"Yeh, Hogwarts is pretty amazing! And huge! Have you made a lot of friends yet? Besides your friend Tori here, whom I realize you are prettey good friends with already!" Lucy chuckled.

"Oh, that's great! Yeh, I like a variety of classes, so when I take my OWLs, I'll have plenty of chances of getting good grades. Do you have any siblings?" Lucy asked.

Katlyn walked into the Great Hall and sat at the Gryffindor table. "Hmm...What should i eat? What should I eat?" she said to herself. In a situation like this she would never know what to decide. "Hmm ... very dificult." She said tapping lightly on the table. She finally decided to eat some bacon and eggs. She pours herself some juice and scans the table.

Starving, Patroclus hungrily eyed the vast spread that was before him. Scooping as much as he could onto his plate, he began to eat with gusto.
Having temporaliy placted the hungry best with in, he turned to the girl next to him and greet the fellow fresh face,
"Hello, I am Patroclus, Katlyn right?"

"A few. But not as close as me and Tori are." Carter said with a smile.

Swallowing the last of her food, Katlyn turned to someone speaking to her. Sadly, she hadn't met anyone else before this. "Yeah, it's nice to meet you, Patroclus," she smiled. "First year, just like me?" she asked, not trying to be rude but just wanting to know. She wanted to meet new people in and out of her year as well.

"Hello to all, its my first year" said Lucy, as she wanted to make friends to new people in her first year.

"Oh, hey Lucy. We've met before." Carter said. "How is school going for you so far?"

"That's great! The people here are amazing, especially the professors." Lucy finished her food and got ready to leave. "Well, I have to get to arithmancy, so I'll see you guys around!" She waved to Carter and Tori, and walked out of the Great Hall.

Chris was hungry! He had woken up feeling the hungriest he had been in a long time. Perhaps it was because of the long run he had taken along the lake yesterday or maybe just being back at Hogwarts had made his stomich think it was supposed to be fed that much all the time.

But anyway Chris walked down the long tables, glancing here and there at the other tables waving to friends and returning smiles, until he found a place to sit. He greeted a few of the Gryffindors sitting near him and he pulled a plate of bacon and eggs toward him and beagn to eat. As he ate he was lost in thought about the classes he would have today.

He knew he didn't belong here, but something had caught his eye from across the Hufflepuff table. It was the Gryffindor Prefect. Of course, naturally the prefect would have something valuable.

At this moment he was under the table, looking up at the pair of feet that were either close to kicking him or too far away from even touching him. Willie was careful to not hit anyone. Somehow, he had managed to find the prefect as his shoes seemed to be a little shiner.

A wicked little evil smirk appeared on his lips, his hand now reaching out for the bag that was just beside him. He pulled it in, opened the bag, looked in and was close to cackling with pride. All what was in there would do. Slinging the prefect's bag over his shoulder, Willie crawled down to the end of the table and then crawled towards the other table, hoping no one noticed him.

After a while Chris was full and desided to head up to the library to get some studying in before the first Runes class of the term. He stood up and reached down under the table where he had placed his bag and it wasn't there. His expensive, designer bag from Italy wasn' there. He didn't freak out for long, he then realized that he must have forgotten it in the Common Room.

So the Prefect put a smile back on and walked cheerfully out of the hall headed for the library, but going to make a stop in Gryffindor Tower.

"great so far" Lucy replied "and how about you? are you having fun, tell me one of your favorite class" said Lucy.

"I guess you can say that," she said. Katlyn hadn't been around the entire castle yet, due to it being so big. Knowing herself, she would get lost with no problem. "Can I call you something shorter? I'm not very good with names," she added. Katlyn would even forget her own name if it wasn't for someone reminding her all the time. "Well im going to call you 'P' just because i think it sounds kool." Katlyn told Patroclus."And you can call me Kat or Katy if you don't feel like saying my whole first name. Sometimes I think it's a mouth full."

"It's been great so far. I think my favorite class so far has been transfiguration. What about you?" Carter asked.

Demetria was at the table, half asleep. She was going to go sit next to Chris, but he got up to soon. As she watched her perfect cousin, she notcied something odd. He didn't have his signature bag with him. That was when she saw the third year sneaking around, with Chris' messenger bag around his shoulder. It was quite obvious he had stolen it. No one crawls under tables with an Italien messenger bag unless they stole it. She followed him under the tables until he finally stopped.
"Wow, you are so cool. Stealing the prefects bag, huh? I wish I was that cool." she said in a sarcastic tone. She glared at him and waited for his desicion.

"Transfiguration, Great! It is really a great class. I like Qudditch, I love flying and I’m pretty good, I think."

Ranch watched sleepily as some Hufflepuff kid stole the male prefect's bag. He silently cheered on the guy as he crawled under the tables hoping no one would catch him....but then some blonde chick noticed and scolded him. Probably a future prefect.

"Hey, chick," he said to her, "It was just a joke."

He didn't know why he said that. Crap. Basically the first time he had opened his mouth here. But it was the only interesting thing that had happened so far.

Lilly walked into the great hall, stepped across the hall to the Gryffindor, and sat down. she looked around for a friend, but she didn't see one. she grabbed a plate and scooped up some mashed potatoes...yum yum. she was still looking for someone she knew to talk to. no such luck so far. oh well.

From behind her, Demetria heard a boy talking to her. "Chick?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow. No one had ever called her chick before. Dem stood there comtemplating whether or not to take it as a compliment. And she was fully aware of the fact that it was just a joke. Heck, if it weren't for the fact that it would be automatic point loss on her part, she would've stolen Chris' bag a while ago. Dang, why hadn't she thought to do that when Chris broke up with Lizzie? That would've been the perfect prank to pull on her perfect prefect of a cousin.

He grinned as all she asked was 'chick?' Apperently British people didn't call girls that.

"Sorry," he said,"Is there another name you go by?"

Katlyn was talking to Patroclus when she noticed a girl sitting by herself. "I'm going to talk to her she looks like she needs a friend."She said to Patroclus. Katlyn slid over to the front of the girl. "Hey I'm Katlyn"She smiled at the girl hoping to befriend her. "Are you a first year too?" Katlyn asked her.

"oh hi there" lilly said to the girl who sat across from her. "My name is lilly. no i am a second year." she replied to the girl. "how are you liking school so far?" she asked.

To tell him or not to tell him. That was the question going through Dem's head. Wait, since when had she comtemplated introducing herself to someone? She was usually the first one to smile and say hi. What was she turning into? "I'm Demetria." she gave him a slight smile. "And you are?"

"Ranch," he said, "Ranch Townsen."

Should he say nice to meet you? He didn't know It was never all that great meeting someone, half the time he couldn't remeber people's names anyway. And her's...he had already forgotten. Somthing unusual with a D. Hmmm....he couldn't think of anything else to say. Maybe she would say something, she did seem like the bubbly, optimistic, outgoing type, but if worst came to worse she would walk away and he would finish his breakfast and sleepwalk through his next classes.
