Woooow he then heard somebody else say his name. Already turned around Chris looked to see who it was."Barry! Hey buddy. I've been okay....How about you I haven't seen you in awhile." He commented. But then he realized that Barry probably didn't know Lena. "Barry this is Lena." He said pointing to his girlfriend. "Lena this is Barry."

"Ahhhh I see what you are saying." Chris said still quiet. Chris then looked down at their hand and started to stroke her hand softly still smiling as he looked back up at Helena. Okay so he knew there were a lot of his own friends around them but he didn't want to waste a minute with Lena.

What is his problem?! She listened in disbelief to what he was saying and watched him get up and move away from everyone else. Staring at him for a moment, a hurt expression across her face, she glanced over at Destiny for a moment, having to take a double look. Was she crying? Destiny too stood up and walked back over to the Slytherin table without a word to her, and looking forward, she saw Marilyn had went off to speak to Carter and whoever that other girl was.

Slumping in her seat, Evelyn slowly and gently placed her hands on the table and just stared at them, looking at Josh out of the corner of her eye. Sighing, she stood up and made her way over to the Slytherin table when suddenly she stopped. She didn't know why he was acting like this, and she was going to find out! Marching over to Josh, she sat down and stared at him, not speaking a word. 'Is he...jealous?' she thought, scooting closer to him. She didn't care anymore who saw, she just wanted them to be okay. 'Parents can just deal with it.'

He ignored Destiny's sad stare, his mind was busy with jealousy; he also ignored her words, his mind was busy with anger caused by jealousy. Where he stood, left side empty right side empty was a good place to stay and try to be calm, if, of course that was even possible while Rose kept wondering and gossipping about other....whatever.

He just directly stared at the plate before him with anger filled eyes as if he was trying to split it in two pieces with mental power. Was it possible? Might be with that intense jealousy. He looked up when he heard footsteps. Destiny's footsteps as she was heading back to the Slytherin table. And 'Wha!' was she crying? Definitely she was. 'Why is she crying?' He did not want anyone to cry. For a moment or so he gawped at her back as she walked away. 'Pfff, no!' He stood up to follow and comfort her aiming to explain that she was not exactly the reason for his react but halted right there when he saw Rose settling right next to him and just staring at him without saying anything. ''What am i supposed to infer from this?'' he asked and sat down back on the seat.

"Oh, yeah.. they'll like meeting you too! But hey.. would you want to come with us? Hunter would love to meet you." Ella said with a warm smile, hoping he'd come along. And she prayed that her parents wouldn't ask her why she befriended more boys than girls. She couldn't answer, at least truthfully, with that. She grinned to herself, then turned back to Carter.

"Oh, hey Marilyn," Ella said in her best effort of a cheery tone, but anyone would have been able to see the ice in it. "Sure, go ahead." She scooted away from Carter and gave Marilyn a place to sit between them as she forked the cheesecake around her plate.

Evelyn continued to stare at him without saying anything, even after he asked why. Although she did have to say something. And she did... "What was that?" she asked, well, more demanded. "You know we hate Jake. Or, at least now you do if you didn't before." she gestured her hand in front of him as if to show he now knew. She continued to stare, and angry look passing over her face before she let out a sigh and calmed down. She couldn't be angry at him.

Argh, even when the Hufflepuff wasn't here, he was still causing trouble and making her life miserable. Yup, Jake made her life miserable. Just by breathing really, he did. Though, she had no clue as to why...

'Why is she looking at me like i did something wrong?' Josh thought still exchanging looks with her. He was never the one who looked away once his eyes met with another's. Especially he was not going to when it was Rose who was staring at him. For a moment he though she was never going to speak but just kept staring but that turned out to be a fallacy as she opened her lips to ask a simple question. Simple to ask, not so easy to answer. And after that her explanation followed it. ''I just...'' Johs began but stopped sighing. ''I just cannot stand it. Okay? Jake here, Jake there, Jake everywhere... I don't care what others talk about. They can debate about him nights long but you... even you do it. Will you please do it while i am not around, ha? Will you?''

Evelyn listened, starting to smile when she heard his words. "Are you..." she started, trying to hold in a giggle laugh. "...jealous?" Finally she let a little laugh escape, looking around the room to try and control herself. Before he could answer though, she continued on. "I promise I won't talk about Jake around you, okay?" she said softly, all her anger disappeared.

"Besides, I don't think you should be jealous of us talking about ways of making his life miserable and if he went to St. Mungos or not." Where he should be! Crazy person... But he wasn't the only person they should, and would, talk about making lives miserable. Oh there were other people, like another certain Hufflepuff. And personally, a certain Ravenclaw, regardless that Destiny forgave her, Evelyn still hadn't.

Lena chuckled softly at this before Chris began stroking her hand gently. A small smile played on her lips at this as she looked back at him once more to see him just looking at her as well. Her smile widened slightly. She then looked over as Chris greeted another one of his friends - wow he had a lot of them! - and introduced them. It's nice to meet you, Helena said with a brilliant smile.

