She beamed at everyone as the door shut behind her and then she started skipping (with her flock of cookies still encircling her head) down past the Hufflepuffs, tossing cookies toward the table which fluttered onto each plate. Once there, the wings disappeared and a seemingly plain chocolate chip cookie was all that was left. "Welcome to Hogwarts!" Sophie declared in her high pitched, talking to a baby, voice, over and over, as she went.

She just finished with the Ravenclaws and now it was on to her last "stop" before heading to the staff table. Melita continued her skipping and greeting routine down the Gryffindor table.

Ugh, pink! Who was this weird woman? Cookies everwhere. Josh laughed more even at her sight. First that funny ghost Peeves, than Sara and now the Lady Pink Cookie. This school was much more funny than he expected. His eyes spotted the cookie which was flying towards his plate and, like a snitch, he caughed it with a quick act of his right hand stuffing it into his mouth. ''Mmmm delish''

Sara looked at Drew...was he interested in her friends or just having a hard time finding a topic to talk about. She wondered what Drew and Josh had been talking about. Ignoring Josh, Sara turned herself to Drew and said: "Like I said on the train, I was the teachers' pride and joy. So, I didn't have a lot of friends... there was one though...my best friend Lisa. Lucy was sited on one of the seat wondering to make a few little more friends. As her friends had been lost, somewhere and she could not find them. Therefore, she thought to make some more new friends. Hoping some one to say ‘Hello’.

Taking his drink, she poured some into her hand, making sure nothing spilled, and then put a stronger cooling charm on it than the one she put on the chocolate frog. Satisfied with the end result, an ice cube that was someone slushy, she quickly stuck the mixture in his shirt down his back and quickly sat next to him. "Wake Up!" she yelled in his ear.

Shaylee walked in to the great hall a bit late, and looked for one of her friends. She was excited for the new term to start and couldn't wait to see her friends. She searched the crowd of students but didn't have any luck. Her friends must have not been there yet. She walked around and sat down next to what looked like a first year. She smiled and waited for somebody she knew to come with her.

She pushed her treacle tart away from her, talk of Mummy and Daddy made her feel a little sad. She wouldn't see them till Christmas, and that wasn't for ages as yet. Sighing, she rubbed her stomach. No more food tonight, she had eaten a little too much. She rubbed her tired eyes, wishing she could go and see Godric and give him some owl treats and a kiss. She tried to ignore the tears that had begun to prick in her eyes, and yawned. "Hmm, I wonder when the feast will finish," she said to no one in particular. "I'm awfully sleepy."

"Peeves you're lucky if I don't report you to the Headmaster!" he said angrily to the poltergiest. That really set Chris off. How dare he!

Chris pulled out his wand, pointed it to his head and said "Scorgify." The rest of the gravy disappeared and his short brown hair was restored to its clean normal look.

Alexandra started as the pesky Peeves not only got Chris with gravy, she got some of the splatter. She was shocked for a moment then exploded with giggles at the sight of the Gryffindor prefect cleansing himself of the gravy. "So, that's Peeves, huh? Um gravy is not your color." she exploded with laughter.

''Yeah, many of them are pretty coward. When i was in London with my family, there was a girl, a friend of mine. She screamed a lot when i accidentally broke her orange colour pencil by magic, ran away and never spoke to me ever since. It was very funny'' he replied to Ellie his eyes still closed. When he was finished he kept snoring louder.

Chris watched as the girl sadly listened to him and then a tear ran down her face. Chris looked at the poor girl and he felt terrible about whatever 3was making her sad. "Aww it will be alright. Hogwarts is much better once you get used to it. What's your name? Im Chris Potter." he said trying to calm the girl down some.

Lucy walked into the Great Hall, quite happy for the the start of the term. She skipped happily to the Gryfifndor table, and sat down. She looked around and saw many new faces--first years. She also saw Chris, the Gryfifindor prefect, who looked like he had bits of gravy in his hair.
"Ahhh, back to normality..." Lucy said to herself.
She tucked a piece of her strawberry blonde hair behind her ear and reached for some roast potatoes.
