and he shed a tear then wiped it away so
nobody could see..
"Great" Kyle said..
Nobody ever wants to know him...
"Im pathetic"He said...,But quietly so
No one could hear him.

"It works." Helios said, regarding the origami bird. "I can teach you sometime how to make phoenix parchment." There was a hint in his voice that warned not to question his skills. Pride, his sin of choice.

Carefully cutting his specially prepared chicken (a recipe he shared with the house elves), he could feel eyes on him. The prince of suns did not glance from his meal, sifting through his brain for the right words as he searched for the right cut of chicken. "I can help you help me. But I expect you to take this with the utmost seriousness. I will not suffer thespians. This is not roleplay, and we are not characters. What we do will have real consequences, so I am giving you this last chance to turn away."

With that, he pierced the piece of chicken with his fork, while his eyes pierced Eva.

She raised her eyebrow at his tone of voice. So, he was proud of himself and his skills. Nothing new there. She watched him, first amused and then serious, before her expression turned into a mix of those two.
"So, you make this all very mysterious speech and then you expect me to walk away. You're not listening to me, prince... I said I would find out what is happening here. That means I am." she apused, thinking about his words. "I can help you help me?" she asked, quoting him. "Why is me than I'm helping you and not the other way around?!"

She moved closer and stole a chip from his plate with a challenging look. She ate it in small bite,s enjoying it and increasing the suspense, like in a theathre play. She looked down and then back at up, fully aware he was looking at her with those piercing eyes.
"Walking away? Not in a million years..." That was her final answer.

She was starting to take him seriously. Good. "Because I am the one that has been getting caught between the teachers feuds, and I am the one that has been given the werewolf proof armor." Punctuating his words with a bite of chicken, he savored the exotic flavor.

Enjoying his meal, Helios couldn't help but smile as Eva dared to touch his food. "I like you. I am always to be taken seriously, but never to be taken too seriously." His facial expression softend, gentle clouds drifting through his eyes.

"It is quite delicious." He slid his plate closer to the girl.

There was nothing much else to say, and Lettie was caught completely off-guard, her expression surely showed it. "I'm sorry to hear that." She said as contained as she was able to. "I couldn't imagine losing my immediate family like that." 'It must be very hard.'
She made some sort of design in her pudding with her spoon. "Your aunt is nice though?"

"Oh, that's right! I've forgotten about the Quidditch cup. Sorry, but I'm not a die-hard fan of the sport, it's fun, but I could never see myself playing it." Leticia chuckled a little bit, "I'm not coordinated enough for it you see...I'm better suited for swimming and navigating a sailboat. It's a lot of fun actually, and my father and I enjoy it quite a bit during holidays."
She nodded her head in agreement of herself, then proceeded. "I'm somewhat close by I guess. My family lives near the center of Skye. It's a lovely place, not too many people, and most of our neighbors are muggles. I actually worked for one over the summer. It was a bit of a pain, but nothing too horrible...after I got used to it anyway."

She nodded again, "She seems like a very nice person, I'm sure the two of you would get along really well. She has a cat too, just like me, and the animal seemed friendly too."
Lettie couldn't help but smile a little bit, "That's good that you enjoy being in your house. Most of my family has been sorted either into Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, I guess someone had to be the exception...and it was me." She gave an awkward grin and continued. "Slytherin is good. I enjoy who is in my house, though I'm sure we all have our favorites whether or not we'd like to admit it. I was surprised when I was placed in there, but it is growing on me quite a bit now. Although, during the flood last term, I do prefer the Gryffindor common room...I guess I am just too fond of being nice and warm." She giggled a bit and actually could feel some warmth in her bloodstream now, just the way it would feel if she were laying on the beach in the warm sun.

"Your Uncle is an auror. I didn't know that. It must be exciting being in on everything that goes on at the Ministry. My dad never tells me a thing about his work. He always says his work is boring."

