"Nice to meet you, Ranch" her smile grew a bit. Demetria looked at him for a bit. "So what year are you in?" she asked. He didn't look much older then her. She would've asked what house he was in, but it was kind of obvious considering he was eating at the Gryffindor table. Demetria could tell he didn't seem all that interested in talking to her, but she figured she would be nice anyways. |
"Fourth," he said, "You?" |
"I'm a fourth year too." Ok so a little younger then she thought, but she was close enough. Demetria felt weird saying she was a fourth year. She still felt like the naive little first year that went skipping through the Hogwarts corridors looking for some kind of adventure. AS she looked at Ranch again, she got the impression he didn't really want to be talking to her. "Uhm....you don't have to stand here and talk with me if you don't want to." she said blushing a bit. |
"Hmm?" he said taken aback, "No, no thats not it at all....I just...I'm not very good at talking to people I don't know. I never know what to say, so I come off as...." |
Well didn't she feel rude now. If her face wasn't red before, it was now. "Oh no, I just thought....." Wow awkward much? Demetria sat back down, hoping he would join her. "So...er....." she tried to find something to say. "You have an accent. Are you American?" she asked. |
Her face turned bright red. Wow I just totally managed too make this completely awkward. Score 1 for me! He thought sarcastically. "Yeah, you must be refering to my country boy drawl," he said as he sat down next to her, "I'm American all right, just moved here before the term started." |

"WAASSSUPP EVERYONEEE?" Ella yelled as she joined the table. Chuckling, she swiftly sat on the long bench and grabbed an orange slice. "Mmmm..healthy!" Gosh, classes made her hyperrr. |

"Hey, Carter, Lilly," she smiled. "Classes just boost my energy, or something," she laughed. "You guys had anything yet?" she asked politely, gazing at the piles of food. "They're going to bloat us, I swear." Tehhheeh. |

"I was talking about the food," she giggled, "But I've been to Charms, History of Magic, DADA, and Arithmancy," Ella said proudly. She grabbed a slice of pizza that had just appeared. "DIBS!" she laughed. |

Kylie was just walking by when she heard someone at the Gryffindor table talking about classes..and flying.. "Excuse me?" she said, she hoped she wasn't intruding on anything.. "but were you talking about classes? And flying? Did you like it? I think Charms is absolutely stunning..and flying..." although she already knew how to fly, the feeling was still...unbelievable. "And ancient runes.. was quite dramatic near the end! Wasn't it?" Kylie was starting to get excited by now and it obviously showed on her face. |

"Did you consider going out for Gryffindor's Qudditch team?" She hoped this wasn't going to cause something. Some people got really irate when talking about Qudditch.. |

Tori had just got the Great Hall, a little disgruntled. She been up late reading. She sat at the Gryffindor Table and merely said "Good morning." to everyone at who could hear. Some orange juice would probably make her feel better...maybe. As she ate a brown barn owl came fluttering into the great hall, carrying a letter. It dropped it in front of her and fluttered away. Tori was quite bewildered as to who would be sending her a letter. It couldn't be her mother as it wasn't her own owl that delivered it. She looked at it but saw nothing but her name. Tori cautiously opened the letter and received the shock of her life. The letter was from her father. She stared at the letter with surprise and hate."How did he know i was here? That I still existed?"she thought. |
