And suddenly he was getting another snowball thrown at him. "I'm sorry," he called out as he ducked out of the way just in time. The snowball whizzed right by his head. That girl had pretty good aim.

And now Nate was making another one. This was turning into gang up on Torin day suddenly. "It was an accident. I meant to hit Jack and Reese."

Rafe was walking down the street holding his disposable camera, looking for picture to take...Ooh, an upset couple!, Rafe thought excitedly as he took a picture with a FLASH!, but quickly walking away not wanting to get involved any further in the scene. He couldn't help, but laugh as he walked silently by.

He was sorry. Okay. That was cool but he was going to pay for hitting Mariel in the face. Nathaniel knew who Jack was but he had no idea who Reese was. Probably one of Torin's lady franns. He had lots of those.. or so it seemed. Nathaniel wasn't mad.. per say. Nothing like a little fun in the snow. He looked a Mariel "I'll be right back." he said in a low tone and he took off running and tackled Torin to the ground.

Mariel turned from the boy just as she saw in disappointment that her snowball missed as she heard Nathaniel yell to him. Torin? Her left eyebrow arched in surprise as she gave him a quizzical look. "Wait, you know him?" What was up with that? Why would some friend of Nathaniel's throw snow at her. That brought her back to her earlier thinking of males and their having no reason for doing strange, unexplainable things.

But apparently it was an accident anyway as he yelled his apology. Frowning somewhat as the whole situation - coldness and getting hit - annoyed her, she gave the Torin person a quick nod in response to his apology, turning back once again to Nathaniel.

As she did, a flash of light caught her eye. Did that boy just take her picture?! Oh no he didn't! Now the 15 year old was annoyed even further at the thought of her humiliation and discomfort being immortalized by some little boy. "Hey...!" she yelled at him, not sure of what words to use right then. Instead, she picked up another handful of snow, molded it into a ball and threw it at the back of the boys head. That should teach him to take her picture without permission.

Now scowling, though it was hidden behind her scarf, Mariel turned back to Nathaniel, ready to leave now that she felt she had settled everything. Huh? "Where are you going?" she asked as he started off towards Torin. "Nathaniel!" she yelled as he then tackled the boy to the ground. What on Earth was he doing?!

As was the last thing he expected, he was suddenly hurled to the ground as Nate tackled him. Geeze, where did that come from? "Would you mind getting off of me?" He started to push Nate off of him.

Then he saw the flash of a camera going off. What the hell?

Apparently it was a First Year as he couldn't see any other reason for the girl to suddenly hurl a snowball at a boy that was standing in the area.

He made a mental note not to mess with her; she seemed really crabby.

And why was that kid from his Muggle Studies class taking their picture. He knew it was for class but this was not the TIME! No sir! Mariel had taken care of it. Nathaniel had gotten up and extended his hand to Torin and helped him up.

Nathaniel looked at Mariel as she was trying to not die due to the cold. He mad his way back to her"Yes, I know him." he told the Ravenclaw. Nate had after all asked Torin's advise on some things. "Mariel.. this is Torin. You can thank him for the idea of the scented ink you got.." he said smiling. The older boy and pestered him to tell Mariel how he had felt about her. "Do you want to go inside NOW?" he asked teasingly.

Jack whirled around when he heard a familiar voice and, sure enough, there was Rafe, holding a...camera? Wha--OOOOOH THAT'S RIGHT! They had an assignment! Jack even had his camera on hand with him--he had just been too distracted by snow to notice this opportune moment. He took it out and took a picture just as Rafe whipped the snowball at the girl who had thrown a snowball at him. WOOOO EPIC ACTION SHOT!

"YAY! Got it!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down and then...

KERSPLAT!

He slipped on a patch of ice, falling right on his bum as his legs flew out from underneath him. It was a miracle that he managed to hold on to the camera, actually. He landed with a loud thud and sat up slowly. "Owwwwwwwwwwww!" he moaned.

He had forgotten how EVIL ice was.

He rolled his eyes at Nate and let him help him up. There was nothing that he needed to say about this since it was an accident and all. And wasn't it obvious why he was throwing a snowball at Reese and Jack? He would have thought that it was. "We were having a snowball fight."

He nodded and then suddenly found himself being introduced to the annoyed girl. Fun.

And her name was Mariel? Suddenly things made more sense. Like why Nate seemed annoyed that he had hit her. "Hey," he told her with an awkward wave. "So this is your girlfriend then." Well, duh...

