Gryffindor House Table
 

Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.

The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:

Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace
Solid friendships forming
People so full of grace
Rockin' the competition
In a race for the house cup
Doing everything we can
Earning points to keep us up
Reeling for a win
Us Lions gettin' it done
Loyality guiding us through

After waking up very early that morning, Tori got dressed in her school robes and went downstairs to the Great Hall and sat at the Gryffindor table. She surveyed the table to see who was there. She saw Carter having his breakfast already. Tori wasn't exactly a morning person and was very quiet at that time of the day. She looked in front of her and began filling her bowl of cereal and milk.

"Yeah, I am." she said spooning cereal into her mouth. What's your first class? sah asked, "Wait, did you say flying starts today?"

"Yeah, I'm excited. I think I have arithmancy first. Are you going to take that? Then flying. What about you?"

Oh i'm taking Arithmancy too. Not sure if that's gonna be easy. I'm not so wonderful with numbers but i'm gonna do it." Tori replied with a hint of excitement glinting under the haze of morning gloom.

Lucy walked into the Great Hall for breakfast, ready for the start of the new term. She sat near some first years that were engaged in conversation. She tucked into some porridge, silently humming to herself.

Lucy was very excited about her new school. As she entered the great hall, she saw a huge table and all the food she loved to eat was present on that table so very happily she took a seat and started eating all that as fast as she could. Forgetting she was not at home. She tried to control herself and have patients to eat. She wanted to make few more friends here and had a smile on her face always. Hoping for someone to say “Hi”.

"Hi, I'm Tori what's your name?" she said introducing herself to the girl that sat in front of her, " This is my friend Carter, he's a little preoccupied stuffing his face to say his own name." she continued with a chuckle.

Lucy noticed the first years introducing themselves to each other. She decided to join in.
"Hi you guys! My name is Lucy, and I'm in fourth year. What are your names?" she asked kindly.

Carter chuckled as he finished his gulp. "I'm Carter." he said. He then smiled at each of them and helped himself to another bite.

Tori began giggling at Carter."What classes are you going to be taking?" she politely asked Lucy.

Ellie wasn't at all hungry. She poured some milk over her cereal, but played with it rather than ate it.

"Hi!! Tori, nice to meet you. I'm lucy and nice to meet you too Carter. I'm in the first year. I'm having fun and was very excited to be in Gryffindor. I wanted to be in this house from the time i got the letter from Hogwarts. I'm having fun, what about you?" said Lucy.

"It's been great so far? Have you had any classes yet?" Carter responded in between bites.

Yes i've been in a few classes. I'm in D.A.D.A and Quidditch, what about you, have you been in any?

"DADA, flying, arithmancy, and history of magic." Carter replied. "Tori and I are taking all the same class. You should look for us."

Yes, thats a good idea. Thanks i'll be looking for you and Tori, then may be we all could go together that would be fun.

"It would indeed." Carter said taking his last bite. "I feel like a pig, you two have barely eaten." he said with a chuckle looking at the difference in amounts of food on the plates.

Ranch sauntered to the Griffindor House Table and sat down sleepily. He grabbed some....something and began chewing slowly. He gave a short nod to the other Griffies at the table.

Lucy smiled at both Tori and Carter. "I'm taking DADA, Tranfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Arithmancy, and Ancient Runes. Wow, I just realized that sounds like a lot! So both of you are first years? How do you like Hogwarts?" she asked them.

"Yeah. I'm enjoying Hogwarts a lot. Its fun, but it does take awhile to get used to." Carter said still in awe over the size of the school.

" Yeah we are. I'm falling in love with Hogwarts already. I like my room, I think the classes I've chosen are pretty interesting." Tori said with maybe a little too much enthusiasm than the conversation required.She flushed in slight embarrassment,"I'm taking a couple of those classes you just reeled off."

"That does sound like fun. So what do you find most intriguing here so far?" Tori responded to Lucy.

Every thing has been great so far, it is a great fun to be in Hogwarts. I am having lots of fun here. What about you? and, how is it with you Carter? Said Lucy waiting for their response.
