Kat tried to follow Carter's finger but really couldn't. "I can't it's making my head hurt" she said to Carter.

"it's ok" Kat said to Lucy while trying to keep her eyes moving left and right. " I've been better and I've been worse" she said with a slight laugh. " Sadly no they haven't " she sighed.

"That's good. Tell me if you feel uncomfortable at the least. I want to know. Okay?" Livvy said, smiling but firmly. Sighing to herself, she stood by Kay's bedside and leaned her arms against the table. How many days did she have left? She had actually quite enjoyed the experience. Even if Melita was hardly ever here. Maybe she should be a Healer after Hogwarts. Mmm. Would Nurse Avalon mind having her around? ... Where WAS Nurse Avalon?

Livvy's attention was brought back to Kay. "No problem. It's supposed to be very refreshing," she said, nodding her head. "Well... when you get better of course!"

Kay looked at the healer and sighed. "Well, I have class later and would really like to go." She said looking at the healer. "And one more thing, where's the loo?" Kay asked having to really go.

Class? Eesh. Was this kid crazy? Most students would take the opportunity and advantage of being sick just so they could skip class. Did the whole sickness thing go to the girl's head. Widening her eyes, Livvy just shrugged. "Well... if you really want to. But if you feel sick, light-headed, or anything... AT ALL... you better come straight back here. Okay?" she instructed, pointing her finger at Kay.

.. The loo?

Livvy couldn't help but smirk slightly. "Down the hall, kiddo," she said, chuckling as she squeezed the girl's shoulder.

"Oh, thank you healer Livvy!! I will. But I really do feel better. I'll be going back to my common room than. mmm After the loo." Kay smiled at her and was happy to be out.

Carter without saying a word hurried off to a cabinet where some bandages were held. He grabbed one of these cookies hoping they were good for head injuries too. Either the girl was super tired or had a concussion. He walked back and handed Kat a cookie. "Here, you should start feeling better after this." he said. He went off to one of the other corners and grabbed cookies that didn't have any potion in them and gave them to Rafe and Lucy. "And here's some for you guys too." he said. "When your done just lay down and relax." he instructed Kat. He then addressed Rafe and Lucy, "You guys can stay as long as things don't get too busy here. Make sure she stays laying down. She probably shouldn't fall asleep until she's able to follow someone's finger. So try to keep her up for awhile..." he said with his voice trailing off toward the end. He heard someone enter. "Sorry, it sounds like there are more students out there. So. Yeah. Just keep her company and make sure she lies down. I'll be around and I'll come check on you every few hours." he said repeating himself before heading out in to the waiting area.




Carter re-entered the Hospital Wing with two more students. "Yeah. Healer Melita prefers potions mixed in with cookies. Which, I agree, is much more preferable than scarfing down some disgusting potion. Go ahead and pick some beds. I'll get some ice and cookies for you." he said to them before heading off to shuffle through cabinets.

Nemean chose a bed, not seeing the point of Lexi having a bed of her own, it was only her hair. He settled himself onto the bed with difficulty. He'd never realised that his hand could feel that bad. It was continuing to swell and the bruising was coming up too. He looked at Lexi to see where she was going to go. He was angry with her, but he didn't want her to go far away from him. He wanted her to say sorry.

Lexi went and perched herself on the foot of Lorcan's bed seeing as she didn't really need one. SHe was concerned about his arm, but she wasn't ready to apologize until he did. It was ultimately his own fault that he was there anyway. "Wow, cookies, eh. Odd little Healer isn't she, Nemean." Lexi said grinning. SHe knew he was still amd at her but it was so cute when he acted all tough and she felt like egging him on just a bit longer.

Nemean snorted. "Huh, I suppose you think I should say thank you for jiggering my wrist 'cos I'm going to get a biscuit? Well, you'll have a long wait." He frowned at her, "She? Don't you mean he? Did I turn your brain pink too? He seems alright to me." He was determined to disagree with her until she said sorry.

"I was referring to Healer Melita, the one who made all of the cookies. THat's who he was talking about, Nemean. And you can be hateful to me all you'd like, it's not going to waiver my resolve. You owe me an apology first, then I'll be more than happy to apologize to you." she said very sweetly with a sickly sweet smile on her face. "But, yes I think they are all a little bonkers up here." she added as an aside.

Lorcan ignored what she had said about the healers. His eyebrows shot up behind his fringe with indignation. "Me appologise? ME? You're tapped! You said 'Loosen up Lorcan' " He imitated her in a squeaky voice. "So I thought changing the colour of your hair would be funny and you went off one one! So how do you work it out to be my fault? Eh?" He slipped his shoes off and swung his legs onto the bed, drawing up his knees defensively. "I can never do it right can I? I'm an idiot." He shot her an unfriendly look, baiting her to say that he was an idiot.

She sighed exasperatedly and said very softly and slowly, " I am not going to be pulled into a ridiculous argument with you, Lorcan. I never meant for you to fall and hurt yourself. The boils... well, yes I meant that. You didn't do anything wrong then. I did tell you to loosen up and I did get angry when you turned my hair like an easter egg. Who wouldn't?" she took a deep breath and then said, "You are not an idiot and stop beating yourself up all of the time, Lorcan. THat's what I meant by loosen up. Sheesh, you are so dramatic sometime." Rising from the bed she looked around for the little healer dude and didn't see him. "Look, I am gonna get out of here. I am not going to argue and I am not going to apologize either. Tell the Healer I am fine, I'll find someone to turn my hair back blonde." With that she turned to leave.