He let the moment pass in awkwardness when he suddenly saw Jack fall over out of the corner of his eye. Awesome! A distraction and a photo opportunity in one.

He quickly took out his camera, lined up a good shot and took the picture. "That was just awesome, Jack. You need to do something stupid again."

Rafe saw a FLASH, someone else was doing their assignment too. After a few blinks he could finally see clearly. He saw his Captain jumping up and down in celebration. And then...

SPLAT! He was on the ground and Rafe bursted into laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Rafe was holding his side, it was the funniest thing he had ever see. He slowly made his way over to Jack, though it was very difficult, he almost ended up on the ground himself, but not from falling, but to roll on the ground laughing. Rafe stuck out his hand, "Need some...HAHAHA....Help? HAHAHA!"

K came down from the lake and saw all the buldings and then without thinking K from the top of the street took a picture of everything that was in front of her. It was great because she got almost all the shops and people that were on the streets here. She was so happy Three pictures done two left.

Nathaniel looked at Torin "Well mayybe the street isn't the best place to have a snowball fight.." DUH. How about a less populated area. That'd make more sense.

"Of course she's my girlfriend. Why else would I be mad that she got hit in the face?" How daft was Torin? He knew that Nate didn't have many friends. Did he think that he'd just picked up some random girl?

He'd seen the other kid slip and fall. Tough luck. At least it wasn't Nathaniel looking like a fool though. He needed to take pictures for his homework but he'd wait til he could get one of him and Mariel.

Reese loosed her grip on the doll letting it fall back to the snow covered ground. "You're right," she told Jack. "He IS a stupid little kid." Rolling her eyes, she pushed the bag over to the side of the outside wall of Hogseamde with her foot. "I'll get that later," she said as she looked back at her boyfriend. Not that she really WANTED to bring her broken bag back to Hogwarts, but she couldn't just leave it here.

"Anywaysss," she spoke up, but before she could say more, she noticed a BIG snowball fly right by her and Jack. She atched in horror as the snowball hit this girl that wasn't standing too far away from them. Wooow. She was glad that thing didn't hit her, because it looked like it would hurt if it hit someone in the head. I mean, IT WAS HUGEE. "Who threw that?" She asked without even thinking about what she was saying. Of course she knew who threw it - who else would try to hit her and Jack?

"You, sir...." She addressed Torin as she turned to face him. Just as that came out of her mouth, Torin admitted that he WAS trying to hit them. She couldn't say anything, because by the time she opened her mouth, there was a bright flash coming out of no where. What the heck?! Turning around, her brown eyes landed on this dude that was walking away with a camera on him. It took her a few minutes to realize that that camera had been the same camera Dumont had given them. That boy must be doing homework.

Reese watched the boy for a few more minutes before turning back to Torin, who had been tackled to the ground by the boy she didn't know. HAHAHA. She let out a few giggles as she watched the scene in front of her. This was TOO funny. Then, that's when she saw, yet, another flash. Dudeee, did someone take a picture of Torin getting tackled by a younger boy? Ohmygosh. That would be sooo funny if they did.

She turned around the face... "Jaccck," she squeaked when she witnessed him fall right to the ground. "Are are you okay?" When she heard Torin's sarcastic remark, she looked at the Hufflepuff and shook her head before looking back at her boyfriend. That fall must have hurt.

Tavelon walked down the busy streets of Hogsmede, standing amidst the crowds he stood and took it all in. So this was it. Hogsmede. Now where to go?

Tavelon's thought was interrupted as he stepped in a puddle.

"Well.. I stuck up for him" Peyton smiled and looked down at the floor. So Alice had a boyfriend. Seemed like everyone did 'cept her. A longing sigh escaped her as she walked with Alice "Well.. someone has to" she smiled before pulling out some sweets "Want one?" she offered before popping one into her mouth and watching Alice.

What? what she meant by stuck up? Alice's brows raised in surprise. Was it a hint or something? Crush..crush..crush. Lmao. Right. "I've no idea what you're trying to say..honestly" she said, flipped a lock of hair to her back. Still she needed Fyo to tie up this hair into a tight ponytail. Man I miss this guy. Alice let out a mild sigh and watching Peyton's face reactions. "Mmm..sure thing. I cant say No to sweets and chocolates, ever" he giggled and took Peyton's hand in hers, slightly swining them.

