HMmmmz... Miranda did NOT like ANGRY PEOPLE and cringed at the sight of the woman and the voice... And miss Professor Bunbury was getting annoyed. Maybe she'd like a chocolate frog? Better not risk it, she had ALOT of wands in her hands, if Miranda somehow ticked the professor off, there was no knowing what she'd do.

Instead, she bent over her bag under the desk, quickly unwrapped her own chocolate and stuffed it into her mouth. Calm, yes all is calm. Lallalalalaaa...

Though, Miranda did wonder what they were going to study today. Was it dangerous? So dangerous that one might want to defend herself?

But he looked back at the professor and watched curiously at the bin full of wands. Hmmm. Maybe they were gonna learn about wand-eating plantsss.

Iris skipped into Herbology. "Hi Professor... Um ... Why ... exactly do we have to give our wands in?" She asked as she took her wand out of her pony tail.

She handed the 9 1/2 inch, willow with phoenix feather wand to Bunbury then walked to her seat.

Shrugging back in a careless way, Jake suddenly felt that change that kept on happening. At once, he turned back to Bunbury and said, rather quietly, in a voice that neither stammered nor slurred, "I don't need a wand to do magic."

That being said, Jake smirked in a way that plainly said, "Threat? Wanna find out?"

And then he turned and sat at properly at his desk, no longer worried about having his back to anyone. He sat there, quite unbothered, in the very front row.

What was he DOING?! Rachel stared at her co-Prefect as he strode out of the greenhouse, his nose held higher than the Astronomy Tower. Was he INSANE?! He was supposed to be setting an example for the kids, not being all rebel-like and storming out of classes whenever he disagreed with something.

Imagine if they all did that; it would be CHAOS. Looking down at her shoes, the sixth year tried to pretend as if she hadn't noticed what had happened because she didn't want to be associated with that kind of behaviour at all. Plus, he was REALLY rude. If you're going to leave, at least be polite about it...

Oh, and another tip - try not to INSULT the teacher. Idiot.

"But Professor..." Evelyn complained, frowning, before taking a step closer and lowering her voice so only she could hear. "It's not really a good idea to...take...my wand. I mean the last time someone did that-" Breaking off and shaking her head, she glanced around the room nervously before sighing and letting her head hang down slightly.

Bringing her arms back in front of her, she grabbed her right wrist. Her wand was still there thank merlin. She glanced quickly at the open door, then back to her wrist. Evelyn didn't know what to do. It was not good for anyone to take her wand away from her. It was practically for their safety that she kept it with her. She could already hear the voice laughing and taunting her in her mind.

Looking back up to the professor's face, specifically her eyes, she stared sadly for a few seconds before her expression hardened. Without moving her gaze, she took her wand out of her sleeve, holding the dark wood in front of her. "I doubt my wand would do you any help...professor." she whispered, her voice a little different than normal. 'Safety only huh? Argh! Stupid voice! Not now! Not with a Professor!' Evelyn yelled in her mind. 'You're gunna get me in trouble!' "But of course, just for safety reasons, hmm?"

Smirking and glaring at the same time, she dropped the dark wand into the bin and stared with an unblinking gaze for a few moments longer before turning and taking a seat farther away from the Professor. 'Don't you dare touch it, or USE it! That's my basilisk fang wand! Don't even look at it!' she thought, turning her gaze back on the bin and watching wherever it went. Evelyn was a bit protective of her wand...

CHris sat down and watched as the rest of the students handed in their wands. A few people decided to question her about it and nodded when she told them no and to give them to her. He honestly couldn't think of a reason for them to have one in here in the first place. She probably decided against wands in her class because of the Ancient Runes incident a few days ago with..he looked around the room, ah there he was, Jake Upstead.

"Hello professor," she said politely after dropping her wand into the pile. She took a seat and waited for class to start, trying to ignore her hand itching to take her wand back.

Eh... all the wands going in the bin... how would he be able to pick his back out? Tavelon thought. He sat in his place, preparing his things as he watched professor Bunbury snap at the students. And forty.... what was this about her being forty? Obviously it was true, otherwise so many students wouldn't have known about it... and she wouldn't be so defensive about it. But the real thing that troubled Tavelon was this wand collecting. What if Bunz started a bonfire with their wands out of sheer spite? But his other theory sounded more accurate in Tavelon's mind- she was probably the one stealing from the other professors. But why? Perhaps she wanted it so when all the teachers lost their wands, she would have control! Then she'd take over the school and make them all be under her command. The other professors would suffer under her bootheel.... literally and figuratively... because she had all the wands.

"YES! That's it!" he said triumphantly, standing up at this absurd revelation.