Lorcan was startled when she stood up. "Oh, oh don't go Lex, please." He sighed. "I'm being like her, aren't I? I just... I don't mean to be dramatic, I really don't. I'll sort your hair, if you want." he attempted to pick up his wand, but bending his fingers wasn't easy. "Crikey, ouch." he looked up at her. "Let's just call it a draw shall we? Please stay. Who am I going to make fun of if you go?" He silently vowed to keep his insecurities to himself in future.

"Well I'm not waiting any longer." She said looking at the boy. She gave him a quick examination. Alessia had been a healer in training... she just couldn't handle the pain of seeing people slip away. "Master Sunrider, it seems you will be fine... just pain." She said and went to get a pain potion from the cabinet. "I'm sure the nurse won't mind if I give you this. Abby will escort you back to the common room, and you will rest there for a few days." She told him.

"Jake, I want you to see the headmaster." She said, "He will arrange your stay at St. Mungos." She would tell Pepe everything.

"Marcus..." she said looking at the man, with an I-want-to-be-your-friend-but-you-need-to-apologize-to-my-godfather look, but then said "Good day." and left.

Watching Professor Lupa leave, Jake wiped his eyes under his glasses and looked back at Lawson, his eyes drifting over to the curtained bed.

"I'm not going to ssssseee anyone," he announced defiantly to the man, because he had to tell someone, right. "I am NOT going back to that place," Jake added firmly, only this time his voice shook a little. Getting down from the bed, Jake went to the door and glanced outside before leaving, taking out his spare wand as he did so.

"Not," he muttered as he left for a walk around the grounds.

Lexi smiled to herself and turned on her heel and plopped down on the bed across from Lorcan's. Smiling she said, "You are nothing like her, just a bit over the top with that little temper, Nemean. I'll stay and don't worry about my hair. It will be okay." She lay back and started to hum a little tune to herself.

Lucy watched as Kat was unable to follow Carter's finger. Now she was extremely worried. However, Carter's instructions seemed simple enoughe and so Lucy accepted the cookie and looked up at Kat.

"OK Kat, just finish up your cookie and then you can lie down. But don't fall asleep! Don't worry, Rafe and I will make sure you stay wake until you can follow someone's finger," she said encouragingly, looking up at Rafe to see if he agreed. Then she bit into her cookie.

Lorcan was glad that she had decided to stay. "My temper is over the top? Ok, alright." He held back a laugh. "That's your opinion is it Miss Feisty?" She had plopped down on the bed near his. "Are you sure about that hair though? It looks... well it looks nice, but you might get in trouble. Your the one who's supposed to get me in trouble, not the other way around." His wrist ached and his face was starting to hurt too. "Are we going to do something fun when we're allowed to leave?" he asked her hopefully.

Carter returned with some ice in a bag and a cookie. He handed it to the guy. "Here you go. Let's set this on your wrist. And this cookie should cure your boils." he said. He then walked over to Livvy. "Hey, do you know how to change hair color?" he asked her.

"Oh cookie!" kat tried to say excitedly but failed since her head was still hurting. She took the cookie and started eating it slowly. "Thanks Carter" She said with a smile.


"Thanks" She said to Lucy and Rafe. Once she was done with the cookie she lied down and tried to relax. However she started getting tired when Lucy and Rafe stopped talking. All she wanted to do right now was fall asleep but she knew she couldn't. "Soooo...." She said to them trying to start a conversation to keep her awake.

Lorcan took the ice and the cookie gratefully. "Thanks!" he said to Carter. He gently lay the ice over his wrist. It hurt more at first and then it started to do its job and numb his wrist. He took a tentative bite out of the cookie. It was different to any other cookie, biscuit or cake that he had ever tried. It wasn't the nicest, but then it did contain a potion to remove his boils. And that was better than having his face lanced. He looked over at Lexi and grinned. It could have been worse.

Lexi smiled weakly and said, "I doubt I will get in trouble for having funny hair. No worries, Nemean. I am not sure what else we can get into around here that we haven't already done." She smiled wider and shook her head as he ate the cookie and she watched the boils disappear.

Nemean looked at Lexi, slightly crest fallen. Is she fed up of me? "Oh, well, I'll just go and see Athena then." he said inbetween bites of his cookie. When he had finished it he felt his face. It was smooth. "Have they all gone?" he asked her.

"I'll join you up there. I would like to see if Wasabi has come back. Sometimes she just goes back up there and makes me come get the letter. She is quite tempermental, really." Lexi said with a little yawn.

Looking over at his face she said, "I think they are all gone now." She lay her head down and closed her eyes and hummed her little tune again.

"Hey Luce," he said cheerfully as she sat next to him. Rafe took himself a cookie and scarfed it down. Skating really worked up an appetite for him. He felt warm and fuzzy all over. "Wow, these are amazing!" Rafe exclaimed. He turned to Kat. "Is there anything I can get you? Back rub? Butterbeer?" Rafe felt like being incredibly helpful. He felt like...cleaning. Weird.
