Kylie had been standing there quietly so far. She walked up hesitantly to Kay. "Kay? It's Kylie. I'm not your mum.. But I'm here for you." She concluded. She stared into her friends face, it was so pale.. "Kay, do you remember what happened? Lorcan. What happened?" She asked quietly.

Lorcan frowned, feeling scared. Had she hit her head? "No Kay, I didn't see your mum. Have a drink of water. That will cool you down a bit." He held out a glass for her, not sure what to do. He cast a frightened glance around for the Healer, wanting her to hear Kay talking. This was beyond him. He just didn't know what to do.



Lorcan decided to give her a shortened version. He whispered: "We had an argument and she got herself all upset. She's not eaten for two days until you saw us in the great hall. She went flying and fell, I think."

He was trying to be strong but he knew this was his fault.

"Oh." Kylie said quietly. She grabbed hold of Kay's hand lightly. "Poor Kay.. she's going to be all right, though. Right?"

"Water? No, can't. I'll throw up. I don't want to be sick." Kay said shaking her head. "My mum? Lorcan and Kylie?" Kay started to get up. something was not right Her mum was dead. "I think I need to go. Lorcan help me go. My mum. I have to find my mum." Kay looked at Lorcan and kylie. "Please don't leave, Ok." She said grabbing Lorcan hand a little harder. Lorcan hand was so cool."Why is it so hot in this school." Kay heard them talking about flying and wished she could be flying. "Fly would be nice, wanted to go flying."

Lorcan pushed Kay back down onto the bed. "Kay, calm down or you'll get us kicked out. You're not going anywhere." His voice came out in a stern whisper. "You won't be sick if you just have a little sip. The Healer wants you to drink it. You can't go looking for your mum Kay. You're at school and she's..." He glanced at Kylie "She's not here." He didn't know who Kay had told about her parents. He had told the Healer for Kay's own good, but their friends were a different matter.

Ah so she was still talking to him...sort of. Even though she had that 'I-don't-like-you-right-now' look in her eyes. "Oh?" Marcus, tore his gaze away from Less to Jake and frowned slightly before looking back to Less again. He was a little startled by the change of subject but covered it up with a happy smile. "She's doing great. You should go down and see her, I'm sure she would like that."

Marcus looked back to Jake again when he spoke and frowned once more when he saw the boy pointing at the bed with the dead student. Something wasn't quite right but he had no idea what it was. Trusting that Alessia did indeed have everything under control, he gave Jake a reassuring smile. "It's okay Jake, Professor Lupa will look after you."

Raising an eyebrow at Abby, Marcus decided to just play dumb on the matter of the bed. "I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about Miss Wright. Why don't you go and take a seat next to Mr Sunrider, while we wait for the Healer." If the woman ever decided to grace them with her attendance that is.

Marcus snorted at the seventh year Hufflepuff. "They can't all be warriors like you, I'm sure." He sat back down in the chair beside the young Gryffindor girl and waited, somewhat impatiently for the Healer to arrive.

"School? Oh, yeah. Ok maybe just a little water." Kay took the class from Lorcan. she drink a little bit and it felt good. She was still to hot. "Do I have a fever? It so hot.' Kay said looking at them. Kay's mind cleared a little as she looked at Lorcan. "You know my mums..." Kay stopped she didn't want to talk about it here. Kay looked away and than layed all the way down on to the bed. She must be really sick if she was thinking of her mum. "I have the flu and I think I fall down, twice. But I not sure." Kay closed her eyes and just wanted to sleep. But she didn't want Lorcan and Kylie to leave. Kay grab each of their hands and hold on.

Tori chuckled and blushed a little, "Thanks. Professor is it possible for wizards to have special bonds with their pets?"

Marie quietly walked into the hospital ward and looked for Kay. It didn't take long for her to spot her laying in a bed with Lorcan and Kylie there with her. 'Maybe I should just let her be for now, I can see that she is ok and that she has her friends with her' Marie thought. 'No, she is my friend to and I want to make sure she is ok' she told herself as she walked over to Kay's bed.
"Hi Kay, how are you doing? I came to see you as soon as I heard you were here."
Marie looked at Lorcan with a 'what are you doing here' look then turned to Kylie and said "Hi."

Lorcan stroked the back of Kay's hand and then pulled his own hand free. "It's alright Kay, you need some rest and you'll be ok. That's why you're here. "

Lorcan saw Marie approaching the bed. She gave him a very unfriendly look, from which Lorcan understood Kay had told her everything. His face burned with shame."I'm going to go, three is too many people. Do as you're told Kay and you'll get better." He turned and walked away from Kay's bed.

Kay opened her eyes to see Marie standing at the end of her bed. "Hi. Thanks for helping me to my common room before" Kay said closing her eyes again. "Sorry, so tired" Kay felt Lorcan's hand leave hers. "No, please don't go." kay said opening her eyes.

Upon bringing the girl in, Livvy smiled at the crowd that was gathered around Kay's bed and then headed over to make some herbal tea. Honestly, she didn't know if she was allowed to. But if she got in trouble, she'd just blame it on Melita. The woman didn't explain any rules. Plus, Livvy's herbal tea recipes were legendary and always worked when relieving a fever. So after some searching, she found the correct ingredients and after some time, created the tea.

