Alex let out a little giggle as she smiled at Arianna, "how about I let you raid my closet for the event? We could go to the room of requirement, and I shall bring my clothes down there, and you can pick something out? Does that sounds good?" She asked as she petted the top or Arianna's head.. "Don't worry, everything will be alright." She said with a small laugh.

" Will you?" she said with wide eyes of excitement " That's so nice of you! But I don't think I'll need it, I have a few new things that my mum sent me, I'll figure it out among those, but thank you so much anyway, that was super!" she exclaimed hugging Alex briefly again.

Alex smiled, "Well I am glad that you have some things of your own.." She smiled and hugged the girl again.. "You are very welcome, if you need me, just owl me.. I'll be here for you okay?" She asked as she smiled and hugged the girl once more. "I have class soon.. I will see you later.." She smiled a smile that almost reached her eyes, but if anyone was looking closely they could see the sadness in them..

Alex turned and then glided off towards the corridor.

"Yes, Lycaon might have mentioned..." Her voice trailed off as another girl approached them...She had an exuberance about her that made Marilyn feel...slightly overwhelmed. People who were happy like this made her nervous...Yea, she knew it didn't make any sense.

Rafe's shouting quickly turned her attention away from both girls. It had actually startled her. "Lower your voice, Rafe...Gods." She could tell from the absolute terror on his face that what she had suspected was true. Some girls were so desperate. "Rafe...I have no idea how to say this..."

Marilyn was having a hard time meeting his eyes. "When we talked the other day, you were unsure about whether you liked Lucy or not...Anyway, when I seen you at the autograph signing, I was talking to you about your lovely gift baskets...And the moment you caught sight of that girl"...the same girl who was going to have a lot of explaining to do very soon..."It was like someone had flipped a switch. You started saying how beautiful she was and how much you loved "your Lucy"..." She wanted to gag..."it was incredibly..." The blonde knew no words to properly explain how gross it had looked.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa...Lucy would never...or would she?" Rafe had a very confused looked stretched across his face. Marilyn just confirmed what he thought was a dream was very real instead. He didn't know what to do or think. Was he angry? He could never be mad at a friend, those most guys would, he just wasn't one to hold a grudge.

"I know you're going to think I'm a fool for not being completely upset, but I'm sure her heart was in the right place," Rafe said sadly. "I mean I am going to confront her about it." Rafe forced a smile. "I mean can you blame her really?" Rafe laughed trying to make light of the situation. This would definitely put a damper on how he looked at girls. "Maybe I did something wrong? Like give her the wrong impression or something." Rafe shrugged. He definitely wouldn't let a girl get him a food or a drink ever again!

"What's up, Gryfffayyys?" Ella laughed, joining the Gryffindor table with an uplifting spirit. She was one of them kids, always happy.

Lucy decided to grab a bite to eat in the Great Hall, knowing she would need the strength after that sleepless night. She was walking along happily when she stopped DEAD in her tracks--Rafe Lycaon was sitting at the Gryffie table with Ari and the girl she had met at the Tent. And he looked...NORMAL.

EEEEEEKKK!! Lucy panicked. She was not ready to confront him yet. She hadn't even thought up of a bad excuse as to why did what she did.

She made up her mind real quick, and ran out of the Hall before anyone could catch sight of her. Though, her bright pink boots could be seen whipping out of the room.

She wanted to run to the her dorm and stay there all day.

Ella glanced at the girl who had just arrived at the table, kind of looking like she was already ready to leave. "Hey!" she smiled, "Remember me from the common room? Aren't you the girl Rafe loves?" Ella giggled a bit.

Marilyn was at a lose of what to say to her friend. If she would have been in his shoes, she'd have felt confused, slightly flattered, and scared. "Listen, you have a good heart. You aren't like me, obviously.." She laughted lightly, attempting to make a joke. It was a weak effort. "I just don't want you to think this your fault in some way...I mean, you have a flirtatous way about you...but its not so much that it would lead someone on." She was struggling to keep her anger at bay. He'd trusted Lucy and she'd taken advantage of him. "No one deserves to have their free will taken away..." She reached out and grasped his hand.

At the words 'Rafe loves', Marilyn turned her sharp eyes on the two girls who'd just joined the table.

Kat looked over at who had called her and saw Rafe. She was still upset of what had happened between Rafe Lucy and her so she looked back at her food and said " Hey Rafe" while basically stabbing her food with a fork

Arianna, after saying goodbye to Alex, turned to listen to Rafe's conversation, with her arms crossed in front of her chest she waited for him to stop talking.

"So what was the big rush about? " she asked him.

Marilyn did have a point. He didn't have a choice in the matter of being put under a love potion. "Well what do you think I should do?"

Finally, Kat answered and she didn't sound okay at all. "Did I say something?" Rafe was extremely confused by her manner. "Listen, Kat, I haven't exactly been myself, but if I did anything to hurt you or offend you I'm really sorry." Kat was not being herself, it made him even more sad.

Arianna could see Rafe was upset about it, so there was no need to tell him he made her feel uncomfortable with all his extreme love for Lucy.

"I knew it had to be something like that, you didn't look like yourself, when I tried to get you to Kazemire you nearly floated out of the mirror to go find Lucy..." she said with a sigh shrugging " I'm fine, you were just to lovable you made me sick!" she continued rolling her eyes.

