Via chuckled as she heard what Daisy and boy - say Joshua.. yeah that was his name - talked about fruits. She never knew Daisy was interested with such things. She watched her scratch the thing on her face and gasped "Gillyweed?" Those things are... are horrible... the smell, the look, she shivered. "What did you do with them?" she asked her bestfriend. "Slimy eh?" she added although her eating pattern wasn't at all affected. "The reason why you look a little bit glum today?"

"Ahh... fruits. Whatta healthy way," she smiled. "Has great effects on the body." She took some of the bowl of fruit and said "Thanks Daisy." Peaches, pears and plum??? What was that all about? Vivianne had never been that choosy with fruits as long as she's in the mood to eat.
She got interested when Daisy started to talk about the etymology of something. "Because they started with apples that have pines," she said as she continued to chew her sandwich and took a bite of a cherry.

As Daisy motioned to her she smiled at the boy. "I'm Vivianne Nat," she said as she looked at her plate.

Well, "Hello," Via again said as another Lion approached. "Luna..." Hmmm, how many girls with the name Luna had she met already? No one yet... only her.

“Hi Luna,” Daisy said with a smile taking the bowl of fruit back from Vivianne to add more fruit to her plate. Vivianne was right, fruit was good for her and with all the candy the two girls had acquired from Hogsmead, it was probably a good idea to eat something that was good for her. “I’m Daisy, this is Vivianne, and this,” she motioned to the boy she had just learned the name of. “Is Joshua.”
“I was trying to get this particularly stubborn type to sprout some buds,” she took a bite of fruit. “Didn’t work and only got me dirty and frustrated.” She sighed and tapped her plate with her fork. “The slimy didn’t bother me as much as the algae. That stuff smells gross.” Little did Daisy know that the algae smell was in her hair and on her clothes because of the failed experiment. Poor girl, she just thought that smell was lingering in her senses because she had been around it all morning.

It was a good thing Daisy did the introduction since she had began picking the sliced pieces of fruits one by one with her fork and shoving them into her mouth. She would have to increase her fruit intake.

"That's cool," she nodded. "So, you're into herbology? I'm not sooo good with Plants..." she sighed. "I've tried to do some plantings back at home but they all didn't survive. My dad always laugh at me because of that," she said as she smiled at the thought of her father. "Reaally gross," she seconded. "Oh by the way..." she said as she had smelled Daisy, "You smelled like fish... stinky something eh can't explain," she whispered trying not to offend her. She was about to add her joke about where she have brought her perfume but thought not to...

As Lucy walked into the Great Hall, she noticed Katlyn sitting at the Gryffindor Table. She made a beeline towards her and almost bumped into her.
"Hi Katlyn!!!! How are you?? Oh, it's so great to see you!!" she squealed, and gave a half-hug only because she didn't knwo how Katlyn was about hugging.
"Oh, my God, I should totally give you a nickname, like Kat! How do you like it? Tell me if you hate it, seriously.." Lucy said to Katlyn as she plopped down next to her and grabbed a goblet of pumpkin juice.

"Oh my god !! Hey Lucy!!"Katlyn said excitedly and gave her a tight hug. "Kat! I luv it!"She smiled.

"Well, there is a lot of new students eating here. Jason missed all the canaradarie. Oh well, hopefully someone will say hello to him. Jason eats bangers, mash and eggs. Jason sees an old friend. " Hello Vivian" Jason said to her between bites.

Vivianne was almost finished with her food when she heard someone say her name. "Hey," she smiled at the guy. He looks familiar, yes. "Jason," she blurted out. "It's been a long time since i last saw you." She saw him at Honeydukes but she has not spoken to him although Jason tried to call her attention... how could she notice other people then when she was busy with her bestfriend.

"Come take a sit.." she motioned, "Oh and this is my bestfriend, Daisy."

"Joooooosshhh!" Ella exclaimed, "We made the Quidditch team!" She raised her palm, awaiting a high-five. Her smile was nawt going to vanish in a million years. "I'm a Beater, and you're a Chaser, right?" she scrunched up her brows in thought.