She picked up the hot tea carefully and brought it over to Kay's side. "Alright guys. I'm sorry but you're all going to have to clear out once Kay's finished drinking this tea. Honey. You have to drink something warm and hot if you're going to get better," Livvy said with narrowed eyes.

Lorcan heard Kay calling to him but he kept walking and left the ward, just as the healer had asked.

Kay sighed remembering what Lorcan hated her. she watched him walk out of the door. Kay looked at the healer and smiled a little. "Thank you. I'll drink it all." She took a sip of the tea and it was nice and warm. "Why did he even come here if he still hates me?" kay said to her friends.

Marie just looked at lorcan when he said he was going to leave. 'I better make this quick, I want to talk to him alone before he gets too far away' she thought as she turned to Kay.

"I'm glad you're doing ok now but next time I am bringing you here myself and not back to your common room, no matter what you say." 'Wait, next time, I hope there isn't a next time' "I won't stay I just wanted to see for myself that you were ok. I know you need your rest so I don't want to stay and keep you awake." 'Besides, I really need to catch up with Lorcan before he gets too far away' she thought.

Just then the healers helper came in amd said everyone would have to be leaving. "Kay, I'm going to go now. I will come back tomorrow if you are still here."

"Ok, thanks for your help and thanks for coming." kay said as Marie walked away. 'boy can I clear a room' Kay said to herself. she drank her tea and slide down into her soft bed. "Thanks Kylie for staying. Just stay until I go to sleep. Please." Kay said closing her eyes.

Abby is a past master of the no comment, comment. She has watched her father give a thirty minute answer to a question and not answer the question. Professor Lawson must have taken the same course her father did. "Yes sir." Abby is too tired to argue the point with Professor Lawson. She already knows a student has been killed. Abby would just assume not have to look at the bed. She walks over and turns the chair, so she can avoid looking at the curtained off bed.

"That might have done it." Carter said. He held up a finger. "Follow my finger with your eyes. If everything checks out then you just must need some sleep and relaxation." he said. He began moving his finger left to right and watched her eye movements.
He looked up for a second to see Livvy running around making herbal tea (something that he had done earlier too.) "Hey Livvy. Try giving her a cookie too. Healer Melita mixes in potions with them, so she porbably has one for whatever our patient has." he said focusing on Kat again.

Kylie stayed until Kay had fallen back into what looked to be a not-so-peaceful sleep. She sighed slightly, willing her friend to get better, and walked out of the hospital wing silently.

Kay woke up and looked around. 'where am I' she thought. Looking at the table next to her bed there was water. Kay grabbed the water and drank it all. With a sigh she put the glass back down. "what time is it?" Kay asked no one. It felt like it was morning for kay could see the sun low in the window. Kay needed to get up but didn't know if she could, or where the loo would be. Kay saw someone moving. "Hello, Is anyone here?" as she called to the shadow she saw, Kay realized she was in the hospital wing.

Oooooohhh la la la la laaaaa...

Livvy walked into the Hospital Ward with a smile and a little strut. She felt LOADS better now. She was just freaking herself out by thinking that it could be what she had two terms ago. Silly her. It was just a normal headache. That was it. Convinced that it was nothing more, Livvy pushed it to the back of her head and made her way inside the ward.

Who was shouting? Confused, Livvy ran towards the bed where Kay lied."Kay? You're awake? Good. Hold on a sec. I'll get you a cookie. It's supposed to help make you feel better," she said, nodding her head as she walked over to where they kept the cookies and picked one up.

She then walked back over to Kay's bed side. "Here you go Hun," Livvy said gently with a small smile as she handed the cookie to the girl.

"Thank you. What time is it? How long have I been sleeping?" Kay asked as she took a bite of the cookie. 'oh so good. I am so hungry' Kay thought as she looked at the healer. "Was I that sick?" Kay asked the Healer. Kay felt so much better but was still really tired.

Livvy smiled at the girl as she helped the girl up into a sitting position and fluffed the pillow to make it more comfy. She lifted the bed sheets so it still laid over her and she straightened them out. "It's morning, kiddo. You've been sleeping for well over ten hours," she said, winking at her. "You're a deep sleeper." She walked back over to where the pitcher of her herbal tea was and putting it on a burner that Melita had, that's where she did her cooking, Livvy pulled out her wand and muttered, "Incendio."

Fire sputtered out and she allowed the herbal tea to cook. Livvy returned to Kay's bedside, just as the girl began asking her a question. "I guess you were if you could sleep that long. Sleep does great miracles to you. Do you want anything to eat?" she asked, smiling as she walked back over to the pitcher and poked at the fire with her wand and turned the fire down. Livvy then poured the now hot herbal tea into a mug, set the pitcher down, and walked back over to Kay, setting the mug down on the table.

"Oh, yes please. I do feel a lot better, not hot any more." Kay picked up the cup of tea and drank. "Thank you for the tea." She looked around the room and wondered who had been here with her. "When do you think I could get out of here?" kay asked smiling a little.

Lucy rushed into the hospital wing and immediately spotted Rafe, Kat, and Carter in a corner. She ran to them as fast as her long legs would carry her.

She stopped right infront of Kat's bed, holding her coat in her hands.

"Sorry I'm late, I ran into some trouble! How are you doing Kat? Have they figured out what's wrong with you yet?" she asked in a concerned manner.

She was very worried about her best friend--what if Lucy had done something to cause Kat's illness? She would feel horrible. She took a seat next to Rafe and looked over at the others for an answer.