Wait did he just say love potion?? Oh great I guess he knows now maybe that's why Lucy ran out of here so fast. Kat turned to face him and sighed "Do you not remember what happened" Kat asked in a calm way. " Well since you know about the love potion no use in hiding that from you" sh said and looked away. Lucy was her best friend but Kat knew that what she had done was wrong. Kattook a breathe and started her story " Well yesterday when I saw you guys together youwere acting weird so I started asking you questions and you said how you were in love with Lucy. So I was thinking about it over in my mind and came to the conclusion that she had given you a love potion. So I asked her if she did and she was playing dumb and was like give him what." Kat took breathe and continued. " So I yelled at her by accident because even though she is my best friend she sholdnt hav done that. So when I told her it was wrong and she was hurting herself she started crying." kat took another breathe and looked away. She never realized how long this story was. " so when you saw her crying you rushed over and started sayin stuff like y r u crying. U know stuff like that. So when I asked you for an antidote you took outyour wand and started yelling saying how I made her cry" kat said " so I took out my wand and started yellng at you and then left" finally she had finished her story. "woo that was a long story" Kat said with a slight laugh

Rafe listened to Kat's story, he felt like such a jerk. "Kat, I am so so so so so sorry. I would never raise my wand at you. You do know that?" Rafe got up and sat next to her. "Kat, you're my friend, and I would never want to hurt you by casting a spell or emotionally. I'm so sorry I said those things. I'm sorry Lucy put you in the middle and I appreciate you sticking up for me. But, we just have to forgive one another and get past this." Rafe gave her a big hug. "Again I'm sorry. A thousand apologies."

" I know you would never do something like that I don't know why I got mad" Kat said "Its just that I have a really short Temper so I'm sorry for getting mad at you" she said with a smile. " So we're good then"

"Rafe, you know just how you're flirtatious. You've got that 'guy' quality about everything you do. Don't even try to deny it, mister." Marilyn gave him a playful wink.

"I think you should definitely confront her...Ask her why she did it..." She listened to "Kat" talk and glared. She really couldn't understand some girls. The utter desperation was disgusting. "It's bad when things like this happens because it makes you cautious around everyone. Even your friends...And its stupid that you can even trust friends...I don't want you to not trust me..." What could one really do when trust has been broken? "I think you should just...sit Lucy..." The name left a bad taste in her mouth..."down and really talk to her...That's all you can really do."

"Yeah, maybe I should," Rafe took in a deep breath. "This is definitely going to be awkward." Rafe rolled his eyes. That wouldn't a a confrontation he didn't exactly want to face, but he would have to do it. 'I could always just act like nothing happened," Rafe said jokingly...sorta. Rafe gave Marilyn a heartfelt hug. "Thanks Monroe, this really means a lot. I'm lucky to have a friend like you." Rafe gave one of his most dashing smiles.

Arianna laughed will pleasure " I'll make sure not to forget that when there's a next time Romeo!" she joked punching him on the shoulder " But I have to admitte you were sickening just to look at. Oh Lucy I love you" she began pretending to be Rafe, hands together in front of her chest, one foot half in the air and dreammy eyes " Lucy you are my angel!" she laughed...

... but it quickly dropped. Why was Rafe so hug crazy? Kept hugging every girl in Hogwarts! She sighed and looked away, rolling her eyes.

Marilyn smirked at Rafe, clearly pleased to see his beautiful smile back. "You know, you are lucky to have a friend like me..." She smiled brightly and returned his hug. "You know im here for you no matter what, Gryffindor" Really, because he'd have done it for her.

The whole thing was very amusing to her. She glanced at Ari, as Rafe had called her many times, and laughed. "I've said it a million times...but its just funny to me how Slytherin girls and Gryffindor boys find each other."

Kat laughed at what Rafe had said to her. "Sure thing" She said to him. Kat knew that she probably would hex him the next time he would act like that. She turned to the other girls and said "Oh my gosh im being so rude. I'm Katlyn" She said to them with a smile

Marilyn turned her green eyes on the Gryffindor girl, smirking. "Yes, well...that's fine. My name's Marilyn...Although Rafe insists on calling me Monroe." She rolled her eyes dramatically.

Josh walked to the Gryffindor Table with his huge gray owl, who finally arrived, perching on his right shoulder. Naturally she was carrying around an orange letter which the Gryffindor boy had not touched yet. Lost in thoughts about whether he should open the letter or not he sat down on the table and as he did so the own hopped from his shoulder to the table right into his plate. ''Hey be careful!'' Josh scolded her as the bird bounced before him to force him take the letter off her leg. ''Wait! Can not you wait? I'm thinking''

KAt smiled at Marilyn and said "So you guys are good friends?" She asked her "What year are you in?" she asked once more trying to be friendly.

A brown owl flew into the Great Hall, carrying a small note in its beak. It looked over the tops of the Gryffindor students, looking for someone in particular. It quickly found its recipient and zoomed straight for a first year boy named Rafe Lycaon. The owl came to rest right in front of him, and dropped the letter in its beak onto Rafe's plate. Then it proceeded to drink from Rafe's goblet.
