you about something."

Hopefully she wouldn't be too busy during the summer to attend the party that they were throwing.

"Hello." Alex said softly as Torin joined her on the stairs. "Talk to me about something? What about?" She asked as she tried to calm her pounding heart. Was he here to tell her he returned her feelings? A spark of hope lit in her still dull gray eyes.

"How have you been?" She asked

He nodded at her. "I was wondering if you are busy this summer? If you are that's okay." He didn't want to ask her if she could make it until he knew if she was busy or not.

"I've been good. Just stressing over the OWLs. And it's my sister's birthday today, so I'm going to write her later. How have you been?"

Alex blinked a little as Torin spoke, "Busy this summer? Umm, I am not sure yet. We always take a.. family trip. But other than that, Josh hasn't informed me of anything special. So, most likely not. Why?" Alex asked him as she arched an eyebrow at him.

"Ahh yes, I have to take those next year." She sighed a bit, "Aww you will have to tell me if she likes her presents." She said nodding, before pausing a bit. "I.. have been.. Okay?" she said in a slightly questioning tone. She was certainly looking better, She was still deathly pale, but her skin no longer held the sickly waxy look, and she had gained a little bit of her weight back, the dark shadows were still under her eyes however, and her eyes till looked dead.

Okay, that was good. "I was wondering if you wanted to come to a party. Tammy got a new apartment and me and Shana are moving there so we're throwing a party for it. And well.. wanna come? We're not sure when exactly we will have it, but I can write to you when I know." It all depended on how long it would take them all in Greece. He wasn't sure how long they would be away for.

"I will. I should know in a few weeks when I get my birthday gifts from home." He smiled when she said she had been fine. That was good. She looked better now and he was happy about that. He was so worried about her. "Yeah, I'm so tired from studying. I'm starting to want Term over with so I don't have to deal with it anymore."

Alex blinked a little. A party? "Sure! That sounds pretty good actually. I would love to come. Yeah, just write me and let me know. That sounds good." She said softly, as she pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear. This wouldn't be awkward right? She was getting over him right? Right??? Well she could at least tell herself that.

"I can imagine, Owls sound really difficult, but I am sure you will well." She nodded and smiled. "I want to go home as well, just to hang out with my brothers and sister." Not to mention they had been super worried about her, and had been sending her owls everyday to make sure she was surviving. She hoped her presence would make them calm down a bit.
