Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well. The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:

Ready for some fun?

For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new

Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong

Plymouth finished chewing, but his face was already wrinkling up with confusion. He reached for his goblet and chugged some juice before speaking, "Yellow? Yellow?" He tried to catch his reflection in his goblet, but seeing as the goblet was gold - it didn't help much.
"Is that a Hufflepuff joke?" Plymouth Morgan was not yellow. Did she mean coward??

Somehow, Daphne had made Plymouth--nervous? Anxious? Worried? Apparently about the wrong things? "I wasn't referring to Hufflepuff at all," murmured Daphne and blinked. "I meant...your complexion. Let's just forget about it. Have some pie."
Pie usually solved things--for men...? Right. Because Daphne knew so much about the opposite sex.

Plymouth gave Daphne a look, then eyed himself in his goblet again. Really? Was he getting sick or something? He didn't feel sick. He felt... really good, actually.
Never better, in fact.
But... Daphne worrying over him wasn't all bad...
...
Plymouth was startled when some random man popped up behind them. He had a tendency to forget where he was and what he was doing when he was Daphne, so err....
He shot Daphne a look. Random dude. Random question much? "A wolf with a tail, huh? Lupa's not on the loose again?" Plymouth Morgan instinctively slid Miss Hopton closer to him. Please don't munch on his girl, thanks. | |

"Errr," began Daphne. Her button nose scrunched up instinctively at the man's intrusion. His accent wasn't winning him any points in his favor from Daphne either. Bringing up her hands, as if to keep a shield between herself and the intruding whoever, Daphne wiggled her fingers. "No. Non. Non Loup. Sorry."
Wolf? Ew. "Should I be worried?"
Should she be running for her life right about now?
Not that Daphne Hoptons ran for their lives, you know, that was so classless.

Chad tapped the tips of his fingers together. "Mademoiselle Lupa was...not the wolf I was referring too, Monsieur." ...And neither had seen him. "Oh...well, thank you. If...you do notice something, please, my name is Chad Stryker. I'm from the Ministry...the creatures department. I head it. If you see...it, please owl me or..something. Or not." He shrugged. "Excuse me." With that, he ran off again to try bothering another group of students.

"Yellow and hungry," repeated Daphne and hummed thoughtfully. She too turned towards the food and picked up a plate. "This qualifies you as a sick person. In the wild," continued the blond with brows raised. Daphne ventured to pick up a drumstick with a napkin to put it on her plate. "You'd be a wounded and dying animal. An easy prey for the predator--that would be the wolf. You know. You're a 'Claw..."
....Frowning, Daphne picked up yet another drumstick. "The only thing easier than a wounded prey is a dead prey. Wolves aren't really scavengers though. Still. We can throw the plate at it."
No Plymouth Morgan for dinner, thanks.

There was a ridiculous amount of carbohydrates on her plate. Holding it with both hands, Daphne made a displeased face at Plymouth. Displeased. He had added weight to it.
And she was supposed to carry it? Sigh. No one told her that this was part of being a girlfriend.
"Alright. Just lead the way Wounded and Dying Plymmy, maybe we'll be lucky and not find a wolf in the way."

Kat walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down. She started loading her plate with food when an owl came and a letter landed right in front of her. She picked it up and started reading it. 'Well that was helpful' Kat said as she finished reading the letter. 'A country that started with a G? Close to home?' Kat thought to her self. "What? Greece? Germany?" Kat said sounding more and more confused by the second. "Yea she sure loved me that's why she left" Kat was mad now. 'Why would she leave if she loved me so much?'"Sure she loved me because that's what I would do if I love someone. I would just leave them." Kat said annoyed. She didn't feel like eating anymore so she got up and left the Great Hall. "Time to find Rafe" She said as she walked out.

Chris followed Lena into the Great Hall mostly happy though he was sad and tirrrrred. But when she sat down at the Gryffindor table he did the same sitting next to her. With out waiting he spooned some mashed potatos onto his plate and started eat. Ahhhhhh food was good......He then poured himself some pumkin juice and took as sip of that as he went back to his plate of food. He didn't even looked at Lena he was happy eating his food and was to focused on that to look over though that didn't mean he forgot she was there or anything....

Lena had taken a few bites of her Shepherd's Pie - and it was yuuuuuummy! - when she sat her fork down and poured herself a glass of water. After taking a sip and replacing the cup on the wood, Lena looked over at Chris and smiled. You act like you haven't eaten in days, she said with a laugh. Have the house-elves been starving you? she teased, smiling.

Chris heard Lena laugh and start talking to him. By this time he had slowed down with his eating process mostly cause he was getting a bit full. He then turned to looked at her. "Yes they have. You can never trust those house-elves." He said sarcasticly. Hummmm time for the truth. "See we can't fight anymore cause you don't sleep and I don't eat." He said softly to Helena. Welll at least he was telling her the truth.

Helena laughed and shook her head slightly, a grin on her face as she let her eyes drop back to half-eaten dinner. They snapped back up as Chris spoke once more, though and she frowned. I guess that is a problem, she said, trying to lighten it up a bit, though her face was still taut. Well, I don't intend for that to be the case anymore regardless, she said, offering him a small smile and leaning into his arm lightly, her opposite hand merely pushing around her food with her fork as she ignored it.

Heck even studying for exams I found time to eat." He said jokingly as he felt Lena leaning into his arm. Though he didn't mind it at all he just turned his head towards her and watched. It was going to be weird not being able to do things like this just being with each other soon...

Lena chuckled a bit wearily; now that her and Chris were on better times, Helena felt like she could have fallen asleep right there, but as that probably wouldn't have been the best idea, she forced her eyelids to stay open them and leaned quietly up on her own once more to let Chris finish eating. Do I really need to finish school? she teased in a whiny voice before grinning tiredly.

Lena smiled at his answer, feeling her stomach erupt in small butterflies as he called her 'babe'. It was just.... nice. She brushed them aside and chuckled. I suppose that's true, she said with a grin before sighing lightly at his question and shaking her head slightly. If it weren't for that extra year of school, I could be with you that much sooner - or at least see you more frequently, she added as an afterthought.
