| | |  HoM BASIC Lesson 2 (1st-4th years)
Today the observatory contained desks for the students to sit at, arranged in a half-moon shape though each of the desks were slightly misaligned.
There was an orb of sorts in the centre of the room which appeared to be a three dimensional 'blackboard' of sorts, shaped so that it could be seen from every angle of the rounded tower room.
The board was not empty.
It contained an image with no words to accompany it. 
Professor Truebridge was sitting in a chair underneath the orb, tapping a beat out on his knee and humming a tune while he waited for his students to arrive.
Each desk had plenty of parchment and quills provided, suggesting that the students might need extra at some point in the lesson. ooc: Class will commence in about 9 hours. Professor Truebridge WILL take points for excessive chatter. 1st to 4th years may post in this class with the exception of those who have been asked to attend the ADVANCED classes. | |

"I believe that Professor Dumbledore regained some of the moral fiber that he had lost track of and realized the error of his ways, especially after the tragic death of his sister. Grindlewald obviously didn't and therefore their plans and friendship could not continue," Zoe stated frankly after placing her hand in the air. She was glad that she had always been an avid reader.

"Its a shame that innocent people always seem to get caught in the crossfire of power struggles isn't it?" Ethan asked rhetorically, nodding along as the students gave their answers.
What was that owl doing? It appeared confused, a little dreamy and spaced out, flapping around near the centre of the room.
Ethan eyed it in mild annoyance, not really appreciating another interruption to his lesson.
"Would someone mind catching that owl? It appears to have a message attached..."

Owl catching? On it.
Destiny tiptoed slowly over to where the owl was, and grabbed it fast. Bringing it over to the professor, all going crazy in her hands, she handed it to him. 'Crazy little owl.'
Maybe she would make a good owl catcher one day?

'An owl?' Evelyn thought, looking to the professor than moving her gaze to where his was. Sure enough, there was an owl flying through the room. 'What the... how did it get in here?'
Sighing, Evelyn was about to go and try to catch the owl when she saw Destiny already do that. 'Well, saves me the trouble of getting out of my seat.' she thought tiredly before leaning back in her chair again.

He read the note a few times, his eyebrows raising into his hairline. What. On. Earth?
Well, at least he knew where Caroline was now.
Truebridge cleared his throat.
"It appears that class will have to end now, unfortunately." It was unfortunate, right? Because surely they all enjoyed discussing history and what not.
"Ah... homework..."
He flicked his wand and it appeared in the display orb. Quote:
HoM Basic Lesson 2
The Elder Wand
a) Draw a timeline of the Elder Wand and include the following: /5
- Each of the known Masters of the Deathstick
- at least 5 well known events in Wizarding History
- Accurate dates
b) choose any two Masters of the Wand and write one paragraph on how they are connected to one another. /3
c) In one paragraph, explain what makes the Elder Wand unique. /2
Due Sunday 1st November at 10am GMT.
/10 points with extra credit available for outstanding assignments.

Evelyn watched as Professor Truebridge's reaction carefully as he read the note. Something was up...
Humming to herself, she looked towards the orb thingy and read the homework. Was he serious? ALL of that? That's like...three pages of stuff! Not really, but still! Groaning, she wrote down the homework with a grumpy frown and slowly packed up her things. Now she had to walk down all those stairs. Not looking forward to that.
Standing up and stretching while hiding a yawn behind her hand, she grabbed her bag and started towards the door. "G'bye Professor. Hope everything is well." she said, indicating towards the note, and then went on her merry way. 'Merry?...ugh...' | |

Kay said to him as he ran by. She looked up at the homework and wrote it down. 'more writing. I'm never going to get it all done' Kay pack her own bag and left the classroom with out talking to anyone.