Peyton smiled and then shook her head "I... met Shana in a shop and we were buying stuff together... and then Torin came in and Shana started shouting at him.. I didn't think it was fair and I tried to calm Shana down" she explained. When Alice agreed to the sweets, Peyton smiled and suddenly felt someone holding her hand and swinging it. She blinked a little and looked up at Alice. This had happened before "Lemme guess, you haven't seen Fyo in ages and you're missing him" she looked down at their hands again and shook her head. Why did people always choose her to use as the person to get comfort or advice from? Alice seemed different though, she didn't seem like all the other people who'd used her when they'd needed someone and then totally ignored her when they were back to themselves. "You wanna talk about it?"

Alice listened her curiously. She had met Shana too in Diagon Alley. She had to agree with Peyton that she seemed bit hyper. "I know Shana. She left me without a word at the pet shop" she shrugged and surprised as Peytong suddenly talking about Fyo. Did she read my mind?

She gently pulled back her hand from Peyton's. "I'm sorry..I didnt know what I was doing.." she tucked her hands inside her robes pocket. There..the right place for you my hands. So please..obliging..she nodded her head, "I do. I think he's busy with hw and stuffs" she titled her head to brush his cheek on her shoulder, sighed.

"Mmm. She was very rude." she admitted "I can't imagine why she'd be angry with Torin over Brody" Liesssss. Peyton was annoyed, too. Torin shouldn't have been with that big headed, pathetic girl. Okay. Maybe that was harsh, but he deserved more.

Smiling warmly at Alice, Peyton shook her head "No problem..." she then watched her "But you don't really think that, do you?" she asked "He would've made time for you.." she looked into Alice's eyes "And you know that, don't you?" she shook her head and sighed "I suppose that's the worst part about guys.. we never know what they're thinking" she shrugged before looking down the street and watching the people walking around happily.

"Mhmm" Alice said softly, not really wanting to get into that talks since she didnt know what was happened actually and what was going on around him. He was her friend, her boyfriend's best friend. That was all. "Leave it. Everyone is different" she paused and tossed the chocolate into her mouth.

The street seemed busy. Last time she was with Fyo. This time with her new friend, such a change. "Mmm..No. I know him, he wouldn't do this on purpose. He might be really busy." she said, felt her cheeks growing red and warm at his talks. "Come on, let's go to Honeydukes first" she shifted on her other leg, getting impatient.

Peyton looked round at Alice as she spoke softly and then smiled "Yeah, you're right" she agreed before looking down at the floor and letting Alice think about what she'd said. "I guess he's really a different type of guy then" Peyton smiled. Honeydukes. Yeah. "Alright" she started to make her way towards Honeydukes with Alice, not saying another word in case it was something that made her uncomfortable.

She agreed with her. Alice smiled. She felt easy to talk with Peyton. She was not random like other girls. Alice's eyes looked at her, nodded to her assumption. "Yes. He is so sweet, smart and studious" she grinned, "This ring is his birthday gift to me" she pulled out her hand from the pocket to show that butterfly ring.

"He always calls me his Butterfly" she giggled and blushed as stepping inside the candy shop.

Huh? That first comment made no sense. "First of all I didn't start it. And secondly, where else would we go to have the fight down here now that it started?" Was Nate that much of a killjoy that he wouldn't participate in a fight if people threw snowballs at him?

And he didn't like the way he replied to that comment. "She could have been your friend, dude. You do have a few friends and all. And if someone hit one of my friends out of nowhere I'd be upset." He shrugged. It wasn't like there was some secret code that said you only got mad when it was your girlfriend.

Then he saw Reese shaking her head at him. "I'm sorry, but it was funny. And also is now one of my pictures for Muggle Studies." He patted his camera fondly and winked at her.

Hogsmeade was finally opened once again. She'd agreed to meet Theo here and told him she would wait off to the side. She sat down on a simple park bench wearing a pair of jeans, long sleeve t shirt, tennis shoes, a nice warm jacket, hat, scarf and gloves. She was nice and toasty warm as she waited for Theo to arrive.

Theo was carrying his tin of cookies. They were a present for Fia. Instead of flowers, he brought cookies. He thought Fia might like them better. He beamed as he saw her sitting on a bench. She looked all wrapped up. Nice and warm. He pulled his hat down with his free hand.

He had tucked his tail down on of his jeans leg. The jeans were a big baggy, so his tail was very well hidden.