"I know, I've seen it all" Peyton admitted "I see a lot of things" she smiled "I'm guessing that you don't have an antidote?" Peyton shook her head and then smiled as Torin blurted out his thoughts "Mmm, a lot of people seem to think that. But no, I just get ignored a lot." her eyes moved to her plate as she thought of all the years she was ignored.

He smirked at her first comment then shook his head. "Nope, didn't make one. I didn't need one originally and then there was no point when I decided not to use it anyway." Now he would have to go to Kazi. That scared the crap out of him. That guy was scary and gave Torin bad vibes. What would he do to him over this thing?

"I don't get why anyone would ignore you." Maybe she just needed to get out a bit more.

"Umm... I could probably brew you one up" Peyton offered "I do a lot of potions since I'm on my own a lot." Why was she offering? She had no idea! "Oh.. well.. no one ever really notices me... So I just get ignored" Peyton shrugged a little. She'd accepted this two years ago.

Fia turned and narrowed her eyes to Miles. "Like I have to ask you for a piece of your chocolate.". For that remark, she took another one and ate it. "Thats for my hat.". She began to giggle but stopped short.

"Excuse me? There was nothing wrong with my punches. Next time I'll just use my wand then and turn you into a frog.". Like her words were mean, especially when she laughed afterwards. Poor Theo was probably lost. So she then turned to him and replied.

"So we have to set up a time to practice together, maybe even play around with the spells in DADA. I need to know as much as possible to get back at Miles.". She turned back to her beat friend and stuck out her tongue.

"See, we've been friends for so long that he is...well like family.". She couldn't say brother because he was not annoying. Not yet at least. "I have to bethere to make sure he's okay since he is like the class clown.". She wanted to explain their friendship so that one could understand just how close they were.

"Oh no I haven't met Sara" Carmela smiled " You see, I have also been looking forward to potion, but I'm just a bit scared that something will go wrong, but about flying, I'm acctually excited, I find myself really clumsy, and I'm a little but scared of hights, but I hope that will change. But I'm looking forward to chams, I think spells are so exciting." Said Carmela. Carmela was happy she had found some people she could talk to. And coulnd't wait to get started on her classes. Carmela was reached over to grab her goblet of water, and missed, and got her self wet. 'darn!' she thought, just what she needed.

"Ok" Tavelon said. He was sure that there was much to learn from him, but he couldn't help but think it a little funny. Tavelon was trying to be polite, though, so he suppressed his smile.

Abigail laughed she had told her brother that because they weren’t allowed to take brooms they wouldn’t be flying any in first year. He had been very amused with that asking her if she really thought Hogwarts didn’t have their own brooms, she hadn’t been happy.

“Hogwarts have brooms, but I think your only allowed to use them during lessens though.” Abigail hadn’t paid that much attention to her brother’s explanation, so she wasn’t sure. “You should ask the quidditch professor.”
“Oh, this is Carmela Sara.” Abigail pointed in Sara’s direction.

Whilst talking to Sara Abigail noticed another new first year out if the corner of her eye. When she turned to say hello she realised that he looked very sad and didn’t seem to be talking to anyone. She didn’t know if this was out of choice or not, didn’t he want someone to talk to or was it because no one had yet.

After debating with herself she decided to talk to him, if he wasn’t interested he could just say. Speaking softly she smiled at the boy “Hello, I’m Abigail. Are you ok?”

“And Carmela this is Sara.” She smiled happy to have introduced two of her new friends. She watched as Carmela spilt water everywhere and quickly leaned over to help her clean it up. “Well I’m not looking forward to flying but Sara defiantly is. I’m not sure how I’ll do at charms, but I’m still excited to get started.” She placed the wet napkin shed used to help clean up on her plate.

Abigail couldn’t believe it Dominic hadn’t seen her and now Arrick knew there had been a death in the school! This couldn’t be good. Then she looked at Arrick’s face and was shocked. He didn’t look scared! He looked curious! She then realised that shed forgotten Arrick was a boy, and only a boy would be curious at the gory details of how someone died.

