"Its pretty cool, huh?" Carter said following the new girl at the table's gaze up. "My name's Carter. What's yours?" he asked starting to put food on his plate.

Sloane smiled. Eager to start classes? That made one of them. "The ceremony won't be too, too long. Just be patient." She took a sip of her pumpkin juice and placed the goblet back on the table. "You'll be sick of classes in no time anyway," she added with a small grin. Emma looked like she was dozing and Sloane gave her a light shove on the shoulder. "Hey, none of that, missy. It's not even that late!"

Sloane noticed Zeke Weasely claim a spot diagonal from her. He was a seventh year.. right? Mentally, Sloane kicked herself for not even getting to know so many of her housemates. He was easy to spot though, with his fiery red hair hanging over his forehead as he piled the food onto his plate. "Hey," Sloane greeted with a friendly smile. "Zeke, right?" Or was it Zach? No, Zeke. Jeez, she really was horrible with names.

"Zeke," he agreed with a smile. "I'm sorry, I don't know your name..." he said apologetically. He wasn't sure if he'd seen this girl around before or not.

Zeke looked around confusedly as Reese scooted closer to him. "Um... sorry to butt in... but what in the heck is going on here?"

Jack grabbed another roll and threw it at Torin again, this time aiming for his face. "Well, you better explain FAST!" he told him. He would throw something more painful if he didn't start telling him what was up and SOON. Like a FIST.

"If she's so in love with ME then why does she keep talking about YOU?" he asked, frowning and getting ready to throw some more bread. He would keep this up all day if he had to. HE WOULD!

"Zeke. Got it," Sloane said, committing it to memory. "No sweat. I'm Sloane Jackson. Sixth year." It was much easier to just go with the flow and give everyone the impression that she had attended Hogwarts for five consecutive years so far, so she always said nothing further about the subject. She smiled at the seventh-year before she, again, smoothed out the wrinkles on her skirt that just wouldn't seem to disappear. "Bet it's weird for you, hm? Last year here and all."

STOMP!STOMP!STOMP!

Ohhhh SO THEY WERE AT GRYFFIES NOW? Cam saw... Jack... Reese... other people, IT WAS PERFECT. "I'm SOOOOO HAWT AND YOU'RE SOOOOO NAWT!" He announced to the whole table, mainly making a BIG REAL STOMP on those people mentioned above Cam screeched LOUUDLY, and poured a little bit more mooncalf on the table (oh NOES he was running out!)

"DOOD WILLIE, WE'RE REBELS. FLAT-OUT REBELS!" He snorted maniacally and continued running full-pace.

He kept ducking the rolls as they were thrown at him.

"Please stop. I'll explain to you. Just not here." He was nervous now. He wasn't scared of Jack himself, but of what he had to tell him. He dreaded it.

"I have a girlfriend. I wouldn't brainwash Reese. I don't like her like that!"

Whoa. Whooooooooa. ZOMG. What was going on here?! Zeke's eyes widened, watching the scene play out. "Uhh..." he began pathetically, not even knowing what he was going to say.

MERLIN'S BEARD, WHAT WAS THIS TABLE COMING TO?! Bread being thrown, screaming, POO, stomping, crazy 3rd years?!?!!!!! Zeke's eyebrows raised when he was informed that Cam was so hawt and they were all so nawt. OH MAH GOODNESSSSSSS.

"Sloane," Zeke repeated. "Yeah, it is really weird. My laaaast year at Hogwarts. Geez. It went by so fast." He wondered vaguely how she'd known that he was a seventh-year (and his name, actually - he was fairly sure he'd never met her), but he decided it wasn't really of much consequence either way.

Rafe blushed a little at her kiss. Weird? Girls were definitely weird?

"See ya Little Italy!" he called out to her as she went to join her fellow snakies. Oh, wait until the school year really started! That's when the real mischief would begin!

Now he was back to joining his fellow Gryffies, he was wondering what all he missed. Uh oh, it looked like Jack was going to get in a fight with Huffie! Oooh, this was getting interesting. He placed his bet on Jack that he would come out on top in the end. He picked up one of the thrown rolls and began eating it. Yummm...

He kind of sat back and listened. If there was a fight, he didn't want to be in the way, but he definitely didn't want to see his Quidditch captain getting into trouble.

CLANK, BANG, TRISH, TROSH

The Gryffie table was about the best table they have picked, possibly because many students were on it and maybe also because Cam was losing his mind.

Willie loved it.

"WEEE AAAA'EEE MATE WE AAAAAAAAREEE!" Wilie cried out excitedly, still holding onto Cam's arm and watching him with blazing green eyes as he declared that they were better. BECAUSE THEY SOOO WEREEEE.

"LET'TH GOOOO!" The boy hollered once more, tightening his grip onto Cam. What he did NOT know is that when they were about to jump off the table, something squishy, possibly mashed potatoes from the table caught his barefoot and caused him to SLIIIIIIP.

Slipping onto the Gryffindor table, dragging Cam down with him, the food made a large. SPLAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTT, flying all over the students faces.

Flicking his wand at the two terrors, Marcus cast the body bind on both boys and stood over the two of them as they laid on the floor. "Not too fast now are ya?"

Sloane's mouth curled into a grin as some Slytherin boys came up and made a fuss about being particularly 'hot.' The spectacle was entertaining - maybe they'd get house points taken away - but the whole thing seemed to be directed mainly towards some other Gryffies, so she shrugged and looked back to Zeke. "Yep, I suppose it does," she pondered aloud, speaking blankly as she scooped up some of the mashed potatoes and placed them onto her plate. "It's hard to imagine life outside of Hogwarts sometimes."