Carter put an arm around Marilyn as she sat down. He leaned in and gave her a swift kiss on the cheek. "We were just talking about the Quidditch Cup." he explained stealing another glance at the staff table. All the yelling had died down. "Are you going?" he asked. He ignored Ella's invite for now. Her parents would probably think it odd if they spent so much time together when she had a boyfriend and he had a girlfriend.

''Yes. I'm jealous!'' Josh snapped but not much angrily, it was more like he wanted to emphasize it. ''What if i am?''. He closely watched her expression change, her lips twirling with a little smile. 'What is so funny?' Did he look funny when he was jealous or angry? ''Actually i prefer you never talk about him but okay. I think this is okay, just for now.'' No, it was of course not okay but there was no way he could force her to stop talking about anything. It was neither appropriate nor possible.

''Maybe i'm just upset with the school ending and so overreacted. I know you were trying to keep this hidden but Carter and Marilyn already know and i doubt they would not tell anyone. Also i remember Professor Lupa announcing the whole class that we have flirted, don't you remember?'' he did not know why he mentioned this and how on earth he could remember it. Maybe it was a proof that what was going on with them was not a secret. Yes, it was. ''Anyway just forget it okay. I'm sorry''

Evelyn jumped slightly when Josh seemed to snap, spiking her anger for a moment before settling down again. Maybe he was overreacting just a bit...or maybe she was overreacting, but this whole thing seemed silly. "You know what?" she said softly, letting her hazel eyes gaze into his. "I don't care anymore. I don't if anyone finds out. Hiding just seems silly, just like this 'argument' 'bout Jake."

Oh yes, she remembered Professor Lupa mentioning that to the entire class. Just the thought of the memory made her cheeks burn in embarrassment. "No I'm sorry. I was leaving you out and well, I wanted it to look like we were just friends, but I guess I went a little overboard on that. But, now I changed my mind." she nodded, looking down at her hands in her lap. Just have to find some way to get her parents to behave. And she most definitely won't be able to go to Jason's house this summer anymore, she knew that. "I don't want to see you upset or angry, and obviously me trying to hide things is, so...no more hiding for me." It was worth a shot though.

Josh looked down at the plate again. It was strange that he was not feeling hungry anymore. If she was trying to hide it, than she was trying to do it because that was an important detail which better be hidden. And if it was an important detail which should have been a secret, it was most likely to lead them in many troubles regarding what she had told about her parents. *Groan* If only he knew why they had to be like that... ''It was a nice try'' he said quietly his eyes still on the plate ''Till i react and ruin it, of course.'' Looking up at her he started to play with a spoon ''Seriously, a few people might know but not the whole Great Hall. And it'd be better if that Jake freak knew.'' now he mentioned him with the realisation of that he unconsciously stabbed a nearby bread with the spoon.

''Oh...what was that?'' he turned around looking confused when he felt something soft toucing his hand though where he needed to look at was the table as the bread was there but nowhere. ''Whatever..don't worry i'm not upset or angry.'' he approached to kiss her but backed quickly remembering that they were in the Great Hall with hundreds of other students and as he did so he accidentally knocked down a few cups of pumpkin juice. ''Ooops...I look like an idiot''

Aw he said Jake freak. Another person they can count on to pick on Hufflepuff. Or in Josh's case, annoy to death. Sighing in obvious happiness, she was about to hug him, or something, when he spoke up again. "What? What was what?" she asked, suddenly concerned that he may be hurt or worse! Well, what worse can be over being hurt...

Deciding that he was okay, she moved her legs out from the table and turned on the bench so she was facing away from the Gryffindor table. Swinging her feet slightly, she looked over to Josh, a small smile playing gently on her lips when she realized that he was leaning closer. No, no no, they were in the Great Hall. Too many people. He seemed to realize that too since he moved away and spilled pumpkin juice.

Laughing, Evelyn stood up and grabbed a few napkins from the side plates next to her that weren't being used, and gave them to Josh. "I'm going to see if Destiny is okay. She didn't look so happy before. You can come too if you want." she said quietly, kissing him on the cheek before heading back over to the Slytherin table. Glancing up to the staff table though, Evelyn saw that there was still some arguing going on with Kazi and some of the staff. Though what was with the levitating papers?

'Phew!' That was narrow. He could not believe that he actually attempted to kiss her in the most crowded place he had been in his whole life. And here it was unlike the Three Broomsticks, there were probably dozens of girls looking for a good gossiping topic. Or his housemates who were looking for more opportunities to tease him. The way they tried to tease him about her in the common room was fun, though. Grinning at Rose as he took the napkins and put them on the droppings of pumpkin juice on table and they quickly got orange fat absorbing the liquid.