Tavelon turned a little red and sat back down. "Erm... sorry professor... I... erm... Remembered how to pronounce 'Venemous Tentacula..."

"I see," Bunbury nodded calmly to Copernicus, watching the wand come to a rest in the bin. She was tempted to just pull Michelle out and set her off to the side or lock her in her desk drawer for safekeeping... but she did have enemies in this class and what if they mistook Ethan's wand for her own and then and then and then they tried to steal that one too?!?!!

Not that... she was admitting her own wand had been stolen or anything....

"There is no respect in your tone nor your actions," the professor quietly answered Jack. She waited for him to leave and with a calm shake of her head turned back to the rest of the class.

"Hello." Anastasia merely nodded to the last student to come in and then headed back to her desk with the tub of wands. Finally. They could start class now.

"Devil's snare?" Jake said, in a pleasant tone, with also a dark look in his eyes. Not only did he remember that detention (and should he be in his other state of mind, the boy would have totally FREAKED at the mere thought of the plant) but he also remembered what he'd done to Bunz's office.

Damon raised his hand "Professor wouldnt garden plants be one type that should be respected." Damon thought that any plant that grew food for example might be of note. some of these plants might have things that you needed to be wary of such as bad things in them.

Iris thought about the question that had been asked, and looked at her book... Hmmm... She raised her hand. "Um ... would Mandrakes be one, Professor?" Well ... you had to be coutious of them, right?

"Pretty much all plants should be respected, professor." she muttered tensely, still keeping her eyes on the bin. Even though she hated most plants, unless they were roses *hehe*, everything should be respected..yes... even plants. And wands! Wands should be respected too! Don't touch it! After that, all she could think about was that her wand was mingling with the others. Touching all the other woods and who knows what fingerprints and grease stuff were on them...'OKay, got to get over it.' Breathing in a deep breathe, she sat up straight in her seat and tried to focus on the lesson. Maybe...

Becca took a minute to think before she answered, seeing as Herbology was not her best subject and she didn't really have a green thumb. "Would a Snargaluff be one, Professor?", Rebecca asked, unsure of her answer. Maybe it worked or maybe it didn't, but what did she know? She was not a Herbology professor.

Jack tapped his chin a couple of times, trying to think of an answer. Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in his head and his hand shot in the air. "Well, professor, you'd have to use an awful lot of caution around a Mimbulus Mimbletonia, wouldn't you? I read somewhere that if you poke them a certain way, they end up spraying you with this nasty, smelly gunk. Because the Mimbletonia is very rare, you'd have to give it a ton of respect with examining it to make sure you didn't damage the valuable plant," he said.

After attending her class for a number of terms now, he hoped he had given her an acceptable answer. Bunz was always about being nice to the plants.

“The Whomping Willow professor?” Abigail could still remember its reaction to her just taking ONE of its loose leaves; it wasn’t a happy tree that was for sure.

Miranda took a deep breath as she watched the Professor deal with the students. That Prefect had just WALKED OUT. Like whoa.

Poor Miss Bunbury, she's having a hard day...
So it seemed, but the woman didn't really look like a dangerous person or someone who is crazy. She shrugged.

Listening to the professor and then the qustion she asked, Miranda raised her hand to answer.
"Professor, miss" she said before, "Does not that apply to ALL plants and nature things? Because if we do not treat the greenery with respect then, like most things, they will be destroyed by our bad care." Did that sound right? "Though, some plants do have the need for more care than others, like the Mandrakes...Maybe treat the plants like we did last term, you know with the singing and the snuggling..."

OOOOH! OOOH! Class started. Cam raised his hand and thought for a minuteeeee. Which plant? Cautionnnn? RESPECT FOR NATURE?! "Professor, I think that one Venomous Tentacuuuuuulaaa should be VERRRYYY cautioned and respected because they strangle people aaand... well I think that's a VEEERRRY bad thing."

Lucille tapped her head in a knowing sort of way.

"All of them?" she said. "Unless they're evil," she said with a nod.

Destiny rasied her hand 'Would the bubotuber be one? It should be cautioned and respected because it is kinda dagerous and it can help you.'

What was up with all these classes and dangerous things? Not fun for Destiny.

Chris raised his hand. "Well like someone said, all plants should be treated kindly but wouldn't close to defefnsless plants like bouncing bulbs need extra care and respect?" he said thoughtfully.

Copernicus raised his hand. He was in fairly good humor so long as he could keep an eye on their wands from where he sat. "Professor, I know this isn't precisely what you mean, but I have a healthy respect for calendula. Someone I care about has a vicious allergy."