And he heared someone was talking to him.
"Im kyle.
Kyle zander Er-..Blaise."
And he walked off..

"Caught in the teacher's feruds? You? I thought you had people to do your dirty work." it was no secret that she despised his social position and associated that to a huge ego, therefore, she couldn't help the irony when he spoke those words. She was teasing him on purpose, as well as chekcing his limits. She didn't know much about him, but counting the times he had shown up with company lead her to think he wasn't a very sociable person.
"What?!" she coughed as he continued. "Repeat that again. Werewold armor?" he ahd to belying.. There was no way it was true. No sane teacher would make a student in charge of those matter, no matter he was a Prince or the student that cleaned houses during the summer. Thoise things just didn't happen.

She stared at him as he told her he liked her. In wasn't the first time he made a compiment to her personality, but she couldn't help to be surprised. Tell me again how I got into this... , she thought to herself even though it was clear on her mind why she had gotten into that. About the 'how' question, she wasn't that sure.

She pushed the plate back to here it was before Helios moved it closer. Sure, his gesture was nice and she appreciated it veyr much, but she had to make her point. There was no way she was going to show him she was willing to believe on his sotry so soon, giving the fact she was still having problems on processing that.
If it had been one the girls offering to share the food she would have take it gladly and they would probably had a lot of fun, having a nice and relaxed conversation about anything that was going on. But her life wasn't like that on that moment.
"I don't take leftovers. When I want something, I work hard to get it." she paused. "THis... whatever this is, is only going to work if you don't act all surperior and bossy on me. I take of myself and I can perfectly do things on my own..." this was a fat big lie, but she was glad Helios didn't know her so well to understand it. Eva needed her friends be to be happy and do the things she wanted to accomplish - in that way, she was rather dependent. By she also needed her time alone to thinking and to make herself believe she could live just like her anti-social godmother. Which she couldn't. "... But I don't turn my backs on help. So, I don't advise you to do it." she stood up and leant down a bit to say a few words before leaving:
"See you around, prince." she whispered so that only he could hear. Then, she turned to the big door, her heels making a echo as they hit the floor, annoucing the girl's exit. Geez, these thing are killing me, she thought as she decided to go and her visit her chambers - in another words, she common room she had shared with the other house mates for the past six years.

I still need to talk to a prefect... Tammy is out of question. She would never take me seriously. Plus, I really like her and I miss her as my bff, but she doesn't have the maturity enough to handle this. Eva couldn't help to be sad about it.
Next option: Dominic. But Tammy would probably find out. pLus, I've seen him with Kayla before and I'm not sure he can take me seriously as well.
Evollete, the Slytherin Prefect? Sebastian talked good things about her, but she doesn't me. Not to mention she is a Slytherin.
There was another option and Eva knew it. She was prefect for several years, she was determinated, objective and she could put teh students well being on top of hers. Plus, she knew Eva.
Oh Merlin... Eva sighed as she walked through the door heading torwards the coomon room. She needed to think of a way to approach Rachel Rider. The enemy, Ravenclaw Prefect, Rachel Rider.

"Well it is my chocolate," he said with a grin before feigning shock as she took another one. "You punched me for your hat remember...or is your memory fading," he added with a smirk.

"A frog? Could be cool," he said with a thoughtful expression then leaned in and with a smirk said, "Ribbit." Laughing he popped another piece of chocolate in his mouth. "When is this thing going to be done with already..."

"Pfft...you do that. Not like I need any help with my spells anyway." He grinned at her before looking around and then laughed as she explained their relationship to Theo. "Like family...well considering you're at my house all the time I suppose that's right," he leaned over her and grinned at Theo, "We all know though she came over to get a good look at Ivan." Laughing he glanced at Fia and for any punches his way before stopping, "What do you mean you need to make sure I'm okay? Why wouldn't I be...not like any thing I do is...dan...gerous...." He trailed off and giggled. Considering everything he did was dangerous either for his physical health or the health of himself from retribution by unhappy people she had a point.

