Nate didn't want to start anything else so he turned around and went into the Three Broomsticks. That chick was crazy.

"COWARD!" She called at him. Too scared to face up to what he really thought, to do anything about it.

Nate rolled his eyes at the immature girl. She obviously couldn't handle that he was already going out with someone. "Yeah, and your not jealous." he said under his breath.

Kylie heard what he said, and laughed. She honestly laughed. Not hatefully, not with a sarcastic edge, but real laughter. It was then that she realized, she didn't want him anymore than he wanted her. This stumped her. And instead of doing anything, instead of saying something. She just.. well, she fell down. Almost as if the realization was too much for her to bear. She sat up, head spinning.
What was happening to her?

Kay stayed by Kylie and when she fall Kay wasn't going to stand for it. "Hey That about enough out of You!" Kay yelled at Nate. "I won't stand here and you talk that way!" Kay stood up and put her hand on her wand. "Who do you think you are! You went behind Kylie's back and you stand there....being...S stupid git!" Kay yelled. She wanted him to say something and Kay would so teach him a lesson he wouldn't forget. Kay knelt back down next to Kylie and wish she could do something. "Kylie lets just go. He's not important enough to be sad about." Kay said smiling wickedly at Nate. Hufflepuff or not this was not over.

"I'm not sad." Kylie said shaking, she wasn't. She was angry. So angry she couldn't stay on her feet. Her pulse was so fast she could hardly think. She tried to stand up on her jelly legs, using Kay as a crutch. As soon as the anger passed she'd be able to walk and think better. But until then, she was going to need a bit of assistance.

Kay helped Kylie stand and made sure she was going to stay up right. Kay was so mad that she just wanted to hex Nate. "Are you sure. We can go sit down for a while?" Kay asked Kylie holding on to her arm.

Carter came out of a nearby store to see Kylie leaning against someone. "Whoa. Kylie. Are you alright? What happened?" he said running out to her.

"No.. No.. I'm fine." Kylie said, "Just a bit light-headed." She chuckled darkly, "I didn't know being angry could make you so angry..." A thought occurred to her, what color are my eyes?
She looked up at Kay nervously. She knew it sounded weird, but when her eyes were that ice blue, good things hardly ever happened. Ice blue meant she'd felt a powerful emotion or was currently feeling one. Ice blue, clear, bright, gem-like. Or green. Still gem-like, still clear. But bright green. "Kay, I need you to tell me what color my eyes are."


Kylie was glad when Carter came up. "Well, Nate's a git. We got in a fight. I got angry, so angry my stupid weak body couldn't handle it. I'm all right, just a bit dizzy." Kylie was kind of angry with herself, she didn't know anger could actually make her do that, but apparently it had.

Kay looked up when she heard Carter. "Carter, Please come help me with Kylie." Kay said looking unsure of what else to do.

Kay thought the question was weird but when she saw Kylie eyes she stepped back a little. "Kylie your eyes are almost ice blue. but your eyes are green right?" Kay said still holding on to her arm.

Kylie groaned. Of course they were blue now. "Usually they're green, yeah. They turn blue occasionally, generally with an intense.. negative emotion. They've never been blue other than that, but I'm young. Things can happen." She started feeling the intense heat subside, slowly, but it was going away.

Carter's eyes blazed for a few seconds. It was a good thing Nate was always with someone when he saw him. "Here. Let me help." he said helping to balance Kylie. "Are you sure you're alright?"

Kylie swung herself around both Kay and Carter. "Yeah. I'm fine, promise." She said, "Can we just go.. do something? I need to take my mind off things or I won't get back to normal." She was speaking quietly, with more breath than actual tone.

Even though Kylie still had a lot of her weight on Kay and Carter, she really wanted to walk by herself. "You guys, I'm okay." She said, hoping if they let go she wouldn't fall or something.

"Did he do anything to you?" Carter asked unsure of whether or not he should let go of her. "Maybe we should get you checked out..."

"Are you sure?" Kay asked letting her go. She stayed close to Kylie just in case. "Maybe being check out wouldn't be a good idea." kay knew that the Professor would learn how powerful Kylie was and that might not be good. "But If you want to." kay said looking Kylie in the eyes to see if they were changing back.

Kylie felt her strength coming back to her and stood up on her own. She was still a bit dizzy and whatnot, but it wasn't unmanageable. "Yeah. I'm fine, I don't think I'll need to be checked out this time." Tagging a bit of a joke on the end, hoping Carter and Kay would get it. "Some tea sounds fabulous."

OCC: I really am gonna make tea now =], and I'm also gonna be in and out.. I DO have homework I still need to get done. :/ I'll be checking back in every couple questions, though. P.S. Cont. in Puddifoots?

Kay smiled and sighed "Tea it is." Kay said moving toward the tea shop.

Rafe stepped out of the Three Broomsticks, he waited for Marilyn. He didn't know if she would actually come outside or not. She had every right not to. She was with Carter now, he had no right to interfere. He couldn't help his feelings. Why didn't he realize them sooner?

He was surrounded by girls from the moment he stepped through the doors of Hogwarts. He made friends, lost a few, only to hope to make amends. But, it was something about Marilyn from the moment he met her at Diagon Alley. She wasn't like the other girls. Yes, she sometimes had a bit of an attitude, but that just added to her character. He liked a girl that had to rely on a guy, she was very independent. He was there when he was down and always could bring him up. Marilyn made him happy, but now her presence was tormenting. He only hoped they could somehow talk their way through it.

She stepped out into the crisp air and sighed. Her eyes immediately sought out Rafe. He was standing off to the side, clearly waging some mental battle within himself. She'd done this. Marilyn should have never told him that she'd liked him. Maybe he wouldn't look so tortured if this morning would have never happened...but Gods!! It was all she could think about...and if it weren't for Carter, she'd be begging for a repeat.

She approached him slowly. "Rafe?"

Rafe looked around. There were too many people. "Not here," he whispered, as he grabbed her wrist and went to the back alley.

Reese just wanted to get away. Away from having to think about exams. Away from annoying and talkative people in the common room that won't BE QUIET. She just wanted to be away from all the stress that somehow overcame her while she was in the castle. But, once she made it away from Hogwarts and down to Hogsmeade, she felt a little bit more relaxed.

The brunette, who had been walking down the streets for a few minutes, finally settled down in one of the benches along the road. She sat her large purse down on the bench beside her and then she straightened some of the wrinkles out of her shirt. Once she got most of the wrinkles out, she opened her purse up and pulled out a unfinished letter, which she sat down on her lap to where the 'Dear Ryan' part was visible. Then, the Slytherin began to search her bag for a pen.