''Peaches are good, i like the colour of them'' Josh laughed and raised his eyebrows at her question about the pineapple ''That's a good question'' he replied rubbing his chin ''Never thought of it but i know they are in the berries family. Hmm...'' he was trying to produce an idea as he chewed more potatoes ''...maybe because they look like pine trees, its leaves and stuff...anyway nice to meet you, Daisy, a very pretty name.'' the young Gryffindor smiled and looked up to the girl Daisy introduced ''Hi Vivianne'' he waved at the girl some and nodded as she mentioned her idea about the pineapple ''Yeah, could be. That sounds reasonable.'' *cough-cough* ''You sound like you have a very close relationship with pineapples'' he joked aimlessly grinning at both the older girls.

He looked around as someone nearly screamed his name that would cause a rather timid person to suffer a heart attack. ''Hey, hey, hey!'' Josh stood up cheerfully to gave her a high-five. ''Yeah a chaser. So be really careful'' his expression became very serious in a sudden ''There's great possibility that i'd chase anyone anywhere'' then he, laughing at his own joke, winked at her.

" I am glad to sit with my good freind" Jason told Vivianne. " Food is still the same old food,right?" Jason asked Vivianne. " Hi Daisy" Jason held out his hand for a handshake. "Any freind of Viv's is a freind of mine" Jason said to Daisy." "So how long have you been going to HogWarts?" Jason asked Daisy.

"Good, good, I'm glad you like it! So, up to any mischief lately?" Lucy asked Kat with a sly smile on her face. She knew Kat was very mischievious and loved to get into trouble. Lucy was probably the only thing keeping her from getting into trouble, although she joined in with Kat's pranks all the time.

Ahahaha. Did she weird him out? All the better. Wink wink.
Oh, niiice. He was the flirty type. Or was he? Hmmmm..

"Wanna meet at the lake later? I've learned how to skip pebbles now," she said, pretty proud of herself. Hehe. Plus, she needed some tips on Quidditch. But let him eat for now. Mmmm. She picked up a treacle tart, licking her lips, but ended up giggling. She could nevaaa keep a straight face.

Josh looked at the cheerful girl and smiled widely at her. That was another colourful spirit which he liked But 'metting at the lake?' that was a little bit confusing bu okay ''Yeah, i think i can. Skipping pebbles, very interesting'' he replied. Though he knew she only wanted to play, for some reason he got the impression that she was going to state more thnigs than skipping little stones on the lake. Smiling at her again as she ate her tart, he sat down to look for more thnigs to eat.

"Sadly no" Katlyn said "But i will do something mischievious later on today I hope." Katlyn replied excitedly. "Wanna join me?" She asked Lucy. After all that's how they became friends.

"Doesn't it?" she said slowly, after gobbling up the treacle tart. No more food for now. Josh seemed a bit as if he was considering things..

Well, whatever. That kind of stuff didn't matter, right? He liked Eve, probably, it was too obvious. Ella debated the facts in her head; if she was there, then he'd have someone else to talk to if she bored him. If not..

"You should bring Eve if you want," Ella smiled. That probably should get anything he was suspecting out of his head.

Lucy nodded her head vigoursly as Kat asked about joining her with her prank. Her mouth was full of bread and she didn't want to spray Kat with bread.
Lucy swallowed, and said, "Yeh, I would totally love to join you. Just after I finish my transfiguration homework, though, becausee I need to catch up."
Lucy really needed to get the hang of the Summoning spell before her next Transfiguration class--her professor was getting agitated with her. Although Rafe's tutoring had helped her a little.
"So what are you up to right now?" she asked Kat.

''Sure.'' Josh replied. So this girl was only the friendly type. Maybe too friendly for avarage people but it was the best if Josh had to express his idea on it. ''I'm sure she'd be happy to join us''. By the way, where was she? Was it one of the symptoms of becoming estranging because of houses Gryffindor and Slytherin? At first, all that rivalry thnig was rubbish to him. He thought generalising people with stereotypes was stupid till he had met those two particular Slytherins. Trying to snap out of those thoughts he struggled to ask a question to Ella ''So, where did you say we were going to?''

Jason thinks cool Josh will like what he is doing next to him while Josh is eating. Jason starts to do jumping jacks. Then he does push-ups. He finally does sit ups. " Come on your turn Cool Josh" Jason told him. " Eat, excercise, eat, exercise, repeat" Jason explained to Josh. " Remeber, you want to get muscles" he told him.