"Hey sara" Said Carmela holding out her hand to shake sara's "Flying can be a lot of fun, though, how hard would it be to balance on a broom? Ya, I think I'm really excited about using my wand in charms.." Said Carmela. Carmela also grabed a napkin and helped Abigail clean up carmla's clumsy mess. "Did you bring any pets to Hogwarts?" Carmela asked Sara and Abigail.

"Yeah," Kita said. She turned to Lucille and said, "Hey, you wanna sit with us?" Kita moved over a little so they had enough space between the 3 of them. "Wow! A new one every month! That's so cool!" Kita flicked through the rest of the magazine and then offered it to Kay to give to Lucille. Then Kita noticed something that made her feel very sad. The little boy who they had come to meet had shed a tear. If there was one thing that made Kita sad very quickly even on her perfect day, it was someone crying. Whether it's her friend or a stranger. She didn't like to see this little boy crying. "Hey," she sad to the boy, "what's wrong? Are you ok?" She noticed someone else speaking to him and introducing themselves. She picked up his name - Kyle. Nice name she thought. She turned back to Kay and Lucille. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Kyle leave. "Hey Kyle," she said, "where you going?" Kita felt bad. She hoped she hadn't didn't make him sad. She turned back to Kay and Lucille and picked up on their conversation...

"I can help you lots. I was taught by Professor Valon. He was very good. I had detention, and he made me do magic." He nodded, he was proud of that detention.

Theo wasn't sure what they were playing at. They were playing like brothers and sisters. Well like him a Nate do. Well Nate is only one, but Theo played with him well. Oh they were like family. Miles didn't like her. They were brother and sister. That was fine then. He didn't have to have the squiggly feeling in his tummy. He smiled and looked at Fia. She made him happy.

"You could be dangerous," he frowned at Miles. "Wands are dangerous anyway. You could poke someone in the eye." Theo nodded. He had had it happen with a stick. He had walked into a low hanging branch. Straight in the eye it went. Man it hurt. He presumed that a wand would have the same effect.

When reading muggle chick lit for lack of anything better to pour over, Reagan hadn't thought that maybe Hogwarts was cliqueish. And it wasn't really, but everyone else had established friendships, and she didn't know anyone... apart from meeting a nice Ravenclaw fifth year at Diagon Alley.

She smiled weakly at the group of people chatting around her, and went back to reading the book in her lap. It was interesting, but not as interesting as chatting with a friend. Why, oh why had she ever agreed to Hogwarts? It was so big and intimidating.

Cork was familar to her, Hogwarts was not.

Fia paused as her eyes slowly looked up to Miles as she ever so gently places the piece of chocolate to her mouth. Before he could grab the piece of candy she ate it with a grin on her face. "Mmmmmm," was the sound she made to show just how wonderful the chocolate was. And then...

"Ewwwwww" she wrinkled her nose to the dissatisfaction of cousin Ivan. "Soooo not my type! I like...Quidditch players who do t mind getting dirty.". She smiled to Miles and then turned to Theo. What was with boys this term? She couldn't understand the sudden interest.

She then quickly turned to Theo with a gasp. "Theo, you are very brave to be taught by Professor Kazimeriz. He scares me.". Okay so she was rather scared of the old man but clearly didn't know him very well at all.

She then turned back to Miles and shook her head. "You laugh about dangerous? See someone hasto always watch and make sure you are okay at all times."

"You have to get dirty in Quidditch or you aren't a very good quidditch player. If you get too dirty though, you also aren't a good quidditch player," Theo smiled. He got bugs on his goggles, and dusty when he hit the floor. But he was never rolling in mud.

He nodded, "Professor Kazimeriz is very scary. But if you are good and nice, he can be ok. And I am getting good at my spells, so he is ok to me."
