It is a beautiful day, the sun is shining brightly and a cool, fall breeze is lightly stirring through the first of the fallen leaves. All in all, it appears to be the perfect day for an outdoor lesson. As you make your way down the sloping lawn toward today's class, you see several wooden benches lined up in front of a large shade tree. Standing under the tree, Professors Morgan and Bunbury wait patiently for their students arrival. Take a seat and get comfortable. Class will begin shortly. | |

"On the Druid calander, Ash's birth period is February 18 to March 17. It is possible that Cedric Diggory was born during this period. If he was, then Ash would be well suited to him. The Druids believe that the wood of certain trees would be good for certain people depending on when they are born. They also believe this wood would tell you something about the person. That would tie in with the wandlore that the wand chooses the person. The wood of the wand may be attracted to people whose birthdate correspond with the Druid's Celtic Calender The wood would also chose that person because their personalities would be compatable.

Abigail raised her hand “Ash is in the Celtic tree calendar between February 18th and March 17th, but Cedric was born in June. If he had been born during that time would it have made him even more compatible with his wand?” She wasn’t sure if that was right...could you be any more compatible with your wand? It is your wand after all.

Evelyn looked over at the other slytherin that she recognized as Nikki when she spoke. Well, that was true about the blood. Another question came to mind. "When a unicorn is born, it's pure gold isn't it?" she asked, hearing or reading it somewhere, but not quite certain. "Just wondering."

Now that she had a free hand again, Iliana quickly resumed her niffler ear scratching. "Very good, class. It seems like most of you have at least a basic knowledge when it come to unicorns." Hopefully that was due in part to the fabulous unicorn lesson she had given two terms ago. "Now, I want you to keep in mind the healing properties and the purity of the unicorns that we've just heard mentioned. What do you think the power of the unicorn tail hair is when used as a wand core?"