Alexandra spun around quickly when the silly boy started exclaiming loudly... she was just in time to get bombarded with food... in her face, hair and mouth. She was seething angry, at first anyway, but then started to guffaw. She got up and stood on the bench and began to clap.
Turning to the boy and his friend she said, "Good show blokes! But I perfer to eat my food by choice." Then she scooped up a hand full and playfully flung at the boy.

Zeke ducked, dodging a plate of mashed potatoes flying at his face. He thought he should probably do something about this since he was a seventh-year, and he was supposed to have... leadership and all that... but what was he supposed to do? *mentalpanicandflail* Also... it was kind of funny.
A gravy boat tipped over, spreading gravy all over his plate. It somehow ended up in his hair, along with some mushed up cooked carrots. Merlin's beard. He wiped it off as best he could, but he didn't have much luck. Gawd, Cam and Willie were gonna gettttttt ittttttt later. Why did they think they could run? Oh, well, who cared why. It certainly made for an... interesting opening feast (as if there could be one that wasn't - it was pretty much tradition).

"Well, um..." Zeke said. "This is certainly an interesting opening feast. And to think that that Willie kid is in the same house as my brother," he laughed. "I almost hope Zach becomes friends with him. Then I can watch him make an idiot of himself," he said in an affectionate-brother way.

"YEHHH WILLIE, RUNNN!"

Cam yelled out when Willie formed a grip around him but WHAT??? NO NO NOOO THE PLAN WAS FAILING. He sliiippeedddd with the Hufflepuff, face flat on one food... sticky wet... like gravy. But soon enough before he could run once again, NUUHHHH WHAT WAS THIS FEELING? He felt frozen. Definitely. Frozen.

His own body fell to the floor like a block of ice. Ouchhh. But he fell to the floor with a deafening thud, gravy all over his face and silver mooncalf dung on his arms and robes.

...he just stared.

Chaos. Absolute, utter, CHAOS had erupted at the Gryffindor table.

Just as Jack was about to remind Torin that Bunbury was NOT his girlfriend, that little terror Cam Karsten came over with his MOONCALF POO and started stomping around on the table. Mashed potatoes flew out from where he stomped, getting the Quidditch captain square in the face (and right over the bruise that said Slytherin had given him earlier) before some pudding landed on his pants.

IT WAS A MAD HOUSE IN HERE!

Some other little kid, whose face Jack recognzied but whose name, he could not remember, had joined Cam as well, screaming and crashing all over the place.

"What in the name of MERLIN?!" Jack exclaimed. Oh lordy, he was going to faint, this was all just TOO MUCH for him! He let out a sigh of relief as Lawson, the oh-so-great Defense teacher, came over and put the boys in their place. For now, at least.

Probably not a good idea to chuck any more rolls at Torin with him around. Nooooope. Instead he rolled his eyes and looked for his wand to get rid of the stains forming on his pants at the moment.

Well, at least Jack wasn't throwing anymore rolls. But he caught the eye roll. He was telling the truth.

"I do! Her name is Brody Summers."

He heard Lawson and others around him but he was too engrossed with this issue to really care about what was going on.

No problem! No problem! Lawson couldn't catch them now, could he?! Right?! YES?! Willie pushed the food with his dirty feet, ready to stand up when he felt like his body turned against him and FROZE. He couldn't even move his EYES!

His body fell to the floor like a brick. It hurt his bum, yes. All his body was covered in poo. His barefoot, the complete back and a little in the front of his clothes and a lot on his trousers.

He would've yelled but all he did was stare.

just stare.

"Yah. That's an understatement," Sloane added with a light laugh. Sure, air-born mashed potatoes wasn't exactly the norm in the Great Hall, but it certainly was entertaining. And the kids who were doing this whole thing had guts, she had to give them that.

"What year is your brother?" Sloane asked, her eyes wandering over to the scene every now and then.

"He's a firstie this year," Zeke said with a grin. "Hopefully he makes my last year here interesting..."

"My ears are burning," Zach said, coming over to Zeke's table. "Your table seems to be quite a bit more interesting than mine..." He smiled at the girl Zeke was talking to. "Hi, I'm Zach, Zeke's brother," he said to her. Putting their names so close was a little weird; they were kind of similar, actually. But technically it was all Zeke's fault. He could just go by Ezekiel. Then they'd be Ezekiel and Zachariah. Which weren't very similar. Wow, his train of thought was kind of weird.

"Aww, cute," Sloane said sweetly. "So, does he have the bright red hair and green eyes, or did he miss that gene?" She twirled her fork around in her potatoes, slightly amused by the tracks it was making, until finally she scooped a bit up and put it in her mouth. But, he need not anser her question, since the boy himself came wandering over to the Gryffindor table. "Oh, wow.. You guys are, like.. totally brothers." Her eyes darted between the two as a large smile sprawled across her face.

Carter scooted his seat back about a foot when he jumped in surprise. What in the world was going on? A kid just skidded across the table. What was going on at this school?!?!? And why weren't this kids moving? Were they frozen? So many questions were running through Carter's head.

Since he was younger and in shape, Vindictus quickly overtook Kazimeriz and was the first to arrive at Lawson's side. "So, what do we have here?" he asked as he towered over the two students whom were on the floor thanks to a well-placed full body bind. "Messy, too. Did they miss the table manners prerequisite for attending meals at Hogwarts?"

"Or so our mother keeps telling us, but I'm still holding out hope that I was adopted," Zach said with a laugh, punching Zeke in the arm in a brotherly way.

"Someone's about to geeeet itttttt," he whispered to Zeke and... the girl who still hadn't told him her name. He grinned wickedly. Being at Hogwarts was definitely drawing him out of his shell, and it was only the first day.