''That was fun, too'' he murmured then turned back to Rose when she spoke. She was right. He also needed to see Destiny for it felt like he was the reason that she cried. 'Darn' Maybe she actually cared and felt sorry because the Gryffindor boy reacted like that, maybe she did. ''All right'' he replied with a small smile and took more napkins ''I'll be there soon once i'm finished with that pumpkin mess''. Not that he cared about if the table was clean or not. They were both girls and were best friends so he thought they might need a few minutes of girly bestie chit-chat before he could stick his nose in.

Marilyn smiled sincerely at Carter, grateful that she had him. His little kiss to her cheek truly made her day. "Yes, they go every year." Something that bothered Marilyn to no end. With her father's broom business and his associates breathing down his back, attending wasn't merely an option but a necessity. Her father had wanted to present a united 'supportive' family. It was beyond ridiculous. But since she was dating someone who enjoyed the game, now...going wouldn't be such a chore. "I wanted to ask you...Would you mind going with us? It'd give you a chance to meet my parents..." ...if you can call them parents.

Carter smiled. "That would be fantastic." he said happily. That was one thing he could stop worrying about. He looked up at the staff table again. Just in time to see Prof. Truebridge thrown out of a window. He could feel his jaw drop slightly as he just stared at the window.

Kat noticed Rafe walk in and looked down at his plate. "Ay yo Rafe!" Kat called out and started walking towards him. "What's good buddy where've you been." She asked as she sat down next to hiim. "So i'm inviting you to my cousin's house this summer. If you want to go chill you know her family's more ... uhh...cool"She shrugged and smiled at him.

Marilyn smiled, glad Carter was accepting her offer. "Well, at less I have that look forward to, yea?" She laughed before glancing towards the staff table again. The scene unfolding in front her eyes was surprising. "Did he seriously just throw him through the window?" Poor Professor Truebridge. And he'd been one of her favorites, too..."Do you think he'll be okay?"

Rafe finally looked up from his plate. He hadn't even eaten anything. He just didn't feel like it. Rafe forced a smile as he looked at Kat. "Hey Kat," Rafe said as upbeat as he could. "Oh, I've been around." Rafe shoved his plate away from him. "That sounds great," Rafe said. Rafe took in a deep breath. "I'm actually making plans of my own this summer. Remember what we talked about? Looking into our family's past." Rafe turned to Kat and looked very serious. He lowered his voice so only she could hear. "My mum has joined this pristine pure-blood wizarding group and if she's distracted enough, I think I might make my way to Romania. It shouldn't be too hard now that I have a wand. Also, I might have to use muggle transportation to get there, but I don't care I have to know. Even if I have to do it alone."

"I have no idea." Carter said still looking at the window. "I hope so..." he said not sire what to think. "This has been quite a year, huh?" he asked unable to look away from the staff table and the window.

Kay listened intentively as Rafe spoke. "Oh. Well I was going to find more info on my mom before actually heading out to look for her " she shrugged. "My aunt should have some info. Said she couldn't tell me anything but to start in a country that starts with G and somewhere near me" she said. "Rafe you don't have to do this by yourself. I'm up for an aventure" she smiled at him.

" You just do as you like Evelyn" Jason said to her. " My castle is always open to you and all my friends" Jason told Evelyn.

" Kat, this is Chris, a good freind of mine here, probably my best friend here at Hogwarts" Jason told her. "Chris, this is Kat, a real lively girl" Jason said to him. "She is a very good friend" Jason said to Chris.

" Oh. I will be sure to miss a little of this and a little of that from you" Jason laughed." Yes, food ,it is something we have at the endof term feast" Jason teased Kat.

Rafe laughed. He did admire Kat's spirit. "That would have to be Germany or Greece," Rafe said. The two countries were somewhat on the way, but he didn't want to but Kat in danger. Though he did know the languages of both countries, no it's was too dangerous. "Kat, don't you think it would look a bit conspicuous for two twelve year olds to be going across countries alone?" Rafe laughed. "I admire that you're up for adventure, it's just that it might be too dangerous. Plus, I think I might be going during the World Cup, the wizarding world will have their eyes on Europe while I'm making my way into Romania." Rafe sighed. It would be dangerous, after all he was looking for an undergound world of werewolves.

Kat smirked at Rafe. Did he really think she hadn't thought about that. "Well of course it would look conspicuous if two twelve year olds are just cruising don the streets by themselves. But who said we were going to look like twelve year olds. And plus you don't look twelve" she stated. "Dangerous?" Kat laughed a bit. "I think I would be more in danger staying at my place then going to Romania" she said.

"Mmhmm..." Marilyn rolled her eyes in the direction of the staff table. "It's great to know that our esteemed teachers behave just like teenagers. That's awesome." The blonde sighed, turning back to face Carter. She stared at him for a moment, before laughing. "It's okay to blink, you know? The head table wont disappear if you look away for just a moment."