“It’s one of my better subjects,” Daisy responded reaching for the milk pitcher again. “I like some of the more mundane muggle plants, you know,” she did a wiggly movement with her hand. “The ones that don’t try to eat you.”

And then Vivianne leaned in and whispered to her. “Fish?” Daisy started sniffing her cloak, then her hair, then her sleeve. She didn’t smell fish, just algae and didn’t make the connection. “Like dead stinky fish or live, swimming in a aquarium fish?” she whispered back
Daisy waved as she had taken the moment that Vivianne’s talking had allowed her to shove a very large slice of apple into her mouth and now her fingers were sticky. Sticky fingers were not good to shake hands with.

Viviane, sure knows a lot of people, she thought as she chewed. At least in the house, I don’t know about out of it. She’d have to ask her about that later. “Um,” she said swallowing around the apple. “Same as Vivianne, 5 years.”
Daisy brought her attention back from Jason and looked back over at Josh as she laughed. “Yes, didn’t you know? It’s my second cousin, twice removed.” How silly would that be at family reunions? Hello, this is my cousin – Mr. Pinapple, please don’t touch- he’s sensitive.

“So you made the Quidditch team?” she asked. “Impressive, it’s rare that firsties make the team. But at least now I know someone on the team.” And I’ll now I guess I don't have a reason not to go, Daisy tended to avoid the games, just because students got so crazy over them.

"Well, glad I met you" Jason told Daisy. " How come I do not remember you but I remember Vivianne?" Jason asked her. " I know you were here when I was here for that term" Jason looked at Daisy confused. "Well, always good to have more freinds" Jason said to her.

Daisy shrugged again as she took another sip of milk. “I tend to keep to myself, might be a reason.” There was also the fact that Daisy, in her first couple of years here, had spent a majority of her time in the greenhouses and at the lake and that was about it. She didn’t hang out with a lot of people and she didn’t hang out in the common room unless there was nothing else to do.

“And I spend a lot of time in the greenhouses.” She said as an afterthought. She scratched the patch of dried algae and dirt on her cheek and then reached paste Vivianne for a bowl of veggies. “The plants don’t really talk about the people that visit them, it’s kinda nice.” And quiet. And a good place to think. she added to herself.

Josh looked up as Jason called his name ans watched him as he did exercises which were quite impressive. ''Err...'' he began watching him and went on as he stopped to wait for his turn ''Thanks Jason the Big, but i'm not in the mood now'' he really, for some reason he could not understand, was quite unwilling to move his bottom. It was one of the awkwardnesses he had been experiencing lately. Maybe he was sick.

He laughed at her joke of Mr. Pineapple being a relative of her. ''So, it explains your hair...'' he said between breaths as he laughed. Then when he realised what he said, the smirk vanished on his face. He was doing it all over again. ''I'm sorry'' he apologised remembering how many girls he made mad with his jokes ''I didn't really mean it, did not intent to be rude. Frankly , your hair looks nice'' hoping she'd be sick of him, Josh went on ''Yep, i'm one of the chasers. Actually i was not expecting to be on the team just participated the tryout for some action. Looks like i have been lucky''

"Great," she smiled.

Ella laughed. "The laaaaake," she said slowly, hoping it was coming across to his mind. Teehee. "I'll be waiting," she said with a weird-ish grin, then headed out of the crowded hall to the blue water of the lake.

"Nothing now."Katlyn smiled "maybe we could do this homework together because i need tocatch up to and i really don't get this."Katlyn said hoping Lucy would help her with the Transfiguration Homework.

Hair? Great, first she smelled like some funky fish and now she had hair like a pineapple. What would be next? Feet like a duck?

“Hey,” Daisy chimed trying to hide a smile. “You spend the day in the greenhouses trying to get gilly weed to sprout and then we’ll talk about your hair. Hair like a pineapple indeed.” And now she was mentally picturing having green spiky hair. She decided it was not a good look for her. She chuckled softly at that and ate another bit of apple.

“I’d say,” she said as Josh turned the conversation back to quidditch. “It’s more a matter of skill then luck. If you weren’t skilled, you wouldn’t have made the team, good luck or not.” She shook an empty for at the boy. “Don’t sell yourself short.”
