Arianna laughed and winked at him. Making that boy think he was a girl was a perfectly good idea.

"Oh me... there is nothing interesting about me" she said, pouting a little " I mean, I've made a few friends but nothing that big, last night I met the Bloody Baron, he is a scary character..." and she felt a shiver down her spine " ... other than that there is really nothing new... and you? How is everything, apart form the furry matter?" she joked nudging him on the shoulder. She was really trying to think of something funny and new to tell him, but there was nothing.

"Ewww....the Bloody Baron, I bet that was a little creepy," Rafe said making a disgusted face. "I've only seen Peeves and that was at the Great Hall...hmm...I wonder if Nick will pop up somewhere?" Rafe pondered. "Well, making new friends is always cool...guy friends or girl friends?" Rafe asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well..." Rafe said rather cocky as he gave Arianna a nudge. "You are looking at the new Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team!" Rafe sat up rather straight and folded his arms.

"Guy friends, girl friends, I'm not picky, really..." she said, ignoring his raised eyebrow, she made no distinction between boys and girls " I have this cool guy on my house, Kevin his a third year, and he's being really nice, last night the Baron almost ripped his head off only with a gaze " and she chuckled.

"Keeper hãn? Congratulations big boy" she said patting him on the head, like people to do dogs " I thought about applying as well but I was too afraid of being a complete .. failure" and she frowned a little, but quickly recovered " well maybe we should go now, or people will think we're up to something..or worse... kissing" and she made a disgusted face.

"Well we definitely wouldn't want to give people that idea," Rafe said with a smile. "I got to keep my options open, being a soon-to-be Quidditch star. I'm going to have to beat off all the ladies with a stick!" Rafe stood up and then extended his hand to help Arianna up.

"What do you have planned for the day?"

The wrinkle between Arianna's eyes deepened as she frowned at him.

"I had nothing planned, probably just hang around the castle somewhere, reading this new book my mum sent me.." she explained, taking a very old looking book from her robes " well, it's not new new, its new to me!" and she showed him the cover 1001 powders " I made this very cool powder last night, that changes the colour of fire.. preeeetty awesome!"

"That's pretty sweet, I swear we could go into business together with the things we come up with! It would make the Weasley shop and Zonko's look like a thing of the past!" Rafe exclaimed. "We could always cause a bit of mischief if you're up for it?"

" I don't know... I don't have much on me, and people around here seem to ignore mischief, last night I entered the common room with some fireballs, juggling them in the air, and can you believe NO ONE paid attention?" she pouted, again, and blew a few strings of hair from her face.

" Oh never mind, lets do it!" she said rubbing her hands.

"Well you sometimes have to just command their opinion!" Rafe said remembering on how he had got a little audience in the common room with his little act. Rafe smiled at the thought.

"I can think of the perfect target," Rafe said rather evilly. He had the perfect person in mind but he would have to try and track him down.

"I tried, but what else could I do? Lay a hat on the floor for tips?" she commented sarcastically, laughing. "Who?" she asked innocently getting ready to step out of the mirror.

Theo was musing. Well musing wasn't the word he would use, but it was what he was doing. He shuffled his feet on the dusty floor. He was thinking about Fia. He hadn't seen her in a few days. She was probably with Miles. He didn't like that she spent so much time with him, but he couldn't do anything about it. He was her best friend. And Theo was only a little boy.

He found himself randomly on the fourth floor. Maybe he had been heading towards the Tower. He needed his telescope and stars. He didn't have his quidditch anymore. Oh well. It wasn't a loss. He saw two people standing by a mirror. There was a girl, he had seen around the common room. But the other person had their back to Theo. Looked like a boy though. He smiled and waved at the girl, "Hello."

Arianna had already stepped outside the mirror and was still laughing at Rafe that was expecting her on the outside, facing her. She saw a boy approaching, an older boy, she knew him from the common room but she didn't know his name, she had never talked to him.

As he waved and said hello to her, she felt a little taken back. Was he really saying hi to her? Maybe there was someone behind her, and she stupidly looked to the side and back. Nope, no one there. " Hi..." she spit out, confused smiling at him as well.

WOAAH, an older boy was saying hello to her. She felt something she couldn't identify, but it felt good. She wished she had her contacts on, and maybe combed her hair with more patience in the morning so it wouldn't be all over the place.

"Speak of the devil!" Rafe said as they were out from the mirror at this point. "If it's not Theodore Newington, looking rather pathetic as usual!" Rafe smiled as he pulled out his wand. "There's no one else around, so this will definitely be fun!" Rafe nudged Arianna. "Little Italy this is Domnule patetică (Mister Pathetic), the imbecile I was telling you about!" Rafe was trying to think of the perfect spell to use. They had recently learned how to turn things to stone, that would be fun! Rafe stepped in front of Arianna, kind of like a shield from Theo, or perhaps the spells that could go flying at any moment.

He smiled at her. She had responded to him. "I'm Theo," he offered his hand to her. "I have seen you around the common room. Are you enjoying your first year?" He knew she was new to the school. Which Theo knew was hard.

"I'm not pathetic," he frowned, "Pathetic is the definition of a bully. Like yourself. There might not be anyone else around. But I am watched at all times. Kazimeriz would be on you like dragon pox." He smirked at Rafe. "And you don't want him to put you in detention. I hear he is a wolf-hater."

Rafe hoped he choaked. "And I really doubt he's a wolf-hater because if what you say is true, then I'm sure he wouldn't want to be within inches of yourself! Why don't we take a look at those ears, or perhaps your lovely tail to match!?" Rafe laughed hysterically.

Theo's mouth was suddenly filled with soap. He coughed and spluttered, trying to remove the soap from his mouth. The foam flooded out of his mouth. He coughed again. His mouth tasted of foul soap. He was going to be sick. The foul taste made his tummy feel weird. He continued to cough it out. He was bent over double. The foam still flooding out. He curled up in a ball to stop the tummy pain.

Theo was suddenly scooped up into Rafe's arms. Weird. He coughed and spluttered onto his robes. At least they would be clean now. The white foam collected in a pile, as he slowly turned blue.

Arianna saw it all happening before her eyes and she just couldn't believe it. As she saw things, Rafe attacked that nice boy for no reason! And he was spitting foam and looked like he was having trouble breathing, she would have tried to do something if she only knew what, but then Rafe took him to professor Kaz and all she could do was follow them " Wait up, I'll go too" she said running along.

Aye, what a term so far. Broccoli wandered down the hallway with his hands in his pocket and his rubber chicken, Henry VIII, hanging out of his back pocket. His hair was still missing and the patches that had grown back were getting long and therefore noticeable. He needed to get a haircut and he needed to do it soon.

He passed by the big mirror hanging on the wall and paused. "Ugh...When is this going to grow back?" He asked running a hand over his basically bald head.

Tino had been on his way somewhere important. He couldn't exactly recall. He'd just been hurrying down the hall when a snail slime trail caught his eye, that he had to stop and follow, and say 'Guten tag' to the snail at the end. And then he saw a really pretty cloud in the sky through the window and had to decide whether it looked more like a three-headed hippo or a toaster on rollerskates. That was twenty minutes ago. Where was he now?

Oh! Lookit that! A big mirror. Oh look! There's me. And. . . somebody else. And a rubber chicken. Tino tipped his head sideways to get a better look at the chicken. "Hello," he waved at the chicken. Then he straightened up. "Hello," he repeated, to the boy. His eyebrows furrowed in puzzlement. "Your head looks like a patchwork quilt," Tino observed. It wasn't a criticism. It was just fact.

"Yeah, I need a haircut," Broccoli replied shoving his hands into his pants pockets. He sighed and then glanced over at the boy next to him, through the mirror reflection. "You look like confused deer caught in someone's headlights," What with the furrowed brow, the big hair and the large Greek eyes, the only thing closer to the description would have been a fish, but a deer sounded better then a fish.

"Thank you," Tino replied promptly. He liked deer. He wished they would get run over less often. And as for being confused, Tino knew he was confused, he would just forget sometimes, but he wasn't about to argue if someone pointed it out.

He thought for a moment how to return the compliment. "You look like a monkey that ran into a weedwhacker," he nodded. Well, it was true. "What happened to your head? Did you go get a haircut from an unlicensed stylist?" This, Tino figured, was the worst- albeit, most logical- scenario possible.

"No," he said slowly, trying to decide if he should explain himself to a total stranger and how to take being called a weed-whacked monkey. He figured it wasn't meant to be an insult since the boy wasn't smiling and or laughing.. Ah, what the heck? What's the worst it could do? "I tried to cure my really bad case of dandruff and wound up having all my hair fell out." He ran a hand over his mostly bald head and then shrugged.
